Yandere! Queen Myrrah Concept
Pairing: Romantic/Platonic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Overprotective behavior, Possessive behavior, Manipulation, Kidnapping, Human pet mention, Slight sadism, Violence, Murder, Isolation, Blood, Forced companionship/relationship.
There are two ways I typically think Myrrah could be written as a yandere.
If she is a platonic yandere, I imagine she'd take you in as some sort of heir.
Due to her "losing her daughter" she may see a young human like you as a replacement, despite her hatred of humans.
She thinks she'll teach you right and purify you of all those human lies.
If she's a romantic yandere I imagine she abducts you with a group of other humans, intending to make you an experiment.
However, upon seeing the prisoners, she decides she'd much rather have you as a human pet.
Her obsession would then continue from there.
Myrrah has an evident hatred towards humans due to them taking the surface and her experiences growing up in a lab.
She herself is technically human... but she considers herself Locust and is superior to any human in her mind.
Despite her intentions you meet her nearly the same way.
You come down to The Hollow as a human prisoner, only for Myrrah to become attached to you in one way or another.
In a way she feels she's probably saving you from being corrupted by humanity.
She plans to keep you to herself and is willing to remove any human or Locust who steps out of line.
I would expect Myrrah to be highly manipulative and possessive over you.
No human but you (and her) ever get in her palace in The Hollow.
Plus tons of heavily armored Locust swarm the palace.
Safe to say the moment Myrrah takes you in, there's not getting back to the surface.
In fact, it was either siding with her or your death.
Myrrah considers this mercy, but really there was no good choice for you.
Since this is a general concept I will try to keep Myrrah's actions towards you ambiguous.
You are heavily protected since you are so important to The Queen.
Locust guards are always appointed around you and they make sure you rarely leave the palace.
Myrrah's goal is to remove humans to have you and her people safe and away from Imulsion.
The Lambent epidemic is a huge concern for her, especially when she thinks she can easily lose you to it.
She may be immune, but you and her people are not.
This is another reason she refuses to have you leave.
Myrrah acts condescending at times, but you mean a ton to her.
She'll act like she's above you (she is) before becoming softer and embracing you.
Myrrah is able to telepathically order Locusts around.
She'd tell them how much you mean to her and how they should treat you like you are an extension of their queen.
No harm should ever come to you.
In response I feel some Locust, at least the Generals and High ranking ones, have a feeling of attachment to you too.
Caring for you is like caring for their queen.
Caring for you will make their queen happy.
Which means you'll have Locust like RAAM or Skorge around you, eagerly trying to attend to you as Myrrah orders.
Armored Kantus and Palace Guards are the most common Locust type to watch over you for Myrrah.
Myrrah is capable of being affectionate at times.
She primarily shows she cares through words of praise and affirmation, occasionally throwing in some sort of name she calls you.
However she may seat you on her lap or hold you close.
A kiss on the forehead if platonic, a kiss on the lips if romantic.
Stuff like that.
Myrrah is ruthless when it comes to others around you.
If the COG ever storm her palace and try to harm you, she'll have them killed.
If a Locust gets too comfortable around you, she has them sent off or even executed.
Wronging you is wronging her, an offense punishable by death.
Myrrah takes her obsession very seriously.
After all, it is a great honor to be one of the only humans she tolerates.
Even Adam Fenix disappointed her... you won't do the same, she knows it.
Myrrah doesn't care how much blood is spilled to keep you.
As a queen she's claimed you and expects you obedience, she even feels she's entitled to you.
I wouldn't necessarily call her all that jealous, but her patience certainly begins to wane the longer someone she doesn't like is around you.
She knows she may have kidnapped you and forced her to live in The Hollow...
But hopefully you won't have to much longer.
She'll find a way to eradicate humanity and move you all to the surface, then you can see the sun again and be free from the possibility of turning Lambent.
She's doing you a favor by removing you from the vermin, you should be grateful she's picked you.

In the series of "Hel forgor" here have THIS
Myrrah's third eye design.
Her third eye works independently of the other two. It serves more as a layer of sorts, like if both your eyes allow you to see in 3D easily, Myrrah can see in 4 or 5D or smth-
Since it's an approach of true sight, she has partial perception. Aura detection, lie detection and corruption detection are her three current abilities, and she has an easier time perceiving emotions or murderous intent (esp since her lover's death).
But since it works independently, that eye fixiates itself on the person with the most secrets and keeping only this one open doesn't allow Myrrah to see at all. She uses that fact to sleep with the eye open but can't control it completely, thus why it's unfocused here

It's legitimately shocking that Ben and Anthony Carmine were more flushed out characters than Kait is in G4 and 5, she wants to be Queen Myrrah so bad in terms of what an absolute bad bitch she was in the overall series, Kait just Mr. Magoo'ing the plot along, at least JD lived up to the legacy Marcus left, sad shit man

You know that au we've been talking about for a bit after you sent and indoctrinated me with all of the gears game movies?
Could you please make a small scenario for the Locust Princess AU?
I Don't mind if it is one of the generals, Delta squad, or that one poor simping drone we joked about.
Friend, I give you... the silly. I couldn't think of a plot for a scenario so this is more of an imagine/me sharing the idea more than anything :( Happy I indoctrinated you though, lol. I appear to be good at it as some of my followers have told me.
Yandere! Locust Drone with Locust Princess! Darling
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Female Darling, Obsession, Stalking, Protective behavior, Worship yandere, Social class differences, Unrequited love/one sided obsession, Mentions of mate.
So before I've talked about the Locust Generals with a darling who was Myrrah's kid.
Well, an idea that came to mind that I spoke with the requester about was if a drone fell for a Locust Princess! Darling.
Imagine, the Drone is aware he's only a drone.
He isn't worthy of coming close to you.
He knows he must serve you and his queen.
Yet he wishes to be more than expendable.
Just think about it, the idea of a Locust Drone following you around like a puppy.
Wherever you go or appear in The Hollow, he's there.
He hates that he is barred access from the palace, however.
Only high ranked Locust get to be near you.
As a result, if he doesn't die in the process, I imagine he'd try his best to rank up for you.
Imagine a Drone working hard and showing exceptional talent to the point he rises in the ranks of the Horde.
It's a struggle but certainly possible.
This Locust is honestly just desperate to win the approval of his favorite princess.
Even if you never feel the same he still tries his best.
Soon he becomes more than a foot soldier, earning a name for himself.
Maybe he becomes a Theron Guard, learning the art of the Torque Bow.
He still isn't high enough to get into the palace but soon he will be.
He still follows you wherever you can be seen and snatches up any information he can get.
He loves both his Princess and Queen.
Yet he hopes he has a chance with you.
He worships the ground you walk on and is ecstatic when he manages to get the rank of Palace Guard.
As a Palace Guard is all of his intricate golden armor he can finally get closer to you.
Now he follows you even more, always one step away.
He's eager and happy that he's finally been given the role of your guard.
He's surprised he's alive at this point but would give everything to defend you.
In the Rise of RAAM comics it's shown that Locust have their own personalities and aren't mindless.
I imagine this one fantasizes of being your mate and one true partner.
He is a completely loyal puppy to you.
Imagine the once lowly Drone footsoldier, now promoted to Palace Guard, living for your praise.
He bows to you, hisses how wonderful you are, and vows he's yours.
The Generals find this particular Drone odd, but Myrrah allows you to do whatever you wish with him
At this point it seems he's happy with being your little plaything if you so choose.
Maybe you find him creepy of annoying... or maybe like your mother you feel a sadistic sense of wanting to tease him.
The Guard doesn't complain, all he wants is you to praise him.
Imagine your newly chosen Guard getting jealous at other Locust passing by.
He's worked hard to get into this position, to be near you, he'd be a fool if he allowed those lesser than you to get near.
I imagine there's a lot of hissing and threats to keep you as his.
In his eyes, you're his and he's yours.
Yet your view is most likely different.
You see him as just a guard, not a partner.
Despite this you're told to reward his loyalty.
The Guard is willing to die for you, he defends you with his life.
The least you could do is reward him a little, yes?
He's easy to manipulate with your power.
You can do whatever you please with him.
A simple touch to his exposed skin or praise has the Guard growling at the sensation.
He's worked so hard to get to this point.
Now he's here... in your presence... and yours... he'll do anything, such as kill, to stay right here where he feels he belongs.
He's yours to use and abuse just to keep you happy.

Final boss, fighting against a fucking god, when you see your partner who promised you a country of peace jump in front of your other partner to save her life and instantly fall in coma by two blades in the chest, but stress is giving you insane willpower and you're finally acting like the queen you used to be.
And you have to keep fighting through the pain.
No matter what.
Myrrah is a healer, dw she healed them both, but oh boi the scolding after that-

Game Journal 05/03/20: A New Hope.....Research Facility Plot Thread.
*Spoilers for Act 3 of Gears Tactics And Gears V*
The Coalition sure does love New Hope Research Facility and the truth about the Locust! Fresh off Gears V, where they finally elucidated on the bombshell that Epic sort of ....just left lying around unfinished in Gears of War 2 (That being the Locust and queen Myrrah are both the result of failed research experiments on Rustlung and therefore created by the COG), They’ve dipped their toes in the same bombshell reveal again for the main conflict of Gears Tactics. While there isn’t a whole ton of new information to impart (except that someone other than Chairman Prescott and Delta Squad knew about the facility) I do love the implications it brings to the table for the long tail future of the Gears universe, and the desperation it shows on the part of Prescott and the barely functional government to keep the truth about the war hidden.
Naturally, finding out the COG created the very monsters that have resulted in, by the end of Gears of War 3, 99% of the human population of Sera being wiped out makes Gabe Diaz furious. It puts why he’d form the outsiders so many years later, even after the end of the locust war, into stark perspective. Even the new COG wasn’t keen to inform it’s citizenry of the fact the worlds near extinction (and even current threat in their mutated “Swarm” identity) was the fault of their predecessors. The same goes for Prescott, shown here in Gears Tactics to be even more quietly desperate to suppress than information than before. The moment Gabe gives him the false coordinates for where their camp is, he immediately Hammer of Dawn strikes the mountain he thinks they’re on and obliterates any trace any human being may have left there.
It sells the level of desperation Prescott hits in the middle of Gears of War 2 that he would send anybody at all to New Hope, when here he immediately tries to vaporize a squad he personally sent on a similar mission the moment one of them mentions “New Hope” without even a shred of context. I’ve thought a lot about Prescott, especially after reading the books and his sad desperation to hold the COG together under his web of lies. It’s even harder now to believe that dude managed to hold anything together at all. Said web of lies was unraveling all the way up to the end of his life, and we only learn more about it the further into the fiction we go.
Random Screenshot Of The Day:
Not a game screenshot sure, but I’ve been reading the Mark Waid run of Daredevil again, this is one of my all time favorite runs of comics, and without a doubt my favorite version of Daredevil. It finally looks at the character of Matt Murdock in a way not defined by constant tragedy and trauma. It’s still one of the few times post Frank Miller that this character has had anything interesting to say to me as a reader, and it says a lot in it’s roughly 50 issue run.
Stray Game Notes:
- Aside from the story stuff, Gears Tactics continues to be a ton of fun! I’m shocked I love a tactics game this much!
- Played a bit more Yakuza Kiwami 2, beat up a guy who claims he runs “The 16 Bit Gang”, Yakuza is weird.
