The boy caught Mini staring, and he did that cute thing where his mouth went up and his teeth showed. At that moment, Mini could've sworn someone had hit the "pause" button on the world. She saw that adorable gleam in his eyes, the way his pearly white teeth glinted in the sunlight, and his silky hair as it fell over the side of his face, ever so slightly covering his brown eyes. Mini's brain processed his smile at a slow pace as she gawked at him, her heart fluttering slightly.

Then he winked at her.

He winked.

At her.

And then maybe someone had hit the "play" button on the world again, because Mini's body had decided that that was the perfect opportunity to bump into a pole.

Mini tried to mask her faint smile with fake anger as soon as she heard the shuffling of clumsy feet behind her.

“Um, Mini? Can we, uh, talk?”

“We don’t need to talk.”

“But–”

“Leave, Rudy.” She didn't need to turn around to know that Rudy was probably about to babble about something behind her.

“That’s exactly what Aru told me to do, so I came here! Where else am I supposed to go now that you’re telling me to leave too? You know, I always thought you were the only one of the Potatoes who liked me, even if it was just a bit. They all think I'm just a, y'know, and it's annoying! If you’re going to be on my side, then who is?”

Mini made a small noise with her throat, a mixture of annoyance, confusion, and pity.

She knew the final war had taken a great toll on Aru. She was exhausted, and so was her mother. They would rarely come out of the museum, and Mini felt nothing but pity and sorrow for the two.

Though the burden she carried wasn’t as bad as theirs, she had never felt worse. Constant headaches and dark thoughts filled her mind. School work was piling up. And on top of everything, she had to talk to… Rudy.

She wondered how he was, back in Naga-Loka. Was he happy? Maybe being spoiled with gems and riches, like a normal naga prince? Did he have… A girlfriend?

Mini pushed her questions aside.

Math first, Rudy issues later, she told herself.

She got on her tippy-toes and looked through the peep-hole.

Rudy.

Her heart seemed to beat ten times faster, and her palms became slightly sweaty as her hand wrapped itself around the doorknob. She pulled the door open–revealing Rudy–and squinted, as he was dressed in his usual blinding white clothes.

All of a sudden her brain seemed to process things at a lag, though–one second, she and Rudy were a couple feet away from one another, and the next, Rudy seemed to have wrapped his arms tightly around her in a bear hug, preventing any oxygen from entering her body.

Rudy tapped his pencil against the table, legs swinging forwards and backwards under the desk. He took a breath in, as if he were about to reveal one of his darkest secrets.

“So, Mini…”

Mini gulped. “Yes?”

“I don’t know how to say this, but, you’re really smart and all, so…”

Her breath sped up a bit. “Go ahead.”

“Will you…Um… Tutor me?”

Mini froze as disappointed coiled up inside of her. The way Rudy had been speaking, Mini had assumed that he’d meant… Something else.

She barely processed the sorrow evident on Rudy’s face.

“You know, I would ask Aiden, but he would probably be annoyed, and I really need you to tutor me since I might join human school and all that, I need to know the basics of things work and stuff–” 

“Oh! Yeah, sure. I… I guess.”

Rule number three, make the first move, because Rudy is an idiot, Mini reminded herself of Aru’s words.

And then she leaned in without even a moment of hesitation.

The Stars Below Us - College AU Part 2

Ok, so I know I promised to do the vending machine part in Aru's POV but her brain was dead and she didn't really know what she was doing then, so I decided to instead fast-forward to confession time, which is months later.

Aru's POV:

Aru panted, inhaling sharp, cold air that made her lungs sting.

"Whose idea was it to climb Stone Mountain again?" She gasped. Aiden, who was bent over next to her, trying to catch his breath, glared at her.

"Pretty sure it was you, Shah. Didn't you say you wanted to go somewhere special and tell me something?" Aru felt her face burn. Tonight was the night she planned on confessing about her crush to him.

So she decided to take Aiden to the one place where they could see the stars in Atlanta. But what if he said no? She slapped her cheeks.

Get a grip, Shah. It doesn't matter what he says, this will be good for your state of mind. You can grow a beard when he rejects you and move to a different country. Plus your mental insanity could decrease and you might even stop talking to yourself. Aru huffed.

"Whatever." Then a sly look entered her eyes and she smirked. "Race you to the top! Last one there gets to be Brynne's taste-testing guinea pig!" Then she took off and ran up the mountain like her life depended on it; because it did.

"Hey! That's not fair!" Aiden raced after her, camera swinging near his hip. Aru could practically smell the top of the mountain, she could certainly see it. However, she could also see that Aiden was gaining on her.

Just ten more steps! She squeezed her eyes shut, adrenaline pumping through her veins, as she lunged and threw herself at the make-believe finish line. Aiden was five seconds too late.

"And I win! Beat it, snob." She cheered. Aiden rolled his eyes and flopped down next to Aru, who lay on the grass, looking ridiculous, but still grinning triumphantly.

"You cheated and you know it, troll. You had a big head start." Aiden complained, looking disgruntled, but he didn’t sound mad.

"Whatever floats your boat, Wifey." He made a rude gesture at her, then started fiddling with Shadowfax. They lay on the grass on top of Stone Mountain, not saying anything and ignoring the weird looks people gave them. Both were lost in thought. When Aru finally sat up, however, she gasped in dismay.

"Where are the stars?" The sky was completely devoid and looked like a black expanse of nothing. Now what was she supposed to do? She had a whole speech planned and everything, and the monologue mostly included the keyword 'stars'. Wait. What were the words again? Aru started panicking when she realized she had forgotten her entire speech.

"Shah?" Aiden asked softly, looking at her in concern as she covered her face with her hands.

"The thing I was supposed to tell you.... no, never mind. I dragged you all the way up here so we could look at the stars, I know how much you love scenic views. It was a really hard climb, but they said it's worth it when you see the bejeweled night sky. But it was all for nothing."

"But there are stars here."

"What?" Aiden stood up and helped Aru do the same, before walking towards the edge of the mountain with the other in tow.

"Look." He pointed down, and Aru saw what he was pointing at. The city lights twinkled like thousands upon thousands of stars, glowing like scattered gems. Her breath hitched and she turned towards Aiden, who was smiling and already taking pictures. So there really were stars below the night sky.

Aru leaned forward on the railing, letting the cold from the metal seep into her and ground her. She took a deep breath in, then let it out. She was going to confess, right here, right now. Fuck the speech she had spent hours on through blood, sweat, and tears. She would do this the typical Aru Shah way.

She opened her mouth, then quickly shut it. Nope, nope, nope. No way was she gonna tell Aiden she liked him. She didn't want to move to another continent, the ice cream here was to die for. Not to mention her mom would kill her.

Just when she was about to make an excuse and vamoose, Aiden turned to her. And in his eyes, Aru saw there were more stars out there than the ones in the sky and lighting up the city.

"You know, with you, every day is so strange and random. Like today, I planned on sitting back and relaxing until you came and challenged me to a last-minute hike. I find myself doing things I usually never do." Aru swallowed.

"Oh. Do you- do you dislike it?" Aiden thought for a moment.

"No." Aru took her time calming her mind and burying her negative thoughts, before sighing and blowing a strand of her hair out of her face.

"Well, I guess it's the same for me. Around you, every day becomes weird and bizarre and extraordinary and mystifying and every synonym in between. But I like those weird days. So, do you want to continue having weird days with me?" She asked, smiling despite her internal conflict.

Aiden looked at her in surprise, mouth opening slightly, causing Aru to laugh gently. "If you need a translation: I'm asking if you want to go out with me?" Welp, now you've done it. Time to skedaddle. She clenched her hands, ready to run to the nearest train that would get her off this planet when Aiden's stunned expression morphed into a gorgeous smile.

"Yes."

"... Uh?" Aiden chuckled softly at Aru's flabbergasted look.

"Yes, I would like to go out with you." She laughed in exhilaration and slight confusion.

"I hope you know what you are getting into," Aiden smirked, looking just as thrilled as Aru, before reaching over and squeezing her hand.

"I don't. But I can't wait to find out. Besides, isn't that what dating's about?" This earned another breathless laugh from Aru.

"Wise words, Wifey. You are learning how to smooth talk from the best, after all."

"Sure, whatever floats your boat, Shah." Aru scowled.

"Oh, shut up." Regardless, she didn't let go of his hand.

Again, let me know what you all think, and if I should do a part 3! Constructive criticism is welcome. And yes I think Aru will be the one to get down on one knee. This story was rushed so maybe not the best, plus I suck at confessions.

Tell us about Nyx :)

Hi! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to talk about my girl! ^^ Here are some facts about her:

She is the daughter of my antagonist Morena and her late husband, the head of a lower ranking noble family of the Ash Court

As younger of two daughters she normally wouldn’t have gotten the lessons of an heir, but since she adored learning and her older sister didn’t want to leave her out she was allowed to stick around most of the time

Which will come in handy one day, because now that her sister is dead Nyx will inherit the status of head of the family when her mother dies

Nyx can do magic! :)

she had a Keeper’s education (Keeper are something between scholars and fae druids), but dropped out shortly before she was finished

she is a very good listener, she has something about her that makes it easy for people to open up to her and talk their sorrows away

she is also a quiet person and really nice to be around, her presence was described as calming by many people (many of her co apprentices seemed her out before tests to calm their nerves xD)

her singing voice is really nice, her favorite song to sing is a ballad her sister taught her as a child, she likes to dance and sing but didn’t do either in quite a while

Nyx loves flowers and plants, especially lavender (it is also her favorite color, next to blue)

her favorite foods are honey pastries, she and her sister used to sneak them from the kitchen whenever the servants weren’t paying attention (or pretended not to pay attention)

Nyx is aro-ace! (Her sister once joked that Nyx’s greatest love were her books and she’s not too wrong about that)

her and Aiden will meet during the story and they’ll bond a bit, Nyx helps him out at some point, hoping he’ll help her stop her mother in return

because despite being deeply loyal to her mother (since she’s the only family Nyx has left), Nyx thinks what she does is wrong and she needs to be stopped, but Nyx doesn’t have the heart to do it alone

Nyx and Aiden actually have quite a lot in common (I would elaborate but that would be a spoiler xD)

she loves crystals and collects various gems, she also presses flowers and likes to read poetry!

Have you ever played Genshin Impact? I have a headcannon about Genshin-au!

For ones who doesn't know about the setting, all you should know is that there are seven fundamental elements: Anemo (Wind), Geo (Soil, rock,gem, metal,etc), Electro (Thunder, lightning), Dendro (Plants), Hydro (Water), Pyro (Fire) and Cyro (Ice and snow) each with "each with a corresponding Archon and their own nation that worships said Archon." ( From fandom wiki), when a person is acknowledged by Heavenly Principles (the known supreme force of the world), they will be gifted a Vision,which not only allows them to wield the elemental power but also have the qualificaton to be a Primordial God.

One (my own) hypothesis is that the elemental power it gifted is depend on the person's (most outstanding)character:

Anemo. With no persistent goals/ with goals far beyond one's reach

Geo. With a very persistent goal and makes alot of efforts to pursue it

Electro. Break from former status

Dendro A person with special wisdom

Hydro. A person who though experiences alot but still held his/her/their original aspiration

Pyro. Someone who have a deep passion in something, and it is often inherited from predecessors

Cyro Someone who stuck in a situation that cannot be broke out from (like bloodline and physical illness) but kept struggling

Therefore I have a theory for the Visions of Potatoes

For Hira, I'm sorry that I am not certain of her most outstanding trait, but I think her as Anemo or Hydro

Anyway, I think this is a good au to write about, and I'm ready to hear your conclusion about the vision of the Potatoes and 2nd Gen!

Hmm, I can't say that I have, but I have seen ads for Genshin Impact and this looks really interesting! It's like ATLA only the elements are more like Full Metal Alchemist. Let me see what I can do:

Kara gets her Pyro Vision the day she discovers Aru's existence. She finally found a chance at a family and was not about to let it go.

Mini gets her Geo Vision the day she finds out she's a Pandava. She goes through a day's worth of prep work to make sure she's ready but after a pep talk with her brother, she's ready to face the unknown with everything she has.

Brynne gets her Anemo Vision the day she got her scar and decided to leave her abusive mother. She doesn't know what future she's about to face or whether she'll achieve anything, but she'll definitely be better than the woman who birthed her.

Aru got her Electro Vision when she found out she was a Pandava and that everything she knew about mythology was real. She was no longer that liar in school trying to fit in with everyone, now she was a hero and she was going to prove it.

Nikita gets her Dendro Vision when Sheela tells her her first prophecy and she interprets that she was talking about the other Pandavas. When she found out her sister could see the future, she knew they had an edge on everybody and they had to be smart about how they used that advantage.

Sheela got her Hydro Vision when she saw her first prophecy and stayed determined to help Nikita prove they were worthy. They then decided rather than rush into battle, they would simply help Aru through the Dreamworld for now.

Aiden got his Pyro Vision the day his father left and he saw his mother in so much pain. He promised to find a way for them to move on and live in peace, with or without the other Apsaras' help.

Hira got her vision the day she met the others and found that her destiny was hers to make. At first it looked like Anemo because she couldn't see what she wanted, but then it changed to Hydro when she decided that despite everything, she was going to help everyone.

Rudy got his Cyro vision the day he stood up to Takshaka. After years of disdain due to being a Naga prince that was colorblind, he was determined to prove himself worthy of the throne.

📚 Mid-Year Freakout Tag 2022 📚

1. How many books have you read so far?

46! I've managed more in the first half of this year than all of last year!

2. What genres have you read?

I’ve pretty much just read Fantasy. I've read a couple of Romance, some Sci-Fi, and one Heist book!

3. Best book you’ve read so far in 2022

Favourites this year have been the Folk of the Air series by Holly Black, Pandora by Susan Stokes-Chapman, Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas, Portrait of a Thief by Grace D. Li, and the Skyward series by Brandon Sanderson!

4. Best sequel you’ve read so far in 2022

So far, the only sequels I've read have been when I've read the entire series in one hit. I'm awaiting a couple of sequels in the second half of the year, though.

5. New release you haven’t read yet, but want to

The Stardust Thief by Chelsea Abdullah, Ballad & Dagger by Daniel José Older, and Hotel Magnifique by Emily J. Taylor are the ones that immediately spring to mind. But the list never seems to stop, I buy books much faster than I can read them.

6. Most anticipated release for the second half of the year

Greywaren!! I've been putting off reading the Dreamer Trilogy until they're all out, but I'm planning on doing a full Raven Cycle re-read and then launching into the Dreamer books straight after. I'm also looking forward to The Lost Metal, which is the final book in Mistborn Era 2, but I'm definitely going to have to re-read those too, because I've forgotten the third book entirely.

7. Biggest disappointment

I've read some truly awful books this year. The biggest disappointment was definitely The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake. I was really looking forward to it, because it sounded perfect for me, but it was so badly written! Other books that didn't live up to the hype: Lore by Alexandra Bracken, and These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong.

8. Biggest surprise

Actually, The Cruel Prince!! I went into it really negatively, thinking it was going to be teen trash that I would hate, but it captivated me right from the start, and now I recommend it to everyone!

9. Underrated gems

Pandora by Susan Stokes-Chapman gets another shout out - I've seen hardly anyone talk about it, but I've been trying to get everyone I know to read it. Also, Tithe (and its sequels) by Holly Black. The Folk of the Air gets a lot of love, but the earlier books are just as good but get ignored.

10. Book that made you cry

The Queen of Nothing, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, Gallant, Cemetery Boys, probably like a dozen more.... I'm a crier!!

11. Book that made you happy

Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater! It's such a sweet, cutesy story, and sometimes it's nice to just fall in love.

12. Most beautiful book cover of a book you’ve read so far this year

Maybe Only a Monster by Vanessa Len. The UK cover is gorgeous. Honourable mentions to Pandora, King of Elfhame, and Skyward.

13. How are you doing with your year’s goals?

My goal this year is 72 books (6 per month) and I'm absolutely smashing it! Most months I've read more than six, so I'm well ahead of my target.

14. What books do you need to read by the end of the year?

These Hollow Vows, Ariadne, The King Must Die, Stalking Jack the Ripper, The King's Renegal, The Dark Tide, Heroes of Olympus, The Lost Metal, the Dreamer Trilogy, A Deadly Education, my full reading list is here and it is... lengthy.

Mega Man: Rising Heroes

Chapter 1: Hunting Robots

“Four Warriors of the Stars, united as one to expel the Nightmare. Should they fight for their world, or embrace the fall into endless darkness? Their choice will determine the fate of all.”

At Dr. Light’s Light Labs, Rock and his family are sleeping at nighttime until they hear a loud crash and explosion outside, which woke them up. Rock and the others checked what it was and saw a smoke in the distance. They headed to the field to see if it’s a meteor. But as they found an impact crater, it wasn’t a meteor. What they found is a large ancient damaged white robot with blue details that seems to be awake at first, but then passes out and is unable to wake up while being damaged.

Dr. Light was a bit concerned at first, but having a good heart in him, he wants to help and fix the robot. While Auto, Rock and Roll carried the broken robot to the Light Labs, Blues found a yellow gem that the robot dropped from his hand. The yellow gem is still glowing, Blues immediately realized that this is not a normal gem, it’s something much more and possibly supernatural.

Blues tells Light what he found and asks if they should probably put it safe in Light Labs just in case. Doctor Light agrees and feels that he should analyze what the yellow gem is if it could be too dangerous to use.

A few days later, after analyzing the mysterious robot and the yellow gem, Dr. Light is amazed to see the ancient techs in this ancient robot and he believes he could be created by aliens somewhere in space. But Light has no clue what exactly this yellow gem is or where it came from. It’s certainly not from Earth, but he could tell that it has some sort of powerful energy in it and knew they cannot allow Wily to have it. Who knows how dangerous this gem can be if it fell into the wrong hands like Wily.

Dr. Light would also need some help to fix the ancient robot since he has never seen, nor repair an ancient alien robot before. Especially with the ancient alien techs. So Roll calls Doctor Lucas Neil about what she and her family found and explains about it, and Lucas agrees and will be there to help tomorrow morning. He’s also bringing Aiden with him to help out in case they need a little help and he has a high intelligence like his father.

After that, Rock asked Dr. Light if they should hide the yellow gem somewhere in the lab in case something bad might happen, especially if Wily finds out and tries to steal it. Light agrees, and so they put the gem in the safe case where Light hid the Double Gear Systems.

At Lucas’s house, Emma came to talk to her father and was wondering if it was Roll calling.

Emma: Dad? Was that Roll?

Lucas: Yes, it was, Sweetpea. Roll was just telling me that Dr. Light needed my help for repairing the robot they found.

Emma: What kind of robot did they find?

Lucas: I’m not sure. She and her family have no idea what it is exactly, but she mentioned it might be an ancient alien robot that came from space. It may sound hard to believe, but I know they’re telling the truth. And maybe Aiden and I will be able to figure it out.

Emma: Really? That sounds amazing! An alien robot would be so cool to see. And it would be hard to convince anyone about that.

Lucas: *chuckles* Indeed. People would think we’re crazy.

Emma: Yeah. And I believe you and Aiden can do it. Both of you are great at fixing and building robots and technology stuff.

Lucas: Thank you, Emma. That’s very kind of you. Anyway, you should get some sleep. It’s almost 10pm.

Emma: Okay. Goodnight, Daddy.

Lucas: Goodnight, Emma.

………

[in the background, an eerie mysterious sounds plays as Aiden wakes up in a strange unknown place]

Aiden: Ow… *groans and rub his eyes* …Huh? *looks around* Uh… What…?

[Aiden sees that he’s in a creepy dark hallway and sees red lights shining to a large metal door in the distance, which kind of looks like a horror movie to be in.]

Aiden: …Wow. Nope. *turns around and walks away* Yeah, not dealing with that. Aaaand I have no idea where I’m going or where I am at this point. But I think I’ll figure it out somehow- WAAAAAAH!!!

Suddenly, Aiden somehow warped into another hallway, which frightened him a bit. Not sure what happened, but Aiden continues to find an exit until he sees something that shocks him as he enters a massive room. Having no clue of what it is, Aiden sees a gigantic creature that’s trapped inside of a crystal and seems to be alive, but is asleep.

For a moment, Aiden then questions what that is and wonders if he’s in some sort of a secret dark lab where the scientists were doing experiments with the giant creature. But then he heard someone’s voices behind the giant crystal, meaning that someone is here. Aiden knew he should run in case he gets caught and that he could be trespassing, but he was curious to know who they are and what they’re planning. So he checks to see who it is, and he sees “a robot with black armor with silver details” talking to an army wearing “black and dark gray armor with magenta details and an eye symbol” on their shoulder pad.

???: Lord Erebus wants you to capture as many robots as you can, and be sure no humans or robots sees you. We can’t allow anyone to know about us. Not yet. And if someone did see you, just annihilate them, or bring them here instead. Whatever you pick. Understood?

All guards: Yes, sir! *salutes him*

Aiden: (What the… I should probably get out of here before- ) *steps a broken glass*

*Crack*

???: Huh? Who’s there?!

Aiden: Oops. Uh… Hello… *smiles and waves his hand awkwardly*

???: Oh… Hello there. I didn’t know we have someone new here today. I suppose you were curious to know what happens next, right?

Suddenly, the eyes appear on walls, ceiling and the floor. Many armies’ eyes began to glow, and the dark robot began to come closer and closer towards Aiden.

???: You must be confused, aren’t you? What this is all about and stuff? *chuckles evilly* Well… You’ll find out very soon.

Aiden: Uh- N-No, I uh… I just need to head back home and I don’t know how I got here. I didn’t mean to interrupt or anything, so I’ll just go and find an exit-

???: Ah. Well that’s a shame. I was hoping you’d stay a little longer, “brother.”

Aiden: Wha…?

*Aiden…? Aiden.*

Aiden: Huh? Hello? Who’s-

*Aiden! Aiden, wake up. Aiden…!*

Slate: Aiden!

Aiden: Aah! Wha… Slate?

Slate: Hey, Aiden. Are you alright?

Aiden: Uh… Y-Yeah, I’m fine. I think I just had a weird dream. What time is it?

Slate: It’s 7:20 in the morning.

Aiden: Oh, then I should get up now. Doctor Light needed some help with something.

Slate: Well, anyway, Margaret and I made pancakes for breakfast. Yuki and Emma are outside playing, and I’ll be sure to take Emma to school while you and Lucas are at Light Labs.

Aiden: Okay. Thanks, Slate.

After that, Lucas and Aiden are now helping Dr. Light at his lab and they were fascinating to see an ancient robot. Doctor Light explains about it, even explaining about the yellow gem they found. Both Lucas and Aiden swear their oath to not to tell anyone about the yellow gem in case Wily finds out. 

With their help (and also being very careful), it took about 2 weeks to repair the ancient robot, but they finally finished repairing the robot. And right now, they are recharging the battery to him, so the robot will be awake tomorrow. Rock then asked Aiden about how Yuki is doing. Aiden tells him that Yuki is alright, and that maybe they can bring Yuki to visit and help find his family.

After Aiden and Lucas went back to home, Rock wonders if they should armor up before he wakes up because they’re not sure if the robot is a good guy or a threat to anyone. So he and sibling and their companions need to be ready just in case.

The next day, in the afternoon, the ancient robot begins to wake up and sees that he’s in the lab. He feels a little lightheaded at first, and then sees that his left hand is different. He notices something different about his body and then sees the reflection of himself, realizing that his whole body looks different now. He starts to wonder if he’s dreaming, but after closing his eyes a few times, he now knows this isn’t a dream. He then heard someone’s voices after they entered the room.

Auto: Whoa! Uh… Hey there. How’ve you been…?

???: Who are you?! Where am I?!

Auto: Now, hold on. I-I know you’re confused and all, but try to calm down a bit, and we can talk-

???: What did you do to me? And… where is it?

Auto: Huh?

???: Where did you put the gem?!

Mega Man: Stop! Don’t you dare hurt our friend!

[The mystery robot stopped and first meets the Blue Bomber and his family. He wasn’t sure if these people are trustworthy or not, but he didn’t want to fight anyone, so he put his weapons down and asked.]

???: (A child… I sense a strong power and a noble heart in him…) Who are you? What exactly did you do to me…?

Mega Man: I’m Mega Man, and also Rock. These people are my family. Blues. Roll. Doctor Light. Auto. Rush. Tango. Beat. And Eddie… While you were passed out, Dr. Light and his friends were able to repair you, at least they did their best to restore and fix you.

Dr. Light: Yes. You may have a different design now, but you’re still the same person. We were able to keep your personality and abilities remain in your core, so that it won’t alter you.

???: I see…

Roll: Don’t worry about it, okay? We’re not here to fight you either. We just wanted to make sure you’re fully repaired.

???: Thank you. I am grateful for what you did.

Roll: You’re very welcome, sir. So… what’s your name?

???: My name is “Duo”. I’m a Star Marshal, the protector of my people and a member of the Warrior of Auroria.

Auto: Wait, you’re from Auroria? Is that where you came from?

Duo: Uh… Yes. How did you know what that is…?

Proto Man: Well, this may sound hard to believe, but we have a friend who is also from Auroria. So you must be Duo, the Magnificent that he told us about.

Duo: Wait… Is that someone named Trio or Quartet?

Mega Man: Trio and Quartet…?

Dr. Light: No. I’m very sorry. I don’t think we could recall those people you mentioned.

Duo: Oh…

Proto Man: …Are they your friends?

Duo: They’re my brothers. I uh… thought it might be them. But…

[Proto Man sees Duo showing his sadness, knowing that he really missed his brothers. He felt empathy for him, so he tried to console him a little. Duo still felt the grief in himself, but he appreciated that.]

Auto: Hey, uh… I don’t mean to interrupt, but… You asked about the gem you mentioned?

Duo: Yes. My apologies. I do not mean to threaten you. I promise I wasn’t trying to harm you, it’s just… I just want to know if it’s safe or if they have been stolen, or…

Dr. Light: Do not worry. They are hidden in my lab safely. I’ll show you.

After that, Doctor Light brings the yellow gem to Duo, showing that it’s safe and has not been used for anything yet. Duo is relieved, and after Light gave the yellow gem back to him, he now knows that Dr. Light and his family are not a threat, nor are they evil. Duo thanked them for repairing him again and for keeping the Yellow Gem safe. He apologized for how he acted after he woke up, but they told him that’s okay and that it’s understandable about meeting people you don’t know.

Duo then explained that the yellow gem is called Etherea Song and that it has unlimited power created by Aurorian’s ancestors. He tells them that there are four of them representing the four kingdoms of Auroria and were only meant to show a big inspirational moment of unity, giving life for nature, creating Aurorian’s technology and sharing light with others. But one of his companions chose the path of darkness using the forbidden spell and turned against his own friends.

Duo explains everything about what happened to his home and the Spirits, failing to save his brothers and his people, about fighting against Erebus, and how he managed to escape. He tells them that if Etherea Songs fell into the wrong hands, it would cause so much destruction and chaos on everyone and everything and could possibly destroy planets. If Erebus uses/takes all four Etherea Songs’ power, then everyone will be in grave danger and their world will turn into eternal darkness or be destroyed.

Suddenly, a circle blue energy beam appeared on the wall and opened a portal as it grew larger. Mega Man and the others then heard screaming in the portal, and then it was Emma, Yuki, Lucas and Margaret who came out through the portal. They were surprised at first, but then they noticed Lucas, Margaret and Emma are covered with cuts and bruises, while Yuki’s left shoulder is bleeding and his back leg is injured.

Roll is very worried and asks what happened. But Yuki, showing his scared expression, was shaking and couldn’t speak while feeling scared. Lucas and Margaret wanted to tell them, but so much has happened so quickly and didn’t know how to explain what happened at first. Emma’s crying and tells Roll and the others that they were attacked by unknown black robots, and both Aiden and Slate have been kidnapped. Then she couldn’t speak properly while crying, and Yuki begins to cry, too. Roll along with Lucas and Margaret tries their best to comfort Emma and Yuki.

After a while, they were able to comfort them. And Yuki, feeling a bit calm, heals Emma, Margaret, Lucas and himself. With that, Lucas tells the group and explain what happened as the flashback begins.

They were with Aiden, Slate, and Firestorm at home until there were many “black and dark gray knight armor with magenta details” who appeared out of nowhere and attacked the Nature Scenery Lab. Firestorm tried to stop as best he could, but he got caught by a large electrical net and they sealed his snout from using his flamethrower.

Then Slate battles the Black Army and tries to save Firestorm, while Aiden helps Lucas, Margaret, Emma and Yuki to escape. But somehow the Black Army managed to find them so quickly. They even managed to kidnap Aiden with an electrical bolas, and knocked him out, leaving Lucas, Margaret and Emma defenseless.

After the two robots took Aiden away as they warped, the rest were about to fire at Emma and her parents to kill them. But then Yuki uses his plant and ice magic to protect them and stop the mysterious black robots. He wrapped the black army up with vines and freezed few of them, but several armies dodged his attack.

After that, Yuki roars with a Sonic Roar, which knocks all armies down and creates a portal. Emma and her parents were surprised to see Yuki somehow created a portal with an Enhanced Roar. And that’s how Yuki, Emma, Lucas and Margaret managed to escape.

With the flashback ended, Mega Man and the group were shocked. Margaret describes what the unknown robots look like, and Duo knows who and what they are. Duo said that they are Erebus’s Black Army who attacked and destroyed all four kingdoms and his people. They were one of the most dangerous robots alongside Erebus and his two loyal followers. Yuki starts to tremble in fear and tells the others that those robots were the ones who were hunting and capturing his siblings back at Auroria. He never thought he would see them again, but now the Black Armies are here. Yuki believes they are here to capture him, but he doesn’t know why they captured Slate, Aiden, and Firestorm if they only want him.

Duo had no clue either at first, but then asked how Yuki escaped and got here on Earth. Yuki tells him that he found one of Etherea Songs in the woods and somehow the Blue Gem has given all of its power to him. He didn’t know how or why, but Yuki said he was able to create a portal and that’s how he got here on Earth. Duo and the others then realized that the Black Army weren’t here for Yuki, they were here for the Blue Etherea Song’s power. Since Yuki and Duo are here, and Erebus finally found them, that would mean both humans and robots on Earth will be in grave danger.

Suddenly, someone rang the doorbell and as Auto opened the door, it was Doctor Mikhail Cossack who came along with Bright Man, Drill Man, Dust Man, Dive Man, Skull Man and Tundra Man.

Auto: Whoa! Dr. Cossack?

Dr. Light: Mikhail? What are you doing here? *notice the tears in Mikhail’s eyes* Wha… What happened…?

Dr. Cossack: Thomas… We need your help. Someone kidnapped my daughter and three of my sons.

Dr. Light, Mega Man and Roll: What?!

Li Shen: Dr. Light! I apologize if I’m interrupting, but I just need your help to repair Torch Man.

Dr. Cossack: Li?

Tundra Man: *gasp* Torch! W-What happened?! Who…

Torch Man: I’ll be fine. I just… *groans* needed repairs.

Dr. Light: Oh my word…

Roll: What in the world is happening right now…?

Mega Man: …Blues. Do you think we may not be ready for something more dangerous than Wily?

Proto Man: …I’m not sure, but… We gotta at least try and hope this kind of madness will be stopped for good.

And then Cut Man and Ice Man came and told them that they got thrown up to the sky by “a bull-like robot”. They even mentioned that Guts Man, Stone Man and Concrete Man have been captured by Black Armies. Pedro Astil came along with many of their friends (and the Robot Masters) who are here for the same reason, especially Dr. Meadow and her three daughters. Roll and Emma noticed that Nora is not with her mom and her sisters, which meant something terrible happened to her.

A few days ago, Kalinka, Pharaoh Man and Ring Man were helping Toad Man to plant new flowers for the forest since it’s spring. After they finished, they were being ambushed by several Black Armies and the two Stardroids named Venus and Saturn. Pharaoh Man and Ring Man hold the enemies off as best they could for Kalinka and Toad Man to run, but both Pharaoh and Ring along with Kalinka and Toad have been captured.

In the sky, Gyro Man was just flying around taking a nice moment to see the view of the mountains, the forest, and the city until he saw an explosion down there in the woods. He flew down to see what was going on, but then he got hit by a lightning blast.

Gyro Man: OW! *groans* What the-? Who-?

Jupiter: Think fast!

Gyro Man: ?!

The two began to battle in the sky. While attacking each other, both Gyro Man and Jupiter crash landed into the woods and continue to fight each other with their attacks. After a short battle, Jupiter manages to beat Gyro Man with his Dark Power and caught him with an electrical net.

Meanwhile, Guts Man, Concrete Man and Stone Man finished working on a dam construction project. They meet with Ice Man and Cut Man who came for a little visit, but after a moment, they heard a loud crash nearby and saw a lightning blast.

The group were about to check to see what it was, but suddenly they were attacked by The Black Army. The armies blocked their way and had the Robots Masters surrounded. And then “a robot with black armor with silver details” appeared and asked to follow them so that no one would get hurt. Guts Man and the others know something’s off and have their suspicions against the mysterious dark robot and the army, so they refuse to listen to him. The dark robot was very disappointed about it, and then ordered the Black Army to attack.

As the battle began, Guts Man and his team managed to destroy all of the Black Army, but the mysterious dark robot managed to damage both Stone Man and Concrete Man with his sword and his speed. While both Stone and Concrete have been caught by electrical nets, Guts Man uses all of his abilities as he could to distract the dark robot. With that, Ice Man and Cut Man combined their attack and used the opportunity to ultimately damage the Dark Robot and pin him in a tree with the combination of Rolling Cutter and Ice Slasher.

The Robot Masters won their victory at first, but then the dark robot chuckles evilly and makes an evil smile under his mask. Guts Man and the others were confused at first until they got electrocuted by electrical bolas and paralyzed by someone from behind. The leader of the Stardroids named “Terra” who was hiding in the shadows along with Uranus and several Black Amries, ensuring if it all goes to plan in order to capture the Robot Masters. As the two soldiers are breaking the ice and helping the dark robot out, he chuckles and congratulates Terra that he had a good shot capturing the Robot Masters.

???: Well done, Terra! I will admit, I’m impressed. You’ve been improving your powers very well. Then again, you and Sunstar are the most powerful robots.

Terra: …I did my best from what Erebus taught me with this power, Commander.

???: You know you can call me “Ra Thor”. No need to call me “Sir” or “Commander.” *grunts* Ow… Well, anyway. This will take a while for me to get repairs, since these Robot Masters fought well and managed to damage me. So I’m putting you in charge. Make sure you capture as many Robot Masters as you and your brothers can. And remember to NOT get caught by any humans or robots. Is that clear?

Terra: I’ll do that, Ra Thor. And I’ll make sure we don’t get caught.

Ra Thor: Of course you will. You and your brothers are very good at doing exactly what you’re told.

Terra: …

Uranus: Sir, what about these two?

Ice Man: Let us go, you jerks!

Cut Man: You’ll pay for this!

Ra Thor: Hmmm… Throw them away. We don’t need those weak robots. Lord Erebus only wants the strongest and powerful Robot Masters on Earth, so… I’d get rid of them. Throw them up to the sky or whatever.

Ice Man: What?!

Cut Man: Hey, wait a second! What exactly do you want from them?!

Uranus: Sorry, but it’s none of your concern. And our lord command us, so… See ya. *throws Cut Man and Ice Man into the sky*

Cut Man and Ice Man: AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH- !!!

Guts Man: NO!!! Cut Man! Ice Man! *growls angrily* You! YOU-!

Ra Thor: Oh be quiet. You’ll thank me later once you meet our lord. He’s been wanting to meet you and the other Robot Masters after all. You’ll be very useful to him someday. Believe me. *chuckles evilly*

[the scene fades into black and ends with Ra Thor’s eyes glowing in the dark.]

The way I SCREAMED!

I just went on an emotional roller coaster ride reading this new drabble you dropped! I love that Kinsley wanted to prove herself and really had to look deep down to her soul to get this album out. The part that made my heart ache in a emotional way was when Brooklyn wanted her to come home to give her her three kisses to keep the monsters away. I know it had to be hard for Kinsley not to be home with her babies. Like that got me. I loved her talking to her dad and seeing his perspective on her being a producer as well as just a regular person. I loved her interactions with Mason. Kinsley knows that her man is her rock, and that he has her back with everything! Also, when she said that she’s gonna go home and have her husband fuck her which resulted in her becoming pregnant with Aiden…. Girl I had the biggest smile on my face! We know what she was doing when she got pregnant weighed in! Lol! I just loved how we got to see her album Destiny basically form from start to finish. And don’t get me started on her winning all those awards because our girl deserved them!

Thank you so much for writing this! It has been a hard day, but to come home and get on your blog and find this gem made my day. I hope we get more drabbles of the Kim family! You know I love them! Great job Shay! Now I’m going to read it again! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Other things - Daily Diarrhea Diary - Decent. CPAP timer - 0.0 0.0// 7.4 0.0 Night before last - i did not wear it because reasons. Last night, i wore it, even with the gunk my chest was gunking. Tbf the gunk was kiiiiinda my fault? You see, i get the hiccups really often when i’m eating a peanut butter sammich. And that’s what happened. So, i had a big mouth full of peanut butter sammich, hiccups - and decided to take a Big Drink Of Red Bull. This did not go well. i hiccupped just as i was swallowing and choked, like, oof. Aspirated Red Bull, couldn’t breath, it was bad, eventually eventually got it all down the right pipe but oof i had a lot of trouble just... breathing without coughing. So. Yea. That was kinda rough. Had my Therapist appointment today. Went well, apologized for lying-by-omission - he didn’t even remember, so that’s cool. Is fine, still apologized. He’s upping my prozac from 10 -> 20, see if that helps with my overwhelmed attacks. ((It probably won’t, they’re meltdowns, but hey maybe it’ll take the edge off a little...)) It at least helps with my OCD tics so. That’s nice. And... yea that was that. Quick and easy appointment, hate that i have to waste gas to go in and talk to him for 5 minutes, but it is what it is. He suggested i do walkies more often. So. We’re gonna try that. That should be fun! >_>;

it’s defined as “strictly women who strictly love women” and is meant to be “what lesbian Should Mean” and excludes nb lesbians and stuff. which is transphobic, and the way the creator talks and the terms they use raise a lot of red flags in general

so yeah, again, I wouldn’t give it the time of day. it’s just a small group of transphobic folk
