People are posting u o system cringe, take care /gen
We've gotten a couple asks about this recently so we're gonna use this one to respond
We very honestly do not care if we end up there. Being a system online is going to get you on that subreddit regardless of how your system functions, what you post, etc etc
Fakeclaimers opinions mean nothing to us, and while we do understand the gesutre of letting us know we've been posted, it doesn't bother us and we'd rather not receive asks about it
Thank you for looking out for us, but we've learned to just avoid reddit as a whole and ignore whatever bullshit they put out lol
Fakeclaimers are never going to think we're real, most the subreddit doesn't even believe in the disorder, and those that do are so severely undereducated or misinformed on it they might as well not believe in the disorder
So we don't care about what goes on in that subreddit

Autospec culture is!
Hello! This is a culture is blog for identities under the autospec umbrella! I couldn't find one, so here one is! For those unaware of what autospec is, it's "experiencing some form of attraction towards oneself, exclusively or not". This is viewed by some, but not all, autospec people as an aspec identity!
This blog is accepting of all autospec experiences and identities, and encourages asks about all forms of autospec experiences. We do not tolerate exclusionism here, and discourse is banned. If you send media asks, please provide image descriptions if you're able to! (if needed I'll add proper rules here, but I really hope I don't need to)
Also, if you're questioning being autospec or have any questions feel free to send them too! Me or my followers might be able to help.
Hi! I'm tagging some culture is blogs I know are active in hope of spreading this blogs reach! No pressure to reblog, if you want untagging please let me know:

Welcome Post
This blog is inclusive of everyone who has a self-dx! All submissions should start with "Self dx/diagnosed culture is" (or a more specific version, such as "self dx autistic culture is").
I will ignore any posts asking me to diagnose them (as I'm not qualified), and I request that no one ask for help in self-diagnosis either. If I can find reliable resources, I will link them below, under the cut.
Feel free to vent, but let me now so I can tag it appropriately. If you would like, you may also request that reblogs and/or comments be turned off for that post.
Anons are welcome!

can we ask what monoconscious means ? we've never heard that term before :)
monoconscious means the system shares consciousness, partially or fully, but usually fully! it has a different feeling for every person but for us (a median system with a blanketself) it feels like one person putting on different masks (entire identities, including but not limited to names, pronouns, opinions, aggression level, internal self, etc.), just- involuntarily and for no reason

I just wanted to say I really love seeing another pro-para 0bj3ctu/m. I often feel so hated by 0bj3ctu/m for my "other" (I don't really consider it a paraphilia though it technically is, just my personal identification since it's more than that to me.) paraphilias/attraction. And then the other paraphilias cannot comprehend liking 0bj3ctz so I'm now the "weirdo" / "mentally ill" or they assume my 0bj3ctu/m and my other are linked so I'm "objectifying" (meaning in a bad way) other attracted group. When the only "link" is my brain happens to have those attractions. I'm not attracted to X paraphilia because of Y paraphilia or attracted to Y paraphilia because of X paraphilia. I'm not attracted to X or Y because of whatever reason as far as I'm concerned (haven't seen any shared traits beyond I just happen to love both). It's just how my brain appears to be wired to be. So. This was half a vent and half a "thanks for being openly pro-para 0bj3ctu/m"!
thank you!! it is so weird seeing objectums/objectophiles so anti other paraphilias tbh
Also please do not censor words like that in asks, it messes up Tumblrs filtering functions and can be hard to read. We do not care if our posts end up in searches for things, other folks can block us and move on if they do not like what we post.

Hello! this is the same anon from before that asked about Atypical Dysphoria! I forgot to add a question. Could you please describe what Xenic and Species dysphoria are? In detail, if possible. I apologize if I'm disturbing, again, and thank you if you respond!
Xenic dysphoria is a form of gender dysphoria that xenic or xenogendered people may experience. For example, if someone relates their gender to bunnies and has xenic dysphoria, they may try to present in a way that gives bunny vibes, like with bunny-themed clothes and makeup.
Species dysphoria is dysphoria over your species. Many alterhumans experience this. For example, someone with species dysphoria over not being a cat may wear cat ears and exhibit cat-like behavior or meow.

Isn't almost everyone autospec?? Like unless someone hates how their body looks/feels, doesn't everyone see themself as kinda hot? Or does it show up more for people who don't identify/feel a personal connection to their body?
(I'm aroacespec and experience a lot of depersonalization and derealization due to trans and chronic pain reasons, so maybe that's why this seems like the default to me)
Hi anon! While yes, most people experience some sort of affection and/or appreciation for themselves and their body (I'm avoiding using love here for my loveless friendos), for me this goes way past that and is very much love and attraction towards myself.
I feel happiness when sexual stuff involves just me. I see myself and can't help but be incredibly attracted to myself. I don't feel love and attraction this strongly with anyone else; I do have a (in-system) partner, but I'm admittedly attracted to cir less than I'm attracted to myself (obviously ve knows this, we're all polyam, it's cool)
Of course, this is just my experiences with being autosexual! This is a very wide umbrella and I think it's impossible to sum up a "main" experience. My system, for example, is autospec because of our plurality; we consider ourselves somewhat the same person due to how we work and that means we see relationships between ourselves as inherently autospec.
If anyone feels like I'm forgetting something or want to add on feel free! I'm just one guy trying to explain this lol - Juno

I'm trace and transharmful, am I ok to int or would you rather me not? /gen
We do not care if you do or dont, if it's not relevant to the blog it does not matter.
We do ask for those things to not be mentioned in asks unless it's directly tied to what this blog is about though, let's keep things in topic.
edit: tumblr desktop dashboard on mobile is fucked. I thought this was my para culture blog. So taking that back, do not interact with us on here ever again. You can send in asks to our sideblog @parasol-culture-is but not here and do not follow us either.

hii i don’t know if non-asks are allowed but i was wondering if some monocon systems are like us?
so we’re a median system, so not everyone is like. distinct? but most of us r fictives. but the thing we’ve been struggling with the most is that we’re monoconsious. i don’t know if any systems work like this,, but reassurance that they do exist would be nice :,) so, for us, it’s like everyone is always there, but not 100%. like i wouldn’t say i’m _ right now, but they’re also not fully gone in headspace (we don’t even have one). it’s also hard bc it’s just the constant subconsciously telling ourselves we’re faking since we share memories, conscious, we don’t get amnesia at all (besides emotional!) and i was wondering if some monocon systems work the same,, it’s almost like everyone is a little 5% there but someone’s 95% there then when we figure out we switched whoever was the 95% turns back into a 5% (sorry if that’s so confusing, we’re new to being a system and the imposter syndrome is just. evil rn)
also, whenever we switch, we almost never even tell. usually we can only tell if our likes have changed (someone fronts earlier who just absolutely hates our main spotify playlist apparently?) or personality, ect, which makes it hard on identifying who i am 99.9% of the time. i wish our consciousness could just, get a break :,).
(also, is it normal for monocon systems to not have a headspace or be able to talk to one another? none of us can communicate internally once so ever)
sorry if this is so long D:
Id say thats kinda similar to our experience, so dont worry, you're not alone in that!
we dont have a headspace and cant talk to eachother either, most of our communication is thought or emotion bleeding or just knowing "this headmate would like that" etc. the sharing memories and consciousness and lack of amnesia past emotional is the most common form of monoconscious we know (and one we experience). like even if I have emotional disconnect from it I can remember the exomemories of, say, the ghostface in our system, even if Im not him right now.
the percentage experience is a new way to describe it to us, and we wouldnt say we experience that part, as Im sure I am NOT Velvet or Peony right now. but I wouldnt say it's unheard of! median and monoconscious systems are still under-researched compared to multiple and polyconscious ones.
your experience is valid, and I hope you figure this stuff out and feel more comfortable in your identity. if anyone else would like to help anon feel more comfortable by sharing their experience, feel free to!

good evening! I'm really sorry if I'm disturbing you. I am really new to learning about Atypical Dysphoria, and I think I have it as well! Is there a possibility you could give me a detailed response about what Atypical Dysphoria is (and possibly, if there are any specific criteria to have it)? I have looked all over tumblr and google and I haven't really found anything that answer any of my questions. I would really appreciate it if you responded!
Atypical dysphoria is any form of dysphoria that is not typical (eg binary gender dysphoria or rsd). It's very subjective, so there is no real "requirement" for your dysphoria to be atypical.
I'll use myself as an example: I have a lot of dysphoria over not having certain piercings. To ease this, I will buy a lot of fake piercings and draw myself with a ton of piercings. This is not a form of dysphoria that is typically seen, so it is considered atypical dysphoria.
