LUKOMIR. Valaha volt egyik legkülönlegesebb túránk. Umoljaniból tettünk meg egy jó 14-17 km-es körtúrát Lukomiron át. Utunk változatos tájakon át vezetett, emberrel Lukomirt leszámítva nem is találkoztunk. Fantasztikus érzés volt újból átélni, megtapasztalni azt az igazán vad környezetet, amit eddig talán csak Montenegróban sikerült átélnem. Jók ezek a balkán túrák, bizony.

picit Lukomirról: 1469 méteren, Bosznia legmagasabban fekvő lakott települése. Az Egyesült Királyság Történelmi Építészeti Társasága Európa egyik legrégebben lakott falvának minősítette. A cseresznyefa tetőzsindelyes kőházak olyan gyakorlatot mutatnak be, amely Bjelašnicán máshol már nem található. A falu lakói főként pásztorok, akik juhtermékek értékesítéséből élnek.

Hi! I saw your post about you calling places their Sámi/original names & want you to know in Aotearoa (where I live) this is common for everyone to do - Māori (Indigenous) and non-Māori. I hope you see this all through Sámpi too very soon ♥️💚💛💙

thank you ❤️💚💛💙 I’m glad to hear that I think it’s very beautiful to give land it’s name back. here a lot of places have signs with the norwegian name and then the original name under it, but norwegian people used to shoot at them until they were unreadable or paint over the original name. and then do it again when the signs got replaced 😭 people don’t really use those names unless they’re actually speaking in a sámi language but I think we should because the names are so nice to listen to they sound so nice in sámi + a lot of the norwegian names suck. sometimes they just change it for the norwegian alphabet and pronounciation (because the sámi languages are from a different language group) like Guovdageainnu becomes Kautokeino, but sometimes a place will have the coolest name ever with like sámi mythology or something and they don’t even translate it OR pick a similar name. they’re just like hm there’s a mountain and a village here. I’m calling it mountainvillage

Last shot from here. Back to Bulnes, Part Two - The Upper Village (Bulnes de Arriba) At this village on the very highest ledge we found a bar! I ordered a bottle (large) of the local Asturian Cider which I had gained quite a taste for. When I had drank about 25% of it a Spanish gent from a nearby table decided to teach us how to pour cider in Asturias which has to be done from an arms length height in order to aerate it. He poured the first glass without incident and gave it to Laura who graciously accepted it. Then he attempted to pout another at which point he dropped the bottle. It smashed into many small pieces on the ground so he had to go buy me another bottle.🙂 This meant that by the time we left I had consumed over a bottle and a quarter of the very nice Cider. This did wonders for my mood on the way back down but nothing at all positive for my equilibrium!!
