May I please request a oneshot where yami's squad member (y/n) turns into a baby / child (whichever is better), and brings her to the captains ' meeting as he has no other choice? (y/n) calls everyone dad / mom and it makes them all super soft for her? like yami is first annoyed then softens up, nozel is straight up rude as usual but everyone glares at him for that (cause they're so protective of her already uwu) and he ends up being soft for her too. idk, this was a 2 am thought im sorry!! thank you for taking requests 😭💞

Yami didn’t know how this happened, she was fine when she left on a mission with Asta and Noelle, but when they all came back she was a baby! When he asked them what the hell happened Asta and Noelle explained that it was the bad guys magic; he could make people really old, or really young!

Yami had ordered them to take her back to the mage and force him to change her back but Noelle explained that they tried, but the mage said his spell would only wear off in 24 hours. So for now…they were stuck with her being a toddler!

She was still able to walk at least, talking on the other hand…well she was only able to say a handful of words, mainly ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy’. Which kind of bothered Yami since he didn’t want to be called ‘daddy’ by a member of his squad, but she wasn't really eager to learn ‘Yami’ at the moment he would have to deal with it for now.

Yami fully intended to leave her at the squad as he went to a Captain’s meeting, but when Yami began to ask who wanted to be in charge of their toddler squadmate every single Black Bull scattered like leaves in a gust of wind.

Which was how he ended up in his current situation; in the Captain’s meeting room, with his toddler squadmate sitting in his lap, as the other Captain’s ‘oohed’ and ‘awwed’ over her.

“ Aw look how adorable she is! I didn’t know you had a baby Yami!” Dorothy said as she began to use her Glamour World magic to create small toys to keep her entertained. Charlotte crossed her arms as she looked at the child.

‘Yami had a child?! Why didn’t he say anything? Does that mean he’s married or has a committed partner? Or is the child a product of a one night stand? Yami doesn’t seem to be the type to do that though, so he must have someone! Why didn’t he say anything, I’m so jealous of her, why didn’t I confess to him sooner?!’ Charlotte’s mind raced as she stared at the little girl, she didn’t look like Yami, but that could easily be explained away. The girl looked at Charlotte with wide eyes before she smiled brightly and reached her arms out towards the Briar mage.

“ Mommy?” She asked cutely before her smile widened. “ Mommy!”

Charlotte and Dorothy’s hearts quickly melted and they both couldn’t help but say ‘How Cute~!’. Yami sighed and shook his head.

“ The Prickly Princess ain’t your mom, and I’m not her dad. She’s a member of my squad who got turned into a toddler on a mission earlier. The other brats took off running when I asked them to baby sit her.” Yami explained as he held the small girl still. She looked up at him with a pout but did stop moving.

“ I see, so how long will she be like this?” Fuegoleon asked as he placed a thoughtful hand under his chin, the girl looked at him for a moment before her bright smile returned.

“ Daddy!” She shouted brightly and with a giggle, Fuegoleon’s brows raised in surprise and a small smile appeared on his face.

“ I’m sorry to say that I’m not your father little one.” Fuegoloen told her gently as he patted her on the head, the little girl pouted.

“ She seems to only be able to say ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy’, which makes sense since she’s only like 1 or 2.” Yami said in an unsure tone, Rill tilted his head.

“ I think she’s closer to a year and a half! Babies are generally able to walk by the time they’re one, and can talk in short sentences by the age of two, so logically she should be somewhere in between since she can walk but not really talk!” Rill said thoughtfully as he stared at the young girl.

“ How the hell do you know that kid?” Jack asked with a frown and Rill suddenly laughed sheepishly.

“ Me and my squad sometimes volunteer at the orphanages in the city and the sisters explained it to me when I tried to have a group of kids tell me about their paintings.” Rill explained and the others nodded.

The little girls eyes moved to Nozel, who was sitting in his seat with his eyes closed and arms crossed, ignoring her effectively.

“ Daddy…?” She asked hesitantly and Nozel’s eyes shot open and he glared coldly at her.

“ I’m not your father, and I wish you would refrain from calling me that.” He told the girl, his tone as cold as ice, the little girl jumped for a moment before her eyes welled up with tears.

The girl began to cry and wail at the top of her lungs, everyone glared openly at Nozel.

“ What the hell did you do that for braid boy?!” Yami asked as he and the others tried to console the toddler and Nozel’s eyes widened a bit.

“ Geez Nozel she’s just a baby, can’t you be just a little nicer with her?” Dorothy asked as she put her hands on her hips and had a angry look on her face. Nozel’s cheeks turned a shade of pink and he looked away.

“ Don’t listen to him brat,” Yami said to the toddler as he gently patted her head. “ You can call of us ‘mom’ and ‘dad’ as much as you like. And ignore him.” Yami instructed them as his hand moved away from her head and began to wipe away her tears.

“ Yeah! Nozel’s just jealous because he doesn’t have a cool baby of his own!” Rill said as he crossed his arms, and Jack looked over at the Silver Eagles Captain.

“ Even I’m not that big of a jerk to kids bird boy.” He muttered with a shake of his head, Nozel sighed loudly before turning to look at them all.

“ I’m not jealous and I’m not angry at the child!” Nozel shouted accidentally, causing everyones eyes to widen. “ It’s just…” He glanced over at Dorothy, and she suddenly realized why he was acting the way he was.

Seeing that little girl was bringing up a lot of painful memories for him, so all he knew to do was lash out in order to hide his true emotions.

“ It’s just that a Captain’s meeting is no place for a child as young as her. Here, we talk about and see so many terrible things that it could easily traumatize someone as young as her for life. Don’t you think it would be better for her to remain innocent to the horrors of the world just a little longer?” Nozel asked with a sigh.

“ Uh, she’s already seen the horrors of the world remember? She’s actually a Magic Knight?” Yami pointed out in confusion, causing Nozel’s face to turn a brighter red.

“ Nozel does have a point. A Captain’s meeting is no place for a young child,” Fuegoloen agreed before he reached out to take her from Yami. “ So I suggest that she stay with Marx for the time being, and once the meetings over Yami can take her back. Alright?” He watched as all the others nodded and he carefully carried the child through the doors and to Marx.

The meeting ended fairly quickly and now Yami was heading back to the Black Bulls Hideout. After being full of energy all day she had finally wore herself out and was sound asleep in Yami’s arms. He chuckled a bit as he looked down at her, as much as he didn’t want to babysit her at first, he had to admit it was a nice change of pace and he was actually going to miss her being this small.

At least until she woke up and began to torment everyone again, then he wouldn’t be able to wait until she transformed back into her normal self again.

Thank you for the ask, Anon-friend, and for playing my Penny for Your Thoughts ask game!

I would love to talk a little bit about Dorothy! 💖 She's one of my favorite side characters in Black Clover and definitely one of my favorites of the Magic Knight Captains! I really wish we knew more about her because she is such an interesting character.

I remember being so surprised when we found out she had such a bright and peppy personality despite sleeping most of the time, and I just love that more playful side she shows in her Glamour World (when she's teasing Noelle for instance). She's so creative and kind of whimsical, but a very strong fighter and has lots of chaotic energy. It's wonderful! 💜

She has some awesome relationships too. Her friendship with Noelle is cute, and I'm super curious about how she and Kirsch get along as Captain and Vice Captain of the Coral Peacocks! However, I'm probably most invested in her friendship with Nozel out of all of her relationships. They're just so different from each other which makes it such a fun dynamic! Yes, maybe they became friends out of necessity (i.e. they had to get along because they worked together and Nozel could literally only tell her things he couldn't tell anyone else because of her Glamour World) but I like to think they grew to really appreciate each other and enjoy each other's company. Definitely one of my top unlikely friendships in all of BC!

As for Dorothy songs, I actually made a mini playlist for her that covers a lot of the songs that remind me of her, but for this ask, I think I will go with a classic: "Make Your Own Kind of Music" by Mama Cass Elliot. It's such a cheery, upbeat song and really reminds me so much of Dorothy and how she isn't afraid to be different and march to the beat of her own drum (and how she really encourages others to do the same). 🥰

Nozel Silva oneshot, ft. the Silva Siblings, Dorothy and Fuegoleon

"Please Nozel~" Dorothy came to the Silva household one day, she was just at Julius' office, reporting her recent mission.

"No." The Captain of the Silver Eagles ignored her.

"I uncovered this spell during my latest mission and it will make one lose control of their emotions, so let me try it on you please!" The Unsworth pleaded, "You're the best person I know that controls their emotions well!!"

Hearing her compliment, Nozel stayed silent for awhile.

“Why not take it as a game!” The captain of the Coral peacock challenged playfully, “to see how well you can keep in control! Besides the spell will wear off in 2 hours!”

Nebra and Solid looked on the conversation in fear. They knew what it was like being in their brother’s wrath, he’ll either be super silent or super angry and they were scared.. for their life.

“Er…” Nebra tried to stop the tragedy that was about to unfold, “Captain Dorothy, why not try it on Solid!”

“Hmmm?” She looked at Solid with a look of distain, as her features scrunched, “but solid can hardly control his emotions anyway!”

Ouch. Nebra could help but snigger as Solid scowled.

Nozel gave a scoff, “very well, but only for 2 hours, or I’ll kill you Unsworth.”

Dorothy casted her newly learnt spell and mana radiated around Nozel. His eyes slowly closed, and his body went limp in his armchair, as if he went to dreamland.

He woke again 10 minutes later, the 3 of them surrounding him.

“Are you o-okay brother…?” Nebra asked cautiously, not wanting to be the one to trigger the extremely emotional Nozel.

Nozel’s eyes widened and he stood up, cause the other 2 Silva siblings to jump back in surprise.

He grabbed the both of them and embraced them in a tight hug, “you guys are my amazing siblings. I would have been so lonely if I didn’t have the both of you around me. I always feel so proud that the both of you look up to me and I always want to be the best role model for you both..” his voice cracked a little at the end.

Nebra and Solid’s eyeballs almost popped from their sockets. Either because Nozel was hugging the living life out of them or because they were so shocked their eyes opened so widely.

Dorothy stood there, amazed at her magic but she wasn’t really surprised. In her dreamland, this was how Nozel was. She knew Nozel Silva was a big softie inside, he just didn’t know how to express it.

“Hehe, Fuegoleon needs to see this!” Dorothy giggled as an idea sprung into her mind. She disappeared all of a sudden, leaving the 3 siblings in their embrace.

“I’m sorry I’m always so hard on you two,” Nozel pulled back and looked at the both of them. The tears in the corner of his eyes, “I needed to take care of you both and make sure you’ll grow up to be strong and be able to take care of yourselves.”

Nozel hugged the two of them individually, patting the back of their heads, cooing about how they’re an amazing sibling and how they will be great mages.

Fuegoleon burst through the door, “I heard Nozel has gone mad!!”

Nebra and Solid looked at the Crimson Lion Captain in despair , “Captain Fuegoleon… Help us!”

Nozel turned to look at his rival, “Fuego!” He went over and put an arm around Fue’s shoulder, causing goosebumps to form on the Vermillion’s skin and sending shivers up his spine.

“What happened, Nozel?” He looked at Nozel and then at the other two dumbfounded Silvas, seeing their eldest revealing his true emotions shocked them, although it was a heartwarming feeling, they were just not used to it.

Before any of them could answer, Nozel exclaimed, “aren’t my siblings the best of them all? They so cute and are such great kids..”

His eyes were laced with red streaks. Even the great Fuegoleon was flabbergasted, and he couldn’t find any words to say.

"We've come a long way Fuego.." the emotional Nozel squeezed his friend's shoulder, "thank you for being my friend, making me a better person."

Fuegoleon wasn't used to his childhood rival being so straightforward. His feelings were mutual, but he was just not used to expressing it with Nozel in this manner.

"Nozel~" Dorothy appeared again before Fue could answer, "look who I brought?"

Everyone turned and saw Noelle standing there, with a puzzled expression on her face, "w-what's going on?"

"Noelle!" Nozel exclaimed, running over and enveloping her in a tight hug. "Look at how much you've grown! The last time I held you, you were still a toddler.."

There were tears in his eyes when he pulled back and looked at Noelle. He pressed both his hands on the sides of her face, taking a good look at her in adoration. She stared at him, overwhelmed by this side of her brother that she has never seen before.

"I'm sorry I was mean to you. Mom told me to take care of all of my siblings.." The elder Silva started to cry, "You've all grown up now and you're all strong and amazing. Mom would be really proud.. I'm so proud too.."

He looked at his 3 siblings with their mouth agape, they were content that they got to know the real feelings of their brother, but they just didn't know how to respond.

"I'm so happy right now, my head's starting to get a little light.." The captain held his head and Solid held his brother.

"Family hug!" he announced, and used his magic to pull the 3 of them close together into a tight embrace.

Their faces were so awkward, Dorothy and Fuego couldn't help but laugh at their expressions.

"I guess this is your doing?" Fuego raised an eyebrow at Dorothy.

"Best family counsellor ever~" Dorothy winked at him as he gave her a thumbs up and a nod of agreement.

Nozel started to lose his consciousness and the Silva siblings helped him back to his armchair.

When he regained his consciousness, they realised that he lost all his memory of what happened earlier.

"so, how was it when my emotions were out of control?" he asked.

"SCARY." they replied in unison.

who are your favorite top ten black clover characters and ships? talk about them! ~tat!

Hey there! Thank you so much for asking. 

This was actually fun to think about, I hadn’t tried to put my BC favorites into a top ten yet! 

Top Ten Characters: 

William Vangeance  William is honestly one of the main reasons my friend was able to get me into Black Clover, and he has stayed in that top spot the entire time. I love his design, personality, story-- just, everything. 

Zora Ideale Similar to above-- my very first Black Clover OC is with Zora, even though she started out as a joke/crack character before I watched it. 

Luck Voltia He’s chaos and adorable, again similar to the above situation where I was being shown characters to get me into Black Clover. They succeeded with these three and now I’m in love with the series. 

Langris Vaude At first he fell into the “I love the villains/bad guys/guys with a bad attitude” category, but the more he progresses the more I love him?? And his eyes, his eyes are so pretty. He might have had a pretty questionable start, but I enjoy every single scene this man is in. 

Zenon Zogratis I love villains, like I said above, and he’s no exception. Right from his first appearance I knew I was doomed for him to be a favorite. He’s just so awesome? I really can’t explain it better than that. Badass villain, great design, I’m honestly surprised he’s 5th and this is my list, haha! 

Rill Boismortier His magic is so cool, and his energetic personality is just so lovable. Not to mention he’s just overall adorable. He grew on me very quickly. 

Nozel Silva Another one I was shown to tempt me, but he didn’t really stick at first-- I was thrown off by his braid, but once I actually started the show I absolutely loved him. He’s who my OC Lark is with! 

Yuno It started off just as a preference for Yuno’s quiet nature over Asta’s loud one during the first few episodes, but then he just stayed one of my favorites. I love his rivalry with Asta and how much he progresses-- just an overall good boy. 

Noelle Silva I sometimes struggle to like female characters just because I struggle to connect to “damsels in distress” but this girl just proved all that wrong? (Honestly all the BC girls are amazing!) It didn’t take her long to grow on me, and watching her progress with her family is one of my favorite things. 

Secre Swallowtail Her design -- she’s so cute. Though honestly I loved her as a bird in general, and then just... she’s just so cute, and I love her loyalty and relationship with Asta.

I haven’t put a ton of thought into Black Clover pairings overall?? So I think I fall into a fairly common zone with pairings I like. 😂😂 However I’m going to leave this at top five, just because I don’t have that many (at least right now)! 

Top Five Character Pairings: 

Asta and Noelle Like I said -- I fall into a ‘common liked pairing’ zone for a lot of these! I just think Asta is great for Noelle and helping her step into her own abilities/progress while not being overbearing / overshadowing her.

Yami and Charlotte Their interactions are just priceless, and seeing such a strong woman fall in love but stay strong is fantastic. 

Gauche and Grey Though neither made it onto my character top ten, I love both of them. Her being so shy and him so blunt just works.

Rill and Charmy Just that he’s in love with her and doesn’t even really know it’s her, I think it’s super cute and fitting for Rill.

Finral and Vanessa I don’t have much of a reason behind this one, just that I think they’d be super cute, and they get along well.

Favorite Characters

Wow my favorite character lists is really not that diverse. Vermillion + Captain supremacy. 

1. Leopold Vermillion

Where to begin with Leo? If you can’t tell by my Black Clover fanart being 80% Leopold, you’d know that I am iN LOVE WITH THIS KID AND HIS CHARACTER. I adore Leopold so much it’s such a shame that he doesn’t get as much screen time as he should because he has so much potential. His fiery, energetic, loud personality just sticks out to me. I could go more in detail but I’ll spare them to make this post shorter.

2. Finral Roulacase

WHERE TO BEGIN WITH FINRAL? I am absolutely in love with this man JAOISJDOAIOEHAO. Finral really resonates with me since I feel a connection with him through his low self-worth and his struggles with being an older sibling. Other than that, I absolutely adore him so much. He’s such a cutie and I love all of his comedic moments and how hard working he is sm. 

3. Langris Vaude

This goes to show how much I just love the space brothers. Langris is such a complex character and I LOVE his relationship with Finral. Of course, a lot of people are really quick to hate on Langris-- and rightfully so. But examining his character, it definitely shows reason (but def not excuses) to why Langris acts the way he does. 

4. Yuno

I just straight up adore Yuno. I love his stoic, cold character and his reasons for it. He could have his comedic moments which is quite hilarious to say the very least. I do wish we would know more about his experiences in the Golden Dawn though since I feel like even though he’s a main character, we hardly know anything about him. But he is just as hardworking as Asta and I love how healthy his rivalry with Asta is.

5. Asta

Asta is what the cool kids call, “the GOAT.” I absolutely love his character and his role as the MC of the series. I think Tabata writes his character really well. I love how he always picks himself back up, despite literally the entire world being against him. I think Asta is very inspirational and hands down one of my favorite shonen protagonists. He is very underrated and it pains me to see him downgraded to someone who screams a lot since he really doesn’t scream that much past the beginning. (I personally found his screaming endearing!)

6. Rill Boismortier

RILL IS MY FAVORITE CAPTAIN AAAAA! HE IS SO CUTE! As an artist, I absolutely adore his magic! I just love everything about him; his carefree attitude, his entire design, his laugh, everything!

7. Fuegeoleon Vermillion

King Vermillion, everyone! I just have a soft spot for the Vermillions. I love how strong Fuego is! He’s such a kind-hearted person with such a strong will! I’m super glad he has Salamander by his side because he deserves it!!!!!!!!!!! Out of everyone, I’m hoping he’ll be the next wizard king. 

8. William Vangeance

You know what’s funny? I didn’t know people actually hated Vangeance until I encountered BC twitter lmao. But I love Vangeance so much. He’s another huge, complex character that people seem to either hate him or love him. His characters throughout the entire series plays such a huge role and I love that. 

9. Mereoleona Vermillion

QUEEN VERMILLION! I just love how she isn’t your typical magic knight and she just does her own thing! She is the epitome of powerful woman and she is hands down, imo, the strongest captain. 

10. Dorothy Unsworth

oH MAN??? GLAMOUR WORLD? ARE YOU KIDDING? Her entire character is phenomenal. From her design, to her magic, to her personality, she just screams perfection. I do wish to know more about her soon, though we got a glimpse of it when she was talking to Noelle about Megicula!

Favorite Ships

If I’m being honest, I really only have a top 3? But the only ship I’m actually passionate about is yunoleo so--

1. YunoLeo

If you’re new to my account, you’d definitely find this ship to be a surprise. It actually wasn’t a ship I thought about until my friend Himae and I were joking talking about Yuno and Leo and then went “holy shit wait---” The relationship of YunoLeo is all about POTENTIAL since the two have not interacted much in canon. But, I can’t stress enough how perfect I think Yuno and Leo would be together. They would definitely go into the “rivals-to-lovers” and “opposites attract” tropes. Not to mention, my personal headcanon for both of them is that they’re both gay.  I believe if Tabata were to allow Yuno and Leopold to interact more, it would definitely show the potential they would have together. I could elaborate more in detail but I think this post would be way too long. 

2. AsuNoe / Astelle

Out of everyone in the “Asta harem,” I tend to like AsuNoe more, surprisingly. I feel like I’m not quite used to shipping the main MCs together, let alone the MC with the tsundere female MC. However, I have a soft spot for Noelle. I feel like if her character wasn’t super revolved around her crush on Asta, they’d definitely flow better. I like how they interact. It’s quite obvious that Asta does care about Noelle as much as she does. But, as oblivious as Asta is, I don’t think they’ll get together anything soon LOL. I’m not super passionate about AsuNoe, but I do like them the most out of all the potential Asta ships. From them being teammates, there’s a lot of build-up that can occur, not to mention the huge canon influence.

3. YamiChar

Charlotte’s crush on Yami is the cutest thing ever. I just love the dynamic between her and Yami; Yami being oblivious to her feelings, but thinking Charlotte secretly hates him since she avoids him but Charlotte avoiding him because she’s actually super nervous. I don’t think that Yami has a romantic interest towards Charlotte in canon at the moment, but I do think he does like her. 

4. Mars/Fana

Pretty much canon, I don’t really have much to say about them aside from the fact that I hope they get married already!

5. Rillmy

OKAY RILLMY IS JUST SO CUTE. I definitely adore the idea of the two of them together! Their characters flow really well together and I really think they have potential! Maybe they’ll get more scenes together from this arc? I hope so!

6. Nozel/Dorothy

This ship is really cute to! Though we don’t actually see them interact in canon, the fact that Nozel and Dorothy seem to talk to each other a lot and Nozel being able to confide in Dorothy makes me go ohohoho.

7. WiriPatri

black bulls vs vetto -- this fight was really when i started to really love the series and the characters! like it was good before the seabed arc but that arc really made me even more attached!

asta and yami vs dante -- the sword pass !!!! chills !!

asta and yuno (ft yami) vs zagred -- my fav part about this was lumiere, licht, and nero's involvement omg. i cant even put it into words but them working together then asta and yuno and yami doing the final blows was just so great! also i know asta says 'im gonna become the wizard king' a LOT but when nero healed him and she goes 'become the wizard king' then they showed the flashbacks of asta's training and fights, I was a big mess !!

julius vs patri -- julius showing off his grimoire + a series of really cool spells, all so so so good!

the whole fight in the witched' forest -- asta turning into a demon for the first time, vanessa and finral doing a lot of super cool things, fana and mars being cute after being chaotic, and vanessa getting rouge. so much good stuff !!

the captains fight -- dorothy vs yami specifically, but also nozel vs fuego ! all the captains (minus rill) got to show off their super cool moves!

these are not animated yet but i also really love the fight scenes in the manga -- asta and liebe vs the twin devils, nacht vs the twin devils, dante vs magna, noelle vs vanica, and charlotte vs vanica. also the cute little fight with nacht and asta at the beginning (chibi liebe so cute)

gravity magic -- this is just in general for me; i think gravity manipulators are so cool (like chuuya from bsd) the potential is endless !

painting magic -- again so much potential! rill's magic is always so fun to see!

dream magic -- same with dorothy! we haven't seen her go all out yet so im really hoping we get to see her do so later on! but her magic is so fun and pretty!

dark magic -- super cool and bad ass. it's considered ~ weird magic ~ in the clover kingdom so im really curious what type of magic they have where yami came from. also kind of irrelevant but i really like how yami says the spells lol

finral's spatial magic -- i saw a post about how if finral really stepped up his game he'd be able to do that thing that gojo does (like the thing where no one can touch him) but also so much more things! finral is only for support but i think his magic can do so much cool things

time magic -- it's pretty ambiguous but i just love it so much. the last spell that julius did during the patri vs julius fight was so good !! im really curious what kinds of spells he had in that massive grimoire that's gone so soon 😭

lightning magic -- luck's to be specific. like you mentioned, there's variety of the same types of magic, which is so cool, and i think luck's is my fav one. so much power !! it's perfect for him. i just love watching him go feral with it lmao

O hi!! I love so many of the characters, this is hard!

Bearing in mind that I haven’t been able to finish the anime nor manga yet (I’m in the Midnight Sun arc, so very behind), my top 10 favourites are:

1. Mereleona Vermillion

The Supreme Teef Lady™ 🥰

She is passionate, she is love, she is life

I have loved her since I set my eyes on her and she was just introduced to me so I hope I will fall further in love

2. Finral Roulacase

He is just so adorable? He is trying his best!! In everything!! figuring out how to use his amazing better!!

Can definitely relate to being the failure of the family, oof, but Finral is taking it in stride

I love tragic siblings with all my heart

I hope he dials down the flirting eventually because it’s the only thing pushing him down in this list. 

3. Mimosa Vermillion

She is sweet, she is smart, she is adorable (and ruthless sometimes) 🥰

She has insane support magic?? and it is plant magic!!

4. Noelle Silva

She is such a sweet and kind person who went through a lot because of her siblings

She has this amazing magic and is learning to control it, she is awesome!! I really love how they’ve depicted Noelle’s magic

Only reason pushing her below is that I don’t like that her inability to express her emotions often ends up with her being a little violent towards Asta. This trope is a big no for me, but I’m hoping Noelle will stop it soon!!

Fate magic has to be the tightest thing ever, her whole arc just made me fall in love with her

Caged bird has grown her wings, and her way to co-operate with others in the fights is just amazing

Okay, listen, he might have been in coma most of the time for now, but he is like, super cool?? I can’t wait for him to wake back up!!

Do I love the tiny teeth some of the Vermillions have a little too much? yes, it’s cute

Oh wow I didn't expect this, sorry if it's a little late. I guess I do a bit more than lurk if I somehow got noticed.

1. Asta

What can I say I'm a simple woman. He's a very good son. 10/10 Would mother,

2. Yami

I think the moment I laid eyes on him I was in it for the long haul. Everything just works for me. Plus we share the same birthday, coincidence? Probably, but it's cool.

3. Noelle

This girl just really makes me proud for her. I adore her development and growth. I look forward for what's to come.

4. Gauche

Yeah he doesn't usually make these does he? What can he say, he's grumpy, and a little selfish, a little rude, but he cares a lot.

5. Grey

She's shy, I'm shy, it just works. So I mean I'm totally digging all this recent focus on her. I'm happy, and waiting for more.

6. Nero/Secré

What the hell do I call her now? Is it a Eugene/Flynn thing? Anyways I just really like her tragedy. Sometimes tragedy can be beautiful. I hope she's okay right now.

7. Yuno

Oh look at me finally stepping out of the bulls. A bit introverted, a bit reserved, I can relate. 10/10 Would comfort with a hug after the day he has had.

She demands respect, I like that. Actually overall I like her, and I'm waiting to see how exactly she reacts to the current state of things.

She's a character of love, and well I'm sentimental. Also she's got a wolf, and I really like those. Oh, and I'm curious to see where the dwarf stuff goes.

10. Klaus

You ever see a hen who hatches like duck or goose eggs, and starts raising ducklings/goslings who quickly outgrow the hen, but the bird still sits atop of them keeping them warm. Klaus is the mother hen, and well chickens are great in their own right. Cluck away Klaus.

Why am I so slow are writing this all up? Anyways I don't think I have enough ships I actively excitedly ship to make it to ten I'll try, but let's see what happens.

1. Gauche x Grey

There is a lot of potential, and I'm a happy little shipper currently. Thanks Tabata. It all started down at the underwater temple, when we find out what Grey really looks like, and Gauche thinks his old reliable 'Golly my precious sister's photo will refresh me a huh a huh,' with his cheeks all flushed. He thinks he's slick. He's really not.

Now these recent chapters have got a lot going on, and the stakes are certainly raised where. Nonetheless me being me zoomed on Gauches's gentle 'Hey...Grey,' after her very desperate tackle. Mmm good stuff. That interlaced backstory of their's, good stuff. I think they can really bring out the best in each other.

2. Yami x Charlotte

Charlotte just loses any semblance of composure, and Yami bless his dense heart. I mean she spent years getting disappointed by all talk men, and along comes Yami effortlessly at her most vulnerable. He spent years just having to deal with all the nasty comments that he just expects that most people won't have a positive opinion of him anyway. They'll get there one day.

3. Asta x Noelle

Cute. Okay so I have a feeling he kinda already really likes her, but he just doesn't know it yet. He's so stuck on Sister Lily he doesn't realize what kind of feelings Noelle actually stirs in him. I say this because of his eyes. When Asta is at his most content, most joyful, just complete bliss his eyes are just, so big and round and bright full of happiness. At the star festival he officially says, 'I guess I like Noelle quite a bit,' but more importantly his eyes are just so big and bright. He also has the same big eyes when they're reunited in the shadow palace. It's there he just doesn't understand it's more than just a very good friend.

4. Nero/Secré x Lumiere

What's more romantic than a star crossed tragedy? How many times did they sit on the palace rooftops watching the sunrise/sunset discussing hopes and dreams and wishes and the future? What if it was futile because they'd never allow the prince to marry his servant? What if she was, so enamored with him, but he didn't notice because of his work? What if she couldn't bring herself to say that she always loved him before he was gone foever because it'd hurt even more? She was so willing to die with him to never be separated again, and in the end it would be the last time she'd hold his hand, or hear his voice after five hundred years of waiting and watching.

5. Nozel x Dorothy

This is admittedly high on speculation and I'm not really that serious about, but I mean you don't really blab to a total stranger about some super secret family uh secret that is hush hush practically no one knows the real cause of your mother's death because devil curse, right? There's gotta be a high degree of trust there especially when you send your youngest sister you've tried to protect in some discombobulated way to her, right? There's gotta be at least a friendship going on, but with such clashing personalities it seems interesting. Also you know how judgemental he is towards Yami and Jack, and stern with Rill, and you'd think he'd reprimand Dorothy for all that sleeping she does at all the important meetings too. Why is she the exception?

6. Yuno x Noelle

This is pretty much a crackship. I don't really expect much from it. They're intereaction was pretty interesting, and it kinda looks like we'll get some interaction if they work together, but with a lot more to prove this time around.

Hmmm I think that might be it. I kinda fizzled out in the end there, whoopsie sorry. Were these strange lists? It was pretty tough thinking about it all just because I kinda just accept things as they happen, and enjoy it all no matter what. Oh well, that's just how it goes, anyways thanks for the ask.

Hi Anon, thank you very much for the question. It's going to be a long answer so I hope you feel like reading.

Top Ten Black Bulls Members:

Since there are actually 14 including Yami, instead of making the Top10, I will include everyone. I will say now that I really like everyone a lot despite having to do the ranking, like everyone to me are sceptional characters that deserves de world.

N01. Asta: It might be typical considering he's the main character, but Asta really seems like a very interesting character to me and he's my favorite of the Black Bulls. His way of facing the world, wanting to fight to protect his beloved people but respecting and empathizing with his rivals came to me from the beginning. Thanks to Asta we realize that the bad guys are not so bad, that maybe they have their reasons (I follow the Anime, so I don't know if it will continue to be like that in the manga, I've seen something but I don't want to spoil myself). Honestly Asta is not only the member of the Black Bulls that I like the most, but he is one of my favorite characters of all the time. In Black Clover only Julius surpasses him.

N02. Gordon: This one might be more surprising considering he's a secondary or even tertiary character, he's one of the Black Bulls with less screen time and I still love him. He seems to me to be a very tender character and with whom I feel identified. In the end, all he wants is to have friends and protect them and that goes straight to my heart. The first time he appears he looks like he's going to be a cool, serious character, but it turns out he's a cinnamon roll.

N03. Charmy: I think people like Charmy in general and I admit that I fell into her “charms” too, she is a funny character without being grotesque or humiliating and at the same time she is super strong and great. I love her magic and her laid back personality. Charmy knows how to make people love her and I love the battle scenes she has. Also, the fact that she wants to share her food even with her enemies says a lot about her for me, she is a wonderful girl and I hope they show more development of her. 

N04. Yami: Yami is a magnificent character, I love his personality and the way he fights. The magic of darkness could have easily fallen into the cliché, but as with the other characters, Tabata manages to make him unique. His fights fascinate me, he is seriously a character that you would like to see and know more about. His story with Julius and William is very tender and the fact that he embraces those people who others reject because he knows how to see the true potential of people, in my eyes makes him the best leader of all. And honestly, I would love for him to be the one to become the Wizard King. Although of course, it does not fit very well with his personality.

N05. Noelle: Female protagonist who is useful, strong and made to fight alongside the male protagonist without any fear. Superb. I honestly love her. Her personality, her story, and her resolve to avenge her mother. The development with her family was unexpected (honestly, I really disliked her brothers until it shows why Nozel does what he does, was it the best he could do? No, but that's the great thing. People don't always do their best and that makes him more human). The only thing I don't like is that she attacks Asta out of shyness, I know it's comedy but hmm, well; It is sure to improve as her relationship with Asta develops (if at all). As a bonus, the Valkirie Dress looks amazing to me, I love the design of the armor.

N06. Magna: I adore Magna, I honestly think he is a great character. He is not as strong as his peers and everyone knows it, yet he still strives to train and not be left behind. His scenes seem very emotional to me and his character is very funny. He has the design that I like the most of all the Black Bulls and I love that his magic is based on baseball when it does not exist (or so I think) in that world. I hope they develop him more, because for now they have left their background a little aside compared to the others, although if they do not do it I will not complain either because for me Magna is the average character that makes you want to try harder and harder for your dreams even if your skills are not the best; and that as such makes him one of the best characters.

N07. Finral:

Finral is a lovely character, I like him a lot, he makes me very tender and makes me want to hug him every time he appears. His background touched my heart very much, his whole relationship with his family (his brother) and wanting to improve himself after having been lost and feeling worthless. I think he is the character with the most precious heart (aside from Asta), and I hope he can achieve his goal and be happy with Finesse. 

N08. Grey:

Grey is a precious baby, as a character she is so shy that sometimes she is exaggerated for comedy. But being a very introverted and shy person myself, I understand Grey perfectly. I adore her relationship with others and she is a character that I like to see in action to see how she surpasses her limits. Her magic is very interesting to me, so I hope I can see a lot more of her.

N09. Henry:

Honestly, his design was very curious to me from the beginning, when I saw it and nothing was known about him yet. But his personality is super sweet. I love his story and how Yami saves his life by bringing noisy people to his house. Despite his limitation and absorbing the power of others, he manage to deal with them and that is wonderful to me, their scenes are very emotional for me. Although sometimes I get stressed because he speaks very slowly (surely that in the manga I would take it better).

N10. Secre:

Her design is super super nice, I love that she has little horns because of the forbidden magic and her personality is so calm… It makes a lot of contrast with the rest of her teammates. Her magic is one of the most interesting in my opinion. But above all it is her story with the first Wizard King that shocks me, so many years waiting to be able to be in peace… I imagined that Nero would be important for the story but wow, she exceeded my expectations. Anyway it makes me sad that she can't go with Lemiel.

N11. Luck:

Luck, despite not entering the Top10, is a character that I really like, the problem is that I like everyone a lot, hehe. He is a character that I find funny and irritating at the saime time, which for me is part of his charm. I like his magic and his determination to get into any battle; although sometimes I would like them to give his character a little more depth and that is why he is at number 11. But it is just my opinion, and as I say despite that I love Luck.

N12. Vanessa:

I have to say that even though I understand her background and the reasons behind it, I don't quite like the idea that she's always practically naked and drinking. It is the only thing for me, and I equally respect and love her character; But it happens to me like with Luck, sometimes I see them somewhat flat personality. However I know that it is not like that and that she is a quite complex character, I really like when she enters battle, her determination and her love for her friends is really incredible (I really liked the battle of Vanessa, Finral and Asta against Vetto, it is one of my favorite battles)

N13. Gauche:

If he wasn't so creepy with Marie he would have the 5th position on my list ... I mean, I understand that they do it for comedy and that there really is no incest or anything, he is just an overprotective brother (and I understand his reasons because his story explains everything very good), but I think the way to carry that humor gets a little out of hand sometimes. At least it sometimes makes me uncomfortable even though I know that there is no bad intention or anything, he is just a boy who lost everything and who only had his sister to protect. Apart from that, I find him a spectacular character and I have a lot of affection for him despite being almost at the bottom of the list.

N14. Zora:

As they work on his development I imagine that I will like him more, but for now he is the member that I like the least. Still, I repeat, I like them all so ... on a scale of 1 to 10, it would be 7.5, which is high. Only the others are more. Zora is a very curious character and his magic is too, but honestly for now I like his father more than him, Zara is a character that impacted me a lot and deserved the world. Anyway Zora fighting for his father's dreams is precious too.

N01. Mars x Fana: I find them especially adorable, after their hard childhood and all they have to go through, I sincerely hope they can end up happy together. Super cute this couple.

N02. Yami x Charlotte:sincerely I hope that it becomes canon because they have a dynamic that I love, I hope I can see development of both and that Charlotte overcomes her panic about being in Yami's presence and that Yami is interested in her, because sometimes he has the sensitivity of a shoe.

N03. Asta x Noelle:

Although I adore Mimosa and I hope she can be happy with someone if she wants to, the couple that I like the most is Asta and Noelle, Asta really cares a lot about Noelle, I hope that little by little he will find out more about his love side and not just friendship, I know that Black Clover is a shounen and such; but hey, who knows.

N04. Gauche x Grey:

They're so cute, aw, when Grey says she wants Gauche to look at her more… she stole my heart. I hope they develop them and that they can end up together.

N05. Magna x Luck: Mm, I like this couple although I am fine whether it develops (which I doubt) or if they stay in great friends because friendship is also something precious)

N06. Finral x Finesse:

Until Finesse appeared I liked Finral and Vanessa, but aww, how can one not be moved by these two? Finesse is a heaven of person and Finral more.

N07. Lemiel x Secre: I suffered a lot when Lemiel "dies" leaving Secre alone and tells her to live and be happy because pff, wow. Without having to be a couple or anything, losing someone so important ... But hey, it's a couple that I really like. Maybe in their next life they can be happy together.

N08. Litch x Tetia: Although they don't appear so much, they are one of the main pivots of the first arc. I cried a lot with their background but they are one of the couples that I like the most.

N09. Fuegoleon x Nozel:

These types of relationships are one of my weaknesses, I really like their dynamics a lot and I wouldn't mind if they became a real couple; although again it would be rare for it to happen in a shounen.

N10. Yuno x Charmy:

I find this couple very funny, it's not that Yuno is one of my favorite characters in any case; but I love how Charmy interacts with him by giving him food.

So I got to think (like I usually shouldn’t) and started wondering what it would be like if Nebra and Solid were Mimosa and Kirsch’s siblings instead of Nozel and Noelle’s. The main reason I refuse to move Nozel and Noelle over is because if these two are Acier’s only children, then she comes up with two names for whichever her first child is and then whoopses a daughter almost 14 years later and goes “oh shit, did not plan, what do I name-I KNOW”. Also I just love switching up dynamics ngl

Regarding the Nebra and Solid are Mimosa and Kirsch’s sibs au I mentioned, one the more serious and thoughtful side of things I wonder how Nebra would be different as the eldest.  It’s a good deal of responsibility she doesn’t have as a Silva.  One the sillier side of things, I know for certain that Nebra and Solid’s magic would be different as that is hereditary.  Nebra I feel like would have pollen magic to go with a mist type flower sibs theme which may make her an even bigger menace LOL

For the Nebra and Solid are flower Vermillions au this also means that Mimosa now has 3 older sibs posing all over the place.  And since there’s more than one, there are Pose Offs

Okay I’m gonna blabber about this now!

First, I’d decided from Day 1 that Nozel helped Acier pick out Noelle’s name, it’s too cute to think of it any other way. But the idea of Acier having two names picked out and Noelle surprising her so she just goes with her backup name for Nozel is really funny too

Honestly I think it would be really fun to see Nebra as the oldest sibling, and even more fun to imagine Kirsch being the closest in age to her. She seems to me like the type to be easily shaped by those closer to her, so if that were Kirsch instead of Nozel or Solid, imagine them both being flashy and over the top instead of just Kirsch. Poor Mimosa, because Solid is definitely following Kisch’s lead, which means she has to deal with TWO flamboyant snooty brothers and a big sister who doesn’t take anything seriously

On the flip side, I think that instead of Nebra being the Big Sister of the bunch like Nozel is the Big Brother, it’d look more like Nebra and Kirsch being the power duo causing beautiful havoc wherever they go, and Solid riding on their coattails as their hype men. Meanwhile Mimosa is distancing herself because the three of them are embarrassing and mean but they all look the same (lbr) and there is no way Nebra and Solid are letting her get away as easily as Kirsch does

Nebra having pollen magic is A++++ wouldn’t change a thing, it’s exactly the type of obnoxious fooling around type magic that fits her personality. I think Solid would have a plant type magic, maybe, like... berry magic? That would be cute lol

I’m picturing blackberry magic. Idk how familiar everyone else is with wild blackberries, but they are MONSTERS. The bushes are huge and take over everything around them and they’re SUPER prickly, and also the aesthetic of everything they come in contact with being covered in blackberry juice, which is close enough to blood red that it’d be a really messy aesthetic. They also attract everything from deer to wasps. Overall, looks a lot scarier than it is, which is how I think of Solid LOL

On the flip side, I think that Nozel and Noelle would have a much quieter, lonelier life with just the two of them. I wonder if the “You killed our mother” narrative would be pushed so hard if there weren’t two young kids there loudly mourning the death of her mother? Nozel was only 14 when Acier died but it seems that he handled things much more quietly than Nebra and Solid did as far as pushing it on Noelle (although he definitely put a target on Noelle’s back). Plus, without Nebra and Solid to fall back on for support, I don’t know if he’d be so quick to push Noelle away. They’d need each other

So maybe this is a universe where instead of pushing her away, he gets super clingy. The narrative looks more like “Mother died having you and so I must never let anything happen to anyone else I care about, especially you” and so Noelle is on Nozel’s hip all the time. I wonder what kind of relationship the plant Vermillions had with Acier, because with Nebra and Solid as Vermillions now, if they miss Acier, they’d still be bringing the heat on Noelle, I think
