Patton recounts what he remembers from their misadventures during Liar’s Night,

“I can still feel my aches from fighting Remus, and I remember everything up to getting drinks with Roman, but after that point is a bit of a blur. I was a little tipsy at the time, but that usually doesn’t impede a Hin’s memory, so I think that’s the magic’s doing...” he continues wandering aimlessly about the forest and looking for Dee as he speaks aloud,

“I remember looking for Annie, and Roman freaking out when we couldn't find her. I’ve never actually seen him flounder like that before. It feels mean to say, and it wasn’t worth the price of her being kidnapped of course, but I did feel a little vindicated seeing his panic. Didn’t want him treating the issue lightly, since he really had messed up this time.

“I remember noticing that person wearing green. They'd...been following me for a while, now that I think about it!” Patton huffs, frustrated,

“I thought they must have been up to something after your warnings, but when I walked up to confront them they disappeared. I mean vanished, like a magic trick! I kept looking for them in the crowd, but I couldn’t find them again after that, and regardless I had a more important missing person to worry about.

“When I found him again, Roman was arguing with Remus. I'm not sure when he got there, or what they were arguing about, but Roman was beet-red in the face.

Before I could really hear them, suddenly Remus had fallen flat on the floor! I remember assuming Roman must have knocked him flat for an insult or another, but I don’t think Roman had touched him.”

Patton scratches his head, coming up blank.

“Ahhh...Everything after that I forget. I’m not sure if anyone else in the ballroom even noticed Remus passing out before I woke up in the barn again.”

At your insistence upon the letter, Patton pats the pack strapped around his waist and frowns,

“I don't know what the letter has to do with all this, but I suppose we could read it once everyone's back together again. I doubt anyone but me wants to try going to the party again, after what happened last time.”

He blushes slightly, sheepish,

“There's no point in me reading it alone. My reading isn't so good, and if I know Ian, he'll have encoded something on it. We'll need a candle to read it fully, and I don't want to risk opening it and smearing something...”

Patton gets back to looking for Janus in earnest, moping to himself with a pout,

“Oh, I wish Logan wasn’t knocked out... He’d be able to fix all of this with those spells of his, or at least come up with a better plan than that scoundrel Dee! —And I hate speaking ill of people, so you know I mean it!”

He fidgets with the sleeves of his hoodie, looking around nervously,

“Gee... What can I do? I doubt I’ll find Dee unless he wants to be found, and he sure doesn’t seem interested in being anywhere near me. I should have been watching him more closely...

“Should I keep looking, or should I just go back??”

When Charlie split off to be her own person she went from being Charlemagne morningstar to Charlie Magne.

Lucifer wasn't the happiest to learn that Charlie had essentially disowned him and got married without telling him. He ended up really liking Vaggie but as Naturallyunstablegamer put it, it's the principle of the matter.

He didn't like that his kid, who while he admittedly wasn't the most doting of he still cared for, was living a life entirely separate from him and her general heritage.

He also didn't like that Carmilla was Charlie's mother-in-law. Carmilla hadn't put together that Charlie was Charlemagne by some act of God but she didn't even care all that much, she'd still kill her if she ever hurt Vaggie.

Vaggie will call Charlie, Charlemagne when it's just them or if it's just the bar staff around. Only when Charlie fucks up extra bad though.

Idk if you still want some teen!eldritch horror ask but like sweet youngest babies (Lo n V) being hit with the puberty stick before their big bro’s sounds like fun. Like idk Remus n Ro realizing one day that their baby bro’s are taller than them. Or Virgil’s voice dropped somewhere near the earth’s core wtf, how is this allowed?

This is so cute but Ro and Re are 4 years older than Lo and Vi! They go through puberty first but Remus DOES get taller than Roman first because they’re technically mirror twins and so he hits his growthspurt before Roman (and gets facial hair too) and Roman is shorter and PISSED. 

Roman hits his puberty a few years later but at 17 Remus holds it over him ALL the time. Remus is like.... the one everyone thinks is a jock and he totally works out but it’s just because he REALLY likes to show off his really cool markings that definitely don’t open into giant horrible mouths with innumerable  tongues and teeth nosiree.He also likes to manifest tentacles and that’s a lot easier without his shirt. Though he does like the ripped aesthetic they’re bulkier than when he was a kid so the holes are much less holes and more like the entire back of his shirt is just... gone....

Roman, resident thespian, is so fucking pissed Remus just walks around with his moustache looking hideous, like come on if only one of us can grow facial hair at LEAST shave or cut it so it looksless like an ugly porn stache.

Like their brothers before them, Virgil and Logan are chubbier when they’re 13. They’ll hit a growthspurt later and that slims Virgil (not that fat is bad its just what’s gonna happen to him in particular) But I have decided that Logan remains lovely and fat and softer because why the hell not, he’s adorable! Chonk Logan Rights! And he takes after Patton who is also heavier and why should deity-like creatures be skinny? Not in my fantasy world. Nope. Disregard any image I drew before with older Logan being skinny it’s IRRELEVANT and so says I.

Anyways, they can hide their more eldritch/celestial appearances but never the teeth, ears or claws. Those always stay.

Virgil's voice does drop way before Logan's though and they absolutely as older siblings will, tease them both.

I am alive and good! I’ve been at college, busy with a bunch of projects + working over the summer, so I’ve abandoned my art tumblr for a while. But life has been fun and exciting! Charlie was born Charlemagne morningstar and changed her name to Charlie magne. She was so proud of herself for her naming skills.

Hell hounds have an angelic equivalent in Principalities or angelic hounds as a slang term. They started with Romulus and Remus.

Because Romulus killed Remus he went to hell as an angelic hound and his descendants became hell hounds.

Part of the reason hell hounds are so low on the food chain is because as part of Romulus's punishment all of his descendants were cursed. Same with Cain but he didn't have kids.

The curse for Principalities applies to all of the fallen ones. That's why hell hounds are so low in hell.

The important ones are of course Romulus and then Larzious and Kirie.

Larzious and Kirie fell together while fighting with Carmilla who works with all of the important fallen angels in one way or another I guess.

The curse of fallen angels offspring being much weaker doesn't apply to the first few fallen (Lilith, Lucifer, Carmilla and others like them) just because they fell a long time ago and they were strong.
