#in the dream i was like editing it but i was also there? it was weird. it started as a dream about lawson in a zombie apocalypse #ok important tags first so i can write an essay #ts4 #ts4 render #ts4 edit #the sims 4 #beckett #lawson #blood sports #but yeah if you haven't been here before beckett and lawson never knew each other as kids #if they did it would be a butterfly effect and mess w a bunch of other plot details. so i decided to work around it #also if ur new they've had a friends with benefits thing going on for a long time but lawson is in love with him. beck doesn't know #originally beckett was put in foster care as a baby bc of neglect and was bounced around foster homes for years #he was a troubled child always getting in fights a kleptomaniac undiagnosed autism etc etc foster families tried and just didn't want him #then when he was around 12 a very nice old lady named cora got him and they ended up forming a great bond they loved each other #she was going to adopt him then when beckett was around 15 or 16 his birth mother reentered the picture and wanted him back #it started a really nasty legal battle and cora died. we can't say for sure it was the stress of this fight but beckett certainly thinks so #anyway he did go back with his birth mother and things got really bad for him. he dropped out of school started doing worse crimes and so o #but none of that is what even changed #now LAWSON is also from west virigina like beckett. it's a small town lawson was new he had no friends #he was a very clingy possessive child who cried and threw tantrums so much #he met beckett and the rest is history. beckett didn't really mind how lawson acted he didn't really find him annoying like everyone elsedi #besides he didn't have friends either #lawson has wealthy parents they were welcoming to beckett at first if a little apprehensive. then he stole something from their house #and lawson wasn't allowed to hang out with him anymore. but he still did in secret. they still have no idea that beckett's even still aroun #or just how involved lawson is with him and his. activities 😬 they just think he's their good little college boy #in the original beckett moved to Not Gotham City when his mother got him back but in this version lawson is going to college there #and beckett's been distant from him for a while things are awful for him and lawson says hey. what if you gave the city a try. and he did #so really you could say the events of blood sports are all lawson's fault the end

I see how everyone is going about how Nimona and Ambrosius become friends and stuff post-movie and honestly, I love it but I feel like everyone is skipping over the beauty of the adjustment period where they basically circle around each other and are more in a tenuous alliance for Bal's sake.

Nimona I feel would take longer to warm up to him because she has much less reason than Bal does for wanting to forgive him. I mean, most of what she's seen of the man is what he's done to hurt Bal and any other knowledge she gets is probably from his public persona. Meanwhile, Ambrosius still has to catch up on working through his preconceived monster bias and get used to Nimona's casual shape-shifting. PLUS now there's someone important to Bal he has to impress whose opinion of him could affect their relationship which is something he's never had to deal with before with Ballister and he has NO idea what to do.

Noya: That she and Zev maybe become an item some time after the Blight? Not set in stone but in one version of events it could happen i think

Var'renan: That since Tamlen was the one with a troublemaker reputation, whenever Renan did something and people automatically assumed it was Tamlen he'd get insufferably smug about it.

Noya: That she is very eager to try out and learn new things

the worst part about flapjack's death is that luz and hunter's friendship died right along with it lmao

TTT goes so fucking far in order to say that luz and hunter have built a strong bond between them #to the point that luz calls him family #then luz is the only one who refuses to fight possessed hunter #she only gets close to him to hug him and do the 'this is not you!' middle school couple trope on him #not only that but flapjack entrusts his powers for luz when he sees what's become of hunter and THAT is what she CHOOSES to do #you know. flapjack who was caleb's palisman. who was there for the entirety of caleb and evelyn's romance to the point that belos- #-considers him a symbol of caleb's betrayal (his love for evelyn) #this is the same flapjack that looks at phillip trying to harm 'caleb' again and decides to literally put his powers in luz's hands #and ultimately his sacrifice means neither caleb or evelyn have to die again #which is kinda confirmed by the way hunter goes like 'there's a reason you and i are alive and here right now and it's because- #-it's our turn to defeat belos' like i didn't even have to reach for this. hunter says it himself #and this is all great and compelling and makes sense except for the fact that the show just forgets about this on the next two episodes #and so where the first episode establishes that luz and hunter are close friends FTF and WAD are like 'do they even know each other?idk idc #and i get to stare at the camera because OBVIOUSLY if hunter and luz were a couple this wouldn't be a problem to begin with #and flapjack's death loses meaning when it turns out that nothing about evelyn or caleb or the previous confrontations between belos and- #-the other grimwalkers has any bearing in the plot anymore #flapjack gave its life to preserve the love that changed the world back then but because it's just never acknowledged it's like. who cares #someone had to die and we can't kill one of the kids #shrugs #sorry i have so much resentment in my heart #but do not get it twisted. it's HILARIOUS to me that TOH is at its most compelling when the lunter/witteclaw parallels are at its strongest #and then shoots itself in the foot when they realize that they paired off both characters with other people #okay that's all i have to say by now #lunter #is this anything
