Update/follow up to this post: It looks like Neil responded to the Douglas situation on Bluesky...

I'm not sure I entirely trust this reply, as his tone here seems as curt as Douglas's was on Instagram. Also because "moving onto other projects" doesn't normally involve the extra steps of unfollowing someone and removing mentions of the show from your bio and deactiving your Twitter.

So I stand by my assertion that this feels like something personal has occurred, though I don't think we will ever know what, specifically (and it is still for Neil and Douglas to resolve between them, if they want to). Sad days indeed....

Have you seen the most recent story by Georgia in IG? What do you think is the meaning behind it?

Hi there! Yes, I did see this Insta story from Georgia earlier today, and I've been trying to make sense of it ever since...

As to the meaning behind it, I've previously said that Georgia never posts anything accidentally, but the trouble here is that she's made this so vague that it's open to a wide amount of interpretation. Obviously, the first thing anyone would think of would be Good Omens, what with the candy heart with the phrase My Angel on it, and especially the use of "Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy" by Queen. Georgia hasn't really promoted GO season 2 much, though (which of course could be due to the SAG/WGA strikes), so whether this is actually meant to be that is difficult to say.

But I do feel that it is referencing something, because it feels too deliberate for it not to be the case. It's not Valentine's candy season, so it seems improbable that she posted about it to show off David giving it to her, nor has there ever been anything to suggest that he calls her "my angel" as a nickname (or her him, for that matter).

I think, then, that very much like Georgia's Insta story from last week that used the pronoun their when describing David, whatever these stories are alluding to is something that will become clearer in time. As I've always said, I could be reading too much into things...but I also think that if Georgia wanted to say something specific, she would have, but by not doing so, it seems like she isn't concerned with people interpreting it however they will.

So those are my thoughts on Georgia's Insta story. Like the "their" one, I do get the feeling that this is leading to something, but what (and when we might find out what it is) remains to be seen. I'd also love to hear any thoughts that anyone else has...
