You want to hear the most "Karen" story ever?

Last year, during lunch service on a Sunday, there was an older gentleman (wearing a World War II Veteran hat, to give you an idea of how old we're talking) sitting at a table eating lunch with his family. And then he slumped over in his chair and became non-responsive. He was breathing, he had a pulse, he just kind of deflated. So, naturally, we called 911. The paramedics came, said he had probably had a stroke, and they loaded him up onto the stretcher and wheeled him out of there. I don't know what happened to him after that; I hope that he was all right.

Anyway, a woman at a table nearby complained to management, that the paramedics coming in and wheeling someone out on a stretcher had ruined the ambiance of her lunch.

Like, ma'am. This man had a stroke. A potentially life-threatening medical emergency. And you're going to complain about that?

This one was a campaign against yelp more than bad reviews, but iirc it started because they wanted to be delisted from yelp and yelp wouldn't comply was some stupid reviews on there as well that they had some entertaining responses to.

Place sold to Mtn. Mikes pizza few years back but the website is still up and is funny as hell to read.

#misc #je vais essayer de décrire peut-être que ça dira quelque chose à quelqu'un #c'est une sorte de ville fortifiée au bord de la mer #comme ça je dirais mer méditerranée parce que c'était un eau calme #mais peut-être que c'est l'Atlantique #en gros c'est une espèce de vieille ville creusée à moitié dans de la roche blanche #il y a plein d'alcôves avec des arches style église #donc je me demande si c'est pas un lieu religieux à la base plutôt #et comme c'est creusé dans la falaise il y a plein d'étages #après quand on s'éloigne ça devient une ville touristique normale avec plein de restau etc. #mais ces petites alcôves (grottes?) où on peut observer la mer sont trop belles #déso c'est pas clair du tout mais je viens de me réveiller et ca #me taraude #je peux pas avoir rêvé deux fois à l'identique ??? #le lieu qui y ressemble le plus c'est les rochers de Biarritz avec les petirs ponts mais c'est pas ça
