The Masters taking care of a sick reader

Characters included: Simm, Missy/Gomez, and Dhawan

Warnings: being sick (duh) but nothing other than that

A/N: i don't feel good :( so i wrote this mainly for myself as a comfort thing (which is why it's so short) but since it's allergy season and more people than just me feel sick i thought y'all would like it too

Simm! Master

Saxon! Simm would clear his schedule as much as he could so he can spend time with you

He'll allow you to lay close to him in bed while he goes over paperwork or smth

Feral! Simm, on the other hand...

This man wants you nowhere near him. He refuses to be infected with your pathetic human germs /hj

He ends up relenting because of the puppy dog eyes you give him as you beg to cuddle (and because he missed you, but he'd never admit that)

Missy/Gomez! Master

Her maternal instincts come out big time when you're sick. She dotes and fawns over you like you're a child

Insists that you get plenty of rest and even makes you soup to help you feel better

She hums soft lullabys to you while tucking you in bed, setting herself up in an armchair nearby so she can be there in case you need something

Might even play your favorite song on the piano if you ask really nicely

Dhawan! Master

Such a sweetheart tbh. He refuses to let you lift a finger, doing everything for you since you're much too fragile to do it yourself

He makes you some sort of warm drink, like tea or hot chocolate, to help sooth you (no coffee though, you're not allowed the caffeine until you get better)

Literally is at your beck and call the entire time you're ill. You could ask for a live dodo bird and he'd go out of his way to get it for you if it makes you happy

Stays in bed with you most of the time, meaning it's possible he ends up getting sick after you unfortunately

This is Jack.

He's talking about the Master, right. He's telling the Doctor that he's not alone. That the Master is still there for him.

(I mean, he could be talking about Gallifrey and the Time Lords not being dead, but I think it's more probable that he's talking about the Master. Since we're in season 3 and the Time Lords are nowhere, while the Master does appear at the end of the season.)

He's telling the Doctor that he has hope. He doesn't have to be alone. He's not the last of his kind. He doesn't have to carry alone the memories and the grief. He has someone he could rely on, someone who understands.

He's trying to reassure the Doctor, calm him, that he's not alone. That the Master is still there for him.

He knows how important this is for the Doctor. How important that he's not alone. That he still has the Master. I-

Okay but imagine a yandere Master/Missy (or even a yandere Doctor). Imagine them defying all laws of time and space to be with their "one true love", someone who doesn't even know they exist

Imagine how terrifying it would be to find out that not only has this person been obsessed with you and has stalking you for months, but they're a literal Timelord. So that means no matter where you go, or what you do, or how far you try to run, they will always find you in the end. Even if you die or escape, they will without a doubt somehow manage to bring you back, just because they love you so much

Bonus points if this crosses over into regenerations, meaning even if you do manage to get away from them there really is nobody who you can trust, because you never know when they're going to come back with a new form

Celebrating Christmas with Simm!Master and Missy:

A/N: This one isn't a request, just me trying to write some Christmas things in celebration of the hollidays. Enjoy and happy hollidays!

Celebrating Christmas with not one, but 2 Masters?! This will be eventful.

You've decorated the place with a Christmas tree, presents, and are baking to make the place smell like chocolate chip cookies.

Since this is the Master's first time getting to celebrate a proper Christmas, you want to make the most out of it for them.

They're both secretly fighting for which one will get your affections the most.

"Oh, look, mistletoe! How convenient! Give us a kiss!"

"No, me first!"

You surprise them with handing them each a present. Honestly, despite what you may think, they weren't expecting to receive anything.

Next it's their turn to hand you a present. They are of course both fighting over which of their's you will open first.

In order to help calm them down after, you put on Christmas movies and specials, explaining it to them with some mugs of hot chocolate.

They enjoy it! After all, they've always had a fascination with TV.

The night ends with you snuggled up between them, fast asleep on the couch.

You Sit In Their Lap - Doctor Who Preference/Reaction

Been awhile huh?? I've been really busy and have been having a hard time, but I've picked myself back up a good amount and I'm ready to start making more fanfics!!

I was so tired while making 10 and the Masters so they might be a lil weird lmao, plus I had a few drinks before hand😬

This is more aimed at FEMALE READERS, but I didn't mention any pronouns... I think

WARNING: Fluff, Angst

Nothing seemed to be going your way today, you were so excited to go on another adventure with the Doctor, but the Tardis seemed a bit queezy after travelling so many places in such a short amount of time, so the Tardis was just floating in space until it was ready to go again.

And then your best friend called you, telling you that someone close to you had passed away, and that was more than enough to make you cry on this already frustrating day.

You trudged your way along the halls of the Tardis to find the Doctor in the library. Once you finally found him, you dragged your feet over to him and waited until he noticed you; which didn't take long.

He set his book down and looked up at you with a smile, asking what it was that you needed. You took no time in making your way onto his lap, legs on either side of him, and hugging him and starting to sob and explain what happened.

Once he had heard all what happened, his arms wrapped around you in an even tighter hug, letting you grieve over your loved one.

"Well, now that you've had a good cry, why don't I tell you a story about one of my previous adventures, you know, just to try and take away from the pain a bit!"

The Doctor was looking up a few things in the books in his library, trying to find a new planet to take you to, a planet that had no danger whatsoever on it so you could just enjoy your time there without almost dying.

Meanwhile you were all over the Tardis, headphones on, listening to music and dancing your way to find the Doctor and demand some cuddles from him. You swayed your hips, and moved your body to the beat while looking for the library entrance.

Once you had finally found the door to the library, you took your headphones off and started searching for the Doctor. You found him sitting in one of the booths in a tucked away corner. You smiled brightly and bounded towards him.

The Doctor looked up at the sounds of footsteps, "Oh, hello (Y/n)! I've been trying to find a good planet to go to next, haven't found one yet. Anywhere you wanna go?"

You only smiled wider and climbed onto his lap on the booth.

"As of right now, the only thing I wanna do is cuddle, but feel free to keep looking for planets we can go to!" You exclaimed, laughing a bit at his surprised face when you sat on his lap.

The Doctors face softened as you wrapped your arms around him and layed your head on his shoulder. He could wait a bit until the next adventure, for now it was cuddle time!

Simm!Master:

Being stuck in your house was killing him, yes he needed to lay low for awhile, but the man can only take so much boringness until he breaks! It wasn't even a week before he started to get extremely restless and fidgity because of the lack of adventure.

"This is so boring! How do you humans do it? How do you live without time travel?" The Master asked, sitting on the couch upside down.

You sighed, "Master, I know it's boring, but unless you wanna regenerate every time you walk out of that door, I suggest you stay here for at least one more week, then everyone will forget about you and move on to the next thing."

The Master scoffed, "Starting to think even THAT would be better."

All you could do was roll your eyes as he finally sat the right way on the couch, his face laying on his palm as he boredly watched the television.

Suddenly an idea popped into your head and a small smile was put on your face.

You walked over in front of him, hands on your hips, then proceeded to climb onto his lap and hug him, your thumb stroking the back of his neck and your chin resting on his shoulder.

The Master looked at you in surprise; never in his life had someone hugged him like this.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Just relax, it's all we can do for now," you replied.

The Master gave in quickly as he realized how the drums calmed down a bit while you were cuddling up to him. If this is what he needed to calm the drums, then that would be no problem with him.

HeadCannon: Being A Young Time-Lord, and How The Master’s/Missy Comfort You…

(Beware of SPOILERS for S12 for Sachas Master!)

The Master (John Simm):

The Master (at least this one) has never been the one for comforting, not even for himself but given that he cares very deeply about you, he tries to give it a try at consoling you when he sees you upset

The Master at first tries to reassure you with words, no matter how hard it might be “Y/N, there’s no need for those silly things you call tears.”

At first, his words certainly didn’t work

The Master could only watch as the tears flooded down your cheeks

But then The Master felt an unfamiliar pain in his hearts, and realized that he had to try harder to comfort you

So The Master hold yours hand, even if he is unable to do any more than that, and doesn’t let go until you are able to calm down, maybe even after that

Missy (Michelle Gomez):

Missy isn’t the one to get sentimental or express any sort of emotion whatsoever even when she’s alone. Most of the time she keeps any sort of feelings to herself and hides them from plain sight.

Missy has always left the comforting up to The Doctor. She believes he is much better suited for it

But there is one time, when Missy is left to comfort you

Missy tries to cheer you up with her jokes and wits, anything that could brighten up your mood “Do you want hear about that time The Doctor fell into a hole and was trapped in mud? It is quite funny.”

But not even her wits seem to work

So Missy (even though it would normally make her uncomfortable), allows you to hug her, and you cry into her shoulder

As the minutes pass, Missy finds herself slipping into her emotions as she can feel you trembling as you cry. So she tries a few comforting words. “There there, Y/N. You must remain strong. You are a Time-Lady. Everything will be fine.”

Eventually, Missy crumbles into the hug, even running a hand through your hair. And she lets you stay that way until you feel better

The Master (Sacha Dhawan):

In his past regenerations, emotions didn’t come so…easily for The Master. But in this regeneration, The Master felt himself feeling emotions so much more often and intense than he ever had. Angry. Sadness. His emotions were more open than before.

Here you two were, in the temple of the Gallifrey High Council, surrounded by smoke and ash. Gallifrey was in ruins, and by The Master’s hands

Seeing your home destroyed, not to mention the never ending fued between The Master and The Doctor was enough to break you

You had become fuled with anger and sadness that you just erupted, more so than you ever had in your travels with The Doctor

Your outburst took The Master by surprise, he never expecting something like that out of you

At first The Master didn’t react, only because he suspected that his destruction of Gallifrey would have emotional effects on you. But when he saw you break down, screaming and crying, he knew he couldn’t sit by and watch you be in pain

When you laid on your knees, hearts shattered in two, The Master reaches out to comfort you. Kneeling down to be at eye level with you “Oh my dear, Y/N…”

The Master can see the light slowly diminish from your eyes

The Master feels his hearts ache, and he knows that he must comfort you. Even if you hate him. Even if you never want to forgive him, he will still make it his priority to make you feel better

The Master embraces you in a hug, holding your in his arms and rocking your gently

With one hand, he strokes your hair soothingly as he whispers sweet nothings into your ear “Shh don’t cry, my dear. Everything will be alright, I’m here Y/N. I’m right here.”

And he even kisses your forehead, his nonverbal way of expressing his affection and care

The Masters + finding rocks that match the color of each other's eyes

Warnings: some cute and romantic fluff, brief mentions of light hearted threats/violence (it's The Masters, what do you expect), brief swearing

A/N: for anyone who doesn't understand the context here basically there was a trend on tiktok where you and your partner or friend look for rocks that match the colors of each other's eyes and I thought that would be a cute thing to write with the masters (if y'all want me to do a version with the doctors or the companions then just lemme know)

Simm! Master

Absolutely does not want to do it with you at first I'm sorry

He needs to be either tricked or bribed, or you need to catch him at a moment when he's already feeling vulnerable

Honestly it'll most likely end up being the former of the two

Bribe him with extra kisses and cuddles. It'll work, even if he does still complain

Doesn't actually look for the right rock color at first, he just wants to throw rocks at other people instead

Gets mad when you tell him to stop and (lovingly) threatens to stone you

As soon as he finds the one he's looking for he wants to leave immediately, even if you're still searching. He does not care

Acts like he doesn't know what happened to the rock he found that matches the color of your eyes when you ask him about it later on (he snuck it in his pocket and stares at it every night before he falls asleep)

Missy/Gomez! Master

She'd be the most excited out of all of them honestly, even if she doesn't show it on the outside

I'm a firm believer that Missy is a true romantic at heart and actually really loves cliche couple activities okay

Ends up taking you to a stony beach or rock covered planet with her TARDIS, wanting to make a day of it

She doesn't rush you when searching, mostly because she also doesn't want to be rushed

Spends her time finding a rock that matches the color of your eyes perfectly, and if you can't find one that matches hers then she'll help you look

She wants to sit with you on a blanket and hold hands while watching the sunset <3

Later she finds something that'll turn the rock she found that matches your eyes into a piece of jewelry that way she can always have a part of you with her

Dhawan! Master

He doesn't need to be bribed like Simm! Master does, but it will definitely take some persuading

Refuses to let you choose where you're going to search. It's his TARDIS, and he'll take you wherever he wants lmao

Says he doesn't want to spend all day looking, but then does just that because he's a perfectionist who refuses to settle for anything that's not the best, especially when it comes to you

Grumbles under his breath the entire time he's searching because he gets upset when he doesn't find the 'right' rock as soon as possible

If you help him look not only will his frustration disappear he'll also get calmer and maybe even give you a kiss as a thank you

He ends up leaving with an entire bag full of rocks because he couldn't decide on just one, so now he has a whole collection of them that's literally just your eye color

It’s a good thing that The Master went batsh*t during The End of Time around Ten rather than almost any other Doctor, can you imagine many of the others having any real sympathy for him?? Honestly? (By that I mean enough so to actually try to help him and forgive him.) Ten was lonely and had his soft spot for the Master amplified, the others, who knows how they would’ve reacted. It’d vary of course, but just think about it lol.

(Headcanons) Going to Renaissance Faire with Simm!Master

A/N: This is a continuation of my Renaissance series, following after the one I did for the Tenth Doctor. Again, this wasn't a request, just a little something I wanted to write. Expect more coming soon with other characters too!

Why would you want to go a festival where they celebrate the Renaissance era when he has a time machine that can just take you to experience it all for yourself?

Oh...you want to have a genuine human moment without the dangers and more of the actual Renaissance? Sounds boring, but okay.

He's moping the whole entire time, constantly expressing how boring this is. Maybe he needs to liven things up?

It's obvious at this point you're going to have to try to keep him under control (good luck!)

He's already deciding to get rid of the Queen Elizabeth the First, but you try to tell him she's just an actress and not the real thing. Doesn't matter, he's the only superior one.

You decide to distract him by saying something you know he would like. "Master, forget about her. How about you and I dress up like a King and Queen?"

As you expected, everyone started complimenting your outfits, even bowing down and going along with the act because you were dressed as royalty.

The Master is now starting to have a great time. He plans to outshine Queen Elizabeth.

He buys you anything your heart desires. You name it and it's yours. You want a necklace? Okay! You want another tiara? Get it! You want to steal Queen Elizabeth's crown and throne for yourself? He's already working on it.

Watching the battle shows, the Master laughs at the violence, commenting on how humans will always beat each other up for no reason.

You introduce him to some of the crazy human food and he is...intrigued. Not that he will admit it out loud. It's all right there in the facial expressions, in the way his eyes widen slight and a small, brief smile comes to his face.

You should have already known by now that if you go anywhere with the Master, it's always bound to end in chaos and destruction.

Queen Elizabeth's throne is missing. Security is on the chase. Word has gotten out and everyone is talking about it. You overhear it, turning to the Master who just winks at you.

"This would be our cue to get away while we can, dear Y/N!"

Now you're running back to the TARDIS with security and everyone else on your tail. It starts dematerializing as you sit yourself down in the throne that caused all the trouble before laughing.

This will be a moment you won't forget.
