r is so unintentionally babygirl-coded like that is my babygirl idc what anyone says like you Cannot see him in all his 6-foot-tall-grandpa-sweater-tea-drinking-werewolf glory and look me dead in the eyes and say that you don't want to dip him into a pot of melted chocolate like a strawberry or lather him onto some toast like honey .
he is my babygirl and i think if i was an animal in a zoo enclosure. like a tiger or an alligator or some type. of predator well i hope my allocated zookeepers would hang him by the waist from a tree branch for me to jump and snap at like a chunk of meat that they’re not only trying to feed me with but that they’re also trying to use as a source of enrichment/stimulation for me

I saw the ask game but I have other questions. How do you come up with plots for stories? do you plan the plot out in advanced or start with a general concept/direction for the story and go from there? what about an AU catches your interest enough to write a story? have you always been passionate about writing or was it something that developed over time/later?
how do you come up with plots for stories?
usually they just pop into my head!! I have notebooks stashed all over the house and in my bags so I can scribble down snippets of plot or dialogue that comes to me, and my notes app is filled with little blurbs and plot ideas! I refer to those little snippets if I can't think of anything to write, but usually I don't have a problem having the plot just....come to me lol
do you plan the plot out in advance or start with a general concept/direction for the story and go from there?
it depends!! for the shorter oneshots I post pretty often, I usually just start out with the basics: which characters are involved, what they do, where they go, etc. as I write, the rest of the story starts to flow!
for the bigger fics, though, like the Pacific Rim AU and the zombie apocalypse fic I'm working on now, I do plot more of it out! simply because they're all so long, with so many characters and moving parts that it'd be impossible to just write and follow the flow! I usually start out with the general idea of what I want to write, and a few key scenes for each character/relationship arc, and then I start connecting them all together to form a general timeline! most of the smaller bits in between the larger arcs are written on the spot, though. I don't have the patience or structure to plan out everything to the last detail lmao
what about an AU catches your interest enough to write a story?
it depends!! if it's something I already know very well/am already fixated on, like Pacific Rim or RWBY, all it takes is someone (or myself) going "what would happen if..." and my brain takes it away. for other AUs that don't have a specific connection to me (like the zombie apocalypse fic), if I have a specific ship/character in mind, I'll be interested enough for the initial Brainrot, and if more ideas pertaining to the AU come to me, I'll start planning, but if they don't, the AU just sorta,,,goes dormant in my head. it's still there, and if anyone happened to mention something relating to it I'll suddenly start having thoughts again, but it'll more than likely just. stay in my brain and continue to be rotated like a potato in the microwave
have you always been passionate about writing or has it developed over time?
yep! reading and writing have always been passions of mine! I was creating characters since I can remember, and putting them in situations since I knew what situations were. I've always known that I'd want to be a writer when I grew up!
how do playlists contribute to your writing?
the VIBES, man. I listen to them while I'm writing, and if I ever hit a wall and can't write any more, I can just listen to the playlist while I do other things, and that'll give me inspiration to write some more!
do you use the lyrics as inspiration, mood setting, or anything else?
mood setting, mostly! I start making playlists after I've already planned out most of the fic, so I choose songs that fit what I've already written or what I plan to write later. the lyrics reflect characters, situations, relationships, or sometimes just the General Vibe of the overall fic. I also sometimes include orchestral songs in the playlists, and those just convey vibes!

Dead ass just had someone ask me if pads expire 🧍♂️
I even asked if they meant if they needed to be changed after a certain period of time cause they seemed unsure of their wording
But no, they just reiterated “if they’re left in the packaging for a long time will they expire”
No explanation as to what led them to think this or be concerned of the possibility just “do pads expire”

So at my workplace, we fund a Food Is Free shelf. It's the basics: take what you need, give what you can - our town has a high level of poverty, there's a cost of living crisis, be the good you want to see in the world etc etc.
Today we had a guy knock on the door and ask if we had a plastic bag he could use to carry a few things - I said sure, got him a plastic bag, and he started packing up his 2 rolls of toilet paper, his 3 or 4 foodstuff items. He said he'd been to a funeral out of town (1500 kms away) and spent his paycheck on fuel - he was only broke till Friday, he said.
And I said, well I'm glad we could help, it's why we have the shelf. We want the community to use it.
And he said:
But people ABUSE it! I've seen people take heaps of stuff from it - and they don't even have kids or anything. And it's fair enough, some people are struggling until the next paycheck, but other people just ABUSE it. You need a sign that says TAKE ONE ITEM ONLY or something. I've taken something from here maybe twice, but I've seen people coming round every week! I've even put stuff on the shelf! Yeah, you need CAMERAS or something. People abuse it.
So here is a man who is actively utilising a public resource that we created to support our local community...And yet he is so brainwashed by capitalism into thinking that people don't deserve basic needs - if they're not working hard, or maybe they're struggling but they don't have it As Bad as others, or they're using a FREE RESOURCE more often than HE thinks is acceptable. He thinks that we should use security cameras to crack down on people "STEALING" from the Food is FREE shelf. Like he's more worthy, like he's a better person, because he doesn't need as much help as others might.
Sometimes, when something is free, people might abuse it. But isn't it better to offer the support to people who need it? To offer an opportunity for people to get back on their feet (even if they're only broke till Friday)? To provide help, no questions asked and no conditions needed?
So what if people abuse it - isn't it worth it if helps someone?

my apartment does not have lights on the ceiling (15 foot ceiling) (loft apartment). where there IS a light is on the wall. the wall next to the ladder. the ladder that goes to the loft. the loft that I was climbing down from when I fell off the ladder (goes to the loft) and kicked the light (on the wall by the ladder) with my foot (fell off the ladder (ladder to the loft)) broke the light (light on the WALL) while falling off the ladder (loft ladder (EXTREMELY non-accessible) (highly unsafe while drunk or tired)) and now the wall light is broken and there's plastic shards in my heel .
