Absolutely horrified, I played a match of pier where we (BLU) were heading for failure. I was soldier and figured since we were gonna lose I might as well practice my direct hit aim and switched, but literally when I got to the cart which was going on overtime, our medic is there. Our medic has 100% uber. He has the kritzkrieg. I am the only person around and he makes eye contact with me. I am using the DH which I JUST switched. Today is a bad aim day. I don't do well being ubered, it throws out my composure. I shake my head no at him no please but he mercilessly jumps on my heels and chases me to the enemy team, who are clumped up in groups and literally right there. You cannot believe the utter misery I had staring at them, knowing I had 0 splash in my hands.

Then our medic kritzes me up and the most embarrassing thing in my life happens, NOT A SINGLE SHOT HITS. The enemy team isn't even moving. Full duration, I am blasting, I am shooting, I am missing everything. I didn't even get the fucking Sniper, who was just standing there like a bullseye. Practically begging me to blow him to bits. I quickly found one thing we had in common: neither of us could hit shit. After my absolutely atrocious display, where I could FEEL my medic's life draining out of him behind me as I was on the other end of seeing my careful planning and care of harboring my uber, seeng all my effort wasted in seconds on my pocket without a single bloody limb to show for it, we quickly perished from the enemy team's much more competent duo. And then we lost right after because it was overtime. We would have capped if I ran anything else. Never going to forget the look in my medic's eyes when I turned around after my blunder. Never again.

Demo- This man wears wine mom pj's and I will die on this hill. He wears a shirt that says "wine o'clock!" And has pajama pants with little wine glasses and bottles on them. Has multiple other wine pun-themed pajama shirts, each time he wears one you can feel Scout physically cringe. He's just so silly like that. But I don't think he sleeps in the wine shirts, he just wears them when he has to put a shirt on after he's ready for bed. Also has wine socks, to match his whole outfit ofc.

Medic- I'm frothing at the mouth. But I'm also torn. I want to say he dresses up in that goofy-looking "Christmas Carol" nightgown with a nightcap and everything but at the same time? This all implies he sleeps, which is a rarity, but when he does it is very glamorous.

Just read a comic I found on the tf2 wiki called death of a sales bot and holy crap that was one well put together comic for an update that had a lot of mixed feelings from the tf2 community

mm oddly specific tf2 headcanons in no particular order based around a fic i’m writing (some NSFW, so be warned, and some courtesy of @officialbananabro and our joint brainrot):

• sniper is an insomniac due to trauma-induced OCD. he has to check all windows and doors before going to sleep, and even then often ends up just keeping surveillance out the window all night because he can’t sleep

• scout runs for fun: helps get rid of excess energy and has just been doing it forever so he’ll jog around base if it gets particularly slow work-wise.

• scout is a comic-book enjoyer. what comics he likes are up to individual discretion, as i don’t know enough about em to pick em

• spy is a SLUT who is afraid of commitment (hence running from scout’s mom when he. made scout, and probably fucking a couple of the other mercs)

• sniper has a mullet. i don’t CARE what the official art says. THAT MAN HAS BUSINESS IN THE FRONT AND A PARTY IN THE BACK

• spy is a bottom fuck you

• sniper is NOT into piss but WILL make jokes about it and WILL NOT DENY IT when it’s brought up

• soldier cannot comprehend that two mercs would be fucking until it’s literally spelled out for him. he’s not homophobic he’s just a lil slow

• medic and heavy have been happily married for (probably) decades

• medic knows ALL of the hot-goss around base. he knows who’s fuckin who, and who knows about it, and who is SUPPOSED TO know about it. and he relays all of this information to heavy during brunch cause he thinks it’s funny

• sniper and medic are autistic, scout has adhd, soldier and demo have PTSD, and somehow spy is perfectly mentally healthy besides having mommy AND daddy issues (probably)

• engie is smart enough to determine who’s hiding relationships around base, but is polite and minds his business

• basically everyone knows sniper is fucking spy, and when he starts bonin’ scout, EXCEPT for soldier. and when sniper and scout announce their relationship soldier’s the only one to be like “WOW CONGRATULATIONS BOYS WHO WOULDA THUNK” but everyone else is unfazed

• medic is a HUGE masochist and likes heavy *literally* throwing him around the room during sex. like homelander-stormfront chucking-through-the-wall type shit. heavy’s not as into it but it makes medic happy so he does it

• spy also enjoys getting his hair pulled, but won’t take the mask off during sex so his partner has to do it from under the mask/use the mask instead (without pulling it off)

• scout and miss pauling, after scout confesses and miss pauling rejects him due to being lesbian (among other reasons, but that’s the biggest one), they become gay besties and scout goes to her for advice on sniper n they gossip n such

• however miss pauling being miss pauling already knows pretty much everything before scout gets to her so she’ll just. give the advice before he can even ask it. example:

s: “hey, miss pauling, can I ask you sum’?”

mp: “i can’t help you nor sniper with sniper’s ocd-induced insomnia, that’s something he needs to work on himself before i, let alone you, go butting into it. give him time, and be patient, and he’ll come to you when he’s ready.”

• also pyro, of course, knows everything but is too busy hosting tea parties and setting her guests on fire to do anything about it. shorty is living his best, aro-ace life, unproblematic and slaying.

Meet the zoodiacs.

The "Zoodiac" monsters are based on the Twelve Animals of the Chinese Zodiac, with each monster being a slightly anthropomorphized version of their respective animal. Each monster also wears an oversized gauntlet on either their left or right forearm, with which they wield their own respective weapon, and a belt marked with the Earthly Branch corresponding to the zodiac animal.

The weapons that each hold are a sacred armament granted by a legendary hero. These weapons were used to slay a true king. A true king is a creature of chaos if left unchecked could end a Continent in a day. Three of them are evil except one. The good one is a piece of the legendary hero's power that manifested after he and his adversary fought.

You will get to meet them based on order of the Chinese Zodiac.

First up Ratpier. Ratpier is a rat+rapier. The power of this zoodiac is duplication think naruto with kage bushin no jutsu. The clones can only be two active at a time but there is no cool down. Ratpier is good at fast piercing attacks and dodging. Ratpier is considered physically enept at the group and physically weak among them. Ratpier is good at distractions and making weak points. Ratpier is This power is based of this cards effect. The power is so busted that it had to be limited. So functionally it just becomes an extra main deck zoodiac.

The personality is that of a prankster that has to be disciplined every now and again for the pranks. Very clever and the best at stealth among them.

Gender is something that is very confusing with this one as Ratpier could very well be male or female and even the other zoodiac don't know but only one of them knows but pretends not to for Ratpier's entertainment. Ratpier is the best at espionage missions as nobody would suspect that a woman would be the thief if the thief was a man and vice versa.

Ratpier is implied to have both male and female genitalia.

Meet broadbull. The name is a mix between broad axe and bull. He is a himbo who acts like a responsible but clueless father. He can summon the help of the others to teleport to him. That hammer has made mountain ranges to a mountain. He is best friends with Ratpier. He is the only person that know Ratpier's gender. He never told anyone as Ratpier told him to never say it. That or he just forgot. He is the most honest and hardworking out of all the zoodiacs. He has that type of personality that people will give him free stuff at the market for helping all the people who worked at said market.

Meet tigermortar It is is a combination off tiger and mortar.

She is riding what can functionally be a canon and quad bike. That canon is so strong one charges shot and it has made a mountain into a valley. She has multiple different types of ammo can be used to destroy different things. One of them happens to be able to destroy a curse, spiritual being or demon. This ammo doesn't destroy physical objects but can destroy things in the spiritual objects or creatures.

This woman has learned a lot of exorcism techniques that she can make chongyun's family look like amateurs with the amount of knowledge she can has.

Her personality is that of a down to earth and courageous woman. She also has this ability to inspire morale of people most commonly soldiers.

Meet bunnyblast. The name is a combination of bunny and blast.

She has a blunderbuss. Her weapon is known as a supportive weapon despite it being a gun. She can shoot a healing ampule that can create a aoe field or have a bullet that has high knockback and recoil. This allows her to sort of fly infinitely with the help from the knockback. To understand the mechanics on how this works. Has anyone seen the tf2 rocket jump. Yeah she can fly like that.

She acts like a rabbit as well being a very expressive person is known to be a giant ball of Energy and fun. She also has a weird love of explosions and loves to blow stuff up. The only difference between her and klee is she actually tries to keep it safe.

Meet drident. Her name is a mix between trident and dragon.

She has the power to just make something or someone spontaneously combust, ignite, freeze or petrify in an instant. She has to aim that giant trident and it will shoot a laser that can instantly disintegrate anything that was shot by it.

She is considered the head matriarch of the family. Earning the title of grandma. She is the oldest by far. She is a grandma. When she is mad that trident isn't the only weapon. She can and will smack you with anything. She has this aura that is some how comforting yet intimidating. She is a very strict teacher. She can be judgemental at times but only at adults. She loves to spoil her grandchildren.

What happened when she was in liyue. She has roasted the hell out of all the adults in liyue. So far, only Baizhu, XinYan, Yun Jin, Ganyu, Yanfei Keqing and Xiao have not been roasted to oblivion. XinYan, Yun Jin, Keqing and Xiao are considered her grandchildren with Xiao and Keqing going through a rebellious phase. Baizhu has an illness so expecting him not to be as strong is normal. Yanfei is one of the few who received her praise as one of her best grandchildren. Ganyu was also the same as yanfei expect she told her to get some rest and sleep more. Baizhu is one of the few adults who received her compliment as she likes him but tells him this. "I don't support you trying to get immortality. I want to tell you as I had many friends but what happened in the end was I saw them all grow old and missed my life with them. I kept moving on as my family was there. I don't want you to see your friends and family die. I am can understand why you want to cure your disease so that you can be normal. "

1.Miss Pauling

•Gay People:

-Very supportive

-Probably queer herself

-Very Understanding

•Trans People:

-Ally

-Uses proper name/pronouns

-Stands up for her trans employees

-Recognizes both binary and non-binary genders

2.Zhanna

•Gay People:

-Simply doesn't get it

-Is weirded out by it but probably won't say anything

-Similar to Soldier in beliefs but less friendly towards lesbians

•Trans People:

-Transness is an entirely new concept to her

-Actually more supportive than Soldier

-You're probably the first trans person she knows

-If you can explain it to her in a way that makes sense to her, she'll use your proper name/pronouns

-Still heavily confused about nonbinary people

3.Grey Man

•Gay People:

-Very homophobic

-Gives money to homophobic politicians

-Seeing people happy hurts his soul

•Trans People:

-Doesn't care that much about GNC people

-Would drop dead at the sight of a drag queen (she slayed too hard)

-Very transphobic and intersexist

-Actively profits off of transphobia

4.The Administrator

•Gay People:

-Weirdly chill for someone her age

-She's too busy being a girlboss

These are just like general ones btw nothing lore based but I WILL make a post about Sniper and Spy lore based headcanons because I’m obsessed with them. I hope this doesn’t reach the wrong crowd because on a scale from gigachad sigma male - cringe woke sjw I’m certainly up there I won’t even lie.

Anyway I’m starting with Heavy idrk I haven’t thought about him a lot so I’ll just say he’s gay for now

Medic is gay AND trans. I personally think that Medic has the ability to just like attach body parts to people even if they weren’t originally theirs (Sort of like Giorno Giovanna I guess) so hypothetically he could give himself a penis, but I think he’s slaying his boypussy like fr. I definitely think he cut his boobs off though and he’s on T (but I think he kept some boobage because I just do)

I LOVE MS. PAULING. I AM ONE OF THE BIGGEST MS. PAULING FANS AND I THINK SHE IS TRANS TOO. I also think she’s pan and in a T4T relationship with Scout and I am absolutely getting to that later. I think that Ms. Pauling would slay with her girldick but she cut it off anyway for the lolz. She probably gave it to Medic, not in a sexual way she probably just thought he’d find it interesting because he literally has a fridge full of body parts and organs. I think she’s besties with Medic like I think they’re pals and I think Medic gave Ms. Pauling boobs bc she asked (I think they’re besties because I love them both by the way)

I think Sniper is cis and bi despite how much I love him there isn’t much else to say about him

Pyro. I LOVE PYRO. Saved the best for last. Normally I have a lot to say about them but I’m starting to get bored with writing this so I’ll cut it a bit short. @astr1d77 Showed me the light when she first mentioned this. Pyro is nonbinary transfem and aromantic. But I think Pyro likes to appear more masculine but they’re transfem nonbinary I think that’s real. My dad is making chili dog for dinner.

Workin on an au and I should probably wait until I have more drawings done BUT...Im pitching my Hex tf2 au, Its pretty barebones atm? it follows the comics closely in that theres 2 teams that then combine into one, but think more ‘A bunch of separately hired mercenaries im forcing to work together and I don’t even give them a matching uniform i just make them wear a patch’ More Info and Rambling below the cut, not really in any order, i just wanna get Ideas Out into the world!

Reginald and Lionel - Blutarch and Redmond Mann Carla - Administrator Miss Pauling stays as Miss Pauling. Shes iconic. Super Weasel Kid - Scout Irving?? - Soldier (Heavily considered him as Miss pauling?? or Classic heavy??? I literally genuinely dont know.) ??? - Pyro Rust - Demoman (Rocky is either the Sword or the Mom back home. except hes a kid) Bryce - Heavy, melee Lazarus - Heavy. Shoots you dead. Rebecha - Engineer (Considered her for Miss Pauling for a bit) Sadie (yknow who i mean) - Medic  (considered jerimiah for a good second.) Chandrelle - Spy Trish - Mirasmus (trust me) Theres No Sniper. In theory I thought about Chandrelle multi classing, and Maybe Lazarus being a sniper instead?? Or Rust could fit sniper and i can make Lazarus Demoman. Im not too fussed about not having a sniper okay. I am a bit bummed about having two Heavys though None of these are set too set in stone, im ironing alot out. The ones I have the most thought out about are Chandrelle, ???, and Sadie, cause ive started drawing them first! Chandrelle is a spy, im figuring out all the Magic stuff cause Magic def Exists but its not like any of the main tf2 characters utilize it besides Monkey Man. I imagine Vallimir is a magical parasite (honestly wish i could make him the sword) thats attatched onto her and gives her abilities of Cloaking and Identity theft. Eventually in the future Vallamir gets trapped in a jar (like the spy’s head in a jar in medic’s lab) but Chandrelle has enough like, leftover magic to function. and the help of technology. ??? Is just.. Pyro.. Like i understand Sadie could be Pyro if u wanna go that route but ??? is mysterious..funny little guy...doesnt speak...u dont know what they look like..its perfect. The weapons ive picked out 4 ??? are supposed to connect to the Walking game, like its purposely all fast acting stuff. Sadie is just medic. its perfect. Shes a little insane and shes replacing all your organs with spiders!! Super weasel kid is so obviously Scout aswell, look at that man. Hes fast. Hes arrogant. he gets NO bitches and he tries so hard. Rebecha is engineer cause it fits well but like, im not entirely happy with it. Ik characters wont fit into assigned roles PERFECTLY but man. Though i can see her as one of those beach chair engineers in a sentry nest. Im changing the story with Reginald and Lionel a little bit? Im unsure how their feud entirely started, i know they arent related, and I know Reginald doesnt seem like a grudge kinda guy and id agree with you if it wasnt Lionel. When both of them die in comic im replacing that with Reginald strangling Lionel to unconciousness (slay!!), everyone thinks Lionel is dead and goes on about their day. Lionel ends up replacing Grey mann later ^^ thats All very loose. im unsure Reginald just really hated Lionel. So Carla wouldn’t be too worried about him hes chill, so all the Administrator stuff would still happen. I think im also keeping Saxton hale as the same person?? I dont know if anyone in Hex has the same pizzazz and self confidence as saxton hale. Id say lionel. but in my mind hes a twig, hes already assigned a character, and I like saxton hale more. Irving really fits Classic heavy more then solider, but then id have to figure out the REST of the classic team and that is more characters then the Hex Has i think, Unless i want to make hex Ocs
