Interestingly, the Zionists and their allies seem to think it matters more than you do (if you think the above). If you listen to Sami Hamdi's brilliant recent anlaysis, EVERY bit counts. Your stupid little display picture on FB counts. Your posts count. Your stories count. The "like" count and "comments" in favour/against a particular clip count.

There's a reason Israel wants Meta and the tech companies on their side. There's a reason they are so petrified of online public opinion. There's a reason they're so scared of mainstream journalists taking up Muslim talking points on Palestine and going with them.

It's because it matters; it works. It makes influential people all over the world begin to question if this "Israel till death" mantra is workable, viable, or even morally right.

It's slow, it takes decades. But every little bit can and will count in the final analysis.

In Salahuddeen's days, do you not think people despaired? Do you not think they felt helpless? And alas, look what happened.

So the next time you feel lame and hopeless, just think "I need at least an answer in front of Allah". Then, yes, rise in Tahajjud. Read Quran. Give more charity.

But also get active. Agitate at work. Agitate at school. Tell them about our cause. Tell them about our ummah and people. Tweet. Reshare. Comment. Troll zionists on Twitter (It has a HUGE impact!).

Just don't do nothing. Don't sit there like a hippo doing nothing. Move, shake, work. Even if it is small. At least you'll stand in front of Allah with something. He already knows the result - he just wants to see if you'll do something. And yes, in the final analysis, it will have some impact, somewhere, somehow.

Invaliditas Imam Perempuan; Catatan Singkat Tadarus Karya Kiai Ali Mustafa Yaqub

Sekitar 17 tahun yang lalu, masyarakat dunia khususnya umat muslim dibuat resah dengan adanya berita media massa terkait imam perempuan dalam sholat Jum'at yang terjadi di Amerika pada 18 Maret 2005. Peristiwa ini diaktori oleh Dr. Amina Wadud (1952) seorang asisten profesor Studi Islam Virginia Commonwealth University.

Dalam peristiwa itu, perempuan berdarah Afro-Amerika tersebut memerani dirinya sebagai Khatibah sekaligus menjadi imam sholat Jum'at di gereja Katedral di Sundram Tagore Gallery, 137 Greene Street, New York dengan jumlah jamaah sekitar 100 orang yang terdiri dari kaum laki-laki dan perempuan.

Namun ternyata, di balik peran yang dimainkan oleh Amina Wadud didapati adanya aktor intelektual lainnya yang bermain peran di belakangnya. Dia adalah seorang wanita keturunan India yang bernama Asra Q. Nomani, mantan wartawati Wall Street Journal sekaligus pendiri kelompok Muslim Women's Freedom Tour, sebuah kelompok yang memperjuangkan pembebasan wanita muslimat.

Asra Q. Nomani ternyata bukan hanya wanita penggagas sholat berjamaah dengan imam perempuan, melainkan ia juga aktor yang mempraktekkan hal tersebut. Ia melakukannya pada tanggal 23 Maret 2005 di ruang Pusat Riset Studi Wanita Universitas Brandies, Waltham Massachusetts sebagai imam sholat isya yang mana jamaahnya terdiri dari 2 pria dan 3 wanita.

Merespon peristiwa yang terjadi pada waktu itu, terjadilah pro kontra di kalangan umat muslim sendiri. Ada sebagian kalangan umat muslim yang merespon hal ini dengan positif karena berlandaskan dengan Hadis Ummu Waraqah yang mereka jadikan sebagai landasan dibolehkannya wanita menjadi imam untuk makmum laki-laki. Dan ada juga yang dengan tegas menolak peristiwa tersebut, salah satunya Prof. Ali Mustafa Yaqub, MA.

Dari permasalahan yang ada, Kiai Ali terdorong kuat untuk mengkaji permasalah tersebut guna memberikan informasi yang lebih lanjut kepada seluruh umat muslimin dengan menulis buku yang diberi nama "Imam Perempuan". Dalam bukunya ini, kiai Ali memaparkan dengan keilmuan yang begitu dalam namun dibalut dengan gaya bahasa yang mudah dipahami oleh masyarakat.

Meskipun di sana banyak ulama yang mengecap Al-Walid ibn Jumai' sebagai rawi yang kredibel, ternyata ada ulama lain seperti Ahmad ibn Hanbal dan Imam Abu Dawud yang beranggapan bahwa Al-Walid adalah perawi yang kredibel akan tetapi kedhabitannya kurang. Bahkan Ibnu Hibban menyatakan bahwa periwayatan Al-Walid tidak pernah dibarengi dengan periwayatan-periwayatan orang yang tsiqah, jenis periwayatan seperti ini sangatlah buruk, oleh karenanya periwayatannya tidak dapat dijadikan hujjah.

Jika ditinjau dalam kaidah ilmu hadis yang mengatakan apabila terdapat Ta'dil (penilaian kredibel) dan jarh (penilaian tidak kredibel) pada seorang rawi, maka penilaian yang dikedepankan adalah penilaian jarh secara mutlak meskipun jumlah ta'dilnya lebih banyak daripada jumlah jarhnya.

Berdasarkan kaidah tersebut, rawi yang bernama Al-Walid ibn Jumai' dinilai dhoif, sehingga secara otomatis hadis Ummu Waroqah dinyatakan dhoif dan tidak bisa dipakai sebagai dalil.
