Endless scrolling turned into you following asleep. When you woke up, you found a pool of spit under your chin and your phone was dead. Rolling your eyes, you sat up stretching your arms before plugging your phone in and wiping your face. Today you had planned to get breakfast with Carolina today, to debrief from the past few days. It had caught you by surprise how much your co-star had been on your mind- an unhealthy amount you should say…

Hopefully this date would help clear your mind and focus on the actual movie and not Adam Driver. 

You arrived at the coffee shop shortly before Carolina did so you found a table by the window. When she arrived: she lit up instantly when her eyes met yours. “Hey girl!!!!” She let out a squeal of excitement as she frolicked over. Standing up, you embraced her in your arms. “Oh em gosh we have so much to talk about!!” Of course, Carolina couldn't wait to start talking. Sitting back down, you took a sip of hot coffee before speaking “So i want to discuss how JJ is planning on building and establishing me and- Sorry- Taylor and Johns (you and Adams characters) relationship”

“He wants you and Adam to get to know each other from the other side of the camera so that way we have something to build off of before we start filming.”  This caught you by surprise.In the past, no directors had asked you to have an actual connection that isn't just acting.

“We have 7 weeks till filming starts and I've already scheduled you and Adam a reservation at the restaurant down the road for tonight- lets get ahead yeah?” Dinner. Tonight. With Adam. It was hard to imagine what this could possibly mean. “So it's a date basically?”

“Oh gosh no silly!” She laughed, shaking her head. “Just think about it as a…” she paused. “Yeah it's basically a date.”

Oh Carolina, why would you do this to me!!

“No the red! No wait- the blue! wait - yes the red! Wait..” Holding up the two dresses and making Carolina pick was impossible. She was your hype woman and you looked good and anything but gosh this woman could not pick to save her life. “Girl, just pick! I'm going with the red-” before you could finish Adams manager walked in-”The cab will be here in an hour” she left quickly after dropping the news. Lovely, now I'm being rushed. 

“Ok pick a dress and i’ll get someone her to fix your hair and makeup-”

“No- I got this. I’ll be out in a few minutes.”

Carolina smiled, looking up from her phone and going over to hug you. “First impressions are everything” she whispered in your ear. All you could do was laugh.

Dress? Red(or blue?) No yeah red…

Hair? Down! No up!! Wait… Down!!

Makeup? Uhhhhhh…

“Ms. Y/L/N! The cab is here!!”

Crap! You quickly grabbed your purse and ran downstairs while still trying to put shoes on. After who knows how long, you finally got your shoes on and was greeted by Adam. 

“Evening.” He said, holding out his arm.

“Good evening.” You joyfully intertwined your arm around his elbow, letting him guide you into the cab. 

The flash of the cameras was bleeding. Being an actor in Hollywood meant stalkers, love letters, cat calls, and of course- paparazzis. Security did their best to quickly get you too into the car with little to no time for the cameras to catch a glance of you and your co-star. As soon as you entered the car- a woman- around the age of 20, started pounding at the window of the car. “Adam! You are so hot! Have my ba-” the car sped off before the woman had a chance to finish. You glazed over at Adam but he didn't seem fazed at all. Was he used to this? The ride was quiet. All that could be heard was the rolling on the car on the roads of LA and the faint playing of the radio. Before you could be relieved of the stress of this event, you stupidly went on instagram and your DM’s were full of pictures that the paparazzis had taken just minutes ago. The pictures were not as clear as expected considering you basically ran to the car. You could just faintly make out the scene of Adams' arm around yours. 

Once you arrived at the restaurant, the door swung open and a doorman held out his hand to you. You hesitantly grabbed it. Making sure your dress didn't get caught in the car door- you exited the vehicle and was once again escored beside Adam and security. Little to no paparazzis were around but somehow, many civilians knew you two were expected. Some profanities and obscure things were shouted but you too paid no attention to them. The restaurant lights were wildly contrasted with the dark outside. Adjusting to the lighting, you walked over to a table that was draped with a white cloth along with two wine glasses, silver wear, and a candle. Adam pulled out the seat, gesturing to you to sit down. Embarrassed, you smiled and whispered ‘thank you’ under your breath. Adam sat down across from you.

“So-” Adam began to speak, his brown eyes looked so whimsical in the lighting. Before speaking again, he cleared his voice. “Where are the menus?” He chuckled, looking around the restaurant. At Least he was trying to make this not awkward as possible.

“I was just thinking that! Have you ever been here before?” You scanned the room, it was quite empty- well entirely empty.

“No, you?” You shook your head. Right as you were going to say something, your waiter walked over, pen and paper in hand. “Apologies for the wait- what can I start you off to drink?” You both ordered a glass of red wine to start and shortly after receiving menus- ordered entries. Taking a sip of your drink, Adam asked “Thoughts on the film so far? Well, the script that is.” He brushed his hair back, still making eye contact with you. You couldn't believe you were having dinner with Adam Driver. He was so beautiful and there was something about him that wouldn't allow you to look away.

“I like it! Also- apologies for Carlonia setting this whole ‘date’ thing up- she can be really extra sometimes' ' putting date in quotes excentauted how awkward this dinner was. You hoped he would just laugh it off but- oh no.

“Carolina?” he laughed, shaking his head while looking down, “No, this wasn't JJs or Carolinas idea. It was mine.”

Play Fights

Every region has their own thing that they do as a fun competition. The West Coast does comedy nights, where they see who can make the most people laugh. The South has what they call Hunt Offs, to see who’s the best hunter. And the Midwest likes to do cook offs, with the South being taste testers.

The North Coast has play fights, multiple rounds through the course of two days, normally held on a weekend. This includes Maine all the way at the top of the North Coast, all the way down to Florida, which allows for a larger roster.

It started as just a thing the New Netherland area did, over time it expanded to include the whole of the North East, then Delaware wanted Maryland to join and soon it spireled to the whole North Coast.

Of course it started out friendly enough, everyone tended to go a bit softer on Georgia since he isn’t nearly as rough as everyone else. Then North and South Carolina would make a bet when they fought, which had Pennsylvania open up a proper betting pool. The play fighting weekend always ended up with everyone sore to all hell and back, saying to themselves to never do this again and specifically never go up against New Jersey again.

Jersey was strong, while it didn’t visibly look like he could pretty easily lift 400 like it was 20, he could. However he often forgot just how strong he was compared to everyone else, it wasn’t like the rest of the states were weak but when compared to them, Jersey was like a powerhouse.

He isn’t too sure as to why he’s so strong, especially since he normally comes off as looking like a twig, however he did believe it was most likely something demon related. He knows his own demon, not father, father is no slouch in the strength department, and Jersey also knows that he could easily get his strength up more. 

It’s not like he wants to hurt the others, he really doesn’t, sure it’s a bit funny to have Northie pinned down after five seconds of fighting and sure it’s amazing to be better than Yorkie, but it doesn’t make up for the fact that he’s hurting friends, people who are basically his family.

Despite him being significantly stronger than the others, he never has actually won before. He always gets in his head when up against Yorkie, always ends up hurting him the worst, always dropping out after and just watches over the betting pools. 

It’s basically tradition at this point for Jersey to tend to everyone’s wounds after this, whether it’s early in the games or he and Yorkie were in the semi finals, it doesn’t matter. 

Jersey has a big heart, a big heart that can’t bear to see him hurt his family, so he’ll try to make up for it. Cooking for everyone involved, taking care of their wounds if Rhody brought a knife again (seriously he has got to stop doing that), just generally being a nicer person for a good week before he starts to go back to normal.

The next time the play fighting happens, the same thing will happen again, a vicious cycle that Jersey can’t snap himself out of.

i have never shared much about my irl bio, so heres a little overview of me 💕

i am 27 and my pronouns are she/her. i got married in 2017 and live with my husband, our cat and two dogs. those babies are my LIFE. i work in sourcing for a major bank and truly love my job. i have chronic lyme disease and PANDAS, along with my bipolar II.

my eating disorder started around 15/16, but was being taught to me my whole life by my narcissistic (mean that word literally) 4n4 mother. i was working my first job, McDonalds. i ate all the time there, like walk past the nugget drawer and grab a nugget here and there. i went from 114 to 126 and lost it mentally. my light 4na turned into 6ish months of b&p. i lost the weight and lived being OMAD and could maintain my weight usually.

it got more out of control in college when i was trying different meds for my bipolar (through my physician). certain meds would make me gain weight, then i would restrict, lose weight, change med then do it all over again. at one point i was STRUGGLING to lose it. i became sooo depressed over it (still not realizing a had a problem). COVID hit and it became a lot easier to restrict and move less. i started losing weight fast, my BP therapist (who used to treat EDs) was catching on and it eventually came to the surface. i still wouldn’t eat, cried about eating and kept losing weight.

i eventually did recover, went into remission and gained 70 pounds (122-192). i ended up having mold in my air ducts and that was making it hard for me to have the usual up and back down you have after weight restoration. through treatment my depression went away and as i detoxed weight started dropping of. it felt amazing. so i ended up relapsing and im 2 lbs from my lowest.

therapy for the ED had a lot of benefits, i got rid of my body dysmorph and took care of a lot of anxiety around showing scars out in public. now that im not depressed and im confined in my body, restricting has been great. i know i look great and the challenge of losing weight is less about how i look and it is not at all about how i look to men, unless you are a man in this community but thats a different story lol

in recovery i found myself as a person and became so much more loving and accepting. that has resulted in some amazing things.

i put a lot of effort now into my activism and it is truly what i love to do. i am a clinic escort and spend hours every week helping patients into the clinic. we also defend at pride events and drag story hours, etc. we lobby for reproductive rights as well as trans, black and other marginalized groups. my org and i are constantly growing and ive become such an inclusive person.

i want everyone to know that you are safe talking to me no matter who you are or what preferences you have. and also know i am very loud about whats right and fight for change even at work. i wont stop fighting for true equity and inclusion.

Spirit's father was absent and he was forced to go to church every time he did something his mom didn't like. After he even HINTED at wanting to be a boy he'd get sent to his grandparents place.

🪢 a hc about their family- okay this is basically like the last one. He was TOTALLY either the oldest child or middle child. He was in charge of raising his siblings and if he had an older sibling they DEFINITELY were the first one to find out he was a weapon and wield him for a while. His mom called him many bad names and sent him to the academy thinking it was a place to get rid of his ability, they kinda never showed up again after dropping him off though. His siblings accepted him as trans btw.

🖕 a hc relating to anger- ONG OMG OKAY OKAY SO I HC HIM HAVING ANGER ISSUES BECAUSE I HAVE THEM. He can get violent when angry, he's not a violent person by any means it just happens and usually happens when he's by himself. Stein though when Spirit is drunk and Stein jokes or presses his buttons too much about the dissecting thing, Spirit will start hitting him. Stein thinks it's funny tho.

🫂 a friendship hc- alright so this will never happen but it COULD IF THEY DIDN'T HAVE SO MANY PROBLEMS but Marie and Spirit COULD BE FRIENDS THEY COULD. Realistically Marie wouldn't want that at all. I've talked about this before with someone but they're like different sides of the same coin. Okay I'm gonna stop because I'm going to make this a really long fucking post but. They could be friends they'd bond over women and other shit TRUST ME.

👗 a hc about their clothes- everything he wears has a cross on it. If it isn't his clothing it's the cross necklace he wears under his shirt. This is pretty short but yeah. Spirit mainly likes his regular attire even if he's very sweaty under it. He does like Stein's clothes even if the stitching is tacky to him. Spirit doesn't really care about clothing much, his drawers are very empty.

💤 a hc about their sleep- ooooh boy. Spirit is still a heavy sleeper, he DEFINITELY snores LOUD. But does get a lot of nightmares, he wakes up a lot in the middle of the night, always feels cold he hates sleeping. He usually falls asleep accidentally on his couch or on the floor. Though, sorry about adding Stein in these but if he ever moved back in with Stein he'd enjoy sleeping next to Stein. At first he couldn't do it he'd sneak out to the couch or have VIOLENT nightmares but after a while trusting Stein wouldn't hurt him he'd be pretty good.

So I skipped right to a wedding and didn’t even get any 1st date info. Pick 2 AEW wrestlers to write for. One you are very comfortable writing for and the second someone you never write for or someone who you want to write for but haven’t yet.

Who asked who, where did you go, was there any awkwardness, and of course was there a good night kiss?

Gaaaaaah, I love this one. I've already written a first date with Cash for Meant To Be, so I'll go for..........still Cash Wheeler (cause why the hell not!?). And because I feel extra lovey dovey for my North Carolina boys, second will be Dax Harwood. I've wanted to write for him, but nothing good has come to my mind yet.

1) Cash Wheeler

Cash and I knew each other for quite some time. We haven't been super close, mostly because I always get super awkward around him and either say the most random shit or nothing at all. Both leaves Cash puzzled, and he doesn't understand why everybody tells him we'd make a great match. So one night at the bar, after a few drinks, he comes up to me and bluntly asks what my problem is with him. I'm a little drunk and therefore not as socially awkward as usual. "My only problem with you is that you make my brain melt every time I see you. I sometimes can't form a whole sentence because you make so nervous." He stares at me while I confess to him before sending a cheeky smile my way. "So you like me after all."

"Duh, I thought that was obvious, Cash." It wasn't to him. He downs another shot before asking me if I would like to go out with him on the weekend. I blink at him before slowly nodding my head. His words haven't sank in with me yet, and when they do, I am in desperate need of another drink. He laughs about it and says we could go to the local fair. I immediately agree cause I love fairs.

When Saturday comes, I am nothing but a bundle of nerves and lose my shit over everything, like when I decide on what to wear for the sixth time, only to end up in a plain black shirt with my favorite ripped jeans and a pair of sneakers - which is how I usually dress anyway.

When he picks me up, I am so startled he actually brought me flowers. I blush like crazy, thank him ten times and smile to myself. This is the first time a guy brought flowers to the first date. It is a little oldschool and incredibly sweet, and I fall so much more for him because of it.

The drive feels a bit funny and long because neither of us knows what to say really. When we arrive at the fair, the mood changes and we finally have some fun once I ease up. Cash is a little bit of a show off and wants to impress me with his skills and strength. He easily rings the bell at the strength tester thingy and wins me a cute dragon plushie. Then, there is a booth with archery, and I just know he wants to brag again. I challenge him (knowing full well that I am ridiculously good with an arrow and bow). At first, he seems to be bitter that I beat his ass and ruined his show-off plan, but as soon as I say the words 'ice cream', his cheerful smile is back. He even grabs my hand which makes my face turn the color of an overly ripe tomato, but he doesn't notice. After our sweet treat, we stroll around a little and just talk. Turns out we would be a pretty good match. As grand finale, we stay to watch the firework and I even have the guts to lean into his side then, glad that he doesn't tense up or move away.

The ride home is the complete opposite of earlier, filled with talking, jokes and laughter. At the door, I thank him again for the wonderful day, the flowers and the plushie as he contently smiles at me...and I actually want to kiss him sooo badly, but am again my shy self. I top it of with my awkwardness as I reach out my hand for him to shake it, and he just laughs about it before he pulls me close to him by my hips and places a kiss on my lips. Thankfully, my brain doesn't completely melt this time, and I kiss him back while running my fingers through his mullet (I have been dying to do this).

We agree on a day for another date before saying our goodbyes. When I am inside, I giggle to myself and do a little weird happy dance.

I have been friends with both Dax and Cash for years now, and they're actually two adorable fellas. But what I like most about Dax (and why I have a little - big - crush on him) is his grumpy side. I know most people would find that off-putting, but I just love him for it. He wears his heart on his sleeve and always let's you know what's up with him.

"What do you mean, you're not going? We agreed on this weeks ago! Once you're both back in North Carolina, we all go see a movie and then hit the 'All-you-can-eat' sushi-buffet again. You owe me one, Wheeler, you cheated last time. There is not a chance in hell that these were all your plates!" Dax laughs at my comment, he always enjoys how competitive Cash and I are over the most random shit.

"Too bad, buttercup, I can't. Family reunion. You know it rarely happens that the whole Wheeler clan meets up. Sorry. Why don't you two just go alone?"

"You bet we will!" I reply before sticking my tongue out at him, and then turn to Dax. "We will, right?"

He looks at me for a few seconds, then at Cash. "Yeah...of course. We don't need him to have a good time."

"Awesome, bye!" And then he is gone.

When I turn back to Dax, I notice he is looking anywhere but my face. I'm a bit heartbroken by his demeanor. "You know, you don't have to spend the evening with me if you don't want to. It's okay...Just pretend we did if Cash asks." Although I say it's okay, I know it's not because then I'll know he doesn't see me as more than a friend.

"What? No, that's not it. I love to go with you. I just thought our first date would be set up in a more romantic way, not because Cash stood us up."

My mouth falls open. "Date? This is a date for you?" I know I've phrased that wrong, because it sounds like I don't want it to be one. That's what he understood too, by the way his face fell. "No! No, Dax, not what I meant. I want this to be one. I'm just surprised you do too."

"Why would YOU be surprised? You're funny and gorgeous, and I'm-"

"I swear to all that's holy, if you call yourself ugly one more time, I will punch the air out of your lungs. Don't think I haven't seen all those tweets! They break my heart every time."

Dax gives me a look I can't really read, but it's making the butterflies go wild in my stomach. Before I get lost in his eyes, I say we should get going or the movie starts without us.

We share some popcorn and accidently reach in for some at the same time, causing our hands to brush against each other. I love the feeling and start doing it on purpose. Eventually he notices and bluntly asks me if I do. I lean in really close to him and whisper a soft yes in his ear. He is so flustered, it is adorable.

Once the movie is over, we decide on not getting sushi, but head for his favorite steakhouse. We have a wonderful evening and I figure my crush on him is very legit.

When we leave the restaurant, I see Cash along with some friends of his across the street. Family reunion my ass! He has sat us up, the sweet, caring bastard! Dax follows my gaze and looks bewildered.

"Dax, just so you know: I would have done this either way, but I have to put on a little show for Cash, okay?"

He doesn't understand, but nods.

"Hey! Wheeler!!" The man on the other side of the road looks around in panic until he sees me and Dax standing there. He feels he's in trouble now.

I just turn to Dax again, cup his face with my hands, and press my lips on his. All the anger I felt for Cash washes away, and I get lost in the moment. The smart remark I had planned left my brain, all I can think about now is Dax.

When we break apart, I hear Cash's voice echoing across the street. "About damn time!"

Dax flips him off before pulling me close, pecking my lips over and over again.
