IT'S FINALLY HAPPENED!! THE SHINY ONLY PLAYTHROUGH OF SHIELD CAN BEGIN!!!

Like with my Arceus shiny only playthrough, the shinies found on this game will be separated from the shiny count of my main.

The first shiny of the playthrough has finally been found!! I decided I'm going for a borderlands 2 and 3 naming theme for these mons.

SHINY SKWOVET FOUND AND CAUGHT ON September 18th, 2023, at 5:58 pm EST on the 1,826th KO encounter!

I was going to name this Ellie, but since it's male, He is named after Ellie's brother scooter instead!

My next hunt on route 2 will be for rookidee, and if male will be named Roland or if female will be named Moze the bl3 soilder you can play as.

That hunt will begin as soon as get Scooter here to lvl 16! So stay tuned for that!

Ik technically I have not finished this kind of run on UM, but... I'm doing a shiny only playthrough on shield!!!

My sis got a switch sometime ago, and sadly, that means it's a new game, but I got my main and French saves on my switch.

If I'm being honest while I enjoy the sos method, I don't enjoy leaving my system on charger for days if bad luck hits.... the game can randomly freeze, or someone turns it off by mistake, or the charger somehow gets disconnected, and it dies mid chain.

I'm also doing this for Scarlet, but I decided to do shield first since I can do the 500 Kos for boosted odds rather then full odds as I want the shiny for the story battles.

Shiny only playthrough hunt # 1 on ruote 1:

My target is Skwovet, and if it's female, I'm naming her Ellie from bl2. however, I will get wooloo, nickit, and rookiedee on route 1 to 500 KOs to make it easier to hunt later.

I think I accidentally missed a Shiny Spring Deerling at the beginning of my adventure because my brain was turned off and for some reason when I saw it I thought Spring Deerling normally had a pink flower (the one I found was alone damn). But!! This very pretty girl showed up on the day of my birthday random and I'm so happy!! 😍 Although sadly she doesn't have the Bday Mark :/ Have two more pics because she's SO CUTE.

I also found this cute piglet while I was hunting for paldean Wooper (which I later found, btw), and I managed to take a pic at the right time 😂

Aaand a while ago I hunted for two Shiny Rufflets bc I wanted to trade one over to Legends to have both Shiny Braviary forms, but I'm lazy so I didn't do it before yesterday. But pffft, look at his face he looks so done
