and like she would be wary of her powers at first but eventually will lean further and further into them until she'll have bombastic number with shitton of cool lighting and ghost choreography

An innocent yet charged kiss leaves Dirk reeling and Lilith scrambling to stitch humor into the seams of a situation fraying at the edges. Apologies spilled from Lilith's lips, a desperate thread trying to mend the moment while her mind raced with 'what ifs.' The festival lights flicker, casting a soft glow on unspoken questions and half-hushed desires, the night wrapping around the quartet like a shroud of whispered maybes.

Most childhood homes have gardens. Swing sets. A pool. Maybe, at most, a hidden passageway to explore. Ophelia’s had a cemetery. When she was not yet old enough to know better, she thought that it must have been full of family members from centuries ago.

After the untimely deaths of Ophelia’s parents, their graves were delicately carved into, their names written in a decorative, curly font—lovingly, heartbreakingly picked out by young Ophelia herself. All of the other graves, however, had been left unmarked. Just slabs of stone carelessly jammed into the dirt.
