After reading this post I imagined a posible new ending for Ruby in V9. She turns into a new version of herself, with all of her memories, but with a new mentality, she gets bits of Adam and Summer's personality. Her design also gets inspiration from Adam and Summer. Because she can't be the same old Ruby after all the trauma she suffered.
That could be interesting in a fanfic, but it would be torn to pieces if it was canon. Summer is still basically a non-character at this point with how little we know about her and Ruby never once interacted with (or even, as far as we know, knew about) Adam.
But yeah. I really wish the lesson for her hadn't been "you're good enough as you are and you don't need to change" and more "it is enough for you to be who you are, but you should lean on others when who you are isn't enough for what you need to do."
Clumsily worded, but you get the idea.

Is there any Adam Taurus merch out there?
the only ones we remember from rooster teeth themselves was the recalled "lover's quarrel" one of him & blake in a manga panel; as well as the yang / adam sumi tshirt found here. however both were incredibly overpriced as all rwby merch so really i would recommend checking out on redbubble!

Wow, 🤣. Those two lines did it for me.

Hello.
In your honest opinion. Do you think Adam was very depowered in his fight with Yang and Blake?
Considering that there’s no canonical reason why the semblance that did this to an atlesian mech:
Tumblr media
And this to Yang’s flesh arm when her semblance was active:
Tumblr media
Suddenly can’t do more than this to an atlesian mech arm:
Tumblr media
Yeah. He was.
On a side note, Adam wasn’t the only one. Yang’s semblance got nerfed too—or did we all forget that she sent a multi-ton armored tank flying with a single punch?
Tumblr media
If she supposedly hit Adam with even half that force, he wouldn’t been sent into the sky like Team goddamn Rocket (remember how Junior got launched clean out of his club via a second story window from the ground floor? Or Yang sending three people out of bounds simultaneously in the Vytal festival?) Instead Adam just gets shoved into the ground a little and gets up. Aura broken, sure, but he’s physically fine. And we saw his aura taking many hits before this point so it’s not like Yang took him from nearly full to zero in one shot, which imo would’ve been a much better reflection of her semblance’s power.
Plus, iirc, Blake doesn’t use a single Dust-infused shadow the whole fight. Why not? Those things are game changers. If you want to avoid fueling Adam’s semblance, just stick to rock and ice to try to interrupt his attacks or pin him temporarily.
It was a better choreographed fight than most in the surrounding volumes, but that doesn’t mean much, particularly when you’re ignoring established aspects of characters’ kits.

An angst au where Blake and Weiss killed Adam. Weiss was the one who gave him the fatal blow.
The team go to Atlas, Weiss (who hasn't master her summon ability) and Blake fight the WF branch in Mantle (Blake and her family managed to ally themselves with some WF branches. As some big reveal Weiss summons Adam's soul, he fights and wins easily against the WF members (they are in shock to see him) (Here Weiss summons the souls of her kills).
Blake is disturbed, Weiss ends very unhappy with it after she digs in her family horrible practices in the dust mines and swears to never summon Adam again.
Instead of following a pointless political election, the cast have to help Atlas, Mantle and the Crater, they reveal of all the dirt called racism in Atlas.
Blake ask the team to use the last question and ask Jinn how to free Adam's soul.
Is Weiss literally having control of Adam's soul after killing him problematic on several levels? Yes. Is it also sick as hell and a spectacular vehicle for angst, particularly if Adam retains self awareness and can chafe against what's happening to him? Yes.
I like that you've brought up how it affects both Blake and Weiss. I also like that you have Weiss swear she won't do it again. At the same time, I am fascinated by the idea of Blake asking her to bring Adam back so they can talk. Maybe the place Adam's soul goes when he's not summoned is miserable as opposed to some blank void and he does not want to stay there more than necessary - i.e. it's fine for Grimm but for a person it's unbearable.
And using the last question for that purpose? That would be an excellent way to have everyone react to Adam's story and a very character-driven (as opposed to plot-driven) way to use the relic. It gives Adam's final death weight.

Hello 👋
A dialogue got stuck in my head so I wanted to share it with you:
[someone, who knew Adam, talking with someone about Adam's past] He had this sense of justice. It got him into very bad situations.
[flashback of Adam, focus on his bad eye]
End of my imagination.
I was wondering if it can fit into one of your previous/HP stories/story.
Neat bit of dialogue that does a lot to hint at Adam’s past and how he got the scar. Although, as you note, it requires the character speaking to have some knowledge of Adam’s past, which is a narrow-to-nonexistent subset of people.
I’m sure you could make it work in a story of your own 😉

Finally, in a piece of media Adam could be more than Blake's crazy ex-boyfriend. Thanks a lot SHAFT.
While there’s part of me that has just been vibrating at a frequency that could shatter glass since I saw his design and description, the rest is standing back like

Seeing your drawing of ghost Adam made me think of an AU. Adam after getting stabbed by Blake and Yang wanders the woods trying to heal. Due to the events of Vol8, Remnant starts to suffer from dust shortages (the SDC is essencially destroyed). Cities start to fall into caos due to the fight started to take possession of the last dust factories.
Humans kidnap faunus. So after some time we find Adam as the lone protector of some faunus village, he hides his face behind a mask and is known to be fiercely brutal to the anyone threating the village.
The villagers usually leave him alone as they know he doesn't like to socialize, yet are thankful to him so they leave him food and medicine at his cabin's door. Said cabin is surrounded by rose bushes, which Adam loves to take care of.
Rumors start to appear, rumors of a lonely man (I wanted to use the word beast to connect Adam to the beast in the B&B)
Well, after some time kids and teenagers from the village start to bother Adam, wanting to discover if he is a real person or a ghost/some mythical figure/whatever.
In short: the tell of the beast without any romance, where the beast heals from the hate of himself thought helping his kind.
Flaws from this idea?
Hard to say there are flaws from just an outline like this. My biggest question, though: why does Adam stay in the village? Why is the village more important to him than reclaiming his power or continuing to try to get revenge on Blake?
Other questions to consider: why doesn't anyone in the village suspect who he is? Is anyone unhappy with his presence there, regardless of whether or not they know who he is? Who's spreading the rumors and why? What is the White Fang (or its scattered members) doing during this time? Do any organizations targeting faunus take notice of Adam and try to seriously remove him as a threat? Is Adam suffering any lasting symptoms from his injury, and if so, how is he dealing with them?
Otherwise I do like the elements you've laid out here, particularly the rose bushes. This premise would take a lot of work to endear the village characters to the audience and to justify how Adam can protect all of them (and himself) alone, but it's a great opportunity to deconstruct Adam's character.

To be honest, the colors Crwby uses for Yang's clothes are horrible. A boring brown, ugly orange and bright yellow are a bad mix.
There, I critized a female character.
Gasp you misogynist. Clearly this character has the agency to pick her own clothes and thus the clothes are empowering and reflective of uhhhh womanly power so critiquing them is critiquing all women

Thanks! Just wanted to make tak about our favorite edgelord. Does she look like Adam or something? Checking the original drawing, the mother is Weiss, so I tried to balance the looks of both of them, without making the kid a clone.
The sketch doesn't have enough detail for me to say anything definitive. Not a bad thing! Just a limitation of me not being able to see what you see in your head.
