Something I find interesting about Cassidy's inclusion in Declassified is that despite being in Overwatch for around the same amount of time as Angela, he's not mentioned nearly as much as her, even in moments where he should be mentioned.

Such as his opinion on Moira is never mentioned, nor is his feeling about the take down of the Shimada clan and Genji's recruitment, his dynamics with other OW members other than Ana and Fareeha. This that would have been there is they were officially documented.

Which means Cassidy never made formal complaints on record, which makes sense as it's canon that Cassidy doesn't like paperwork, but that doesn't explain the fact that things shared verbally were also documented. Which means one (or a combination) of two things;

Cassidy personally made sure that he was officially documented as little as possible, which makes sense with the confirmation that little about Cassidy's past pre-Deadlock is known and he likes to keep it that way, often hiding behind his cowboy persona, making him one of the a more secretive character (probably on par with Sombra). Which means the the research team for this book didn't actually have the information I just mentioned.

That or, because of the fact that Gabriel and Gerard are dead in the public eye, Genji was widely viewed as a positive figure, and Moira had moved onto more successful things, that Cassidy was hit with the brunt of the blame for Blackwatch's actions, and since he would likely be one of the only key figures of Overwatch's history that would be wanted not only by several governments, but most likely by the UN itself, that the information they gave on Cassidy was the only information they were legally allowed to release. As Cassidy's arrest would be an ongoing case.

I just find it interesting that despite Cassidy being important in Ana and Reyes's story, he wasn't really given as much attention. There wasn't even a mention of Cassidy being on the team or just being the one looking for Ana after her death. It's suspicious and has implications.

ALSO IN THE LORE (nerd emoji) IT SAYS THAT HER CLAN FELL APART 12 YEARS AGO. WHEN SHE WAS 12. SHE WOULD HAVE TO BE AT LEAST 24.

Also her personality in game and in her cinematic ARE SO DIFFERENT.

SHES A PAIN TO PLAY AGAINST. LIKE WHY IS HER SUZU AN ANSWER TO BASICALLY EVERYTHING. EVEN ULTS.

LIKE SHE CAN LITERALLY THROW A SUZU AND BE IMMORTAL TO GET AWAY. ON TOP OF THAT SHE CAN TELEPORT SO EASILY LIKE ITS A PAIN TO KILL HER BECAUSE THIS GIRL GOES PLACES.

PLUS SHES NOT EVEN FUN TO PLAY LIKE YOU’RE BASICALLY FORCED TO PLAY HER JUST TO BE ABLE TO WIN. I SWEAR NO MATTER WHICH RANK IT IS NO ONE EVEN BAITS OUT HER SUZU SO SHES JUST PREPARING IT MAKING IT SO DIFFICULT FOR PEOPLE TO TRY AND GET KILLS.

WHATS WORSE IS HER KUNAIS. Kiriko does a lot of damage with no damage fallout so shes basically a mini hanzo. BEFORE SEASON 9 SHE WAS LITERALLY ABOUT TO TWO TAP YOU ACROSS THE MAP IF YOU’RE A SQUISHY AND FOR SOME REASON THAT WAS “BALANCED”

Even if she is meta shes just SO BORINGGGGGG!!!! Its just healing then shooting healing and shooting. With the increased health in season 9, you’ll literally be only focusing on healing so half her gameplay is just holding down the mouse button. ITS NOT EVEN CAUSE IM A BIASED LUCIO MAIN SHE JUST HAS NOTHING THAT MAKES HER INTERESTING OR ENJOYABLE BESIDES HER ULT!!!!

Why does she get the most stuff too. Kiriko gets at least one skin every season and almost every bundle is about her. There are some heros like brigette, ramattra, or sigma who get NOTHING. i get its to make money but i swear she basically gets everything and some heros are lucky to even get one thing every other season </3

Anyways i HATE kiriko. She sucks in every possible way. Blizzard remove her from the game pls

pros of learning how to play fighting game:

undergoing a learning experience, trying out something entirely different from anything i have previously played

i get to look at a little guy do cool things on my screen :)

cons of learning how to play fighting game:

i am clumsy as all hell with the inputs

the order in which you press and/or hold buttons to create inputs is less like trying to get a sequence of movements right and more like playing a rhythm game (down then while not letting go of down press forward then let go of down and THEN press an attack button on the other side of the keyboard). i suck at rhythm games. hell world

sometimes, the damn things just... won't register? at all? you do a half circle to forward input and the game says "half circle forward? oh, sorry, that's ensenga :)" or, worse, "too slow, that's a regular heavy slash move :)". brother. why must you do me like this.

the area between the knuckles of my ring and little finger hurts like a motherfucker (though this has hurt in various areas since at least this morning, but i'm willing to bet that practicing quarter and half circle inputs for at least an hour did not make the situation any better)
