Partial to coochie coos and tickle tickles to fill any moments of his own silence.

He’s a man of science and you know what that means.

He’ll notice the way you arch into his touch, or the way you look away and blush when he makes an analogy about having a tickle in his throat and that’s all he needs to get curious enough to generate a hypothesis.

Once he tests it and just out of the blue while asking rapidfire questions under the guise of a game blurts it out in the same monotone voice as always.

“So I take it you like being tickled hm?”

“Yeah of course I-”

He wished he had a camera to record the way your face had froze as you realized what had just come out of your mouth before you rushed to backpedal.

“I-I mean-no I just-I th-thought you asked something el-”

Too late for that.

He had already cornered you against the nearest wall and begun skating his fingernails under your shirt over your bare sides with a calm smile.

“There’s no need to tell fibs now. I can see from how red you are that you like this whether you attempt to deceive me or not.”

He merely laughed as you groaned in embarrassment and hid your burning face in his lab coat.

From then on, lots of experiments. He is a neurologist after all. What better way to test how laughter affects brain chemistry?

Victor:

Opposite to Kiro; he’s cold and doesn’t open his mouth much besides to offer the occasional playfully degrading comment.

“Ah, so this is your real laugh hm? Quite loud. I should be the only one to hear it.”

He’s much more focused on your laughter and flustered reaction as well as what makes you give him the best reactions.

Always evolving his tickling style. Kind of experimental like Lucien but more spur of the moment and doing it to mess with you.

Quick, nimble, long fingers.

How else do you think he writes and types so fast as a CEO?

Uses his big hands to wrap around you and can tickle both your ribs and back at the same time.

Finds a sadistic satisfaction in the way you jerk and let out a strangled sound of gaped laughter when he does it for the first time, eyes comically wide before you attempt to beg.

Punishes you when you make him worry and when you go MIA in particular.

Does it out of nowhere too, to catch you off guard.

…Absolutely once called you to his office just to wreck you until you were in tears.

Goldman got some ideas after that day the poor secretary-

Gavin:

High school friend already knew you were ticklish, despite never having done it to you himself until now.

He’s too shy for that now, c’mon.

The sweet ler who’ll hesitate even when he’s got you pinned, his hands hovering over your skin after a playfight.

“J-Just call my name if you need me to stop okay?”

His softness is the last thing on your mind as he then roughly digs his fingers into your hipbones.

When you burst into giggles, the smallest of smiles twitches onto his lips as he relishes in the sound of your laughter.

Teases tentatively since he’s worried about pushing you too far.

More innocent comments and him blurting out his thoughts that have the added bonus of flustering you to Hell and back.

“Heh…your laugh hasn’t changed a bit.”

“Man, look how red you’ve gotten.”

Will turn red himself when he goes to pull away, worried you’re not getting enough oxygen and you pull his hand back towards your body with a pout.

Lets out the purest laugh when it clicks and turns a bit more teasy in reaction.

“Oh? You don’t want me to stop do you?”

Helios:

Hi.

Remember how I said Kiro was a master ler?

Take that; multiply it by 500 and you’ve got Helios.

Fuck playful tickling.

This man?

Gonna torture you.

Kiro was very careful to never use his Evol on you, even if you said you didn’t mind or even wanted him to.

Helios has no such qualms and relishes in the lack of control he can force on you.

It’s a reminder to him both that he’s powerful and you’re safe not that he’ll ever admit as much.

Degrades just a tad when he lers.

Makes fun of you for liking it

The type to pretend he’d rather be literally anywhere else. Like he’s not the one torturing you and it’s this huge inconvenience as you lose it in his arms.

“Damn your laugh is so squeaky. Ha! Did you just snort?”

Try to quiet yourself and he’ll either pout or threaten as his

“Did I say to stop?”

Omg absolutely the type to let you get away just to drag you back to him!!

Doesn’t show it outwardly but freaking loves the chase and struggle under that tsundere ass façade.

Possessive of his Lee.

He wants to be the only one to tickle them.

Especially in front of a certain brother

Generally enjoys tickling you in front of others despite his possessive nature since he views it as a declaration.

Any of his band members from Loud House try joining in he will 1000% put you down to wreck them till they cry.

“Oh you wanted to join in? Why didn’t you just say so?”

Oh shit wait that’s not playfulness that’s aggression in his tone run little drummer boy run!!

Absolutely no mercy. Follows through on making them cry and taunts them mercilessly about it. Never lets them live it down and threatens them with it again if he gets jealous.

…no-one’s stupid enough to try again after that.

Ares:

Once Lucien drops the mask?

Much like Helios he’s worse.

The only difference? His was done for manipulation against you rather than to protect you and he’s got even less qualms about using it to mess with you.

He already did it as Lucien of course but as Ares?

He’s so much crueler, and he’s not afraid to manhandle you either.

Even if he wants to safeguard you, it doesn’t mean he can’t have some fun with you too.

And maybe he misses your smile and laughter around him.

Not that he’d ever tell you as much.

He never got to show his annoyance as Lucien and as Ares he still mostly doesn’t.

Until he does.

You make one too many passive aggressive comments, roll your eyes one too many times and suddenly he’s got you pinned by your neck against the wall, grin more feral than you’d ever seen it with a glint in his eyes that makes your blood turn to ice.

He clicks his tongue at you.

“Tsk tsk tsk…not a very smart girl now are we?”

His voice is little more than a hiss.

“This has been a long time coming. I hope you’re ready to be punished. Thoroughly.”

He leans forward to purr all too sweetly into your ear.

“And I have just the method. Be a good girl and behave for me won’t you? I’d hate to have to gag you.”

His tone was so full of relish you know if you so much as try it he’ll follow through.

do you have a favourite character from mlqc? if so, why?

hello sweetheart!! thank you so much for this question.

i don’t know if you’re familiar with the game and the characters so know that there’s 5 main character : victor, gavin, kiro, lucien and shaw (+ our character), that some people have powers and the storyline is way too difficult and long for me to make a summary here.

back to the question, i do have a favourite character, it’s victor. he’s a CEO and has the ability to stop time (he can stop everything around him while allowing those he wishes to to move freely during this moment).

victor is the definition of the perfect man. the relationship victor and mc (our character) share has grown from only business partners to the best relationship a couple could have. he fell in love with her at first sight, he always supports her in her work and pushes her to do better because he always knew she was capable of doing everything she wanted. he calls her “dummy” with the most loving voice after she tries to convince him to do something he’d have never done if not for her (he still criticise it beforehand but it’s just in his nature, saying it’s too “childish” or “something only a dummy would do”), he’s a little cold and too professional for his own good (all of his employees like him but they’re also a little afraid of him because of his coldness and his professionalism no matter the situation) but the moment he’s with mc you’ll see him laughs and sporting the most loving gaze you could ever see. he’s so gentle with her no matter what. he loves mc so much and doesn’t hesitate to remind her by his words or by his actions. he has money and everything one could need but is also delighted every time she offers him a present because it reminded her of him. he also always cook for her even if he complains because, while he believes she can do anything she wants, she shouldn’t have to do anything when he’s with her. he sometimes stops time when they’re together to make the most of it and keep her all for himself.

omg so i have so so many favourite moments but i’m just gonna talk about some of them that has me feral.

i’m gonna start with mc’s death (she died and came back no worries). she had died because victor had to kill her (it was horrible he was crying i loved it). she came back after being dead for 6 months and when she did, she couldn’t find victor. so (one of) her new goal was to find him. while searching for him she ended up on a boat blindfolded waiting in a room. she had previously recognised the dessert he always made her and she was so excited but at the same time she didn’t want to give herself false hopes because she couldn’t be sure she founded him. then, victor entered the room (mind you she’s still blindfolded) and she just knew it. that was him. she didn’t even took of the blindfold or anything, she just ran to him and she ended up in his arms. they hugged and couldn’t keep their hands to themselves and she mc tried to took the blindfold off, victor didn’t let her. she understood when she held his face and dried his tears because she was also crying. he told her they were in no rush. then mc told him she missed him and he understood that there was more meaning to those three words than they let on but they couldn’t really take the time to talk now. he laughed, a genuine laugh and called her a dummy. they were still in each other arms and they were so relieved to have each other back. this was a crazy moment seriously they are so in love!!!!!

this moment is from victor’s latest birthday. victor was abroad for business and he should come back the night of his birthday. mc took this opportunity to prepare a birthday party at his house to surprise him. so he came back, they have a great night and she managed to surprise him with fireworks and all and she’s so happy because he’s not easily impressed. they’re all lovely and they can’t stop saying how much they love the other. after that, she saw him going through some paperworks so she wants to know what’s so important… and it’s reports talking about increasing the fundings in her company (she owns her company and victor is the one giving her money for her shows), making more projects in collaboration with her. she doesn’t understand and victor says that she has grown, that her hard work paid off and he wants to supports her so his company (he has one of the biggest company and victor manages in particularly investments and financial things) is at her disposal. he wants her to make a name for herself, be the producer she wants to be!! when i tell you i wanted to cry so much he’s so proud of her and of her hard work. he would give her everything he has and more so she could be the woman she dreams to be.

i’ll end with a moment that is maybe my favourite. mc had a sort of daydream where she was conscious (i hope this makes sense) and she had one with victor. she had stabbed him but she didn’t know it was him. she started crying instantly and he shushed her, saying that he would never let her get hurt again and that this was his punishment because he has stabbed her too (when he killed her, in the moment i talk about just before). he wrapped his hand around hers and hold the knife. he then asked her if she would be afraid if this was his end. she answered that no, she wouldn’t because she’ll always search and find him no matter when or where. he then said that he was relieved that his dummy thought that because he’d be too worried if she was left alone without him :( she was crying too much and victor still tried to reassure her that everything was alright and then died… but fortunately it was just a vision/a daydream so he didn’t really die!

Sofia, Kiroranke, and Wilk Ten Year Runaways

Okay, I’m gonna lay my main card down already: I hc that Kiroranke loved both Wilk and Sofia. His love for Sofia is canon. But honestly, Kiroranke’s devotion and love for Wilk during their revolutionary days were so deep and intimate, I can’t see it as just plain old war buddies type of love. He loved that man, hence it hurt so much to see the Wilk he loved since his teenage years grow into someone he didn’t know and couldn’t relate to anymore in the end. It was like betrayal. Maybe one day I should write more about that. But yes, sometimes I think the manga was framing the trio as some sort of love triangle, and it was, but it was Kiroranke loving the both of them. I argue that in that aspect, he was their emotional core.

I think Kiroranke and Wilk had moments together — Kiroranke, a teenage boy in love with someone older than him, desperately kissing an injured Wilk after the assassination. He would be embarrassed about it, ashamed of his actions, but Wilk said nothing but thanks for his concern. Kiro looking deep into shining blue eyes crinkled in mirth underneath a layer of blood, you fucking bet he realized right then and there he would follow this man wherever he goes. I feel like in those ten years, they had some kind of tension between them that wasn’t platonic in nature. Kiro would be passionate and show his adoration for the older man in actions rather than words — being loyal to his leader, following orders without any complaints. Wilk was calculated and cautious, hence he wasn’t verbally affectionate, but he’d always had his hand on Kiro’s shoulder in greeting or leaning into his bigger bulk when resting… there was definitely some quiet affection shared between the two of them.

Asirpa in the early parts of the manga tells Sugimoto that a lot of women fell in love with Wilk because of his fine motor skills, especially when crafting something from his own hands. I hc that Sofia wasn’t any different. In my mind, there was a point during their runaway days where Sofia asked Wilk to teach her how to hunt, and Wilk crafted her a simple knife Ainu-style while telling her stories about his childhood to pass the time (maybe she heard about the story of child Wilk and the wolf during this time). She started to fall for the man who was passionate about his heritage and was willing to do anything for the people he loved. When it was finished, Wilk brought her along to a two-man hunt. She wasn’t successful at hunting, despite Wilk’s instructions, but Wilk — who had caught their dinner for that night — encouraged her by telling her that she can practice hunting with him and Kiroranke if she wanted to.

Sofia can’t cook for shit, Kiro can manage, but Wilk was the master at their, er, makeshift kitchen. I can see Sofia being the Sugimoto to Kiroranke and Wilk’s Asirpa, wherein the boys would cook something that is “exotic” to Sofia’s tastes. Initially, she subconsciously balks at the ingredients and cooking processes, but then later reminds herself that her culture and their culture were equal — they both deserve the same respect and reverance. She ends up liking the mixed cuisines a lot. Also, Wilk who came from both Polish minorities and Ainu people probably did a lot of fusion dishes for fun.

I can see Sofia to be their spymaster. Sofia is a pretty woman, knows French and Russian, and isn’t wanted by the police. Hence, she’s the least suspicious out of the three. I bet that she was really good at her job because she’s a great actress. I’m willing to bet she used her aristocratic knowledge to steal from a fellow nobleman during their runaway years. The reason why she started slipping when it came to Hasegawa was because for the first time in ten years, she felt at peace (this was primarily because of the close presence of Olga, Hasegawa’s child). I can even extrapolate that she enjoyed holding Olga close to her because she would daydream of her own child with Wilk.

Wilk knew that both Kiroranke and Sofia loved him, but didn’t do anything about it. He also knew that Kiroranke was in love with Sofia, and made hints to Kiro that he knew, but he was passive when it came to emotions like that. Maybe he saw that maintaining the emotions and reciprocating even a tiny bit was beneficial for him as a leader. Although, I can see him being more partial to Kiroranke because of their shared goal.

Wilk has a great singing voice, I can see him as a baritone. Which means that his voice is well-suited for lullabies and humming. Sometimes when Wilk was on the watch for their group, he would hum songs from his childhood. Both Kiroranke and Sofia would pretend that they were already asleep to hear him quietly and gently string notes that would form soft lullabies about Ainu proverbs and stories. More often than not, they both fall asleep into deep slumber whenever they hear Wilk. It’s a soothing rumble, a very nice sound to let go of consciousness and clutch dreams.

All the Okita in Otome, ranked. Or not.

I had a bit of a hiatus while dealing with real life and shit, but I finally got around to playing all the games I know have been translated into English. Here’s the ultimate ranking of all the variations of my otome husbando.

Destined to Love (Cybird)

Please please please can you pull this app and redo it as Ikémen Bakumatsu with Yamada doing the art? I cannot deal with Okita, Sōji Okita of the Shinsengumi, whose swordmanship is nothing short of legendary, looking like some edgy marshmallow. C’mon, guys. You’re taking all sorts of liberties with history already, why stop there and not make him look the part? Just make Hijikata even hotter, everything will be fine.

Era of Samurai: Code of Love (Voltage)

Still one of my favourites even after venturing into the realm of premium games, although he looks too much like Leon for my liking (I guess that’s what you get with Voltage and also a byproduct of my refusal to even contemplate ever liking that lion even though, like for Iori in SITS, I clearly do and I just refuse to admit it, although I did exactly that a moment ago). His modern AU stereotypical indie kid version is everything. It’s like they made him for me.

Hakuoki (Otomate/Idea Factory)

Why do I love this Morikubo-voiced jerk more than my actual life? I have many questions to ask of myself and I don't even know if I really want to know the answers, but I have spent about £50 so he can be on my wall alongside another less jerky Morikubo character in what is slowly and not deliberately turning into a shrine to the man himself since his characters dominate my merch purchases. (Author’s note: This post has been a cumulative draft over a year or so, and I wrote this pre-Piofiore. It’s only gone worse since)

Hakuoki Sweet School Life

The god of chaos and love of my life. That’s it.

The Amazing Shinsengumi

Side note, what is it with games making Harada the hot one? Also let me romance this Hijikata please and thank you.

He’s hella cute and double-faced, which I tend to like, but also he appears to go through every trope I don’t like in the span of a conversation. 6/10, although solid 10 for looks. In fact, make it 20/10. Top 3 for looks with Voltage and Hakuoki.

Ninja Shadow

I keep forgetting that I did play this Okita (and it was my first while at that...) but even with that dream ponytail it’s not the greatest version. He’s a jokester, which is fun, and he hides a big dollop of angst as it’s right and just, but he was a bit OTT with the humour and it’s a strange storyline that does him a disservice.

Bakumatsu Renka Shinsengumi

If he doesn’t threaten to kill you is he even Okita? I’m living for that one CG that looks like he is Kondō and Hijikata’s kid, but aside from it being probably the most historically accurate of the otome portrayals (at least in localised games) he started off a bit of a disappointment for the same reason as Destined to Love. He was also not helped by the fact that Shinpachi has a brain, Sakamoto and Yamazaki exist and (omg, can’t believe I’m saying this) Hijikata and that line about loving his woman in Sanan’s route. However, when actually playing his scenes etc, he grew on me. I would happily go raise cats and babies with him like I would with his Hakuoki and Era of Samurai incarnations.

Dateless Love

I have questions. Why is this version Iba’s lovechild with Saito?

Why is he like Gin in Ayakashi Gohan if he was a soldier? Don’t get me wrong, I’m a major sucker for lovely characters going full on deadly from a moment to the next, so I’m digging it, I’m just extremely disoriented because Voltage is my canon Okita personality (Hakuoki took that and turned it up a notch and ruined my life in the process) and every deviation I’m like “new number who dis?”

It took him 10 chapters to show a hint of the teasing we all know and love. TEN. Out of like 15. I have had three kids with Tokugawa by now (and I don’t even do blondes. Except Ayumu. And best boy. And omg I’m still in the Kiro phase but also could be a Helios phase soooo 🫣 okay, fine, I do blondes). It was really cute tho and I watched him die in the good ending which is a plus.

Kiro the Koyote

Re-drew yet another one of my old Sonic ocs, lol. In his original design, he actually looked a lot like Link, because that's who I designed him after. But when I re-drew him, I had to change a lot of things on him since him looking like Link wouldn't really make sense since Link doesn't exist in Sonic's world XD. But the green cap I couldn't help but keep. It was too cute to discard. We'll say he got it at a convention on Earth or somethin' XD

Also, included a link below to another one of my ocs, Kio, bc ohmygod, do these two ever look alike. And I didn't realize how alike they looked until I was lookin' at 'em both side by side. OKAY SO UM……………….. fun fact, hajoon's birth name is jaram, he was named jaram by his biological parents (who, by the way, suck ass) his name was legally changed when he was adopted and he absolutely DESPISES his birth name with all means of he could he would burn it then throw the ashes into the grand canyon!!

hwan used to go to school in canada, since his parents also suck ass they shipped him off all the way across the ocean to finish his last two years of high school and he DESTROYED everyone because he was super smart and graduated the valedictorian!!!

kiro was born on VALENTINES DAY and he used to always have grand birthdays and stuff like that but now that he lives with meliora his bdays arent that grand and he usually hates the holiday itself

jaehwan was the final member to be chosen for the group and he was the replacement for someone else so it caused a lot of drama between him and his old trainee friends and they are HORRIBLE they betrayed him and everything 😭 (I WILL KILL THEM)

hajoon really likes flowers, his older sister is a florist and he can even understand floriography, he gets SO ARTISTIC when it comes to flowers he assigned each of the members their own flowers and their own symbolisms its crazy

junmin literally CANNOT be a leader he hates being the responsible one and he cant lead a team for the life of him he'd rather die than do so
