#(hopefully) #hi. i accidentally disappeared for a bit. #the burnout got to me ngl #haven't done a single creative thing all week #i did make it to the library though #my book for feb was i'm glad my mom died #i don't usually read nonfic but. i enjoyed it. i mean #as much as you can enjoy a book with that kind of subject matter #i read it in about a day. mostly in one sitting #i've gotten a head start on my march book & i'm genuinely almost regretting my pick #like. it's a compelling read & it's written in such a way that i want to know what happens but #it's fucking horrific. rarely do i need to put a book down & have a break but. i have done so several times w this book #i'm determined to finish it though. i need to know if there's like. a point to the horrors i'm experiencing or not #uhh i did also go dvd hunting #i found season 1 & season 2 of ATLA which were cool finds #i did find them at two different thrift stores which i thought was kinda funny #i'm probably gonna watch the new live action later but idk #n e way #rainyrambles

The 44-episode Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne anime series is getting a blu-ray box release on March 31st of 2023! The episodes will be provided in HD and the box will come with an original soundtrack CD for the series, something which has notably never been made available before.

The manufacturer bonus will be an acrylic keychain of Jeanne's costume, but depending on where you order the set from there will be other bonus items including:

Canvas art (Amazon jp), Can mirror (Rakuten books), Acrylic art stand (Sofmap Animega ), and a Bromide set (Yodobashi). All of these are limited in availability and subject to change.

Wakana 3rd Album Details Revealed & New Artist Visual

Following the little teasers from yesterday, we finally have some concrete news today.

Wakana’s 3rd original album 『そのさきへ』 ("Sono saki e") will be released physically/digitally on May 31st. The first new album in over 3 years welcomes Satoshi Takebe as producer and is comprised of a total of 10 tracks including the songs "標 (Shirushi)" composed by singer-songwriter Yoshiko Hanzaki, “明日を夢見て歌う(Asu wo Yume Mite Utau)” composed/arranged by Satoshi Takebe with lyrics written by Wakana as well as "Flag", a character theme song for the mobile app “Memento Mori”. Other songs will be announced at a later date. Please look forward to it.

[Comment from Wakana] This 3rd album "Sono Saki e (Beyond this point)" will be the first album in 3 years and 3 months since my previous work "magic moment". The title of this album came from the desire to “walk towards the future together”. We are all living in the same world, living in the same time. As long as we are alive, we are always moving forward. No matter how sad or painful things are, time won't stop or wait for us, we can't stand still. If there are people who feel loneliness in such a time, I want them to remember that they are not alone. I want to make the kind of music that always stays by someone's side. It's not an exaggeration but if my music can make you smile, it makes me happier than anything else. With the help of Satoshi Takebe and many other people, I was able to bring my thoughts and feelings to life. sleepy bc I accidentally stayed up late monologuing to myself about how free! really should have ended for the nth time 🥴

#imagine haru saying what he said to rin at the end of fs1 right. the ‘you always run away’ or w/e #and he’s angry but also upset w himself for saying it when he doesn’t REALLY mean it #and now he’s afraid he’s going to hurt his other friends so he secluded himself and throws himself into swimming #but his body is still shutting down! and albert is the one to say something #he says how he admired haru’s swimming. how the water favored him. but now something’s different. something’s wrong #and he says something that gets haru to listen. maybe haru’s a little stubborn and is like ‘stay out of this’ but it still gets #under his skin. so either he just goes to iwatobi or azuma tells him to #and he wanders around reliving memories. but they’re sort of staled now. he feels like he has no emotions. it’s like the start of s1 again #then he goes to their time capsule. and he digs it up. and inside are all their letters and the footage we saw of all his friends at the #beginning of fs1 on a dvd or thumb drive or smthn #he takes it home to his empty iwatobi house and plays it #at this point he is thinking about quitting. but then HE would be the one running away. and that fight with rin stings even more #and he doesn’t want to let his friends down. not when almost all of them are swimming Because of him #he’s so scared they’ll hate him or br angry. he wants to quit but he feels like he can’t bc who is he without swimming? #but then he watches the videos. and it mentions swimming sure. but he realizes all of his friends love him for HIM #and he can go back to tokyo and tell them everything he’s been thinking. about how he’s gonna quit. bc he just can’t do it #and of course they all support it. makoto does right out the gate. as does nagisa. rei cries a little bit he’d rather haru be happy #very similar to his choice in s1. he’s sad he can’t swim with haru. but he understood that the friendship comes first #and rin is maybe pissed. but you know he can’t be pissed for long. and he apologizes for putting haru on a pedestal #and then haru’s like well… I have to swim one final relay. so they sneak in and explain to the teammates at the last second and swap places #(none of that talking to the coach shit. I want them to commit crimes like they did in s1) #and they don’t care about winning they don’t care what the results are. they just want to see one final sight. share one final swim together #and it makes haru strong. but he’s accepted that competitive swimming isn’t for him. and he quits happily #maybe becomes a coach of sorts alongside makoto #anyway. stayed up late thinking abt it and now I’m in bed late writing it out #I did Not mean to do it it just Possesses me #i say things

Had a silly (au) idea just now at the gracefully hours of 1am while listening to CORE and Waterfall ost from Undertale;

Nine sometimes goes to like a really old garbage dump somewhere at the outskirts of New Yoke city, either looking for inspiration, searching for random scarps he could use later for some inventions or just to pass the time somewhere else besides his workshop.

Once, he manages to find a really old looking, yet still somehow preserved set of burnt (what I mean by that is like a personal set of videos uploaded o pre exinsting discs, I'm clarifying becasueim useure if Im using the right word) CDs/cassettes. They were not in the best shape, but not too damaged to be thrown back out and ignored either. And idk if CDs exist in New Yoke but for the sake of this idea let's say that no, everything is just Bluetooth holograms, Nine either reverse engineers or reinvents a cassete/CD player to see what the deal with these things he found is, cause he really has nothing better to do.

After he's finished with the player, he boots the contents of his findings on the monitor and speakers in his workshop, getting rather startled to see bright blue and green colors dancing round the monitor screen. The video is really scratched up and lagging, but the short burts of stable video show what appears to be an unprofessional, thought of the moment recording of a family (either mobian or human idk) having fun playing round in a garden and laughing their hearts off, nearly hypnotizes the fox.

There's a still frozen frame for a second. At the edges a little motion blurred, but still visible grass patch with a single apple tree somewhere in the corner and a bright blue sky over the top with a barely recognizable brur of a child running trough the lower corner.

Nine stands still, completely mesmerized and subcontiously reaching of for the screen. If a bomb were to go off right behind him, he wouldn't notice nor perhaps even register things happening outside of the screen before him.

The only reasonable explanation the fox could find for the images he was seeing and the jovial and unnatural sounds he was hearing, was that this recording had to be way from the past. Way from the times the rebels only ever dream of returning. Where green skies and blue grass exist. Where there was not a single robot or a skyscraper in sight and people were full of life and hope.
