What is Pandora Hearts Month? Pandora Hearts Month is an event that celebrates, well...Pandora Hearts, the manga created by Jun Mochizuki! Each day is a new prompt. The first three weeks celebrate the three main trios, and the fourth is a bonus week that celebrates any ships/friendships/ot3s fans chose and love--or simply any characters not covered by the other weeks! You can create edits, fanart, drabbles, fanfictions, amvs and mms...whatever you can think of, really!

Pandora Hearts Month 2022 (REDO) Prompts!

Hello all!

I have recently learned that the @phmonth2022 blog is experiencing some technical difficulties—and has for longer, and a greater extent, than I realized. I don't get notifications properly, I don't get notified at all if people tag the blog, my posts don't show up in site's tags, and it seems you have to click on the blog itself to see any of its posts.

It seems as though a number of people who wanted to participate in Phmonth22 in May/June...never saw the posts about it.

This means that we will now be doing a redo of Pandora Hearts Month 2022!

It will have the same exact prompts as before, allowing people who didn't see it before—and anyone who otherwise didn’t get the chance before—to participate now! It will occur at the same time as The Case Study of Vanitas Month 2022! (Check here for those prompts!)

Because of the phmonth2022 blog's issues, I am hosting it here on my ph (and vnc) sideblog @this-idiots-left-eye. I will reblog my posts on the @phmonth2022 blog, as well as my main blog @i-prefer-the-term-antihero but I will make the initial posts here.

Keep in mind that, as per your request, I do intend for there to be multiple prizes, at least one for the artists, and one for the fic writers!

I will revisit the prizes once phmonth22 ends!

Phmonth22 Prizes and Potential Redo

Hello all!

As you may have seen on my latest post, I have recently learned that the @phmonth2022 blog is experiencing some technical difficulties--and has for longer, and a greater extent, than I realized. I don't get notifications properly, I don't get notified at all if people tag the blog, my posts don't show up in site's tags, and it seems you have to click on the blog itself to see any of its posts.

This, of course...is a massive hindrance to hosting events on this blog.

I have contacted the Tumblr staff but, as far as I know, they have not replied or fixed the problem yet, and I'm not certain whether they will.

I believe all these problems occurred during Phmonth22 in May/June.

This might mean that a lot of people who wanted to participate in Phmonth22...never saw the posts about it.

I was wondering, would you guys like to do a redo of Phmonth22? It would be a repeat of the same exact prompts, just allowing people who didn't see it before participate now. I would host it on my ph (and vnc) sideblog @this-idiots-left-eye. Perhaps we could do it the same time as vncmonth22? Or we could do it earlier or later.

Also, I said I would do a raffle for phmonth22, with prizes from the ph 15th anniversary shop. I ordered the prizes, however, I used a proxy I don't usually use, and in May they emailed me to basically say "They might come in June, and they might come in November." I was holding out that it'd be sooner, but, well...it's looking like November.

However, I have multiple copies of the Chained ph zine to offer as prizes if you guys would rather have those, and get your prizes sooner. One of the copies has all the merch included.

If you guys want a redo of Phmonth22, I will wait to decide anything about the prizes until the redo finishes and we have more potential recipients (everyone who participated in the original phmonth22 will still be eligible).

If you don't want a redo, would you guys prefer to have the ph zines as prizes sooner?

I THOUGHT THIS PART FROM VNC CHAPTER 62 LOOKED FAMILIAR

i mean they're not. the exact same but they are very similar to each other!!

Also this could just be me but I feel like that these two have a lot of parallels. Break's family are the Rainsworths, who are not his biological family. Johann's family is Dante and Riche, who also not his biological family.

When someone they care about dies/gets threaten their first instinct is murder. When the Sinclairs died Break killed 116 people to bring them back, and when he thought Reim had been permanently dead he killed Fang. When Vanitas had threaten to kill Dante, Johann told him that he'll kill him if he meddles with his family.

Another thing they have in common is that there both, how do I put this, angry in some way/some point in their life? Break had been bitter and depress after returning from the Abyss but then learned to smile again because of Shelly. Johann... Okay, I can't say much about Johann because not much has been revealed about him yet BUT he definitely is sketchy!! With how the Dhampirs are treated it wouldn't be far off to say he would be angry at the world/society. He also has been shown to not like Noé much. Johann has also been shown to be very protective of Dante and Riche, so it's possible that he could've been similar to how Break had acted in the past, and now has something to live for and would do ANYTHING to protect it.

Another thing I'm just now realizing and probably should've brought up first but they have similar vibes/atmospheres. Though Johann is more flirtatious and Break is more... Weird. I guess. Eccentric, if you want a fancy word. They're also have this whole... How do I explain it? They're good at observing/analyzing things is I guess the best way to explain it?

I think I'm gonna stop there, there was something else I kind of wanted to talk about but I think it was a little bit of a stench fkdjgfjdf. I could be wrong about some of these, I didn't mean to write this much so basically all of it I wrote on a whim. Whatever my brain thought of I wrote down which resulted in this (which reading over it might be noticeable considering this post is kinda a mess kgjkfjgjfj). There's also the fact that some of the Johann stuff was just speculation, which could 100% be wrong. But I do think some of it I'm right about!!

i think it's one of the worst parts of my mental illness when i unintentionally develop a really REALLY intense interest and it happens to be not a normal interest but an actual real person (not even the dead ones unfortunately) i do my best not to act like some creepy stalker (..it's very important to me for obvious reasons so um. i really do nothing inappropriate but i MIGHT act a bit too stupid but like. that's all i suppose.) but it feels SO FUCKING....
