Reading these three as arospec is genuinely so meaningful to me. To see three characters whose FRIENDSHIP is the driving plot of a show is such a breath of fresh air in this world. Everything they do within the show is for this very special connection they have. And with that comes shipping, of course, and it’s a losing battle to deny that. But within the timeframe of the show itself, seasons 1-3 not counting the timeskip, what happens is so strongly platonic, and that’s important. Everything is for this friendship. It’s their everything. Friendship is their everything. And for an aro person who feels the same, it’s everything for me too

(and this is only considering the relationship of these three: it’s not even mentioning the familial bonds Anne has with the Plantars and her own parents. The show is so disconnected from romance whatsoever, and it places other relationship types at the forefront. Anne’s connection to Sprig is so, so special. Anne’s friendships and found family drive the ENTIRE SHOW and it’s insane to see. I appreciate it so much)
