Noah is canonically the youngest of eight sibling. Eight.

You don't grow up in a family that large, as the youngest and therefore the favourite victim, and not have a super casual relationship with touch.

This guy is light enough to be literally blown away by a strong breeze; if you think even for a second that his family didn't take turns carrying him around like a briefcase and abducting him from whatever he was doing into a Family Pile™ then you're objectively wrong.

(You also can't convince me that he wasn't spoiled rotten as the baby of the family.)

So frequent platonic touching is pretty normal for him, expected even, and he tends to be more tactile than his personality or demeanour would suggest.

He gives Owen side-hugs and pats on the arm every time the two interact, and wilfully flops himself onto Eva whenever he's overwhelmed and wants the company of someone comparatively quiet (she always uses it as an excuse to carry him to the gym and encourage him to bulk up, though it never works). He tries to tire out Izzy's boundless energy by play-fighting and grappling with her (much to his chagrin) despite him essentially ending up as her glorified chew toy, and often times passes out due to being a stick insect in human form.

It's unexpected, just how casually clingy he is to the people he trusts/likes.

But you know who isn't used to physical contact?

Cody E.J. "my parents forgot my birthday" Anderson

This wet noodle of a boy bigs himself up as a ladies' man and a hot commodity but wouldn't know what to do with himself if someone held his hand. The concept of affection of any kind is so foreign to him, especially positive physical contact- I wouldn't be surprised if he could count the amount of hugs his parents had given him on one hand.

And this is backed by his canonical desperation for acknowledgement! Every time he pursues Gwen, even when he's directly shot down and sometimes harshly rejected, he still tries to win her affections and festers the delusion that she likes him. After all, everyone who's supposed to care about him does the same! His parents, 'friends' or lack thereof, ect.; they all ignore/rebuff him so it must be a sign of endearment.

Additionally, he sleeps with a stuffed emu at the ripe age of 16/17- as stated by Sierra, which he never denies (not that there's anything wrong with that, stuffed animals are top tier imho). You know who else sleeps with stuffed animals? Touch-starved people.

Cody is incredibly attention-starved, touch-starved and, post World Tour, in all likelihood somewhat touch-averse- at least when it comes to other people initiating contact.

To elaborate; Sierra is constantly breaching his personal bubble non-consensually, which would inadvertently condition anyone into being at least a little haphephobic, but Cody himself is more than happy to instigate contact with people he trusts (i.e. hugging Alejandro when he protects Cody from Sierra overnight in Rapa Phooey!).

...See where I'm going with this?

We see these two cuddling twice in canon; once in the Awake-a-thon and again in the Celebrity Manhunt. Once is happenstance, but twice indicates a pattern or coincidence but I'm going to gloss over that for the sake of this post.

Plus, with their consistent proximity during Action, they had plenty of time to form some type of relationship be it friendly or more.

(Wouldn't you want to at the very least get some closure from the guy who kissed you/you kissed for the world to see? It would be awkward to completely ignore each other, and they literally shared a cabin at one point so it's not like they were strangers either. So of course they're at least cordial from Action onwards.)

Then, as Noah becomes more comfortable around Cody, his tactile tendancies come to play.

Cody, predictably, reacts skittishly at the alien phenomenon known as friendly touch and tries to play it off to preserve his cool-guy image. Except Noah's not falling for it. He's observant, if emotionally illiterate, and watching the guy you just backpatted in greeting jump five feet into the air and screech like a falcon is a flashing red alarm for even the most empathetically challenged people.

Eventually, Noah gets Cody to divulge his issues with human contact and offers his assistance to the brunette. If giving his pal a hug every now and then, and letting him in turn initiate whatever he's comfortable with, would help him overcome his rocky relationship with touch then Noah is more than happy to oblige. It's not like it's out of the norm for him, so he doesn't mind at all.

Then, gradually, Cody loses his touch aversion.

But a lifetime of isolation won't be magically cured that easily, and he finds himself craving Noah's embrace more and more. Again, the taller of the two is content to give him what he wants. Their agreement evolves into the duo napping together and feeding into Noah's sleep-hugging habit, or just spending quality time in a heap of pretzeled limbs under a weighted blanket.

(Whether their relationship is platonic or romantic is entirely up to interpretation, though I'm partial to the two being friends who are just Like That since it allows for the funniest potential character interactions. The bromance is real.)

That's as good a place as any to end the post, before I end up writing a whole drabble.

Ace-Aro DJ

I was starting to skim Island for headcanon proof and I didn't even have to go far for it!

"Not So Happy Campers Part 1" has this:

Duncan's remark of "She's all yours, man." Makes DJ give this face.

Yeah, the point of this scene could be 'blah, blah. Eva is undesirable' but we were just shown that Cody was trying to flirt with her too, and Duncan himself was turned off by her attitude/strength.

Then, Justin is announced! Everyone's surprised or delighted to see him. Everyone except...

Even Duncan whom I headcanon as closeted bi is surprised.

DJ is the only one who makes two faces in this scene-- confused and then frowning. (Coincidentially, I'm also an aromantic Justin truther, but he's not who this post is about.)

Now this scene!

In "X-treme Torture", the way Bridgette disproves DJ is the one who wrote that mystery haiku is... him deflecting.

...now that I'm typing this out, it feels like I can't word this well, but I hope you guys feel the same aro vibes I do in that particular interaction.

(We also need more smug DJ and DJ with bite moments tbh!)

No pictures for these next two examples of proof, since they're dialogue-based.

In "Up The Creek" DJ offers romantic advice to Geoff by comparing it to something he knows, that is, luring in a rabbit to feed.

In World Tour's Japan episode, he compares Alejandro's smooth moves being irresistible to his mom's gravy.

I think DJ is romance+sex repulsed, but he clearly has a thorough understanding of it. He was raised by two people in love!

He's emotionally mature and well rounded in physical activities too. His moms raised him well! He just feels uncomfortable when people make romantic remarks/advances toward him.

He has no qualms in affectionate touches or contact. (See also: my DJ+Lindsay Friendship post!)

Except, when there's a romantic or sexual layer added to it:

In this case (Action's "Aftermath II"), Geoff suggested off-screen that Gwen was being cozy with DJ when he just saved her life! He's clearly bothered by it, even though he was just talking pleasantly with Gwen.

In "Newf Kids on the Block" there's also that hot dog scene. (I've hit the picture limit TwT,) When Owen hits on DJ for Noah to try and get him into a alliance with Team Chris, DJ makes this face again.

Yeah, yeah there's the gay joke here, but given DJ's character we know thus far: chill, kind and soft-hearted. He wouldn't be homophobic.

(Again, even if it was accidental or fanon, he has two moms. Plus, he's been shown to accept things more easily than others, like being on good terms with Gwen in Action after the Trent ordeal. I highly doubt someone's sexuality would deter DJ from being nice, if morality or social pressure doesn't.)

Anyway, though. It serves to add to my point. He's made that face (or one similar to it) when it comes to romantically suggestive situations!

He's also one of the only campers (if not the only one, I'm not really thinking hard about the other 99 contestants.) whose storylines have never revolved or included attraction in any way.

In conclusion: aro/ace DJ. 💙

don't know if this has been asked before or if you have answered this already, but how does the afterparty (I don't remember the name exactly, but the eliminated contestants plus the contestants that didn't get in) feel about this whole situation between cody, noah and sierra, are they being being stupid like duncan or mean and malicious like alejandro, are they on noahs and codys side or sierras? how do the rest of team e-scope feel about it (eva and izzy), are they ready to fight sierra for hurting noah and cody?

also, how do their families? specifically noahs, since codys mother and father are implied to be neglectful and likely wouldn't care to watch a show their son was on and I don't know if its the same in your au, sierras we don't know (I can't remember if we ever met her family members), and noah we know to have 8 sisters and a mom and since noahs like. the baby - I think their reactions are going to be very interesting if they are even established at all

This ask actually made me pause and seriously think about the Peanut Gallery. So I made a bullet list of all the contestants in the Peanut Gallery and their (mostly) individual opinions on the situation. I'll let you decide if they're stupid or not

Katie and Sadie: Sympathize with Sierra. All she is is a girl in love, who's Noah to ruin that?! Like, soooo not cool!

DJ: Doesn't sympathize with Sierra, but doesn't agree with how noco kissed without setting her straight. Isn't really on anyone's side.

Leshawna: Does not like Sierra's persistence. Completely understands Noah and Cody doing what they do behind her back.

Harold: Compelled to agree with Leshawna. Also likes Cody, therefore feels bad he has to deal with Sierra. He's happy Noah makes him happy.

Beth: Thinks Noco's "forbidden love" situation is super sweet and sappy. She's on their side.

Justin: Cannot fathom why Cody would want to be with Noah when Sierra is so much prettier and treats him like a God. Also doesn't like Noah in general.

Trent: Is happy Cody's happy with Noah, but feels bad Sierra's heartbroken, regardless of what she's done. Mostly neutral.

Izzy: Noticed Noah had a crush during her time on the game, but only found out it was on Cody when she watched the London episode. She's proud he went after who he wanted. Got a pit in her stomach when Sierra attacked Noah in Greece.

Eva: Finds the whole situation incredibly stupid. Cannot understand how love makes Sierra so obsessed. Would maim her if she had the chance. Someone put them in the ring, actually.

Lindsay: Is not paying attention. Sees Tyler is friends with Noah (more on that later) so she likes Noah too!

Gwen: Made friends with Cody in the first half of the season and helped him out with his feelings for Noah where she could. Understands Sierra's insane and feels bad for Cody.

Owen: Feels awful about ever doubting Noah after watching Alejandro try to manipulate Cody by flirting with Noah. Plans to apologize to Noah as soon as he sees him again.

Now about their families (which I also had not thought too much about before this ask). They're on a scale to me. Cody's parents are on the "Not watching the show at all" extreme of the scale, Sierra's mom (cause I don't think she has a dad?) is on the "Obsessively watching the show" extreme of the scale, and Noah's family is somewhere in the middle, tuning in and out. Cody will come home, have his parents ask "How was the trip?", he'll answer an empty "fine" and they'll move on. Sierra's mom is loudly cheering her daughter on, cause she knows if she was there instead of her daughter, she'd be doing the same thing to Chris. She's proud of her for going after Cody and has an unhealthy hatred for Noah for getting in the way. For the first half of the season, Noah's family would watch the episodes as they aired if they could catch them. Most of them were there for London though. After that they started putting in more effort to catch the episodes. His parents are mostly worried for his well being, but his siblings are mostly cheering for him and Cody with every episode. They're gonna jump him (with affection) when he gets home.

hold on let me brainrot real quick

- she had already started to have a bad feeling when noah and cody started to become friends. at that point she had completely isolated cody from most other people saying it was to "keep him safe" and that she "didnt want anyone to hurt him". she had convinced cody that she had gotten better and cody believed it due to his parents being socially distant, basically ceasing all contact with them after he became an adult, somewhat because of sierra. and when she walked into codys house one day (using a spare key that he hid under a flower pot on the table on his porch.. wonder how she knew that) and saw noah and cody on the couch cuddling all her fears came true. she immediately started watching noah like a hawk while trying (and failing) to seem nice to him, noah can see right through it however

- she has bpd (projection lol) because her parents were busy working to provide for her and her little sister who she basically had to become the mother for, meaning she lacked the proper attention she needed as a child. she had found comfort in total drama and especially cody, soon finding herself obsessed with it. her dad had given here a laptop to entertain herself when they werent home and she used this to blog about total drama.

- she somewhat still has a crush on cameron but she is more obsessed with cody. plus cameron is too busy being a scientist working for an important company (and kissing lightning lol) for her to go for him

- (tw murder, suicide) she had killed owen to frame noah for killing his best friend. however her past accomplice, and wife of owen, izzy, catches on that shes the one who did it, so sierra has to shut her up.. and after she plans on coming after her and owens daughter, ozzy (yeah ik using the ship name as the kids name but ozzy is an actual name ok so its fine 😭) who noah and cody were now tasked to take care for after izzy and noah had a long talk about owens death, she had promised she would figure out who did it, failing to tell noah about her suspicions about sierra before she disappeared and soon her presumed suicide note was found and reported on. noah was devastated, because unlike sierra she had actually gotten better and her and noah started to warm up to each other.

- now to talk about her and heathers homoerotic relationship. they had reconnected at a reunion with all the other ex contestants, which is also where noah and cody also reconnected too, which sierra noticed to be a threat, so she planned to become good friends with heather, who is now a detective. and become good friends they did.

A really nice anon complemented my Noah redesign and asked for some headcanons about his relationship with his teammates if he didn’t get eliminated so quick in TDI. BUT IM A FUCKING IDIOT AND I ACCIDENTALLY DELETED THE ASK FROM MY INBOX😭😭 But here are the headcanons anyway LMFAOO also thank you so much anon for the complement and taking an interest in my ideas🫶

Anyways I’d like to start off with a little bit about Noah himself— I think the reason so many people love him is because despite being a stereotypical nerd himself, he has the somewhat fourth-wall-breaking ability to recognize other characters’ stereotypes, which is super interesting and definitely makes his relationship with them more complex.

Beth: I don’t feel like Noah would ever really get along with Beth, he’d probably be annoyed by her desperation to make friends and her sucking up to Heather.  

Cody: Initially, I think Noah would dislike Cody for the same reason he dislikes Beth. However, as he got to know him more, he’d come to appreciate Cody’s well-hidden nerdiness and love for maths and sciences. They’d be secret nerdy friends— and Noah would totally rip on Cody all the time for his crush on Gwen.

Gwen: I think Noah and Gwen would totally get along! Because Gwen has a younger brother and Noah is the youngest of nine kids, they would definitely click instantly; especially because of their refusal to adhere to social norms. They don’t need to hang out with a bunch of dorks to feel better about themselves. Noah and Gwen also share another similarity in that they are prickly on the outside but care a lot about their family. They’d both share the same sentiment of “We’re the only normal people on this show.”

Heather: Noah, being as smart as he is, would very quickly see through Heather’s facade and figure out that her awful attitude and excessive makeup are compensating for something. He figures she must’ve been ugly in middle school, or something, and he understands why she acts the way she does now. However, his understanding does not equate to forgiveness. Noah would hate her for her cruelty towards the other contestants, but at the same time, be impressed by some of her schemes. He might not appreciate her methods, but he admires her dedication and genius. Perhaps a mutual understanding could be reached between them— that they’re both the smartest, and maybe an alliance between them could work…

Justin: Noah understands that Justin’s existence on the show is solely because of his pretty face. However. That does not stop him from occasionally being manipulated by that pretty face.

Leshawna: Noah and Leshawna would definitely have a rocky start. She would not put up with his snarky attitude. But eventually, through their mutual friend Gwen, they’d come to understand each other. Of course they’d still argue and bicker, but Noah would admire her secret heart of gold and Leshawna would decide that he’s a pretty cool little dude.

Lindsay: Lindsay’s about as sharp as a frosted cupcake, which would make you think that Noah would hate her, but it’s actually quite the opposite. He’s jealous of her blissful ignorance, and finds her persistent kindness remarkable. Of course, those feelings on the inside don’t stop him from being a sarcastic prick on the outside. He wishes Heather would release Lindsay from her claws.

Owen: Owen! They’ll quickly become best buds. It may seem like an unlikely match, but Owen finds the pitter-patter of Noah’s feet endearing and his sarcastic jokes hilarious, while Noah admires that Owen’s got a lot of heart. Owen’s cheerful optimism is the perfect compliment to his little buddy’s sarcastic pessimism. 

Trent: Noah would appreciate that Trent’s a straight shooter who tells it like it is. Plus, it’s pretty much impossible to dislike Trent— he’s just so cool. He’s also secretly kinda smart, and Noah is always willing to conspire with a fellow smarty-pants.

I submitted a take a while ago saying how I would do all stars as a full season, 20 contestants, aftermath episodes, ect. So here's how I'd cast it and why.

Gen 1 (10 contestants):

Beth - not only does she have a lot of unused potential, she was a finalist. She has a lot of knowledge of other characters as well as relations with many of them.

Cody - final three in world tour, plus he's a fan favorite. Could work for a lot of friendships and alliances.

Courtney - we're obviously going to need the whole love triangle here. Courtney is super strong, a controversial character, brings TONS of drama, goes far in every season (well, except 1), so she's an all-stars necessity.

Duncan - again, love triangle. Also a controversial character with tons of drama. And made it really far in every season.

Gwen - love triangle! Super important character and tons of drama like the previous two.

Harold - the star of action, great character relations to be used, just a good move to have in all stars.

Heather - the classic villain who competes every season. Made it to final three twice and about halfway through the game in action.

Leshawna - I can't believe they didn't bring her back. She's always reliable for mixing things up, has strong friends and stronger enemies, and was totally robbed every season. She's a fan favorite too.

Lindsay - underestimated fan favorite. Plus, she could've made so many new relationships because she NEVER got to make new friends and that's unfair. I love Lindsay. I wouldn't make her the first boot either.

Owen - again, can't believe he didn't make it. He's THE fan favorite. As well as the in-universe fan favorite. A fun filler character. Definitely needed.

Gen 2 (5 contestants):

Anne Maria - since I'm doing a lot of fan favorites, Anne Maria has to come back. Also, it is assumed that the contestants of TDAS came back willingly (Gwen said she only came back for Courtney, Duncan only came back for Gwen, ect.). She wanted that money BADLY. She would totally come willingly.

Brick - potential, fan favorite, best character no doubt about it I just really like Brick WE NEED BRICK.

Jo - totally could've badassed her way through. Jo is strong, arguable, and has drama potential.

Lightning - he's Lightning why wouldn't he be here.

Scott - a villain, he just better not be used dumbly this season.

Gen 3 (5 contestants):

Amy - where Sammy goes, Amy follows. She could play an excellent villain role and has potential to be used as Heather’s sidekick. Personally, I think Heather would use her and it would totally work.

Jasmine - strong, competitive, everything you need for an all star.

Sammy - she had SO MUCH potential. I literally thought she would be a Pahkitew finalist when I first started watching. She’s resilient, she’s dramatic, she’s all-star-tastic!

Shawn - finalist and could definitely be used again. Also a fan favorite.

Sky - finalist, strong, I could see her fitting in with Gwen and Leshawna. She could definitely rival villains really well.

Why I didn’t cast certain characters (excluding self explanatory ones):

Alejandro - I think it would be great if he just was in the aftermath. And he fought his brother about Heather in the aftermath. And he would be salty about being in the aftermath. Yeah.

Bridgette and Geoff - they are the aftermath hosts and I’m doing aftermath episodes! If I wasn’t, I would probably cast one of them in place of Harold or Cody or something.

Cameron, Mike, and Zoey - honestly I don’t think they need to come back. I don’t want the whole Mal thing, either. Their plots were all pretty resolved as of Revenge of the Island. And they kind of ruined Cameron in All Stars???

Dakota and Sam - I just don’t think they need to return I don’t know why Sam returned but if Dakota and Sam made out in the aftermath to rival Bridgette and Geoff I think it would be really funny.

Dave - I hope he died on the island uh anyways.

Dawn - a fan favorite and probably could be used again, but nah. She doesn’t have enough potential.

DJ - he’s a fan favorite, however, he doesn’t bring that much drama with him. And didn’t exactly make it very far in most seasons. I would make him very important in the aftermath, though.

Ella - she’s a fan favorite and fun and everything, but she just doesn’t have very much drama potential.

Izzy - I think she’s been on enough. However, I would include her in challenges as a little treat.

Justin - while he’s a fan favorite and a fun character, he didn’t do anything. Not even in action. I swear he was supposed to be a villain but he just wasn’t??? Plus, I think he wouldn’t ever come back to Total Drama if he could help it.

Max and Scarlett - first off, Chris wouldn’t let Scarlett back on the show if he himself got a million bucks. And I hate Max he can die anyways.

Noah - I know he seems like he should be one of the self-explanatory ones, I think Noah has a lot of potential. But that potential isn’t canon. And he probably wouldn’t compete if he didn’t have to.

Sierra - she’s not a fan favorite, at least from what I know, and I want her to be separate from Cody. She really doesn’t need to compete again.

Sugar - I think she’s like a Geoff kind of character- did one season good and never competes again.

Trent - I KNOW I KNOW I think him coming back would be good, but I think it would be even better to have him in the aftermath. He doesn’t need to compete anymore, but I would rather see him being really major in the aftermath episodes and with Bridgette and Geoff.

Buzzing Lights (Noco Ficlet)

“I can’t believe your dad kicked us out,” Heather stated.

It was just past sunset. The park had a faint smell of rain from earlier that day, the pavement was ever-so-slightly wet, and the lights above the baseball fields buzzed quietly. It was dark, dark enough that the sign listing the rules, one of them being the park is only open dawn to dusk, was unseen.

“Duncan literally stole his wallet. I don't know what more you want from him,” Noah responded blankly. “Would your parents not kick us out? Because if they wouldn’t that says a lot about your family.”

“Well, he could’ve just thrown Duncan out, but he had to take all of us out. I mean, I guess being slow runs in the family.”

“I’m actually a very fast runner,” Lindsay argued. “But my dad is a little slow.”

“See what I mean?”

Noah rolled his eyes. He couldn’t believe Owen managed to drag him to another party with his homeroom, one at Lindsay’s house no less. What he also couldn’t believe is the fact that Lindsay would actually invite Duncan to her house. Of course, after Duncan decided to go and start robbing the family, effectively getting all the kids kicked out. Now, they were walking around a local park aimlessly.

Duncan just shrugged at the conversation. “You gotta do what you gotta do.”

“Well hey, it’s a nice night!” Geoff smiled, optimistic as always. “I think me and Bridge are gonna go find a place to watch the stars.”

“Hey, not a bad idea,” Duncan grinned as the two blondes departed from the group to find somewhere to sit. “Courtney, would you-”

“Not in a million years, Duncan,” Courtney responded. “Especially not after you robbed Lindsay’s parents.”

“Worth a shot,” Duncan replied.

“Courtney, let’s go on the swings!” Gwen suggested, pointing at the swing set standing on its own separate from the playground.

“Sure,” Courtney smiled.

“Don’t you leave me here with these crazies,” Leshawna called, following them. After a moment, Trent followed them as well.

Heather, Lindsay, and Beth headed to the bleachers to paint their nails. Alejandro, Duncan, DJ, and Tyler headed for the field where they saw an abandoned soccer ball. Everyone slowly split up from the group, going off with their own friends, leaving Cody and Noah heading to the woods.

“You sure we should go in there?” Noah asked.

“I know my way,” Cody argued. “I’ve been here a million times.”

It wasn’t like Noah had anything better to do, anyway. Eva, Izzy, and Owen went climbing fences so he wouldn’t want to hang out with them. Going for a walk in the woods was tame and required little effort. Plus, Cody knew what he was doing.

Well, not really.

After about twenty minutes of walking and Cody ranting about anything and everything, they decided to turn back. It was even darker than it was earlier, and Noah could barely see Cody.

He heard a clunk. “Wait, where are we?” Cody voiced.

“Are you serious right now?” Noah responded. “I thought you knew where we were going.”

“I just hit my leg on something and I have no idea where we are. Sorry.”

Noah let out a sharp sigh. Great.

Lost in the woods with Cody of all people. Maybe Izzy or Eva would be able to find their way back being the crazy people they were, or Owen could find his way back with the promise of food, but Cody?

Then Noah felt another hand touch his.

“I just don’t wanna lose you,” Cody justified the action, lacing his fingers into Noah’s. “In the woods, that is.”

Noah felt his heartbeat speed up, but blamed it on the fact that he was lost in the woods at night. He wasn’t scared, but what else would it be?

And he tripped.

“Ow, Jesus,” he exclaimed, letting go of Cody’s hand.

“Woah, sorry.” Cody crouched. “Are you okay?”

“I just fell really hard.”

“Are you bleeding?”

Noah felt the area directly below the knee he fell on. “Yeah. A little.”

“Okay, um, we’ll get band-aids when we get back. We can wash your cut in the bathrooms.”

Noah nodded, but then remembered he couldn’t see Cody. “Uh, yeah.”

Cody took Noah’s hand again and began walking slowly, not wanting to fall again. Noah stuck his free arm out so he wouldn’t run into anything again.

“Man, this would be a lot easier if Izzy was here,” Cody stated.

Noah snorted. “Yeah. The girl has night vision.” His hand hit a bush. “I guess we have to turn here.”

“Wait. Stick your foot out to the right.”

Noah did so. “Okay?”

“So there’s two paths here. I think we need to go left.”

“I guess you know better than me. If you’re not right though, I’m going to be mad.”

“No no, I know where we are now.”

Noah sighed. For the rest of the walk they didn’t talk much. There wasn’t much more to say.

“Oh hey, we’re back,” Cody smiled. The buzzing lights were visible and shone light on the path. “We can make it to the bathrooms from here,” Cody grinned and let go of Noah’s hand.

Noah nodded, following him, but longing to hold Cody’s hand again.

Mega NoCo post p.3

Here’s part 3 of the mega NoCo post

So now we go to world tour where most people say NoCo lacks however I personally disagree here’s why

While some may say that because Cody develops feelings for Gwen in this season it disqualifies it I don’t think so because the writers originally intended Gwen and Trent to stay together this implies in the universe the writers wanted that Cody would have never went after Gwen in world tour even if we ignore Gwent originally being kept in world tour we must accept the fact that Cody could very well be forcing himself to go after Gwen as even in the show it feels forced

Now between Noah and Cody more subliminal queer coding because as there names are announced they are put right next to each other Chris announces noah then Cody similarly announcing Duncan then Courtney

In the first episode they stand next to each other

Parallel with them standing right next to Lashawna and Harold at some point it becomes obvious the queer coding is quiet strong here in WT

Then in the same episode

All the couples stand next to each other Lashawna and Harold, Courtney and Duncan,Owen and Izzy even Alejandro and heather

And hey what do you know Cody and Noah as well right next to each other

Then while they are running they run next to eachother it leads up to this scene

Noah and Cody standing next to each other as Owen and Izzy do similar with one standing in front and one behind like a perfect parallel to Owen and Izzy

Then in the tunnels Noah seems to be in a rush? For what? Noah never really cares?

Is it possible he is trying to hurry up to catch up with Cody so they don’t get separated?

Then in a song LITERALLY called “lovin time”

Yup but I’m sure there no coding there whatsoever….

Not to long after this scene occurs

Where Noah defends Cody against Sierra yet he’s the only one to do so he’s says the famous “ooo stalkerlichous” line but it could be pointed out that he’s really being protective of Cody and even this is one of the 2 interactions Sierra and Noah have the only other one?

Where he yet again defends her with the “considering buying myself a life on Craigslist” line these two never have a positive interaction and seemingly Noah only ever criticizes her on the Cody thing.

Lindsay and Tyler sit next to each other and hey there joe what do ya know Noah and Cody to sit next to each other as well as Izzy sitting next to them which clearly provides some parallels and some friendship between Izzy and Noah which is always a plus

And it should be noted the scene where Owen claims Noah said and I quote about dj “he says your legs are really nice”

Now while it could be said this is a joke looking at this through queer coding shows a much different lens notice how they never explicitly say that this was a lie all Noah says in response is “yeah cause that’s exactly what I told him to say” almost confirming the fact that he said that this is a perfect example of queer coding making jokes about the character and yet again not confirming or denying the actions of them in a homosexual context

As well as this scene

Really guys? Of all characters they just so happened to pick Noah to be picked up by Alejandro in this episode? And look at the looks he’s giving him this is obvious queer coding that is being put in here to argue anything else at this point is strange

Then this famous scene

Well I wonder how he knows that …

Seriously this gives off the vibes of a couple teasing each other similar to what Duncan and Courtney have and I think there is queer coding there as well

Then this scene in the same episode

There’s no excuse here my man is looking up and down this is the face of a man checking someone out mind you Cody feels comfortable about venting to Noah which only adds

Now for being on separate teams they do have quite a bit of interactions even though eventually it does stop with of course Noah getting eliminated

We however do get some queer coding for Cody

Similar to what happened with Noah a character famous with the ladies seems to also get looks from these two males characters

Suspicious…

Noah however does go on to support Cody in the end and while most say this means that Noah support the lesser of the two other evils however with all this evidence it’s safe to say he was supporting Cody as a “friend”

But even in the end of the season

Yup right next to each other mind you Geoff and Bridgette also stand next to each other as do Gwen and Trent so parallels still exist

With all being said I think there’s a clear showing that the two at the very least are very very close friends and the evidence provided for the ship is more than enough in my opinion

But with one final scene even though it’s not direct they are seen right next to each other and in fact closer to him than Owen

(Also couples are next to couples and friends next to friends in yacht so the idea the writers put Cody here of all places really does a to the theory)

Married to Bridgette after buying a house together

After total drama they decided go to couple’s therapy because they want to let out all of the issues

Have two kids with Bridgette twin boys(6)

The oldest (by two minutes) is Dylan (meaning son of the ocean) and the youngest(by two minutes) is Isaac(meaning laughter)

Geoff is a stay at home dad but doesn’t want Bridgette do everything so once in while he’ll take the kids to a friend’s house(usually Brody) or a daycare(if anyone’s busy) to do a small gig

The gigs are usually something small like ‘mow someone’s yard’ or ‘walk someone’s dog’ that kind of thing

He talks to everyone from total drama(except for Beth, Heather and Alejandro, Blaineley*Mildred*) and talks to few people from rr

If I’m being honest Geoff goes to Dwayne for advice of being a father(especially when Bridgette was pregnant)

If someone ask him about total drama or rr Geoff will say he will never regret signing up to island and rr was the best experience, just ended the conversation with ‘Both shows hold a special place in my heart for helping me find my true love and friends’

Is currently engaged with Tyler and planning to get married in the warmest time in Paris

After total drama she started to work on her brain and she’s getting better at remember Tyler

To be honest she kinda have a small insecurity that Tyler will leave her because she’s bad at remembering but Tyler always reassures her that no girl can replace the girl who stays loyal to him

She hasn’t thought of having kids but will happily be mother if that ever happens in the future

Is a godmother to Beth’s kids and she always happily watch the kids if Beth needed a break

Is a model(obvi) and slowly becoming well known

Honestly tried to make her own clothes but she always ended up bleeding

She talks to Beth(obvi), Owen, Dj, Justin, Cody, Geoff, Duncan, Heather(surprisingly)

If someone ask her about total drama it will take Lindsay a moment before she remembers being on the show she’ll just say ‘I don’t know much but all I know I have a awesome time on action y’know the one with movie set?’

After total drama she kinda avoided Alejandro for quite awhile until they bumped into each other at a park and just gave him her number so he can shut up about it but she didn’t think it would turned to more

At first it was their usual bickering but slowly they started to flirt and sometime later started dating

They dated for about 3 years until Alejandro proposed to her in a fancy restaurant and now they are newlyweds

Heather hates kids(mostly little kids)but if she ever accidentally gets pregnant she doesn’t want to abandon the kid because that proves to her that she’s just like her parents (plus Alejandro will beg her to keep it)

Works as a powerful business woman

Made a brand of making your hair silky smooth and healthy it’s popularity is growing rapidly which is good

She goes no contact with her parents(they tried to contact her but she always blocked them) and still is in contact with some of her siblings(the ones who know why Heather doesn’t want anything to do with their parents)

She stills in contact with Beth and Lindsay, Dj, occasionally talks to Harold and Courtney, once in awhile she’ll talks to Gwen, Trent, Lashawna

If she heard anything related about total drama she shout ‘Don’t you ever mention that freak of a show around me ever again!’
