Android Donald AU Idea

I was hit by a variant of an Android Donald au I've seen on here (this one, to be specific) while at work and I wanna share it. This is pre-dt17/in the same universe. Potentially pre-Spear of Selene as well.

Basically, Donald gets hurt really bad while out fighting. Like really, really bad. He manages to drag himself back to Ducklair Tower, but he's basically in critical condition. Uno isn't as ready as he would have liked for this, but he does have something that can help.

It's basically a healing pod that Ducklair (or maybe Uno himself) had made that wasn't any good for commercial/hospital use because of how much the material cost was and took a lot of time to do its job. But it would take a long time and Donald's family would notice if he just- went missing for a year (or likely longer). It could buy him, buy them, some time to figure out a more efficient way to heal Donald.

But he knows Scrooge and Della are off on an adventure at the moment (Donald had mentioned that it seemed like a long one this time), so he has roughly a month to come up with a plan.

He also has Layla and a tremendous laboratory at his disposal (and he's a supercomputer).

And he hits on something that should allow Donald's body the time it needs to heal as well as keep anyone from getting suspicious.

It's honestly a simple plan overall.

He makes an android body that looks like Donald and (through handwaved science things) he transfers the duck's consciousness to it and makes a link to his own servers with it. Even connecting himself to the body to make sure he can help/make sure he's alright at any time while this is set up.

Donald can pilot the droid body to keep his family from knowing that he'd been hurt while his real body is in the healing pod recovering. And, with the direct link to Uno, he can basically have his partner at a moment's call and even just- Have another person "with" him while dealing with his family. (Also, finances. Uno is a godsend for dealing with all the numbers that Donald just doesn't have a head for.)

The two of them continue this charade for a while, sometimes with Uno actually being with/in Donald's head for a few adventures.

Until Ducklair comes back and (unknowingly) royally screws up the previously smoothly working plan before vanishing into the aether again.

When he shuts down Uno and locks down the tower, Uno actually has part of his AI in Donald. So he's not gone, but he is cut off from his main network. He is still able to get data for the healing pod which is still working, thank the stars. But they can't get to it now since it's locked behind the security of Ducklair Tower.

Both of them are Stressed:tm: about this but there isn't much they can do. So they make do with what they have to work with and keep going. And things mostly go well.

Then the Spear of Selene happens and the duo have a whole new pot of issues to deal with.

Raising triplets is hard, but Uno and the scanners built into the android body make it easier. And Uno is down to help out with more than just that. So things are fairly good, if not as good as either of them would have liked.

Huey, Dewy, and Louie don't know that their Uncle is an android but they do know about Uno.

Since the two shared a body, it was impossible for the boys to never learn about Uno. But since they're really young, Donald and Uno agree that they probably won't understand that Uno is an AI. Advanced computer engineering and robotics are a bit beyond the understanding of a trio of four-year-olds.

The boys end up thinking that Uno is the ghost of a really smart scientist-friend of their Unlce that's possessing him now because he was locked out of his house by his wizard dad. (It wasn't explained in those words, but that was what the boys came away from the conversation thinking.) They have to keep Uncle Uno a secret because otherwise someone might think he was hurting Uncle Donald and would try to make him go away. And their Uncle Uno is cool and knows all kinds of cool things and they don't want someone to make him leave. So they promise to help keep him a secret.

Fast forward to the start of dt17.

A DT17 episode (in the third season) where Webby + Huey start suspecting that Scrooge is Paperinik/Duck Avenger, so they convince the other children to keep this as a secret until they got enough evidences to make Scrooge talk. Della noticed fast, agreed and then told it only to Donald, who promised that he wouldn't mention anything.

When they through had got enough evidences, they went after Scrooge and literally put him against the wall.

"C'mon! We know your secret! There's no escapatory!"

"What secret? Kids, what are ye talking about?"

"Yeah, what secret, kids?" Paperinik just appeared behind them, mysterious as always.

"Wait, if DA is there, and uncle Scrooge is here, who are you?" Dewey asked.

"It must be a clone! No one can do the things he does, but Scrooge McDuck!" Webby pointed.

"Am I? Or I'm somebody else? Or even an illusion from all Duckburgians' minds? A collective delirium? What am I to you?" Duck Avenger made the things worse.

Probabilly with the years of improve he had, as a whisper, Paperinik just disappeared in the front of their eyes, leaving the most famous duck family totally shocked and back to square one in that mystery.

Odin Eidolon + Uno and his brothers drawn as a characters of Donald Quest (Inducks link: https://inducks.org/comp2.php?hero=Donald+Quest&imgmode=1&sort1=auto ).

So, I was reading Donal Quest (again), and started to think how well Odin would fit in this space-vikings narrative. And of course I had to add Uno, Due and Custodian as his assistants.

Since is seems that I'm unable to draw anything without adding some lore in there, here's the story: a new villain, ruthless magicianeer and warlord Moldrock, is coming to Feudarnia. Only one who knows how to beat him is the great magicianeer, Everett Ducklair, but is current whereabout are unknown. Gyro, who was once mentored by Everett, sends Donald to meet his last discipline (and possible son?), eccentric loner Odin Eidolon, who might have some insight to his location.

After Everett left, Odin was left on duty to keep an eye on all his invetions and spellbooks, and can't leave his post, but he does lend Donald one of his assistants, Uno, to guiode his way to mysterious Dhasamburgh, where his master retreat. He chose Uno, since he's the people-person and the only one of them who shows any interest towards outside world; Due is rather misantrophic by nature and Custodian just refuses to leave his home.

Hello, I've noticed you've been posting about PKNA/PKNE, Wizards of Mickey and other Topolino-related comics. I'd love to be part of that online coomunity, if it exists, can you help me? And do you know of some way to read the new comics in english?

Hey there! Most of PK has been translated and the scanlations are floating around on Tumblr as well as more specialized places like Bankin' the Duck. Not sure about Wizards of Mickey, but thankfully those comics have been released in my language pretty consistently. (Unlike PK, which is still running behind... I'm sort-of following what's going on with the new comics but I have deliberately not actually read the newer comics!)

There's a couple of different communities, but I guess other than the Papersera forum (which is not that much fun if you don't understand Italian), most of it happens here and on Discord. At Duckscord, we have a couple of separate channels for topics such as PK, WOM, DoubleDuck and so on, and we're generally a friendly community.

Paperinik Villains

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know where I could find a list of the villains for Paperinik/Duck Avenger?

I know there are more than just the ones that appear in PKNE but I just can't find a list with their names so I could look them up. Could I get some help finding or even making one?

I know the Mad Ducktor, but it feels like he's the only non-pkne villain I know about.

Dewey: It was so cool! He looked deep in their eyes, they were freezing of fear!

Siblins: Korinna, Juniper and Eldos (plus very confused Uno).

Little background: this is based on PKNE #6: The Event Horizon, and on my own (unfinished) AU where Eldos Eidolon (Odin's future version) came to help Korinna so that she wasn't pulled into another dimension, and then they all just... bonded.

Here they are saying goodbyes, and Korinna, in a very "big-sistery" way, cannot resist to roughhouse him just a little bit before letting him go - all in good nature, of course. Juniper is holding Uno, since he's now considered as their baby-brother and the sisters have decided that he clearly needs some help to realize that Everett really isn't all that great in this parenting-thing as he still seems to think...

About my version of Eldos... He's much, much younger that Odin, about the same age as Korinna & Juniper (maybe little yonger?), and is officially known as his grand-nephew.

I was told by lilium2034 about his headcanon where Odin has one green and one red eye, due to his dualistic kind. I thought that was neat, but didn't really fit to my Odin. But when it comes to Eldos... Well, he's young and has a strong rebellious streak, especially in everything what comes to Everett (which is why he and Korinna get along so well from the very start!), so it would be just his style to add this little feature, just to remind their creator that "you really scewed up back then, didn't you?"

I took some inspiration into his clother from the armor Odin was wearing in PKNE #1: Might and Power.
