lucerys: *jumping off arrax as soon as he lands, hair soaked and face red with rage* what do you think you’re doing!?
aemond: *confused* what do you mean? i’m making my intentions clear? i’m courting you…?
lucerys:
aemond:
lucerys: by chasing after me with your big ass war dragon in the middle of the storm, screaming like a lunatic and almost killing me and arrax in the process???
aemond: …so, you don’t think that’s a good way of breaking the ice?
lucerys: do you!?

Tumblr media Tumblr media
The threads of fate were always changing. They could get tangled up, woven, or rewound. But these precious threads could never be severed or lead to a different ending. Call it what you may– destiny, fate, divine decree– whatever it was, it was set in stone.
The ability to rewrite a predestined end was to have power greater than the stars. To be able to touch one was a grave feat, but to pick it up and move it aside as if it were a mere obstacle in your path was merely an idea that nobody could achieve. The path– the alignment of beliefs combined with what was in store for someone– could be altered in any way, yet the end of the road would always remain the same. It was unshakeable, grounded in stone. What was the purpose of a journey if you never reached the end? Afterall, was it not in the cards for everyone to one day reach where the path leads? To one day take their final breath and find out the last thing the world had to offer?
Being born to die or dying to live was not really in the cards for those who lived among the ships of the Xianzhou. The residents were meant to live long lives– a gift from the Aeon of Abundance whom they sought true immortality from. From the Natives, to the newly acquainted Vidyadhara. All species on the Xianzhou ships were blessed with long lives. The Natives were not born to die, and the Vidyadhara didn't die to live. But not even they could touch the stars.
The blessings of the Abundance turned out to be a curse. The Xianzhou ships had quickly become overpopulated, leading many of them to famine and poverty. Within a year, riots had already started on the Xianzhou Yuque, their nobles doing their best to suppress them. A civilian had been killed on the Yaoqing, and by the end of the year, the Seditionists of Yuque had plunged nearly all fleets into a civil war. All except for the Luofu.
While the others feuded, the Luofu teetered on the edge of chaos and tranquility. The other fleets had been too caught up in their wars with each other to stop and ask themselves why that was. The answer was simple, really. At least, it was to you. It all boiled down to foresight and divination. The Yellowjacket Census and Almanacs that had been produced by the Luofu had your input from predictions behind it.
You and the other Luofu nobles had worked hard to ensure things were as tightly balanced as possible. The Vidyadhara Preceptors were hesitant to listen to you, not wanting to be in more debt to the Xianzhou if your insight was wrong. The Aristocrats nearly laughed themselves to tears upon hearing their fancy parties and celebrations would become grounds for inhouse fighting. But the Delves already knew what possibilities the sky held– their superstitions feeding their worries– and the farmers were more than willing to do extra with the fear of a bad harvest looming overhead. Without their help, the Luofu would be just like the rest of the fleet.
Even though you’d had volunteers from the elder Vidyadhara to undergo an early rebirth, extra crops being planted, and new medicines being tested, your gift had not foreseen the breakout of mara. It had started on the Xianzhou Yaoqing during the celebration of the Delve Master’s one thousandth birthday, and reached the Luofu by the next year.
The imbalance on the Luofu was devastating, and you couldn't help but blame yourself. If you had seen this coming, the fleet could have been better prepared. You couldn't help but feel all your work was for naught, that all you did was prolong the oncoming civil war of the Luofu. If that happened, it would just reaffirm what everyone thought about you– that you were off your rocker and constantly talked about unintelligible nonsense.
So you worked.
You hardly left the Hall of Insight, delving into the past and scrying the stars in the sky for answers on the future. Not even your fragmented visions or daydreams could help. They were practically useless anyway. What you saw may eventually come to pass, but you didn't know where or when. Divination often helped dissecting your visions, but it was futile if you had nothing to go on.
Well, not nothing really. Of course you’d had glimpses into the future since the mara began to strike the people of the Luofu, but it was all murky. You always heard the same two voices communicating over a radio, saw a giant red planet, and then suddenly the voices and everything were just gone. Nothing but white noise left in its wake. You could never make out any important names, as it was all muffled or broken up by terrible static. If you could just make out one voice, and hear what they were saying, you’d be in less of a mess.
You let out a sigh, glancing at the clock on the wall. It was late– nearly two in the morning– and you had yet to sleep. But how could you in a time like this? You could possibly be the reason the Luofu saw war within its walls, and losing sleep was less of a burden to bear than blood on your hands. You had to figure out what was in store for your fleet.
“I knew I’d find you here,” A voice called out, approaching as if it was not out of the ordinary that you were working extremely late. You didn't have to turn to know it was Tamula, one of your best delves. “I brought you some tea.”
You took the cup from her, giving her a nod of thanks, “You worry about me too much.”
“That's because you worry too little about yourself.” She reminded you, making you want to roll your eyes in response. “I know I can't convince you to rest. So drink your tea and clear your mind. I’ll take over divining.”
Tamula had long learned that there was nothing she could do to get you to take better care of yourself. It had once been an uphill battle since she had been promoted– one that she had quickly lost when she realized how stubborn you were. If you weren't sleeping, the least she could do was make sure you remembered to eat and stay hydrated.
For once, you listened to her. You sipped on the hot tea, recognizing the flavor as jasmine– your favorite. It always helped clear your mind before trying to induce a vision, which took a lot of focus and extreme will. As Tamula moved to take over the matrix, you took a seat in your nook and closed your eyes.
At first, it was just like before– small glimpses of red and muffled voices. But, the more you relaxed, the more focused you became, and the more you actually saw. For the first time since the mara struck the Luofu, you were able to piece together a clear vision.
“You're approaching the Yuanqiao now. Prepare to contact on channel 351.017.” You didn't recognize the voice, but you could tell they were communicating with a pilot. Maybe you could recognize the voice on the other end?
There was a long pause before more static, someone finally cutting through, “Target location secured. No response from the Yuanqiao. No celestial objects are within sight, except for a giant red star.”
You knew this voice. It belonged to Kai Lin, one of the best pilots the Lufou had to offer. But search and rescue was not her style. Did the Palace of Astrum believe that their sister ship would act with hostility towards them? Were they expecting to be pulled into their wars?
Everything shifted back into muffled voices and white noise, almost breaking your focus. You could feel exhaustion creeping in– drowsiness trying to pull you in. You couldn't. Not when you were so close. Not now.
The static got louder before you heard Kai Lin over the radio again, her tone laced with hints of melancholy as she informed the Palace of Astrum, “Caladrius-I calling Astrum. November 21st, 3287. 1700 hours. The Xianzhou Yuanqiao has officially gone missing.”
Tumblr media
Time always seemed to be something the long life species had an abundance of. But knowing that the Xianzhou Yuanqiao would disappear by the end of the year made you feel as if you were running out of time. You needed to get word to the Yuanqiao and let them know that they would be in danger.
The Palace of Astrum was best equipped to handle this sort of situation. They were a direct line of communication with the fleet while also manning the front lines and fighting the majority of the wars the Xianzhou often found itself fighting. While they were your best bet to help the Yuanqiao, they were the least likely to do so. While Kai Lin had been more than willing to offer her assistance where she could, the Helm-Master didn't want to hear a word about predictions and divinations. To him, it was just a bunch of nonsense, even though it helped chart the pilots’ courses and has so far kept the Luofu from in-house conflict.
These kinds of rejections were by no means a stranger to you. Your gift of foresight was uncommon, and people didn't like what they couldn't comprehend. Most could never understand clairvoyance because they had never seen it before– especially because the Vidyadhara were a species still fairly new to the Luofu.
Millennia ago, your kind had been forced to leave their home due to the other life forms becoming hostile toward your kind. It was a time when the entirety of your kind could still turn into dragons, and when clairvoyants were not uncommon. The psychics in the rolling deep were responsible for finding the best route to reach the Path of Permanence. Unlike today where the Hall of Insight looked into the past to predict the future, the Drashtas of the Rolling Deep relied on their spiritual enlightenment.
The only other place you knew to go was to the Scalegorge Waterscape, in hopes that one of the Preceptors would take you seriously enough to allow you to speak with High Elder Yubie. He was able to get in contact with the High Elders of the fleet, meaning he could reach the Yuanqiao’s– or he should be able to. It was really just a matter of if he’d hear you out or if he'd think you had a screw loose just like the majority of the Luofu did.
Despite the lingering thought of once again being rejected, you had made haste getting to your destination. The Waterscape was on the opposite side of the Luofu, residing in the sea similar to your homeland’s. It wasn't a place you visited often– at least not in this lifetime.
As you walked up to it, you couldn't help but stop and admire the architecture. It had been designed for ceremonies and gatherings, and was now used for those going through hatching rebirth and where the High Elder resided. The stone pillars and the aquatic flora gave the impression of home, which was comforting to your species as they got ready to begin their lives anew. Pinks, purples, and oranges stood out vibrantly against soft and dark blues. You were certain if you kept going you would see coral reefs and water lilies amongst sea whips and anemones. But, your path was blocked before you could go any further.
“State who you are and your business,” a man stated, eyeing you suspiciously. He was most likely a Preceptor seeing that the Pearlkeepers tended to stay further in the gorge.
You should've known you couldn't just walk in as if you’d been there a handful of times. But, you wouldn't let it deter you. You kept yourself composed as you said, “I’m the Master of the Delves. I need to speak with High Elder Yubie. It’s of the utmost importance.”
The man looked to the woman standing by his side, who’s gaze narrowed on you, “You must be the one who calls themselves a Drashta. High Elder Yubie does not have time for senseless fortune telling or mere speculation.”
“I'm not asking,” you gritted your teeth. “I demand to speak with him. I will not leave until then. You may have your doubts, you may think me to be mad just like everyone else, but you cannot speak on his behalf on matters of opinion. Do I make myself clear, or must I cause a scene?”
“I will not repeat myself.”
You glowered, “Neither will I. If you wish to play the waiting game, that's fine by me. The lives that will be lost will be on your hands.”
The woman’s lip curled back into a sneer as yours formed a smirk. She knew she was being challenged, and she'd fallen for it. The man beside her slipped away as you and her bickered, knowing this may turn out to be a situation he could not deescalate on his own. He was right.
By the time he’d returned with the High Elder in tow, you had managed to garner the attention of the Pearlkeepers. Scalegorge Waterscape was always calm, and stirring conflict was not good for the pearls undergoing rebirth. The Vidyadharas had always believed in peace, and the Preceptor who had snuck off believed if another was disturbing that peace, it must be of high importance.
High Elder Yubie did not know what to expect as Aahan, the Preceptor who called on him, led him to the entrance of the gorge. The situation was definitely as he described– a young Vidyadhara woman who was making a fuss over future conflict.
Diya, the woman you were arguing with had tried leading you back to your starskiff, eager to get you out of her hair. You were adamant about not leaving, not letting her drag you past the steps and dodging her every move as if you’d seen them all a hundred times before today. The High Elder was almost amused as you danced around her with ease, but he refused to show it until he knew what all the fuss was about.
He approached without Aahan, causing Diya to stop in her tracks at his arrival. She bowed, causing you to turn on your heel as he questioned, “What seems to be the issue here?”
“High Elder–” Diya went to speak, but you had cut her off.
“High Elder Yubie, I’ve come from the Hall of Insight bearing foresight of mishappenings in the Xianzhou Yuanqiao. The Palace of Astrum would not heed my warnings. I must send word to them, and only you can help me by getting into contact with their High Elder, Levioram Solis.”
Yubie said nothing, staring at you in a way you could not describe. It was a look you’d never seen before– one of interest, perhaps, instead of unease. You did pique his interest though. He’d never met a Drashta, or heard their insight, and you were certainly not what he was expecting. You wore the robes of a faction Master, yet struggled to gain the respect you were entitled to. He was unsure if it was because little was known about your capabilities, or if it was because you were technically still young. The horns that most Vidyadhara lacked were present with you, only himself and a few Preceptors wearing them with pride.
He found you to be an enigma. Your beauty on top of your gift almost intimidated him, and it took him a minute to realize he was staring at you.
“A Drashta,” he mused in awe. “Come, and tell me more about what you've seen. Together we will do what we can for our sister fleet.”

The reason none of us are normal about the Silmarillion after reading it is because it’s about so many things. Even disregarding the Histories and the Unfinished Tales, the Silmarillion is about doom and brutal defeats and generational curses and fatal flaws and the breaking of cycles. It’s about flawed gods and family feuds and love that defies fate and the inevitable loss of all things beautiful. It’s about looking back thousands of years at the men and women of myth and legend. It’s about the wrenching tragedies and the glimmers of hope, it’s Feanor putting the first torch to the swan ships and Turin falling on his own sword, Fingolfin despondent summoning Morgoth to come out and face him and Beren and Luthien stealing a silmaril from his crown, Elwing saved against all odds and hope and Earendil climbing to the peak of the gods to plead for mercy - and winning it. And it’s also about getting naked and death battling a werewolf with your teeth.

Im alive, lol. Inuyasha AU for Lucemond just because. Ok, I’m in way to many fandoms for my own sake, but meh. For the ones who don’t know, Inuyasha its a japanese anime, the simple plot, they are in feudal japan, and the’re are demons or youkai, in the original anime the male lead (Inuyasha) its a half dog demon or hanyo, his mother its a human and his dad its a famous demon (Or Inuyokai/Dog demon), in this case Lucerys its Inuyasha, Rhaenyra its his youkai mom and Ser Harwin its his human dad. Inuyasha also has a half brother how’s a youkai, a very proud and asshole dude, but also super handsome, lol, at some point in the story Inuyasha cuts his arm with his sword, and it doesnt grow back (for the ones who know lets leave it at that) so if Luke takes Aemond eye here of course its not coming back, canon you’all.  Inuyasha its like a very nostalgic anime from my childhood, I love it. I dont really ship Inuyasha with his brother, but Sesshomaru its to much like Aemond some times for me to ignore it, obssesed with his pure blood, his lineage and with power, also with pantene long white hair, do I need more? He also hates hanyo to the bone, specially his half brother, how can I not put my fated feud here? Lol. I like to think that the Targs are this very powerful and old Dragon Youkai family, Rhaenyra being well, Rhaenyra, doesn’t give a shit and goes and falls in love with Human Harwin and has all of her 3 hanyo children and has the time of her live with them until Harwin dies, because well, he’s a human and humans die, specially in feudal japan times lol. You can’t really hide being a hanyo because other youkais and hanyos can smell it, so no Laenor papa sadly, but hey, they are happy, the Targs, specially Aemond, can bitch about their pure blood all they want. Because anime magic and so on, Youkai and Hanyo don’t age like humans and they also have a bunch of other cool things, like weird magical swords and powers. Luke its not that good with swords so he uses a bow and arrows (Inspiration from Ñuhon its that you?), Aemond of course has a sword. Luke should have something more dragon like to show he’s a half dragon hanyo, but I really wanted to give him Inuyasha cute little dog ears for this drawing, we can also think they’re doing cosplay hahahahahhaa.  Fated feud forevah, Aemond its a snobby Oh no my pure youkai blood you damn hanyo ruin everything bla bla bla, and Lucerys always end’s up figthing with him for it, thats how you end up lossing eyes you’all. That’s also a very good way of ending obssesed with your hanyo nephew, hehe.

1, 7, 13 and 17 for your ask game!
hello!! thank you for the ask friendo :]
ask game link for reference
1: favorite or funniest nicknames you've gotten
I haven't gotten a ton of nicknames that I've liked, bc usually nicknames are based off of your 'real' name and I'm closeted to most people I know irl, but one of my friends nicknamed me Emsy, and some of my friends used to call me Mouse in middle school bc I was a very wide-eyed and confused child. but I do really like nicknames when I get them :]
7: an excerpt from your funniest, weirdest, or worst essay from middle school or high school
okay so freshman year of high school, we read romeo and juliet, and i had read it before but not in an academic context and so when my teacher said we were going to write an argumentative essay on which character was to blame for the whole... situation, i was like. no. that's not the point. so i very spitefully wrote an essay that i ended up getting an A on, which was cool because it very much did not fit the prompt. here's the intro:
Placing the blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet has been debated for centuries. Their tragic fate leaves the audience wondering: who was most at fault? Can the blame even be fairly shifted onto only one person? In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, two people become infatuated with each other, but their families have an ongoing feud that limits their relationship. Many characters have expectations set for the two, whether those expectations be that they should be enemies or that their love will fix the feud. They eventually take their lives as the result of a misunderstanding. However, it is clear that Romeo and Juliet’s deaths are ultimately caused by the toxic society and surroundings their own families helped create, and the arbitrary laws of society that their families enforced.
idk, i just think it's funny that younger me was like, i don't want to do this. i'm not gonna blame one character, that's not the point of the story. fuck society.
13: something you really want someone to ask you about
i could literally talk at you forever about my oc insert hunger games fic, the first part and the second part (wip) (i have three parts planned) are currently almost 46000 words and the main character is the closest thing i will ever have to a child. i've decided i'm gonna post the first chapter of it on ao3 in a few days and then figure out a regular update schedule after stuff gets straightened out (i'm moving), but if you ever want to get distracted send me an ask about literally any of it
17: government assigned ao3 tag (choose one you really like, one that seems accurate to your life, or find a generator)
one i really like: Mutual Pining
if i'm in the mood to read fics with ships, i'll find one of my fandoms and sort by mutual pining. i love these fics bc usually the complications are internal emotional complications instead of things like cheating. (note: i do not support censorship. just because i don't like reading about cheating does not mean i support censorship of that sort of reading material. curate your own experience, do not attempt to control others'.) i also like fics that have a little bit of emotional build up through pining or smthn bc it helps me get more invested :]
one that seems accurate to my life: Alternate Universe - College/University
mostly self explanatory (i'm in college and it feels like a different universe)
generator assigned tag: Historical Inaccuracy
as a History major that's hilarious
thank you again for the ask!!! :]

❕Hello Lucemond Nation❕☕️
— I know sometimes that the days can be rough. Especially when truthing such an amazing ship, right? I know mine can be haha;
But won’t you look at that that.. only 58 fics until we hit 2000 Fics!!! Authors who see this give yourself a Pat on the back for me, and readers kiss your palm and place it over your lovely hearts for any charming comments you have left and kudos you have gifted to our Lucemond writers.
In every writer, there is a reader. So we know how amazing it is to read an updated fic. Getting a new chapter in can be a real chore and can exhaust the mind. So readers, be considerate of the authors perspective on the demand of an update!
New chapters take time. Deciding where to go that is appealing to yourself and the audience takes time. The wait can be so rewarding! Do not discard a work or talented author just because it has been a while since the last updaaattee. Have patience because guess what? The author is human too, with a life outside the little fairy box known as a phone (or computer for some folks). And as a writer myself(+from my perspective), we can’t wait to get a new chapter out. Its so lovely to work on something others can enjoy while also being able to enjoy making a story. Plus it is actually pretty difficult to fit in the shoes of a character who is not an OC to make a fic pov sometimes. So be mindful of that if you would be so kind!
There are so many lovely and eye catching stories in our not so little nation we have here. But there are times where I see hateful comments before deletion or the mention of them being received in notes of updated works. My dear Writers, it is so Ok to delete hateful comments! Please do! Don’t let that negativity stick and btw Ao3 has a muting option; so mute that commenter then delete whatever you received from them! Do not respond, don’t give their negativity that satisfaction. As for Readers, don’t be that person. If you don’t like something, don’t continue to read it and do not leave a rude comment that can be hurtful to the author who is certainly trying their best.
I’m the kind of person who just loves leaving comments, replies, and posts. I like to voice my passion, thoughts, and feelings on something but only if it is positive or simply full of curious questions. And I do not however expect my questions to receive an answer in any other form than the chapters that are brought with updates. But questions always reveal that you are interested and your mind is really wrapping around the plot of the story. I loved seeing questions in my comments because it will be so lovely to answer them with time!
I also aspire to be the commenter, when you see them, you recognize that little name and wonder what I left this time!. It’s nice to have a constant. Sureee sometimes I feel a little awkward being the first to like posts/tweets/blogs, reply, and comment on updates- stuff like that but I do it anyway because I will be doing so eventually! This is mostly to relieve any one of your anxieties you may have regarding this topic. Or thoughts they never really considered when looking at things a certain way. Don’t be scared to give that poster some love!!!
Let us ALL respect each other yea? I hate to see arguments. There is no need for them honestly. You either agree or you don’t, we can be civil in our discussions. It doesn’t have to lead to a true argument. Also don’t stand idly by and watch a discussion get out of hand, help distinguish it. We are all here for the same thing aren’t we? Try not to allow any toxic vibes in because at the end of the day what was the reason for your fight? A ship that is literally problematic enough on our hands, we don’t need much more than the dynamic itself.
The only Fated Feud we should be having is the one in the dialogues of our lucemond fics, nothing more my dearest loves.
Leave a reply to this blog of mine if you have something you wish to say, vent/rant about; or simply go to my profile and ask me something. Might I remind you that you can Anonymously because it is enabled for my ask box, or you can as your profile I don’t mind.. It will be responded to no matter what and you can have your own privacy if you so wish! <33
Now.. Without Further ado, I wish everyone an oh so very Happy Thursday! ❤︎︎ Sit down with a cup of tea or any beverage of your choosing, put on something good to watch, and maybe even read a little.
I recommend a fanfic(whatever kind it may be, we all have our Vices) or just a book. A personal favorite of mine is to read some Edgar Allan Poe, reading some of his poems is where I’ll be!
Yours faithfully,
Tealeaf and River🍂
For a bonus: Look what I got for my daily Masterpiece. It’s called Forest by Bokuyō Katayama, 1928. Isn’t it beautiful?

aegon favors lucerys over his own siblings and jacaerys. may it be because lucerys is actually almost a decade younger than him and aegon can treat him like a toy, as if the younger boy is nothing but a plaything for whenever he isn’t busy nursing cups of chasing skirts. whatever it might be, aegon always has little magic tricks prepared to sweep little lucerys’ mind off, and he would be the first (if not the only one) to be greeted when they all meet for training.
helaena favors him, too. lucerys is a force to be reckoned with, with energy similar to the one of a storm. still, he’s the most patient with helaena, surprisingly. not only that, but he also understands her, truly understands her. he’s the only one who can keep up with helaena’s inscrutable words, and he would never oppose his sweet aunt when she asks for a dance (or the idea she has of one), or when she needs help hunting for certain species of insects until the sun sets in the horizon.
of course jacaerys does, too. lucerys is his little brother, the first to be born after him. the kind of bond they share is yet to be matched by any set of members amongst their family. lucerys is jacaerys’ partner in crime, his other half, the heart of his thoughts and the brains behind his feelings. he would die for lucerys, and he would do it without hesitation.
even daeron seems to seek lucerys more than he seeks the rest of them, for the letters that he sends to the second son of rhaenyra are always heftier in number and length than the ones he sends to his siblings. to his own mother.
and then, there’s aemond. he doesn’t say it (he doesn’t need to, much to his own chagrin), but it’s clear as the summer skies that he prefers lucerys too. he basks in lucerys’ admiration and needs his attention like a sunflower yearns for the sun to feed it. he always answers any and all questions that lucerys’ inquisitive mind might come up with, and if he works harder both in the training yard and with the maesters looking for that very specific impressed look in lucerys’ eyes, well, that’s his business and his alone.
and when lucerys follows aemond around, desperately asking for his love and his time (blessedly unaware of how much aemond would actually give him), they all start speaking. soft mumbling here and there between servants that think are being subtle enough, and obvious jesting from the family members who don’t need to be coy.
“aemond is lucerys’ favorite”
lucerys doesn’t care about no magic trick if aemond is there to talk about a new fable he learned in his lessons that day. lucerys doesn’t have time to chase bugs and dance in the sunlight if aemond says he’s going to help him with his sword training. and he has no time to admire jacaerys when aemond bests them all, even with the lack of a dragon, with such an ease (well practised, but lucerys doesn’t need to know that) that leaves little lucerys breathless.
for they are all right, and the satisfaction of the matter settles in aemond’s guts like a warm blanket. for he is, indeed, lucerys’ favorite. he’s the favorite’s favorite, and nobody can take that from him.

for neither can live while the other survives …
@alexandersimpleton @meritre24601 Time Fix AU summary!
The biggest problem in this Frederick rewind the past (Time Fix AU) fic is, he only know what he sees/heard/experienced until ep 145 - so that's means certain important CPC plot points that he not witness and unaware will be unknown to him + huge disadvantage that he didn't know what Leland planning. Basic CPC arcs where Frederick participates in order are as the following (crossed out if in canon, Frederick not there so he has no knowledge regarding about it):
Introductions up to Jamie's wake, and the day after (ep16) he returns to the past
Gwen's slumber party diverges to CPC learns the time curse that Frederick had from the letter [example of the 'cursed' letter taken from Spy x Family latest chapter]
Tumblr media
3) The trip to the amusement park -> instead going to the site 'perfect relation-ship' with Jamie, here Frederick going to the Mirror House
4) Prez lecture, meets Aurelia and Renee changes to Frederick first meeting to CPC, instead much later on like canon + Frederick's day (ep33-34) will changes, I think idea that he try to explain his curse to his family sans Leland will be good
5) CPC outing lessons -> CPC learns more about the time curse, how it connected to Frederick and Gwen + meeting Princels, but have outcome that Orson geeking about ToRT with Fred + Balcony serenade, not sure how it goes bit it differs with canon because now Fred w CPC
6) Lance BD party - CPC got closed for a week because Prez got period and transformed to be were-spider atm
7) Aurelia's trickery not sure how to make new plan for her outing both Gwen and Fred from the club + Premonition, Frederick's initation, Whitney meets CPC early and reveals the truth about the curse name is "star-crossed lovers"
8) Potrait duel + moving the part of Pastel queen potrait mystery in here, comes quicker because deadline sooner
9) CPC intruder arc - the day when death premonition happen
10) Switching the order time of Gwen's dinner party and Jamie's art show event? Kinda interesting to add Beckett and Leopold in the dinner guests but is that realistic?
11) Calm before storm, countdown of less than a month for the "death"line - revealing truths about the Diary of Lilyth (Gwen's side to prevent her death) and Leland's Plan (Frederick's side to prevent his death, deeps in the hole)
12) The Gala, is the final arc in this time fix AU with;
good ending: they discover the nature of their death, succesfully thwarted it with capturing Leland with crime of faking artifact.
bad ending: their efforts fail, Gwen and Fred doomed to die
P.S: regarding "Star-Crossed Lovers" curse
Two lovers doomed to be kept apart no matter how hard they struggle to be together. It may be Fate, or fatally-Feuding Families, or it may be something as mundane as a few hundred miles' separation, but something will always be in their way. In modern times, the term "star-crossed" is often unknowingly misused to mean lovers who are meant to be together. It means just the opposite — the stars (i.e. destiny or the heavens) have ruled against them, or "crossed" their plan. It usually, but not always, refers to unlucky outcomes. Two lovers might be not together in life, but could be in the after-life after passing away together - now in term of this fic;
somewhere in the middle of the story, Whitney 'crashing' Frederick's initiation a.k.a the Slumber Party when Gwen giving miss princess P.A.N.D.A keychain to Frederick. Then..
Whitney: This the first time I've seen someone with 'star-crossed lovers' curse.. you two fates are intertwined so tightly to each other.. Neither can live while the other survives...
Abbi: wait, why the curse's name is romantic? stars & lovers...
Syrah: Abbi no, is more omnious.. tragic even..
Monika: I remember this similar with the tale from my kingdom.. Orihime and Okibishi
Nell: This curse means both Gwen and Frederick should surviving their future together, or if can't will die together
...So, it's impossible for me to passed away without trace - because I will dragging Gwen to die together with me?
This indeed omnious, but I am kinda glad? This will make sure that Frederick won't thinks lowly about his life. He should survives so we could be together in this world...
#angsts with happy ending (hopefully)

For the ship bingo, I'm gonna ask for the Ghost Husbands, Elias x Rorke
OKAY GHOST HUSBANDS LET'S GO
Tumblr media
SPOILERS FOR CALL OF DUTY: GHOSTS!!!
Ahhh, my favourite divorcees.
This shit has so much fucking potential. We've got the memes, we've got the angst, we've got the potential genuine FEELINGS.
A well-rounded ship, and one that I can't help but adore despite its ridiculousness.
Like. Thinking about Elias who loses his wife, a woman he loves so dearly. He's a man with a lot on his shoulders. And then it only doubles when Rorke falls. Not only has his (probable) best friend just disappeared and probably even died, but he has reason to believe it's his fault. He probably feels like it was all on him. He was the one to drop Rorke, whether he wanted to or not. Doesn't matter if it was "for the better of the team" that man went through Hell with him. That man built a team - near enough to a family - with him.
And now he has to fill in the space left behind. He has to lead the Ghosts, he has to raise and protect his two sons alone. He has to prepare his sons for the worst. Elias shoulders a lot of heavy burdens upon Rorke "dying".
And oh? What's that?
Knock knock, it's the angst mallet! Time to break your fucking heart into smaller pieces because Rorke isn't actually dead, and it's sooooo much worse than if he'd just died!
Rorke went through another kind of hell. And it's one he went through alone. No doubt in my mind that Elias felt responsible, even though the Federation are the ones that actually fucked him up.
And Rorke. Rorke was left behind. Dropped. Discarded. By his own team. His family. The people he spent years training and surviving with. They'd left him to die.
And now he was going to make sure they suffered just as he did. Especially the man he thought he could trust the most.
I think the both of them individually knew that one of them would die by the other's hand. In Elias' last moments, he was filled with fear for his boys; filled with fear for their future- the world's future. But I also think a small part of him, right in the back of his mind, knew that it would come to this sooner or later. An inevitable fate that he should die by the man he'd failed. A man that he'd stuck beside for years, through so many hardships.
In a sense, it was only fair that one of them would be the other's end. Long awaited justice; or a conclusion that should have occured over 10 years ago.
Unfortunately, the pettiness of Rorke was only worsened. He didn't want fair. He wanted retribution. So Elias does not die with any relief, as he knows the feud does not die with him; does not leave the Earth as he does. And instead it plants its roots in his corpse with the sole desire to flourish and gruesomely bloom in the hearts of those he loves most.
Is it a selfish desire, to wish yourself as the one to vanquish bitterness - to shatter darkness - with your last breath?
Well. Rorke did say Elias only thought of himself. Perhaps, in a twisted way, he was right.
Anyway these two are goofy as shit I really hope to see more of these dumb bastards in the future!

I think one of the more interesting things I picked up from Renaissance Samurai was that Fate!Ryouma's pacifist nature is really more of an exaggeration.
Firstly, Fate!Ryouma is a character first and foremost. Obviously we shouldn't expect a character based in a fantasy-historical gag manga series/gacha game to have the most accurate representation of a historical figure. I'm not even to saying that Ryouma's interpretation within Fate is inaccurate either. It's more of a case of what the author chooses to focus on and communicate with Ryouma (which is an interesting analysis in and of itself, considering Ryouma throughout the past century has been used as a propaganda mouthpiece by liberals and conservatives alike within Japan, but I digress).
I had been speaking with a friend about this a while ago (Aelen on Twitter), and one thing that was mentioned in our conversation was how Fate!Ryouma is written as "a kind-hearted gentleman raised by three sisters," rather than the typical "goofy, reckless country boy," we see Ryouma portrayed in other mediums (Ryomaden, Renaissance Samurai).
I think in part it's a twist by Keikenchi to subvert Japanese audiences' expectations with how their national hero is typically portrayed. Keep it fresh, y'know?
But within Renaissance Samurai, Ryouma was not adamantly against war, unlike what his profile and mannerisms in FGO seem to convey.
See the most interesting part about Ryouma is that his views evolved the more he learned about the predicament facing Japan. He was very much on board with "Expel the Barbarians" in his early years, and it was over time that he began to realized this was not the answer to the crisis Japan faced.
The people that touted "Expel the Barbarians" he slowly realized were shortsighted. They didn't understand or refused to admit just how outgunned Japan was in terms of military. Japan, as it was, could not win a war against America, England, France, etc. Ryouma soon realized that in order to help Japan through this crisis, they needed to trade with other countries to catch up militarily.
A lot of people felt that the Bakufu, the government that ruled Japan at the time, could not weather Japan through its current crisis, Ryouma included. The Bakufu was too concerned with maintaining its power, not with the welfare of Japan.
Ryouma wanted to overthrow the Bakufu and restore the Emperor to power. He worked endlessly to make that happen. Recruiting ronin into Katsu Kaishu's training academy to help build a national navy, uniting two feuding domains together in an alliance to make the anti-Bakufu faction stronger militarily, setting up a private shipping company that also doubled as a navy to purchase the latest weaponry from foreign nations. Ryouma was preparing for a war.
But Ryouma came to the realization that an all-out war with the Bakufu would invite foreign subjugation. There was the risk of it already happening with the Bakufu working with the French and the British cozying up to Satsuma and Chousu. A civil war, he felt, would just leave Japan open for the French, the British, and anyone else who had interest to pick it apart one by one.
So, Ryouma drafted The Eight-Point Proposal While Shipboard, the blueprint for Japan's new government that would be used to convince the Shogun to peacefully restore power to the Imperial Court.
So here Ryouma was helping his allies prep for war while simultaneously working to have the shogun peacefully abdicate the throne to the Emperor, thereby avoiding the war all his allies were preparing for.
I don't think it's due to Ryouma being a true pacifist that he wanted to avoid a war, but due to the fact that he felt a war would have been devastating for Japan.
But at the same time, Ryouma also felt that he could not convince the shogun to peacefully abdicate unless the shogun knew that war was the only other option. Either risk destroying the House of the Tokugawa in a war, or peacefully resign to preserve your power in the new government.
His underhandedness is presented within Fate, but I feel like we haven't touched on it to this degree. And I feel like we are really missing that when Fate!Ryouma is presented like a true pacifist.
If the Shogun did not abdicate the throne, Ryouma was 100% going to war. Even if peace was his preferred route, he was prepared to overthrow the Bakufu, by any means necessary.

Ezio: Buona sera, amico. What brings you to this tavern?
Edward: Just looking for a drink and a bit of fun. You look like a man who knows how to enjoy himself.
Ezio: I do, indeed. But I also have a serious purpose in life. I am an assassin, sworn to protect the freedom of mankind from the tyranny of the Templars.
Edward: An assassin, eh? That sounds familiar. I used to be one myself, until I realized there was more profit in piracy.
Ezio: Piracy? You mean you sail the seas, plundering ships and towns, and living by your own rules?
Edward: Aye, that's me. Edward Kenway, captain of the Jackdaw. The most feared pirate in the Caribbean.
Ezio: I see. And do you not care about the fate of the world? The Templars are everywhere, plotting to enslave humanity with their ancient artifacts.
Edward: Bah, the world can take care of itself. I only care about my own freedom and fortune. And I have found plenty of both in the New World.
Ezio: You are a fool, Edward. You waste your talents and your life on selfish pursuits. You could have been a great assassin, a champion of justice and peace.
Edward: And you are a hypocrite, Ezio. You claim to fight for freedom, but you follow a creed that dictates your every move. You are no better than the Templars you oppose.
Ezio: How dare you insult the creed? It is the only thing that gives meaning to our existence. Nothing is true, everything is permitted.
Edward: Ha, what a load of nonsense. Nothing is true, everything is permitted. That's the motto of a madman, not a hero.
Ezio: Enough. I have no more patience for your ignorance. You are an enemy of the brotherhood, and you must die.
Edward: Bring it on, old man. You are no match for me. I have faced worse foes than you in my adventures.
Ezio: Adventures? You mean your crimes. You are a murderer, a thief, and a traitor. You are a disgrace to the name of assassin.
Edward: And you are a relic, a dinosaur, and a bore. You are a failure as a leader, a mentor, and a friend. You are a stain on the history of assassin.
They draw their blades and charge at each other, ready to end their feud once and for all.
