I love it so much, its unfortunately got some rough spots especially at the start with the character daiya. But as for the story at whole its really great

Its about a man who wakes up with no memories of you he is, where he came from, or why he was buried in the dirt. It's about the journey of this man as he discorves who he was to those around him before he lost his memories. It's about a man deciding who he wants to be in an ocean of perspectives of his character from others.

It's about family and the unbreakable bond with your mother no matter where you go and what happens. Even if that means doing things that no one else will understand or even hate you for doing.

. .┊ꜝꜝ﹒General Appearance : Chiffon is an American Curl kitten, her coat is a soft blend of palish-blondes and whites; ginger and rosy markings speckle her fur, creating a warm colored coat reminiscent of a sunrise. She has longer waves of fur around her arms and legs that appear to dance with every movement. Her ears are rounded giving her a perpetually and curious look. She wears a blue (occasionally pink) pastel Chiffon fabric bow ribbon instead of a collar, and a smaller ribbon of a complementary color around her fluffy tail. 

For in-show reference however, her design is inspired by pre-US Tour 6 and early Hamburg chorus Jennyanydots. I made a little moodboard If that helps :3

If you don’t find her socializing with any of the other kittens or eagerly helping her parents with their daily tasks, she’s most likely off trying to come up with a new ribbon dance routine. But her creativity isn’t limited to dance; she loves playing make-believe and finding articles around the junkyard that she can make fashionable. She is observant and tends to pick up on cues from her environment quickly; like her mother, she values empathy, leading her to be more mindful of the emotions of those around her. Even though she gives off the impression of being confident, she is highly sensitive to criticism and conflicts, which she frequently responds to poorly, making her feel like she's being backed into a corner. Chiffon throws around the word "favorite" depending on the day, not fully understanding its significance, normally while she's snuggling up to one of her parents. Plato and Victoria don't take it too seriously, but they do like to play-fight about who's the favorite whenever Chiffon throws around that word since it does make Chiffon happy. Regardless, they both know they're Chiffon's favorite adults in the yard, and that's plenty enough.

. .┊ ◟﹫ Who they take more after : Visually, I'd like to say a good blend of both, but since Victoria is pure white, she generally appears more like Plato, with her ginger mane and heavier markings around her coat, but her white and rose-colored markings and the careful way she carries herself make it clear she's Victoria's.

But in terms of personality, she inherits a good amount from both of them. Plato's easygoing nature and protective instincts did influence Chiffon's more empathetic demeanor, particularly when she interacts with others. From Victoria, she did inherit her innocence (which isn't as noticeable when she's young but becomes more apparent when she's older) along with her innate attraction to dance that differs from the typical jellicle, and of course the way she moves when simply walking or interacting with others is similar to Victoria's own gracefulness. 

. .┊ ◟ৎ Personal Head canon: Well, any head canon I have about her just becomes canon regardless, but she really didn't adjust well to collars, much like her father; whenever she had one on, she kept tugging at it and needed long breaks of not wearing it. This didn't go on for too long, as Plato and Victoria realized she wasn't adjusting to collars comfortably, so Victoria chose an alternative, ribbons. there were plenty of spares around the junkyard, so each morning Victoria would groom her and ask her to select the ribbon she wanted for the day and tied it around her neck securely. Chiffon did enjoy this, and the spare ribbons did end up sparking her interest in ribbon dancing.

oh, yeah, another thing i noticed that was odd about s5 in comparison to earlier seasons was how much they relied on like. not the history of the doctor, exactly, but the image of that history. whether from little easter eggs of the first doctor’s picture popping up everywhere to i think the two(?) times in the season we get a montage of past doctors. and i honestly can’t remember anything like that happening earlier (with the exception of the time crash short, which felt more substantial to me and was also like. 7 straight minutes of david tennant being allowed to fangirl.)

and i say ‘the image’ because hell knows the RTD era was pulling from doctor who past left, right, and center, but it rarely felt like a moment of ‘look at this old thing, you remember old thing? old thing was cool and so are we for continuing it.’ and more like ‘here’s a species/character/etc from classic who. and here’s how they’ve changed and fit into the new world we’ve built for the show.’

I guess, the difference here for me is that. i haven’t watched classic who. s5 shows me a slideshow of doctors and to me, those are the guys i once ranked by how sexy i think they are. and not much else. i don’t have an emotional connection to an image. but take, say, school reunion? an episode that was my favorite even back when i was a kid specifically because i adored sarah jane? i had no idea who she was then, i only just figured out a little bit ago which doctor she traveled with, and exclusively all i’ve watched of her is that episode in s2 and the sarah jane adventures. and yet, that episode, without the context there for me, managed to make sense to me. i’m sure it was probably even more impactful to fans of sarah jane from classic who, but it didn’t lose its impact without that knowledge.

so, that’s a shift. i don’t want to say it’s a negative one, exactly, because maybe people who have seen classic who like these references and i’m missing something. but, to me, it feels a little more shallow.

(keep in mind i also haven't relistened to the episode yet, only the patreon chapters as they release, so its been several weeks since i've heard a lot of the content lol)

but in a brief rundown:

oscar, the priest introduced in part 32/meets arthur in 33, tells arthur that he thinks arthur is his "purpose" (after knowing him for a handful of days at best(?))

this isn't related to this episode in particular but there's also been a "villan" called the butcher hunting arthur. this was essentially resolved in 34 by oscar hitting the butcher over the head with a bedpan and knocking him out.

there's also been an ongoing b-plot for part of this season (34 and on) in which a creature called scratch helped arthur escape, in exchange for helping him find a new body to inhabit via a stone

^ however, this was generally limited on time as whenever anyone slept with the stone on them, they would be the one to get possessed, so it was essentially "find someone or you're getting possessed"

stone aside, they got a bit distracted (sort of by their original goal) and in episode 37/38 end up traveling to edward william allan's house with oscar

john spends a lot of time being incredibly bitter about the fact that arthur is "ignoring" him in favor of speaking to others (and is generally super negative towards oscar) despite arthur's fair argument that he can't talk to john in front of others/can't ignore interacting with other actual people 24/7

at the house, oscar gets attacked by a creature, leading to the need for arthur to amputate his arm. (this is just important for context lol)

john and arthur also have an argument (again) about oscar; john wants to leave the stone with him, arthur doesn't. this ended up being a patreon poll to keep the stone on us, though

in 38, john and arthur do have an actual heart-to-heart; it was necessary & i'd say they both came out on the other side understanding the other's view a bit more— however, for john's comfort(?) arthur agreed to cut all ties with oscar after this was over

^ (after accepting his help multiple times, being saved by him/his father-in-law being saved by him, putting him in danger, & literally severing his arm. with an axe they found in the yard.(?))

the latter half of 38 was spent with arthur and john opening a portal to get rid of scratch's stone

which they did with absolutely zero issue whatsoever

then, in the last ~3 minutes of the episode, returning to oscar (who was, i'd assume, in some amount of shock) and arthur telling him their partnership was "over" after they dropped him off at the hospital

....yeah......

my tags on my prev reblog re: dean's misinterpreted attitude toward monsters just got me thinking abt sam and the bloodfreak stuff in general and like, as we know a lot of the early seasons were framed in sam's pov so a lot of the time it' him who's feeling like a monster and projecting that onto others to confirm his own beliefs abt himself. like when he finds out abt john telling dean to kill him if he goes darkside sam suddenly is in agreement w/ john saying john's right and dean has to do it because dad said so !!! anyways that's just preface to what i want to say which is, sam isn't really a monster. what i mean is, he's not a monster in the inherent sense that he seems to think he is, and that's part of the reason why dean pushes back against the demon blood stuff because he knows sam can be saved and for dean his number one job is to save sam because the alternative is following john's order and that's something he just cannot do. so it makes sense that dean would do whatever it takes even if that's being a little mean or forceful (calling him a monster, echoing john by telling him not to walk out that door to give sam pause, forcing him to detox) because he does not want to kill his brother.

but anyways, sam is not a monster in the way he (and a lot of fans) thinks he's a monster. he was Not born a monster, it's not something that is intrinsically and inherently part of him. and i'd argue there's really nothing special or "chosen one"-esque about him (aside from the lucifer bloodline making him a better candidate for vessel purposes), he was just a regular baby who was dosed with demon blood, which in the text is treated as a drug / addiction. there was nothing special about any of the babies azazel dosed, they were just the children of people he'd made deals with. i think pretty much any baby (possibly even adult) who's fed demon blood from a powerful enough demon (like a Prince of Hell) would develop psychic powers. so it's not something completely out of his control that's turning him into a monster like a virus or a vampire / werewolf bite where he can't stop the progression. it's not happening to him he's making active choices to strengthen those powers and the more he feeds the more he wants it. everything w/ ruby is framed as him knowing he's doing something "wrong", the sneaking around, the lying. and i think dean's response is along the lines of "we need to get you help. we need to stop this because it's something that can be stopped. and if we stop it then i won't have to see you lose yourself or go too far. because if you go too far and start hurting people then i might have to kill you and i can't do that so please just let us save you." and i think that's fair. yes he and bobby maybe go about things the wrong way but i think it's born out of desperation. and also it's not a rejection of "this is who you are and we hate you for being a monster" it's "you're making choices that are leading you down a dangerous path and we're scared we may lose you so we're trying to stop you from going too far down that road."

like the end goal of all the bloodfreak stuff (ruby's end goal) was to free lucifer and freeing lucifer would mean sam becoming his vessel. they obviously don't know all that at the time, but in hindsight it's like, yea we should've curbed that bloodfreak stuff sooner. also heaven was telling dean to stop sam too and that he was going down a dangerous path and that if dean doesn't stop him they will (likely meaning death) so again, of course dean's gonna try to do whatever he can to stop sam even if it's by not great methods. (also heaven was playing him too bc they also wanted lucifer to be freed so that Destiny could come to pass)

Can you give us some headcannons?

(( oh my own headcanons for bendy? uhhhh sure! lets see...

he is 3ft tall, his ink demon form is 7'7", and his ink beast form is 8ft on all fours

very talkative. he talks a lot in general but even more so when hes excited, flustered, and happy

he speaks with a transatlantic accent and basically sounds like the gospel of dismay bendy because im very unoriginal

talks with his hands and gestures a lot. he also expresses with his tail

animalistic traits include purring like a cat, and growling n snarling like an animal. when hes feeling happy, excited, etc. he wags his tail like a doggy

his tail is pretty sensitive near the base since it got pulled a lot in the studio. it hurts him when it gets pulled so he hates it. used to have a wound on his tail in the studio from when he tried to cut it off but it healed when he got fused with 66

hates when strangers touch his tail. he is more tolerable when friends and family touch his tail. loves when his romantic partner touches his tail, especially the base and tip

also like a cat, he loves attention and will come up to you to just hang out, maybe even try to get your attention so you can give him some love; expect him to rub his head on you too. of course, he will also cause mischief if hes bored, just like a cat. his ink spikes up when hes surprised like a cat as well

(( sorry it gets kinda long so im gonna put the rest under here ))

he just likes to be with his loved ones or romantic partner, even if theyre not doing anything, he likes to sit by them or even on them, lean on them, lay by them, curious about what theyre up to

loves to be held and carried. sitting on your shoulders is also fun for him. he isnt too heavy either

loves being touched, it makes him feel nice. just a pat on the head, a rub on the back, or a gentle stroke of his tail (if youre his romantic partner) will bring up his mood

very clingy, loves to be shown affection. gets jealous if his romantic partner is giving attention to someone other than him

loves to also cuddle, nuzzle, and canoodle

he loves attention and being in the center of it. he gets frustrated if hes ignored

made of ink but can be solid, like hed just have regular skin until he starts melting. hed be a little shiny as you could see in my older posts. he is also very smooth because he is hairless

very squishy, he is so squishy, everything is squishy but his teeth and shoes. i am unsure of the hardness of his hooves but ive always thought of it as two big toes in terms of flexibility. i cant decide if they should be two big squishy toes or two big hard toes

doesnt really have insides since he is 100% made of ink. this also means he has no bones. his bowtie, gloves, and shoes are also made of ink

he is very flexible

he can melt into a puddle to squeeze through small gaps. if hes wearing anything that isnt his normal bowtie and shoes, he'll have to bring it with him or leave it behind

if you are in a room with the door closed without him, he will make his way in by squeezing through the gap under the door. if there is no way in he will beg you to let him in if theres no one else around to bother

he has full control of his ink and can use it to stretch himself out to reach something or transform into anything

has nightmares of the studio a few times every year and every time he wakes up, hed need comforting. if theres no one around to comfort him, he will curl into a ball and hug himself

protective of his friends and especially his family and partner. he will not hesitate to hurt people that dare hurt someone he cares a lot about

dealing with someone thats abusive and hurts others will make him see red

doesnt like anyone touching his bowtie including his friends and family except for someone hes deeply in love with. fiddles with his bowtie a lot

has a long and stretchy forked tongue

bad at playing videogames :(

kind of messy

is ok with spicy food but not unaffected by the heat

doesnt smell like anything

loves watching horror movies even if he gets scared. he also loves comedies with dumb humor

he loves jokes, puns, dad jokes, and bad jokes

likes to get drunk and party

he can juggle and is very good at it

loves to dance, sing, show off, and dress up

likes to be praised as in complimented and admired

collects merch of himself. toys, posters, shirts, whatever there is, he will collect it

loves to kiss and be kissed. cheek kisses, mouth kisses, head kisses, body kisses, french kisses, he loves kissing

if hes in a relationship with someone he really likes, hed go out of his way to do romantic things for them like buying flowers and taking them on dates to fancy places. he will also call them all sorts of cute names like "sweetheart", "sweetie", "honey", "toots", "doll", etc. he will also show them all sorts of affection like hand-holding, lots of kisses n cuddles, and other stuff i cant mention here
