Time to tell who attacked Daniel and me and why they even did it.

It all started 2 years ago, when Daniel was with Irena. I once told that Irena used to work in bars & night clubs because Daniel spent all their money on drugs. One day Irena got sick and couldn’t really work. She was feeling ill, so she asked Daniel for help. He was supposed to help her a bit serving drinks at the bar in a club. She knew there would be a lot going on. So Daniel of course helped her. But that night something bad happened in that night club. 20-15 men stormed the club and randomly stabbed people.

Luckily nothing happened to Daniel and Irena, they didn’t even notice what happened at first, because the security guys stopped the perpetrators from doing more damage. No one was seriously injured or killed, except for 5 men who were found in the men’s room. They had severe stab wounds but survived!! When chaos broke out, everyone left the club but some people were injured on the ground. Daniel went to those people who were injured. He tried to help them and get them out of there. Only a few minutes later the police arrived. 6 of the perpetrators were handcuffed to the ground while the cops secured everything. They wanted to harm the nightclub owner with that sick act. That's why they did this!... The club owner eventually came to Daniel and thanked him for his help. He shook his hand. But one of the six perps observed this situation and memorized Daniel’s face very well. He thought Daniel was that club owner's son. And he actually looked like him a bit and was the same age as that guy.

And exactly this perpetrator, who observed the situation with Daniel and the club owner, recognized Daniel 2 years later, (6 weeks ago) when he and I went home, that terrible night. That’s why they attacked us! It wasn’t even planned, it was totally spontaneous. While Daniel and I were with his sister, two of the perpetrators waited until we left her apartment. The other two men stole a car! When Daniel and I left our own car after we parked in that dark alley, the 4 men decided to attack us. And Idk if you remember, but I said that one of the perps ransacked my bag because he wanted to see or check my ID. You know why he did this? He wanted to know where I am from! That I am not German, is obvious but the perps were also not Germans. They originally came from Kosovo (Albania) but grew up in Germany. Their families and parents experienced bad things during the Kosovo war, which is why they developed a deep hatred for a certain group of people. The 4 perpetrators belonged to an extremist group that had only death and destruction in mind. And that one nightclub owner they tried to hurt two years ago, wasn’t a nice guy either. He was also a member of a criminal, devious group or something. Idk, really! In any case, this man was also not from Germany, he was from ex Yugoslavia (Serbia). And his homeland and Albania were at war for years. The hatred between him and the 4 men arose because they were all destroyed by their obsessed faith and religion. No sorry! Religion is not to blame, I mean their fanaticism has destroyed them and their false faith. It was about the senseless, old hatred between Christians and Muslims. And when I found out, I was just wondering what did daniel and I have to do with all this????? And we absoulutly had nothing to do with that club owner and his shit! However, I was lucky that I had my dad’s family/last name at that time and not my mom’s as 15 years ago. They would have killed me without blinking, if they had read my mom’s last name on my ID. Anyway, now you know why those men wanted to kill Daniel. Daniel was just trying to help injured people in that damn club and almost paid for it with his life two years later.

So yea, that's the��world we're living in today. War and suffering were the triggers that turned those four men into monsters. They were blind with rage & unable to distinguish between good and evil.

Let's get in Sim Manu's home for a tour, shall we?

Main entrance (RL me would dial the clutter to 11, but then this house is also far bigger than the flat I actually own, so it evens up somehow)

So, if you ever wondered what my home looks like, this is sort of it on a bigger scale: Books and plants everywhere, old oriental wooly carpets inherited from family, chairs and sofa recovered in my choice of fabrics because I used to be an upholsterer, dammit!

And a ton of thrifted stuff, especially paintings.

The one on the mantel is sort o my stuff (from @b5studio, if you wondered): I don't do paint by numbers, but those were the closest to what I actually have. No print or copies of masterpieces, but what you can easely call third rate art (with a couple of second rate here and there).

All of those lovingly accumulated in 35 years of thrifting. Sort of a glorious mess, but I love it!

And of course, a lot of craft everywhere: I do paint too, sometimes, sew quite a bit and also knit and crochet a little, adding to the mess...

What’s your favourite sims death? I don’t really have a favorite but if we are going to be morbidly humorous then electrocution or laughing. Majority of my sims die from old age which is on occasion forced by me due to wanting to speed up to the next generation or reducing my games sim count.

Alpha CC or Maxis Match? The only cc I use is a default skin, lips, eyes and cheek blush. I used to use eyelashes but then they stopped working with one of the recent patches and I was like, meh, no biggy and then I never bothered to figure out why and just accepted my very vanilla sims. 💗 To be honest I cannot be bothered with all that stuff with TS4. I went banana’s on it with TS3 so I guess I’ve had my day with cc.

Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? No. I’ll get them to workout for a bit but I don’t obsess over it.

Do you use move objects? Yes

Favorite mod? MCCC

First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? Get To Work

Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? As LIVe mode.

Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? Some of my favorite sims were probably from my TS3 sims story that I wrote on Blogger years ago. I gave them very detailed and individual personalities and I got quite attached to them. I tried recreating them in TS4 but they just never felt quite the same. 

Have you made a simself? Yes and it was a very false representation of myself so I never did again. 😆

What sim traits do you give yourself? Perfectionist, which is inaccurate - I’m not looking for perfectionism, just for things to be organised. Active and I think the other one was Loves Outdoors but then I changed it to Loner.

Which is your favorite EA hair color? Probably brown because in RL I’ve always loved brown hair.

Favorite EA hair? I like a lot of the Updo hairstyles.

Favorite life stage? Infants and elders. What more can I say about infants but I am obsessed with them at them moment. Their cuteness out weighs their neediness. Elders I have always loved, even back in TS3 days. They are cute and funny and quirky, and I find their grumpiness amusing.

Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? I enjoy both and when I get bored of one I switch to the other. Building for me comes in waves. Sometimes I get this huge burst of inspiration and other times I have nothing. Gameplay is a bit easier I feel that I don’t need to be too inspired as there are always things to check off with inspirations, or life milestones for a sim and keep me inspired to keep playing. I’m a check off the list kind of person.

Are you a CC creator? No

Do you have any simblr friends/a sim squad? I think of the fellow simmers I interact on here with as my online friends/mutuals. 💗

What’s your favorite game? I’ve loved all of them and appreciate each version of the game for what was/is at the time it was released.

Do you have any sims merch? Yes. I used to purchase the game magazines at the newsagent. I’ve kept them and have all versions except for Sims 1. I also have Sims 3 guide books and I also once purchased a mobile phone holder once but I think I threw that out years ago.

Do you have a YouTube for sims? No

How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? I don’t think I really have a so called sim style. In terms of playing the game I think as the different game versions came out I adapted and changed with them. Sims 1 & 2 I just played randomly and played around with building. Sims 3 I began a story which I then wrote for 10 years on blogger. I also really got into building but didn’t really consider myself a good enough builder. Sims 4 I struggled with at first because it was such a big change from Sims 3 but I feel pretty comfortable with where I am in my gameplay and how I post about my gameplay now.

Who’s your favorite CC creator? For my default skins I like luumia, for lips simsontherope, for blush squeamishsims.

How long have you had a simblr? Since December 2011. 

How do you edit your pictures? In Photoshop. I use an action from another simmer but for the life of me I cannot find who or where I got it from. It’s called Gohliad Subtle and it resizes, adjusts levels, brightens etc. 

What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? None. To be honest, my game is so full of packs and kits (not all kits) that I’m quite content with what I have already. I think I might be done in downloading & paying for extra stuff from EA. Though if we get a horses pack, as per the rumors, then I’ll probably eat my own words and buy it. But not for the horses 👎, for the new world! 😀

What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? There are two, Seasons and Growing together. Both of these have been a massive gamechanger for me. I love seasons in my game and the infants, well they have my heart!

What’s your favorite Sims death?

I play Sims 3 the most so I'll answer it for that one. There are so many cool deaths in Sims 3, unfortunately I only experienced a few and in those my favourite is definitely the meteor one. I got this only one time in my 10+ years of playing. I remember it like yesterday, I had just made a new sim, was planning on playing a legacy and sent her to university. I shit you guys not she got hit by a meteor on her first class activity. As that was my only sim, the game was over xD

Alpha CC or MaxisMatch?

Ahh, hard to answer. You kind of have to go with Alpha hair in Sims 3. I remember I used a lot of Alpha cc for sims 2 back in the day. Before MM was this popular. I really do not like alpha cc in clothes for Sims 3 though. I guess a bit of both?

Do you cheat your sims weight?

I never actually felt the need to do that. I personally like exercise and my sims usually are on the active side as well and they keep good shape. I certainly don't mind seeing sims who are a bit on the heavier side around town.

Do you move objects?

Probably not as often as other simmers, tbh. I do build but I don't like clutter. If I feel the need to use it I will, but it doesn't happen often.

Favorite Mod?

Definitely Nrass MC. It just makes it so easier to fix some of the quirks this game can have. Also being able to just makeover townies, is a must for me. Even though I carefully select my randomizable outfits I'll still take them to cas for a touch up.

First Expansion/Game Pack/Stuff Pack?

Ah, hard to remmeber. I think I had open for business in Sims 2 as my first expansion but the first one I specifically saved up money for was Late Night for Sims 3.

Do you pronounce live mode like aLIVE or LIVing?

Alive.

Have you made a simself?

Eh, not on looks exactly like myself but definitely on traits, Kara is pretty much me/my alter ego. I made her when I was 12 and didn't know how much I liked dancing or clubbing xD Realized it after I grew up and got to do those things, haha

Which is your favorite EA hair color?

Hmm, there was this hair mutation my only 4 generation legacy had. It was a very nice shade of blonde, I liked that.

Favorite EA hair?

For Sims 3 it's this hair Karen has in this post.

For Sims 2, harder to choose. I love all these ( 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 ) my favourite is gonna be the Bella hair.

Favorite life stage?

Always gonna be YA. In every iteration. Loved university stuff in Sims 2 and I love that stage in all other games.

Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay?

Well, I like building the lots my sims play in. A lot of the cc lots out there have too much clutter and I do not like clutter. Whenever I download a lot I'll end up deleting all those decorations anyway so why bother. Adding the fact that I'm an architect in RL, I just notice, specially in residential lots, some no-no's we were thought in school.

Short answer is, I build them for myself to play in and share just in case if people would like to add my things to their games.

Are you a CC creator?

I haven't dabbled with creating meshes but did some recolours, tattoos, lots or whatever. Am I a cc creator tho? Nah, I just share the stuff I make for myself.

Do you have any Simblr friends or a Sim Squad?

Sim Squad? No. Simblr friends? I would like to think, yes. I consider people I chat regularly under posts as my simblr friends :D

Do you have any sims merch?

How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing?

I am in more control of the town but less in control of my sims these days if that makes sense? I try to do what they would wish to do and leave certain things to their autonomy.

What’s your origin id?

Do not use origin. I have the games on discs and I created their disc images long time ago. I use the no-disc crack for them now as I couldn't set the disc image to work for Sims 3 on this laptop.

Who’s your favorite CC creator?

I do not have that much cc for sims 3 but first people that comes to my mind are @sweetdevil-sims and @simlicious. Love their edits to simple maxis clothes and simlicious' patterns. They are out of this world in quality! looking at @aroundthesims for some objects I find myself looking for also.

How long have you had simblr?

I think I have been sharing my lots on @simsitecture since 2017 but haven't interacted with the community much back then due to my main blog being something else. I changed this blog to be a simblr I think about a year ago and since then I've been more active here.

How do you edit your pictures?

I have a few actions for brightness and saturation in PS. I use those on images I think that are too dark etc. Nothing else.

What expansion/ gamepack is your favorite?

Sims 2: Nightlife

Sims 3: Late Night

Sims 4: Get Together

Hmm, think there is a pattern there...

I finally made a simself that looks sorta like me! Thanks to the awesome Colorsliders by thepancake1 and MizoreYukii i’m finally able to create my rl hair color ^^

Its so freakin’ hard though! I have such a wide jaw and just weird bone structure i guess and those sliders almost killed me but this is as close as i’m going to get hahaha XD

So a bit back this guy I just ugh wow sucks for me everytime I play that game I get some DESPERATE MALE attention I really REALLY need to stop being so personal but my ass just never learns anyway sees M.K and is like Oh.... so that's the kind of guys  you’re into. First of all even if M.K were real I’d be WAAAAAY  out of his league In reality  and Honestly after what this so called “friend” pulled on me yesterday saying the gm was talking shit about me messing up mechanics  which I spoke to them about which was NOT TRUE  toxic men can be all shapes and sizes. ( he sent me what he looked like ew asked to see what I looked like I said no but some time later posted in the rl pic sharing discord Of course says I’m pretty...)

Also here’s a fun fact I am more like M.K than I am my own simself they both are a mixture of myself which is weird I know but there you go I felt like throwing this out because I kind of miss them.

Two Outfits, Every Pack

I don’t have a great deeal of motivation for gameplay lately (rl woes) so instead I’m gonna do some more one pack styling in CAS, but this time I’m going to try to make two outfits for each pack - one using seperates and one using an ‘outfit’ (dress, set, etc).

I’m also using more diverse sims rather than just my simself, so let me introduce:

AURORA Build: Plus Size Hair: Ginger

YUKI* Build: Slim Hair: Dark Brown

OCTAVIA* Build: Curvy Hair: Black

I’m going to split the packs between the three, but I’m not sure if I’ll alternate packs or outfits at this stage.

*Yuki and Octavia are EA premades, but I tweaked them a little.
