I’ve read somewhere that few years ago (maybe 2-3) Sho realized by himself he wasn’t in a very good shape, that he had to train harder in order to continue delivering excellent performances. M I Z U K I > In a photoshoot for MYOJO last year, there were these glen plaid underpants, and I saw them again at another location afterwards. I thought they were fated so I decided to buy them from the stylist (lol). Last year, I was really into wearing shorts and vests for a school uniform-ish look. This autumn, I want to try challenge myself with coordinating with monotone tops.  > I’m the type of person who immediately decides to buy something the moment I see it—with the price being the only thing potentially holding me back. The other day, I was strolling through Takeshita Street in Harajuku with Sakuma and Hashimocchan. I bought a Coach jacket from a store we passed by. It’s black, and I like the design with the word “STREET” written in white all over the sleeve. It was cheap so the decision was easy! Now if I can find aa white chesterfield coat I’ve been looking for since last year, then it’ll be perfect.

S O Y A > It’s part of my routine to pick out the outfit I’ll wear that day the moment I wake up. But, since I’m indecisive af, I’d have second thoughts while I”m eating breakfast and change my outfit completely. I’d leave the house, change my mind again, and turn back around. Because of all the changes, my parents ask tell me to decide the moment I wake up, but they don’t get it. Picking out my outfits is fun, even the indecisive part♪ > Last autumn, I bought a knit sweater that looked similar to a happi. Since it wasn’t an item available in Japan, I ordered it based on the model’s pictures they had online, but when it came, it was way too big on me (lol). R Y U T O > I love wearing t-shirts with funny illustrations like the one I’m wearing today. Even in my personal wardrobe, I have many similar shirts. My favorite is an illustration of a tonkatsu set meal. It’s so cute, the tonkatsu was drawn with a face. It was love at first sight the moment I saw it! Unfortunately, I currently don’t have the courage to wear that t-shirt when I’m out. But, after today, I might be able to do it if I pair it with a long coat like this (lol). > I have a problem with styling myself the same way! Or rather, it’s frustrating that I can only style myself one way… black skinny jeans with a t-shirt… is my go-to. I also came here today like that. I have four pairs of black skinny jeans. Not to mention, they’re all the same brand and style. I’ve also gotten interested in ripped jeans… but when I start thinking the level of ripped looks good, I have no clue (lol).

Y U T O > For a show project, I saw Sakurai (Sho)-kun wear this super flashy outfit and i wanted to try and replicate that outfit! For me, I think it’s a pretty good replication. I’m wearing it, but that necklace is super heavy! And of course the fanny pack. It’s looks shiny, but it’s actually a clear material and you can see inside it. It looks to be in style, but I have no idea what to put in it. And most importantly, the hat. First time I wore a taller one, I kept hitting everything (lol). The white top I’m wearing underneath is close to my personal style … is what I would like to say, but I I have no confidence in wearing solids. I like patterns so I would buy the leopard print shirt (lol). > Lately, I’ve been understanding fashion less and less. I feel like I should be able to wear whatever. To be honest, I want to wear the sweats I wear during lessons out in the streets~ Is that bad!?

R Y O > I’m awful at the layered look. On cold days, I can’t stand just the layers; only warm days, I can’t take it off right away… so that’s why, I only wear a jacket. It’s not something I would pick out myself, but I like this look so I wanted to try it. My wardrobe is all black and white so this navy is a fresh look♪ > Most of my shopping has been done online as of late. It’s not that I don’t have time to go shopping, it’s just simply easier. But, I had a big fail when I bought these harem pants that looked really cool on the Internet… They were just different from what I had in mind. In the end, I haven’t worn them once… But, I really like the sweats I bought recently! It’s a set with a top and bottom in light blue that stands out from everyone else♪ I wear them lots during stage show lessons.

YASSSS! CALLIGRAPHY!!!! ARCHERY! EDM! Tradition meets modern feels.

I love languages! The art of writing. The sense of history in every stroke. The beauty of the written word. The tinkling sound of the spoken word.

The simplicity. Its AWESOME!

And this is also one of the reasons I think Sho Sakurai’s tv series/J-drama “Saki ni Umareta Dake no Boku” “Saki Boku” “My High School Business” is such a high-quality drama. WONDERFUL WRITING, Fukuda-san.  From a business perspective, how Narumi-sensei tries to understand the workings of the teachers, the students and the education system itself and along the way, also gets them to incorporate business ethics and management into them. 

The writer/director/production/cast gave emphasis that the school is ONLY good when management, teachers and students worked together. The three ‘branches’ respecting each other, working together and believing in each other.

Yeah, ACTIVE LEARNING. GOOD JOB, SHIMAZU-sensei!

Narumi-sensei: Mashiba-sensei is a PEP-TALKER! 

Kagaya-san, you know you love Narumi-sensei. Don’t try to suppress it. lolssss

PS.. waiting for more student bullying issues to arise, we already have work-place bullying with Kagaya and Narumi, and Narumi and teachers

Untitled Review

My bias said since there’re only 2 years left until Arashi’s 20th, they have 2 years to test their limits and boundaries before being busy celebrating entering their 3rd decade, thus, that is what I choose to focus on in appreciating this album...

Green Light - Top batter. I wasn’t sucked into this immediately, but my impression of it has changed. The preview on the website which only featured the chorus made me think of their kouhais (HSJ, Kisumai), but the lower notes changed my mind. I find that I don’t dislike the tuning on the members’ voice, so that’s good. The transitions are niggling me though. Feels like it could have been done more smoothly. I find that the contrasts throw me off a little. Still one of my favourites from the album though.

Mikan - When I first heard it, I was blooming mad because of the mishmash of genres that didn’t feel like they mesh. But as I listened to it more, I became convinced that it is a daring attempt. It was what hinted me at what Arashi was trying to do with the album this round, before they dropped any other details about it. My condolences about the MV, but with Sho as bias, I don’t find myself complaining much when I’ve got that pair dance to flail over. 

Sugar - Love the beat. I call these kinds of songs the ‘blast them out loud as you you go for a drive maybe at coastal roads ala what they do in MVs’ (or ‘Drive songs’ for short). Members singing in the back has got my attention rather than the member that’s doing the main, like when they’re going ‘sugaa~~rrr’ and ‘my loo~~vee’. Also, something about this reminds me of EXILE. 

Ari no Mama de - Clap your hands to this, yeah~ Wave it side to side, yeah~ Channel your 1D fangirl heart, yeah~ (there, I’ve gone and said it). I want to be skipping around with my tween girlfriends while holding hands. Quite Western boyband-ish *cough* for our Japanese manband.

Fu’un - Kamen Rider or Super Sentai OSTs. Nothing really bad about it, but it’s never really been my kind of song.  

Houyou - The first half felt a bit complicated. I couldn’t tell when the song was going to settle. And then I realized it wouldn’t. Then Sakurap actually caught me in this state which I’m thankful for. Bias he may be, it felt like a float to hold onto in the middle of a calm sea, but in the middle of the sea nonetheless. Edit: I found out the meaning. Suffice to say, no wonder I felt lost.. ahaha..

Pray - Shojo slice-of-life ending theme song. I’m seeing curious faces peeking out of umbrellas and up at the sky as the rain lets up but the air is still heavy with moisture (that’s probably just the ‘傘’ word getting in the way, though).  

Hikari - Ninoooo~~~~~~ If I sounded this good opening a song, I’d call it out as my favorite, too. I can sort of see him as Disney princess singing to charm the tiny critters who’ll become his allies. Gospel-ish, just like they said in the jweb vid. Definitely a song that makes you stand up and sway left-right and clapping to beat. I like songs where there is obvious non-member backing, mostly because if it’s performed, then I like the backup singers in the con to have their time to shine. Or, they could have a choir, but they did that two years ago in Miyagi, so idk. The Sakurap isn’t my favourite kind, but appreciating the versatility. Would’ve liked to hear the 15-seconds after Ohno’s main following Sakurap as a cappella, but oh well. 

Kanata e - I couldn’t make my mind up about the song until after the 1min mark. I’ll be honest and say only the chorus is sort of working for me. Sounds like uplifting anime OST. The rest... doesn’t really stick.

Song for you - This was great. This is great. Arashi did me in with this one. Ohno had gotten to me on Msute (I’m kinda weak for Ohno’s solo lines in group songs). But then they sang in unison the same lines/melody towards the end, and I can honestly say, the 5 of Arashi topped Ohno solo. That part was... beautiful. I don’t really have any other way to describe it. Whatever it was that Ohno found in Miles Away last year, they didn’t let it be a one-time thing and go to waste. 

Kanpai Song - Either Kanjani or WEST. This was a Kansai song that thought it might want to do a little ‘上京’ing. From the title, I was expecting something like Energy Song. The theme was, the melody not so much. It’s not a song I would dislike, but clashes a bit with my image of current Arashi.

Unit Songs:

Curiosity Team - Bazuri Night: Initial D (?) Eurobeat stuff I should think. Fuzakeru song, as I thought it’ll be when I saw the unit (I might not show it, but I’m still a bit sore about Yama). I had this teeny hope for a slow song when the Machi ga Irodzuku koro video was going around, but Aiba on Rekomen explained that it wasn’t so. So the song is basically the old men having their night out unsupervised. I don’t mind doing some ParaPara to this.

 Riida and his babies - Yoru no Kage: They sound like a a KPop group trying to promote themselves in Japan (in the sense that the group puts more effort since they’re trying to enter a foreign market). That, or Miura Daichi. I was pretty sure we’re going to get something classy from this unit though, so in that aspect I wasn’t disappointed. Nice high notes. Jun did great matching the other two, always have been a bit of his specialty, I should think. Looking forward to the performance. 

Soubusen Nakama - UB: Unit bath. Of course. What were we thinking of getting when it’s these two. A straight ballad? Pfft. But the harmonizing is sweet. If I didn’t know better, I think I’m hearing open fields and clear endless blue skies with whispy clouds. There’s something Western (American outback? not country though) about it. It’s kinda cute if you don’t think about the meaning too much. 

Sakumoto - Comeback: So, this is something like if MC Sakurai and DJ Matsumoto from Arafes ‘13 got together for real and decided to do something from 2 decades ago. I have no objections to this (kidding, I LOVE it).   It is ‘Get Arrested Pt. II’ after all. The countdowns in the song works so much for me. Gets you all riled up and excited for them. I can already hear the dead whale noises I’ll be making as watching the DVD next year induces a cardiac arrest in me. Edit: I just remembered the Yakai episode where they have an ICU girl describe Sho as having ‘good vibes’. It’d tickle me if that’s where the phrase in the lyrics come from.

Why do I feel that this album is pretty polarizing? I’ve seen some people who aren’t into it (Japanese fans, though). I’m supposing it’s all the new sounds we’re hearing? However, despite that, I’ll repeat what I said in a post the other day,  I hope they can continue doing something different without fear of backlash from fans. Personally, I’m really happy with it. 

Edit: After getting a proper looks, I’m wondering how much the members were involved with the lyrics. Song For You, for example, would be really weird if it was written without the members having any say at all. I mean, it’s beautiful, it’s a story of the group’s journey, but if a complete stranger wrote it then... you know. Kinda weird. Idk.

P.S.: There’s always this one song in each con that makes me wish I was there whenever I watch the con DVD, eg, Hope in the Darkness for Digitalian, Ohno’s Akatsuki in Japonism, and Nino’s Mata Kyou in AYH. But Song For You makes me wish I could have attended the con just from the sound of it. Here’s to them giving the song the justice it deserves.

I saw your retweet on Sakurai Sho having a girlfriend and I'm already crying for Shori's future because either he grows old single to please his fans and make a living or be with someone he loves while people harass him and his partner (whoever they may be). I wish fans in general know the limitations of obsessions and should know how to be happy for their idols. Feelings like that are unhealthy for them :'(

I can be wrong but I feel like Shori is the type who will do his thing and won’t really bother about what others think of him. Although it is kinda unavoidable as an idol since there will always be people who are upset/sad/disappointed after finding out that their idol is dating someone. I think that’s fine as long as they don’t push their own emotions onto Shori and his partner. Let idols live they’re just humans too. And like you said, becoming obsessed and neglecting their own private lives, that’s just unhealthy for the fans themselves.

Sakurai Sho marriage announcement on New Year's eve 2021!?

The area around Arashi, which will cease activity within 2020, is busy.

When a concert at the New National Stadium, which was postponed in May due to the new coronavirus, was pushed for October, it was reported in some weekly magazines. There have been numerous reports speculating on Last Year's activities.

"This year we were planning to have a lot of Arashi concerts and events, such as the last tour of 1 million people. However, due to the influence of the new coronavirus, it was canceled or virtually postponed indefinitely. Sakurai Sho’s younger brother marries

[BREAKING NEWS] Josei Seven reported that Sakurai youngest brother Osamu has married with a coworker. The couple married in march but they register marriage in past June. The female is the only daughter of the president of a major department store that has been in business for over 150 years and is a woman who graduated from a Canadian university.   Seems Sakurai Osamu tide the knot with a family dynasty. She was graduated of a British Columbia University and works at Densu too.

Sakurai Sho aiming "after marriage"... J Quiz Department " takeover plan"!

From Kaeremonday and Quiz sama! It was revealed that "Johnny's highly educated corps" will appear on a SP Quiz show. Sakurai asked a couple to take a picture of them - in english-.

They chatted happily with the elders. It is said that they posed for photo and she tilted her head on Sho's shoulders. It looks like a honeymoon.

Some fans point out that Sho went to Hawaii because he doesn't want to hide anymore. "Hawaii is full of Japanese people, it is obvious that Sakurai wanted to expose himself" "It doesn't look like an affair, it seems that they were already married. That's why the couple doesn't hide."

Sakurai Sho (38) went to Vietnam with his long term girlfriend A san.

Just in the previously weeks a tweet started to spread the gossip but only a few of fans believed it! Suddenly Bunshun release a huge scoop !! 

The Two shots of Sakurai Sho and his girlfriend. According to the magazine the couple went to Vietnam and spend the New Year Holidays. They stayed in five stars luxury resort on January 4th. Seems to be a premarital trip in Đà Nẵng (centre of Vietnam with a luxury resorts and beach of blue sea). 

The images are clear this time.

Sakurai lays down near the pool in light clothing with sunglasses later they moved under a parasol on a sandy beach, watched the sea for about half an hour, and chatted relaxed.

The next morning, couple take a bike together and have breakfast at the restaurant. One of the Japanese guests testify “It was like a married couple for many years''

The woman A san (37) is a tiny woman, the same age of Sakurai. She is a Keio classmate also she won the Keio miss con (beauty contest). After graduation, she worked on Kansai TV station as announcer. 

A san isn´t a new girlfriend. The relationship was press covered on 2017 when sources said Sakurai broke with a long term relationship and later magazines talked about Sakurai and Ayaka Ogawa. In fact, the two had a long-distance relationship long before Sakurai's relationship with his ex-girlfriend (Ogawa) was exposed. After many setbacks, the two finally came together again (Bunshun). 

Fans digging on net and point this woman is Sakurai’s girlfriend. The appearance of the woman seems Machiko Ono, according to Bunshun.

Sakurai Sho “Bifurcated Love" Live with my favorite and shares a room with a model

Sakurai Sho (38) was reported having a premarital trip with his favorite girlfriend Ako san on January by Bunshun and a month later on February 16, Bunshun was reported that Sakurai had been playing with another woman.

Sakurai's friends from Keio Kindergarten revealed the relationship between Sakurai and her favorite girlfriend (Ako san) "Ako san  is a former Miss Keio, and Sakurai's classmate. They have been friends since student era and started dating after graduation”. Ako's presence was recognized as "She"  (Sakurai's she) by his closest friends from Keio Kindergarten. When the news of Bunshun came out, they immediately knew "Ah, that girl". The relationship was a “long distance love” between Osaka and Tokyo until the last fall when Ako san quits her job and moves to Tokyo.

Surprisingly on the night of February 16, Sakurai appeared in a high-rise apartment separate from his house a luxurious apartment in Minato-ku. After that, appeared in the taxi a beauty model similar to appearance to Hirose Alice. After passing through the entrance of the apartment, she disappeared into the room where Sakurai waited. He stayed with the beauty B-san for three hours - she left at about 12:30 pm - Sakurai hit a taxi at noon the next day and returned to the "home" where Mieco was waiting.

A friend who has known Sakurai for a long time said that she is a general woman in her 30s. B san had an unusual relationship with Sakurai  a few years ago and met through a common friend. Note from the author: This is madness! I don't know which part is true and which not! On my personal view I can't judge sexual encounters from others. I guess all was consensual? Sakurai isn't the next member to get married!

According with various sources the follow Arashi member to marry is not Sakurai Sho... The next to marry definitely is Aiba Masaki.

Aiba was reported cohabitating with a general woman from Kansai. They live together in Aiba's mansion. Couple are dating for seven years and both parents are in knowledge of relationship.

It said Aiba marriage will come in natural way because he is cohabitating and their relationship has never been interrupted for seven years. But Aiba wants to protect Arashi and he want to wait until the hiatus, seems he marry right after 2021 begin.

Some fans pointed definitely Aiba is the next. And they pointed out that there is a correspondence between Ninomiya's marriage and the comments of the members. "Only Sakurai and Aiba delivered congratulatory comments...seems both who congrats Nino are the one's to get marry" .

Bunshun said at the beginning Matsumoto, Sakurai and Ohno were against Ninomiya marriage because is before the pause... And they claimed these fact affect the relationship with fans. Only Aiba who's the best friend of Ninomiya, support him.

At the moment several theories about Sakurai flowed on net. Some said he wants to get marry when hiatus begin. Others said Sakurai in fact is already marry and the Vietnamese trip was his honeymoon... Later some spread on twitter he will announce marriage on January 24th but didn't happen.
