Inactivity again.

Exactly a month after one of my rabbits passing, another one has gotten ill and one of my snails has passed away. My mental health is destroyed. I'm sorry.

Edit: well, Bonnie (the ill rabbit) made a full recovery overnight. He's eating perfectly fine. Still needs painkillers but that's a worry out of the door. Also, I'm getting new snails pretty soon to accompany the surviving one. I'm open to name suggestions, but they must be dessert names (I like themed naming)

Obviously no Vanilla, since she passed away, or Chocolate (since he's still here)

Definitely getting a Jadatzi named Pudding and a Rodatzi named Nougat, but I'll probably get some more. Just look up Achatina Fulica and you'll see all the colors

Bekicot atau Achatina fulica[2] adalah siputdarat yang tergolong dalam suku Achatinidae. Berasal dari Afrika Timur dan menyebar ke hampir semua penjuru dunia akibat terbawa dalam perdagangan, moluska ini sekarang menjadi salah satu spesies invasif terburuk dibumi[3], sehingga beberapa negara bahkan melarang pemeliharaannya sebagai hewan kesayangan/timangan[4] termasuk Amerika Serikat. Hewan ini mudah dipelihara dan di beberapa tempat bahkan dikonsumsi, termasuk di Indonesia. Meskipun berpotensi membawa parasit, bekicot yang dipelihara biasanya bebas dari parasit. Bekicot di luar negeri di kenal dengan nama escargots, terutama di Perancis. Orang Perancis sangat menyukai masakan dengan bahan baku ini, ada yang bilang salah satu cara untuk mengechek apakah restoran tersebut mempunyai masakan yang enak-enak adalah melalui menu ini dahulu. Di Indonesia hanya species Achatina fulica yang sering di jumpai dan paling banyak. Saat ini diketahui ada tiga subspesies bekicot: Achatina fulica rodatzi Dunker, 1852Achatina fulica sinistrosa Grateloup, 1840Achatina fulica umbilicata Nevill, 1879 Bekicot di wilayah Indonesia memiliki nama daerah yang berbeda-beda: Jawa Tengah dan Jawa Timur biasa mengenalnya dengan Bekicot atau Siput. Jawa Barat biasanya mengenalnya dengan Keong Racun. Menurut habitatnya Bekicot dibedakan menjadi 1. Habitat di Kebun biasanya Spesies Helix sp, Achatina Sp 2. Habitat di Sawah biasanya Keong Mas, Tutut, Bekicot (Helix sp, Achatina Sp) berbeda dengan Keong mas, keong sawah atau tutut. This is something my boyfriend currently owns, Andy has about 4 Rodatzi snails and he got them when they were very tiny! They do grow fast, they are a type of African snail and this is the biggest we got.

I did a photo shoot of them last week and I might be wrong but I think they might of been attracted to the reflection because they kept twisting themselves to their reflection like they were trying to approach it.

Very cute ey?
