Barty only thought about Evan’s body so much because he was jealous, and if he wanted Evan to come to the party so badly he cleaned vomit off floors for it, it was only because he liked Evan. And… Fuck. 

Barty like, liked Evan. Had a big fat crush on him. And it should have felt life-changing, it was a borderline gay awakening, in his frat house kitchen, drunk as all hell, but it didn't. Barty didn't care, he was still him. And why would he worry about something as pointless as being gay, when Evan was shirtless, and inches away from him?

As much as i love Rurouni Kenshin, it's nothing like Samurai Deeper Kyo. People who say SDK is a ripoff of RK have never read the manga. I pretty much adore all of SDK's characters, antagonists and protagonists alike, and Kyo is just soo funny. Kenshin, who i love can be way too depressing and angsty.

Gonna try to get some more work done on my Robotropolis map for Killing Floor 2 this week. It's still pretty bare bones in appearance, I'm still feeling out the layout, basing it on some 3D models I've seen other folks make of the city. I want to put lots of detail but I hope I didn't make it too big, I'll have to see how it plays once I have all the platforms and walkways set up. Thankfully due to Unlucky I'm also getting more practice porting Blender models to Unreal engine, so hopefully I can add some cool custom models in here too. :)

The new Percy Jackson feels like I imagine the new Harry Potter show will feel. Like I'm excited that it's happening and like the actors. They're making good choices but... I'm constantly waiting for something new. And I don't think it's going to happen for a few years.

At this point this is the 3rd adaptation and the HP show will also be except where with PJ I've only half read the books and watched the movies multiple times. Yet I Still am disassociating through the parts I know have to happen to move the plot along. I've had years of Harry Potter, like 20 years of fanfiction and books and movies and what if neither of them hit anymore.

It is again that time, where we look at the things done on this year.

2022 was very busy for me in real life, but I was able to do things in the end.

As usual, first goes my work on Obsidian Conflict. Most of the work has gone to programming, but also did a fair share of work on maps, textures, models, animation and even some slight sound edition. While this year we couldn't begin the closed beta, sure the next year we will!

Then in February, I entered "The Layout" map compo from Map Labs, with my Nal Sidian entry, an homage to A Place In The West.

While ultimately it didn't make it to the top, and ended being only 60% completed, people liked controlling a Vortigaunt and using beam attacks.

Made with the SDK 2007 mesh, the 2006 leak eye meshes, and the uncompressed textures from the portfolio of the original artist, with also several fixes and tweaks, and even a retexture for the gibs.

I always liked this one over the retail version.

While it wasn't made on this year, my map done for Jabroni Brawl 3, Datacube, was released together with the mod.

To the surprise of everybody, it ended being a very popular map, due to the verticality and ease of movement (and being played in full servers, when it was originally intended for no more than 10 players).

It has so many improvements, and was done fully from scratch without leaked code, that it would have been egoistic to keep it all for ourselves only:

Well, and that's pretty much the most "relevant" stuff. I also helped other mods and projects around, but there's not much to talk about, or straight up can't talk about them yet, but well, this is how life goes.

2022 ended being thankfully different from 2021 and 2020, and I hope that in 2023, things turn well for all of my friends and loved ones.
