watched drop dead gorgeous last night. it was not quite what I expected. some really funny bits, a lot less murder than I expected, and all the jokes around hank went way too far and were deeply uncomfortable. overall pretty fun and campy but I don't think I'd watch it again and it didn't live up to how much my old gay work dad hyped it up to me.

So I read i burnt thick candles aloft to shine the beauties bright by anorangecarrot and it’s an absolute delight so far. I definitely recommend it!

It also has me thinking up some alternative AU ideas…

There are loads of stories where Shen Yuan and Shen Jiu are siblings, plus some where Shen Yuan is his own character but comes across Shen Jiu as a child, but how about one where Shen Yuan transmigrates as Qiu Haitang from the start?

Shen Yuan having the advantage of A) a past life’s worth of experience, B) being genre savvy, C) being terrified of Shen Jiu’s future murderous breakdown, and D) not being blinded by ‘her’ love of ‘her’ brother, would absolutely figure out what’s going on with his new brother being a shit to Shen Jiu.

The story could go so many different interesting routes from there!

Shen Yuan wouldn’t abide by the abuse for sure, but while he’d be more privileged as a young mistress then he would be as a fellow slave, he’d still be stuck as a teenage girl in the Xianxia equivalent of ancient China. His hands would still be rather tied.

I think my favorite idea is Shen Jiu quickly picking up on how off Qiu Haitang’s behavior has been recently (he’s the future peak lord of the strategy peak, so he’d absolutely notice), and somehow getting Shen Yuan to “admit” that his fever swapped out some of ‘her’ present life memories with those from his past life (Shen Yuan probably couldn’t sell the transmigration idea, but past life memories are true enough). They then become a “fuck you Qiu Jianluo” fake-fiancés but actual sworn-siblings tag team.

Shen Jiu helps teach Shen Yuan how to manipulate people and act as ‘herself,’ while Shen Yuan acts as a genuine supportive force in Shen Jiu’s young life, and uses ‘her’ relative privilege to get them both the tools necessary to at least start cultivating properly.

Naturally they both escape to Cang Qiong Mountain eventually (possibly with some amount of murder still).

Which peak ‘Qiu Haitang’ joins, and what gendered form Shen Yuan is living in by the time Shen Qingqiu takes over as peak lord, has plenty of possibilities.

For laughs, maybe they found Airplane’s ripoff version of the cursed springs of Jusenkyo from Ranma 1/2, or something similar, so Shen Yuan actually goes back and forth. (If anyone could manage the required number of fiancés for a Ranma 1/2 ripoff, it’s Shen Yuan!)

Naturally once Luo Binghe finds his way into the sect, he’ll end up smitten with Shen Yuan in whatever form. He’ll have to stew in envy over the fake-fiancé and/or ex-fiancé current sworn-sibling situation though. Even with an improved outlook and more support, Shen Jiu probably still doesn’t like him much.

(Binghe would most likely end up in the abyss reguardless, to Shen Yuan’s frustration, because suddenly being outed as a demon when the sects are currently under attack by demons, is never a good thing, despite his and Shen Qingqiu’s altered antagonism levels).

That’s all my thoughts on this for now, but I’d love to hear what ideas anyone else might have along these lines!

"You're a tourist in the mushroom kingdom when as the final destination of your tour around the country, you decide to visit the castle, where the country's princess "peach" lives and works. As you go to the castle peach greets you and a couple of other tourist like you, you're lucky that you've arrived in the castle's short time period where it's open for the general public(it's useally for 4 hours in the afternoon) You guys see many parts of the castle, just wondering in awe by the infrastructure, but as you do this you accidentally go away from the tour group, now you try finding your way back when one of the doors you open leads to the enclosed backyard which functions as a garden. For a minute you forgot that you just got lost and look around, many type's of wonderful plants are here, although it's mostly flowers and fruit bush's, as you look around you see a pink rose-like which has a crown on the top of it, you can't believe that flower has a crown on the top of it so you lean closer, but as you do the rose suddenly brusts out pollen, and that makes you cough and barely take in oxygen, but after that inital shock, you begin to feel differently, sweet aroma's take over your sense's and your vision becomes blurry and colorful, and then your mind completely blanks out…

5 Hours Later

Peach strolls into the garden to water some plants and to calm herself down for a bit and forget the international relations conflic about fruit export with the mobius country,and as she does that she hears moaning sounds. "Wh-who is it" - says as she handles the watering can into an attacking position, looks around and sees a fellow human completely delirous, just knocked out on the gravel "Oh your poor thing" - says as she runs to you "What happened over here?" - says again as she looks to the plant you where sleeping by. "Dang it, it's those peach flowers again that e.gadd gave me for my birthday, i mean i appricate his efforts to create some flowers based on human liknesses with science, but they are causing me way too much trouble in the spring time when these emit pollen daily. I mean the amount of guys i needed to have sex with just cause the flowers makes them extremely horny for me and the only way to counteract it is to fuck them are way too high for someone like me", she then sighs. "And you're gonna be one of these lucky bastards don't you?", you proceed to respond nothing but with more moaning "Gimme your leg, time to get peachy hihi" says in a kinda cute voice as she grabs your leg and drags you across the garden into the castle."

Doing an actual pov story, and not just a scp/found media ripoff??? IMPOSSIBLE Anyways, the 2024 list is officially in use now and remember Stay safe and obey :)

Ripping off EAH is a bad idea. The makers WILL sue!!

Bold of you to assume that Mattel cares about the franchise they gave up on. It's not even a candidate for rebooting like Monster High.

Also can we stop acting like EAH was some treasured passion project of a struggling indie developer or something? It's owned by Mattel! The company that just put out the Barbie movie! The company literally could not be doing better.

Besides. “Daughter of the Queen of Hearts” and “daughter of Cinderella” aren’t copyrighted by Mattel (in fact, Darling Charming isn’t the daughter of Cinderella! The EAH Charming family specifically has no relation to Cinderella.) There’s enough established in Descendants to argue that all similarities are just coincidence. Sporty girls with swords? Done before (see: Lonnie in the second movie.) Besides, Lizzie and Darling never actually had an adventure together I think...

There's also that Ever After High isn’t the only “school for children of fairy tales” there is. There's The School for Good and Evil (a six-book series likely more well-known for an astoundingly subpar Netflix adaptation) and Regal Academy, among others. EAH vs. Descendants aside, no company *owns* the idea of “school for fairy-tale/public-domain characters kids.”

Which, yes, literally all the parents of EAH are public domain. Disney had the opportunity for using Disney trademark names like Maleficent, Lady Tremaine, etc. but their character bases are still public domain (Sleeping Beauty’s 13th fairy and Cinderella’s stepmother, respectively.) Descendants also gets to involve some Disney-specific tales like 101 Dalmatians. But EAH also got to pull in some tales that Disney never covered, like Jack and the Beanstalk (...whatever happened to that Gigantic movie?), Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and Thumbelina.

Also if you expect me to believe that some EAH designs weren’t Disney ripoffs to begin with, no. Because look at this:

Oh would you look at that!!! I wonder why they gave her brown hair suddenly but so clearly wanted to keep the yellow scheme! Couldn't possibly be because they wanted people to think of Disney's Belle, right?????

Purple? Check. High collar? Check. Menacing accessories? Check. Significant widow's peak with spiky crown? Double check. Also Raven's actual mother in the series looks like this:

And not actually, you know, like Raven.

EAH was also relying on a healthy handful of Disney ripoff designs to get their characters noticed. It shows. Not to mention the entirety of Epic Winter clearly banking on the Frozen craze because it didn't even get "The Snow Queen" story right.

(And sure, Descendants featured some designs that were a little bit too close to EAH, see: Mal's purple Cotillion gown vs. Raven's Thronecoming gown, evil!Audrey's entire color scheme compared to Spring Unsprung Briar, etc.)

Doesn't mean that mocking it is a classy move on Disney's part, but unless they're stupid enough to straight-up use a patented name from EAH, I highly doubt Mattel can or will do anything about it.

I absolutely adore the vibe in thomasville in cars 3. The stark contrast between all of the high tech and hyper modern eccentricities in the racing world in the present of the cars universe, thomasville has a cozy and vintage atmosphere that I absolutely ADORE, especially since it mostly takes inspiration from the 1950s, which is my favorite decade in the 20th century when it comes to style and aesthetics.

There is also that same vibe in Radiator Springs in the first movie, and this vintage americana setting the first and third movies are one of my more subtle but favorite aspects of the cars franchise besides the characters, worldbuilding (though it is silly at times), and plot. Especially the diner at Thomasville, it just brings in such a warm and welcoming presence that can be felt even though it’s in a universe with sentient cars.

This is also another reason why I really dislike Cars 2: it deviates entirely from the familiar vibe of the cars trilogy for this action packed ripoff of James Bond that just ends up being borderline terrible. It also really makes Radiator Springs extremely downplayed in that movie. I really don’t understand what younger me loved about it so much. Even cars on the road brings that friendly atmosphere that Radiator Speings has even though it’s only present on screen for a couple of minutes in the series.

it's wild how life happens. i started replaying a hacked version of the kim kardashian game in december 2021 to avoid the reality that i was failing 2 of my college classes. because of that, i googled 'a tale of crowns,' which is the name of the game of thrones ripoff the kk:h player character stars in. that's how i stumbled across one of my favorite things of all time: the interactive fiction called a tale of crowns. then i became obsessed with this choose-your-own-adventure format and barely slept the next three days while i played the sword of rhivenia and wayhaven and the soul stone war. i spent all spring obsessively playing every if i could find. then my desire to create atoc fanart reminded me that i'd been dying to learn to make cool sims edits but i forgot about it after going back to school. so then i started making my mcs in sims and slowly learning photoshop while i should've been in class for all of spring 2022. then i saved up in the summer and bought a new laptop that could run gshade and handle games and editing much better. then i wanted to have a simblr presence so badly and started posting and spending time on tumblr. then i decided to branch out and play dragon age because of an offhand comment the author of wayhaven made answering a tumblr ask. because of that i fell in love with rpgs and played the whole da series, mass effect, skyrim, and bought bg3. then i got into critical role bc of simblr, and at first i didn't think dnd was for me but i liked watching it. then bg3 came out and became my obsession and i realized maybe dnd was for me. and now here i am looking up ttrpg events in my area and joining a beginner dnd discord server and all the things that are the most interesting and important to me rn i never would've gotten into if i hadn't done the worst thing i ever did.

How would you and your crew at the factory ticklegasm a Giant?

By deploying my newly minted pop-up tickle factory of course~! But first we need to get that giggly giant restrained and for that we're gonna need my specialized aerial ticklers which are absolutely not a total ripoff of the omni directional mobility gear from Attack on Titan~ they'll zip around our big ticklish friend with their feather swords and blush clubs to barrage the hot spots which also can hinder locomotion~ the underarms, collar, sides, backs of the knees, Achilles tendons, and small of the back. With their puffy fluffy weapons swinging, the giant will lose their momentum and start to stumble.

That's where my engineers will start deploying the factory. It's a bit like those automated car washes, with a long series of arches springing up from circular pads on the ground which begin connecting by thick dark sleeves to form our factory line. The aerial ticklers will begin pummeling from each side to get the giant lined up as they skid across the ground. Whether we get them in feet first or head first, the entryway to the factory is equipped with grasping soft giant hands to snatch and grab. While the giant is being dragged inwards, the interior surface of the factor is going to be lubricated with massage oils by our interior workers.

As the giant is gliding down surface, they'll begin spraying merrily to coat all that skin and make it so shiny and sensitive. Since the giant will not be restrained yet the idea is to keep them moving and disoriented. Again like a car wash, the first chambers of the pop up factory are filled with curtain after curtain of swishing soft materials and drapey tendrils, with the machinery moving them back and forth and twirling about over the giant's shoulders, underarms, down the ribs and over the belly and chest. The feet will be constantly buffed by our interior aerial workers who will follow the wiggly toes and wrinkly soles closely with their whirling buzzing tools.

Thoroughly buffeted by the first round, the giant will find themselves sliding into the tub which has been dug during the initial phase. This warm cleansing bath will wear down the resistance of even the most feisty guest through a massive array of water jets aimed to target all the sensitive zones on their lower body ~ while the aquatic workers zip around in their wetsuits and long scrubby brushes to get into the inner thighs, between the huge tush cheeks, under the toes, and of course into the royal area. While this is happening, I will pay a visit from above and float about with my taunting factory survey for how they would rate our services ~ and giving the most annoying teasing tickles with my duster wand under their nose and along the ears and under the chin~

The cleansed giggly giant will be slip out from the tub and brought next to our processing and packing center. The factory will be taking plenty of scans and sensitivity samples at this time with its tingle beams, both for our data and to distract so that my packaging workers can line up their wrapping cannons and engage the padded clamps for the giant's wrists and ankles. The factory will fill with the sounds of packing material being spun ~ the clamps will rotate them like a spit while layer after layer of shiny wrapping is applied.

With our big package thoroughly prepared, the giant will be reeled into the prep room so that my precision ticklers can begin creating hot spot incisions in the bondage to expose those giant hot spots we gathered from the factory's data. Cutting pinpoint slits under the arms and across the tummy and thighs and chest over the huge royal buttons and naturally the royal area, the giant will be ready for the final chamber.

For all the hard work, the teams will be enjoying from the observation deck as our product is placed and the spider-like tickle tease engine can descend from above and begin deploying its spinning vibrating tingle tips to all those carefully exposed hot zones. They're a bit like scalp massagers, except glowing brightly and oversized to stimulate a giant's skin to giggly bits. We'll enjoy the process of tickling teasing our guest to gigglemoaning madness, and occasionally strap on a mobility suit to fly down and add a little more hands on stimulation ~ particularly in the royal area, where the machine will have two sets of buzzing nubs spread along taking turns in a calculated sequence but will allow us to reach in and give those tiny rubbies or gentle paintbrushes with oil to realllly make the factory quake.

And this is absolutely not a single ticklegasm operation. For all the work and effort it takes to snare, process, and package a giant we will definitely be milking them for soo many of those oversized gigglecums ~<3
