Some worms as picture tax for a little update

Hal-con was good! Overall sales were good though I was hoping for a little more tbh 😅 I sacrificed 2 days during crunch time for stickers and we sold a handful but that did mean a few things didn't get finished in time and likely contributed to the lower final sales 💔

Spent the last couple days mostly asleep and recovering from the con lol but I also got some amazing news yesterday:

My top surgery will be next week!!

Since Im local and self-employed, the surgeon called me up when they had a sudden opening and I'll be going in late next week :D

I'm not 100% sure how this will affect my shop restock and other things but I'm thinking I'll try and get some things prepped up that I can still finish during recovery if I have the energy. I imagine a lot of time will be sleeping and chilling though 😴

Spent the past week mostly asleep tbh xD

When I wasn't asleep I was just chillin and cutting out more stickers. I may put them up on etsy while my main shop is still being re-worked?

Other than that I've been prepping for surgery which unfortunately means dumping ~700$ on various things but the upside is some of those are actually very nice 🥺

Got a pricey pillow Ive wanted for a while and it's so nice 😭💜 My mom even offered to cover the cost of it plus the set of wedge pillows which is a huge help (pillows are so expensive!!). Grabbed some other essentials and some thrift store clothes that are very soft or smooth textures (and therefore hopefully will be nice and soothing while my nerves are all scrambled). Being locked into unpleasant textures on my skin is incredibly panic inducing for me and its honestly my biggest worry when it comes to recovery.

I did also treat myself and went a little nuts buying new books 😅💦 Will make a separate post for that since this one is already pretty long lol

Now I just have to force myself to get some chores done before surgery while my brain tries to convince me to just go back to sleep 😣
