Dark Souls: Eclampsia
The pale entity bears the grim designs, And grim designs deliver weird outcomes alone
The pale duke bears the pale infants
The postmature one is willing to be delivered premature, preterm, So even the music, put on oh so in time, cannot just lull him back to sleep To help it all last even if a little while longer
There is More to this so-called resin than meets the eye

Seath The Scaleless was hated by dragons because he triggers the dragon equivalent of the uncanny valley.

Dark souls/bloodborne crack theory (that might make a bit of sense): Seath is in bloodborne
First lemme get the nitty gritty out of the way:
DS and BB are connected. Marvelous chester is proof since he implies ds is the "past" of bloodborne. And the painting of the new world in ds3 was made of "the blood of the dark soul"
Anyways... From what we know about Seath, we know he can never truly die and only turn into a different entity. We get his soul from freja in ds2. In ds2, manscorpion tark explains that "Long ago, there was a being with powers similar to ours.
The creature took the form of a spider.
But I don't know where it disappeared to.
Perhaps it was seduced by madness." And that
"Our master was a tragically lonely soul.
Eventually, his solitude eroded his very reason.
In the end, he never understood…
…what it was that he truly lacked."
Its heavily implied to be seath the scaleless.
And yes ds2 is canon idgaf what anyone says idgaf if you hate the game, its still canon bc lucatiel's mask, the drang equipment, a painting of nashandra and the faraam armor set exists there. Not to mention all of earthen peak
Now how does this tie to bloodborne?
We know seath can change form right? What if he transposed into something in bloodborne. He could be oedon, he could be the moon presence, he could even be kos. Who fucking knows.
Almost everything in bloodborne that has white flesh or an otherworldly origin has blue magic... and is weak to one thing. B o l t damage
Guess who else was also weak to lightning? Thats right. DRAGONS IN DS
Discuss.

The Banishment of the Nameless King
Noticed the file quality issue -- reuploaded
The blood red substance sometimes found within pale pine resin suggests there is more to this so-called resin than meets the eye
Thank you FromSoftware

ok. i’ve always thought the theory that the moonlight butterfly you fight as a boss was an escaped seath experiment was really stupid. i mean not the part about the butterfly being seath’s experiment. the item descriptions for its soul and soul weapons outright state that he created them. but i don’t think it escaped; it’s guarding the divine ember, a small taste of the power of the gods. with the divine ember you can kill the undead in the catacombs, gaining access to the rite of kindling, a secret use for humanity.
Divine Ember - Divine weapons are for Undead hunting. Use against Undead and the pawns of necromancers.
Andre of Astora dialog: I know little of the Darkroot Garden. Although, I've heard rumours of a divine blacksmith who resides there. Those who get stumped in the Catacombs seek him for divine weapons.

its not like seath isn’t meddling with other shit. the two non-respawning channeler enemies are blocking access to the Bells of Awakening (for outsiders: your first task in dark souls is to fulfill a vague prophecy claiming that “the chosen undead” will ring two bells to summon their destiny). one channeler buffs the gaping dragon, who swallowed the key to blighttown (was fed it?) and the other buffs a small army of hollows who tear through you like deli meat directly in front of the parish bell. he’s actively trying to prevent anyone from trying to fulfill any prophecies that involve him dying.
now that i think about it, i guess gwyn did kind of fuck him lol. if anyone ever needed to get into the first kiln to rekindle the flame, they’d have to take seath’s lord soul that gwyn gave him. what a dumb ass
