Lowkey feel like your feticizing FTM. I've read a lot of your writing and I've seen mostly ftm characters, mainly smut, and I don't know if I looked hard enough but like no actual ftm problems. I've only seen it being sexualised. And your pretty much only using masculine pronouns, you write the characters as if they were women, only masc pronouns. I understand if it is the reader who is ftm, like cool. Or maybe your not and I'm reading to far into it, cause this is basically what every writer does.
Sugar I don’t really think I understand what you’re saying.
1. I’ve never counted the amount of ftm pieces I’ve done but Im 100% sure they’re not the majority of my work. I looked through my writing tag and the most recent ftm piece i did was my price piece. Edit I just checked, for the month of February I wrote one single ftm price piece, and in the month of January I wrote 2 ftm Price pieces.
2. This is a smut account. I do not depict issues and struggles in what’s supposed to be a smut piece. I have nothing else to say to this. I apologize.
3. I don’t really understand the “you write the characters as if they’re women” part because I do not feel that I do so nor has anyone told me this before and I’ve written for a year now. So I don’t really know how to respond to this part 😭 Edit: do you mayhaps mean when I discuss 141 getting pregnant specifically price? I get that’s not everyone’s cup of tea and I can always put a tag so you can filter out those asks/ pieces of writing
4. I also don’t understand “if the reader is ftm cool”. Do you mean it’d be okay if I wrote trans reader but not trans characters? To that i say, I see nothing wrong with writing trans characters. I think there are more trans characters pieces out here than trans reader pieces.
5. Lastly, if it can bring you some comfort I am a trans dude, my intentions with my writing is not to cause harm and I’m really sorry you got the wrong impression of my account

I recently cleared out all the ask/tag games in my drafts because I realized I'd reached the pile-up stage of putting things in there and not doing shit. Thanks to everyone who's tagged me in those the last couple of months and sorry I didn't get to any!

2,005,606 (crossed the 2 million milestone recently and am still buzzing about it)
3. What fandoms do you write for?
I'm only writing for Jujutsu Kaisen, but I'm posting for Jujutsu Kaisen, Bleach, and MCU.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
I was so sure it was going to be all MCU, but nope, it's a mix of MCU and Hannibal. God, that was my first Ao3 fandom, and my Hannibal fics are from 2014. It's surreal people are still reading/enjoying them.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I do! I enjoy the interactions and discussions. Plus, since I'm not a Discord (or group spaces) person, it's how I find fellow fans to chat with, especially during my initial foray into a particular fandom. I do have a huge backlog of some 1.1k comments from 2020 to mid-2021 because I didn't have much time for fandom in that period. I'm chipping away at it slowly, but I'm pretty prompt about replying to everything on my post-2021 fics.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Hmm, this Hannibal fic, I'd say: Till the bitter end
Let's just say I predicted the series finale in some weird way.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Most of mine end happily—a few are ambiguous, while others are dark.
8. Do you get hate on fic?
Oh yeah. It's only happened with MCU and Jujutsu Kaisen, and they're mostly cases of overgrown children unhappy that I didn't write the ships or dynamics they want.
9. Do you write smut?
It's my specialty now 😎
10. Do you write crossovers?
Nah. I've done fusion-style AUs, but full-on crossovers aren't something I'd like to write. I'll read them, but I'm picky.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Multiple times (MCU and YoI, iirc), both within Ao3 and offsite.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Multiple times, for multiple fandoms! It's always a delight.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I did write one(1) fic that way, but it got yeeted into the void when my co-author deleted her entire Ao3 account. I have a copy, I think.
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
I'm the kind of person who's most devoted to whatever is eating my brain at the time, so right now, it's Yuuji/Gojou from Jujutsu Kaisen.
15. What’s a wip you want to finish but probably won’t?
My writing superpower is that if I lose interest in a WIP, I also lose all desire to finish it and any guilt about it. And these days, I tend to start a fic and work on just that till it's done. So the answer is—none.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I write some smokin' hot porn, and I'm pretty good at threading character study through it. The porn is the plot, in most cases. I also enjoy doing background worldbuilding that serves to give the narrative a sense of depth despite the focus being on characters and relationships.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Fight scenes, ensemble casts, and sustained plotty plots.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
Ah, I can feel my Hannibal-era Google-translate Lithuanian judging me.
In general, I avoid it, but when I write for anime set in Japan, I tend to work in honorifics. My mother tongue has those too, so I know from experience that there are no English equivalents that capture the same vibe.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Hunter x Hunter, I think. That account no longer exists. On Ao3, it's Hannibal.
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
I tend to be biased toward my newer works, so this keeps changing. At the moment, it's (let me be clear) every version of the story ends with you being slaughtered (JJK, goyuu).

I try to always comment. Comments are a gift and I want to recognize the time someone took tell me they liked my work. Plus, I love talking about writing and stories and all that.
What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Life has enough angst already, I don’t need to add to it with my fics. I much prefer a happy ending. That said, since I’ve left everyone hanging on Stella Caeli for 6 months (I’m so sorry!) and it’s at a disaster cliffhanger, it would be that. I am almost done with the next installment, though, so hopefully soon it won’t be angsty either.
What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Maybe Divine? That’s the last part of Hecate’s Summer Playlist. Either that or An Uncertain Spring
Do you get hate on fic?
I haven’t yet.
Do you write smut?
It probably comes as a surprise to most of my readers, but yes. Just not in any of the stuff I’ve written for TWW or posted on AO3
Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Not really, though I do enjoy letting Rosemary and Thyme make a cameo every now and then. I’m not against them, just haven’t done it.

I don’t think so.

No, but Sparky probably deserves a co-writing credit for all of the work she’s put in to my fics.
What’s your all-time favourite ship?
This is a toughie. Certainly, Hecate Hardbroom and Pippa Pentangle – or Hecate and Ada Cackle – or Hecate and Julie Hubble. Honorable mentions include Jean McBride and Millie Harcourt, Xena and Gabrielle, Jenny Flint and Madame Vastra, Rosemary and Thyme, Lady Hardcastle and Flo, SuperCorp, Laventon and Cyllene… The list really could go on.
What’s a WIP you want to finish but probably won’t?
Probably my first fic – a massive crossover with characters from everywhere, a healthy dose of Mary Sue-manship, a bizarre premise that turned out to be not so bizarre when six months or a year after I started it, Galaxy Quest sort of had the main plot point.
What are your writing strengths?
I feel like dialogue is what I do best, followed by plotting.
What are your writing weaknesses?
Action sequences. They feel very stilted to me.
Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
Sure, write it. I've had bilingual characters.
First fandom you wrote for?
Not counting that first atrocity, Xena and Gabrielle – though technically it’s a Mel & Janice one.
Favourite fic you’ve written?
That is like picking a favorite child, isn’t it? Well, I shan’t be in denial about it. Hecate’s Summer Playlist holds a special place in my heart, closely followed by An Uncertain Spring and All Roads Lead to Home.

Sorry sorry I didn’t mean to sound so aggressive before
Your fics have been mostly fine for content, it just is hard to check with the censors since I get a bit squeamish sometimes.
I guess I don’t really get why the mature label is a bad thing since smut is mature content or why it being above/below the cut changes how tumblr sees it. I haven’t really noticed anything get hit with it from you or other writers
It’s up to you if you change the way you do warnings, sorry if I sounded too confrontational I really didn’t mean to come across like that

Unfortunately though, I don’t think I will be removing the period censorship from my warnings. A lot of people don’t understand the severity of the mature content label, because it tends to happen to posts that gain too much traction in a short amount of time.
Because I am a somewhat popular writer, my fics gain quite a bit of attention in a short amount of time, and thus flags Tumblr to pay closer attention to it as well. If they catch a word that’s sexual or explicit above the cut of a post, they can slap a mature content warning on my fic and remove it from the tags, such as “genshin smut” or “arlecchino x reader” for example.
Mature content labels prevent a lot of people from seeing my fic. People who read through searching up tumblr tags, will be unable to see my fics if the maturity label is put on them. It can be extremely difficult to find my fics unless you follow my blog and know how to navigate my masterlist, so reading would be difficult for everyone.
That’s why I put periods sporadically through my warnings, specifically the words that I think are too explicit for Tumblr’s tastes. It prevents Tumblr from catching explicit words and thus removing the fic from tags. I just want people to be able to see my work, so that is why I do it.
I hope you understand I’m not trying to be selfish when I do this. I just want readers to be able to easily find and read my fics. Maturity labels are quite literally what many big writers on Tumblr fear, so a lot of us will censor sexual words in the warnings to prevent that.
I hope this gives a better explanation as to why I do what I do, and also why so many smut writers hate the maturity label lol
EDIT: I also forgot to mention, but maturity labels also prevent my readers from getting the fic on their dashboard. Even if you follow my blog, the maturity label will hide the fic from your dash, meaning you won’t see it at all.

uhhh i wrote a 7,600 word fic in three hours while i had covid? that's prolly the shortest? i count that as shorter than anything i may have finished faster bc i had covid lol but longest? ummmm over a year? multiple years? idkkkkkk the jay with ts fic i posted was something i wrote in 2019 and i edited it (a lot) and posted it in 2022 so??? that maybe?

uhhh i did with friends in middle/high school, but those never left the docs! also grace and i have. very many much so aus lol

RARIJACK!!! it was one of my first hardcore ships, and also was my introduction to queer ships!!! renga is a close second, but rarijack just is really important and special to me for sentimental reasons that put it above renga and others! i am also on a seroroki kick right now. it's not my all-time favorite, but the brain rot seems never ending right now lol
15. what's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
GOD SO MANY i have a folder in gdocs just for ninjago fics and there are folders within the folder for different types of wips i'll never finish - i have That many: "no substance", "baby girls", "drafts"... etc...
16. what are your writing strengths?
uhhhhhhhhhh ngl i'm in a place right now where i feel like the answer is Nothing (writer's block has been Bad recently), but i think something i'm good at in a very specific way is making readers feel the discomfort of characters? like idk i've been told that the way i write ts and tics (specifically tic attacks) makes the readers feel uncomfortable in like a "wow i didn't know it felt this way" kind of way??? i like to think i'm good at characterization??? idkkkk
17. what are your writing weaknesses?
ummm setting and scenery & connecting parts of a story, especially if they're parts that i'm stuck on/transitions are prolly my biggest ones???

i mean go for it as long as it's respectful and like... you tried making sure it's accurate?

uhh rainbow fairy/a-z mysteries... but that was like very briefly on paper. first time like... for Realsies was ninjago

oh 100% hey, little songbird, give me a song. it's just really special to me and writing it helped me cope with a new tic i had. but one that i wrote more recently is fantasies i'm not sure that i'm worthy of which is a ritsu-centric fic and is prolly tied as my favorite fic i wrote in 2023. the other one would be sun comes streaming through the window (& i can't sleep anymore) which is my 21k word kenji-centric fic lol but that one is like... i'm more proud of it than anything, which is what puts it up there.

Mostly Star Wars but within that I have written for The Clone Wars and the Thrawn trilogies.

Perception: My pride and joy - Commander Fox and Senator Riyo Chuchi overcome their own prejudices to bring about change in the galaxy.
Got Your Back: A fic that is actually based off one of Caco's beautiful pieces!
Bodyguard: My first ever Foxiyo fic! A story of Fox and Riyo falling in love softly while Fox serves as her bodyguard.
One Day: My most recent long fic that is rexsoka. It's a modern au that is close to my heart, but I wish that I would have spaced the last two chapters apart more bc I think ppl thought the epilogue was the last chapter lol
These Invisible Walls: I kind of forgot about this! When I wanted to write Perception, I demoed a few of the scenes that had been rolling around in my head here. Another awesome Foxiyo fic :)

6. What is a fic that you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I think it would have to be Consequence it takes place in my Belonging verse which is a long-form series where Thrawn and Eli raise their adopted daughter. The entire series is angsty with fluffy endings, but Consequence ends with walking on egg shells. Thunhe is captured and tortured to try and get to her dads. In that time Eli blames Thrawn for her capture and their relationship takes a terrible turn.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I think all my fics for the most part, but I think Perception probably has the happiest ending because EVERYONE is happy in the end.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Thankfully, no. I have been super blessed to have an amazing community of friends. <3

I do! Though I'm not sure how to describe it other than fluffy smut lol

Not really, no.

I'm not going to put this into the universe lol all wips will be finished!

I tend to be really hard on myself, but I think I'm halfway decent at writing dialogue.

Definitely syntax and grammar.

I'm not a fan. I think it's cool to use it if you intend for your reader to not know, or if there is enough context to figure it out, but otherwise nah.

How many works do you have on AO3?
I have eighteen right now! I used to have more but I get embarrassed about old writing really easily.
What’s your total AO3 word count?
150,934. Which is completely insane.
What fandoms do you write for?
Sandman mostly, but Doctor Who and A Song of Ice and Fire are in there too. Good Omens as well.
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
"You Will Be The Death Of Me," which is my sole published ASOIAF fic, is first, followed by "Temptation" (my fic about The Nun), "Selfish Prayers," "You Were My Whole World...," and "For A Moment We Were Able To Be Still." I think it's part because a lot of my Sandman fics are reuploads but it's still very weird to me since I don't talk about either ASOIAF or The Nun on here at all.
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes! I grew up using Wattpad and the Wattpad comments section often feels like a battleground to see who can get the author's attention. When I switched to AO3 where writers answering comments is pretty commonplace, I stood amazed. If I haven't answered your comment, you were either too demanding of me (a one-time incident) or I'm waiting until I get like five comments so I can sit down and answer them all at once.
What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Oh, it's gotta be "My Ugly Organs (How Lucky We Are)." Partially because using Despair as a narrator means you get angst personified.
What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Probably "Is This Fun For You?" It doesn't make a lot of sense, but to me the resolution is pretty happy.
Do you get hate on fics?
Not usually? I have gotten some iffy comments and one person accusing me of appropriating Welsh culture. But nah usually people are kind.

Yes. I write a lot of smut. Mostly stuff with weird power dynamics.

I've never written a crossover.

What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I have this Rhaenyra/Alicent Siren and Lighthouse Keeper AU that I've been working on since April and I keep delaying it to work on other stuff. It might happen. It might never happen.
What are your writing strengths?
Contrary to the popular stereotype of writers never writing, I will sit down and write nonstop for long periods of time. I usually spend at least an hour a night writing, and every time I sit down for a few minutes, I usually do a couple lines.
What are your writing weaknesses?
I am very weak with criticism and I often set out to write a scene with a certain destination and then I write myself into a corner.
Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I used to do it a lot, back in my Dracula fanfic days (I was thirteen, it was a bad time). I would want to be more confident in my Romanian and/or Spanish writing before I do it again though.
First fandom you wrote for?
Probably Warrior Cats when I was about ten. The first fic I published was for The School For Good And Evil, though. It was on Wattpad.
Favorite fic you’ve written?
It is "You Were My Whole World... (And You Were Up And Gone)," hands down. I periodically reread it because I love the concept so much and guys we need to be doing stuff with the first Despair's funeral. The entire concept is an angst factory.

Currently Mysterious Lotus Casebook! (Although I might sneak something for Love and Redemption or Scum Villain.) I am mostly a writer in the Final Fantasy XIII fandom, although I have spent years in Code Geass and Merlin fandoms. I try to! I'm, um. I'm really bad at it. In that I will attempt to respond to everyone in the first few days, but then I get distracted doing/writing something else and I am so tunnel-visioned that you won't hear from me until a week later and then I feel bad about taking so long to respond. Also I am very, very bad at responding because while I love love love seeing comments, it's just happy reactions and incoherent noises from me. How do I words to translate my appreciation???
6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
...probably everything I wrote as a kid? I have very different ideas on angst nowadays, but I guess while I was writing it... between Gedächtnisse (FMA fic) and Sound of Silence (HP fic), I guess!
Newer stuff might be between The Other (FFXIII fic) and Test Subjects (FFXIII fic).
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I write a lot of fluff pieces nowadays! But overall, probably Something About December (FFXIII fic), since it's a Christmas fic or Family (FFXIII), which was written to give Sazh more support in the third game.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Once, someone pointed out my join date on the website and asked me why I was still writing fanfiction.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I have, but generally don't. Even most of my ships are closer to gen than not. I'm closer to the repulsed spectrum of ace, but I do like attempting to write all sorts of things.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
Yes! Love them! I've written a good handful-- but the craziest one was when I was... 10? 11? and I wrote Orions'Ka on a notebook and when I typed it up, it was well over 60,000 words. It had absolutely everything I loved back then.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not by a person, no. By website bots, yes.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I have had... people ask me if they could translate my fics? My answer is always yes, but I don't recall seeing it anywhere.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I had an entire online journal with my best friend back in middle school.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
...MXTX ships, maybe? I don't feel particularly strongly about ships most of the time, only about characters, who I will ship around for the fun of it. But for MXTX pairings, that just doesn't feel right. They just belong together.
15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
....my old Harry Potter stuff, I'm sorry. Not a fandom I got back into again.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I've been told it's characterizations! And descriptions.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Everything else. Confidence, I guess. Also energy and interest. And once I overcome those, plot.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
...me, or fics that do that? Because I've seen fics do that, full on paragraphs of dialogue in the original language but descriptions in English, and I don't understand.
But if it's just... an important word, a statement, something the fandom would normally understand kept in its original language because there's just no good translation in English for it, then it absolutely works. Some things don't translate well, and fans usually like learning more about their canons. I personally try to keep things mostly in English nowadays, though, but I slip time to time.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Star Wars. I was in the single digits age, and wrote an introspective ficlet on Luke and Leia's feelings about how the original trilogy's ending, sitting together on Endor to watch it all burn.
20. Favorite fic you've written?
...I don't know if I have one. I either tend to be proud or hate what I've written, depending on the day, my mood, wind speeds, and cats.
Currently I want to say Lost in a Moment, because I finished that recently and I had so many doubts about it so I'm proud I got through it.

I think I'm good at darkness, despair, heartbreak and foreshadowing that is so blatantly obvious that I prolong everyone's suffering :)

I am rather new to writing so I probably have quite a few! I am not good at planning my chapters so the word count remains consistent (At least not in my current longfic). I take super long to write things??? And I don't think I'm very good at writing smut 🙃
18) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?
I throw in some Elvish or Black Speech every once in a while to mix things up! I'm not opposed to any language that makes sense and that I speak a reasonable amount of (like German or French)

Rogue One. Was it Krennic Smut. Yes.

I think it's the only long fic I have with a happy ending, so it's kind of the only option.

> Sometimes. Mostly people who get upset that I write about problematic things (noncon/dubcon, abusive relationships, etc.) Strangely, I have written about waaaaay more problematic things (in my opinion), yet no one ever talks about those things.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
> Yes. I write a lot of smut. It's all bad because I have to think of how sex works as an asexual and... lol. I don't know. I have a limited knowledge of that kind of stuff.
10. Do you write crossovers?
> Never. I don't read them either.

> Stolen? No, but I did have a fic where the back half of it was copied. So... plagiarized.

> Someones asked to translate a fic into Chinese once, but I don't know if they ever did. Oh well.

> Yes? Sort of? I mostly wrote it and asked the other person what their OC would say in a given situation.

> I am a shipping junkie. I love shipping. I have many ships and am a multi-shipper. I cannot pick a favorite.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
> To Have and Hold or Absolutely Nothing. I know exactly how each one goes. I know everything that happens. I just... I have started to really fall out of Obey Me, plus both of those fics are very taxing for different reasons. I may just release a plot summary at some point if people want them?
16. What are your writing strengths?
> I have no idea? People tell me I am good at characterization and I accept the compliment, but... I don't know how much I agree with that. (Y'all caught me on a down swing in my self-confidence, sorry)
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
> I have always hated overly descriptive language so I am not great at it. If it takes you 3 pages to describe the couch someone is sitting on... I am out. No thanks. Not my thing. However, that means I suffer when it comes to vivid descriptions.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
> It's cool. I don't speak a second language, so I try to only use fictional languages in my fics so that I don't accidently say anything weird or offensive.

> My first fanfic was for Babe so... I was, like, 8. If you mean when I actually started writing in modern times though... it was Homestuck.
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
> Umm.... I don't know? My comfort fic is Follow Someone Home so... I guess that? But it's not my favorite in the way I think this question is asking. It's just to one I type away at when I need something relaxing.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?
17 as of right now.
2. What is your AO3 wordcount?

3. What fandoms do you write for?
Mostly Hylics, but I've dabbled in several different fandoms. I've also written for the band Ghost, Pathologic, Knock-Knock, created the Neverending Nightmares tag on AO3 which still only contains the 3 fics I wrote for it, and am currently writing an epic novel-length Dark Souls fanfic!
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

I always try to respond to every comment I get since it's not often that I get any. There were a few that ended up slipping through the cracks of my memory, and to those I'm sorry since it now feels kinda weird to respond to a comment written years ago, but mostly if you see a comment that I haven't answered it most likely means I've already responded to the person on another social media site.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Definitely a tie between The Moon is Down and Chaos Inverted, but frankly that's to be expected since Gibby's such a doomed character. Out of all the blorbos I had to write Shakespearean levels of angst for it somehow ended up being the clay alien who's head looks like an orange and/or zoopals plate XD
7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Ironically it's a Pathologic fic I wrote two years ago called Like A Fire Melting Us Down. Basically a hurt/comfort fluff fic featuring Murky and Daniil bonding over both being autistic. It's probably the only fic I've written fic I've written that has a definitively happy ending, as in there's no room for darker speculation for the future or anything like that.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Thankfully no. If anyone out there doesn't like my fics they've done good not to harass me about it.
9. Do you write smut? If so, which kind?
No.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest crossover you’ve ever written?
The only crossovers I've written thus far both involve the game Knock-Knock; either the Lodger interacting with Thomas Smith from Neverending Nightmares or Daniil Dankovsky from Pathologic.
The latter comes from the fic Intruder, which I'm most proud of of all the crossovers I've done so far, yet I'm kinda surprised no one else has attempted this themselves or entertained the idea of my fic since Knock-Knock was what inspired Pathologic: The Marble Nest to begin with. I guess it's true that there are only 12 Western Knock-Knock fans left on the internet...
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Also thankful this hasn't happened yet.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No, but if anyone wants to please let me know. I'd be more than happy for my stories to cross language barriers!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
One time my fellow Hylics fic veteran bombcollar wrote a story called Dedusmuln's Dossier, which is all about Dedusmuln documenting all of the enemies in Hylics 2, and which I contributed two pieces of writing for The Hand of Moodbleen and Carassius! It's an awesome fic I recommend any Hylics fan check out, and I had some good fun thinking of what I wanted them to say about these two uniquely annoying enemies.
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
Goddammit I don't fucking know lmao. I don't take shipping as seriously as other people do. For now I'll say Burakhovsky for all the beautiful art I've seen for it, the Hylics crew being in a queerplatonic polycule and, just to throw an insane curve ball at everyone in the room, Siegmeyer/Domhnall ;-)
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I'm gonna finish 'em all one day. I will not leave my children to rot in the pits of Writer's Block Hell...
16. What are your writing strengths?
I've been told by many people that they tend to really love the way I write dialogue for each of the characters I work with, original or already created. I'm also a lover of environmental descriptions and am always trying to build upon and improve in that aspect into my works.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Probably fight scenes since I've had so little practice, and due to a lot of the books I read not really having that many. I'm hoping To The Accursed can help me improve on that front, since Dark Souls is so heavily combat-oriented.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I haven't gone farther than using singular words in other languages as of right now. That's something I'm definitely gonna need to step up on later down the line, particularly since there will be Dark Souls characters I'll be writing soon who will be speaking some sentences in Latin and Welsh respectively.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
The Swedish metal band Ghost! It was a story called For A Divine Cause which was about Papa Emeritus Primo realizing he suffers stage fright right before he's supposed to start touring for the first album, and thus summons his younger brother Terzo to help shape him up into being a good front man.
It's without question the worst of my fics from a writing and technical perspective, but it was the first one I ever wrote so that's kinda to be expected. I am pleasantly surprised it has so many kudos and bookmarks after all these years!
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
Honestly, I'm think I'm gonna have to make it a tie between Dedusmuln Uncharted and Chaos Inverted.
The first is the fic where I truly started getting more creative in my writing (and is my first full made podfic which I'm even more proud of!), while the latter was sooooo much fun to write and gave me the confidence to write novellas. The Hylics fandom has been so supportive of my work, and I thank you all for being the best fandom experience I've ever had <3

I always reply to comments unless they're the rare dickish one (I delete those, that's always fun). I reply to everything to thank people for interacting in the first place. I like it when I get a reply from authors, too. I'm very grateful.
What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I think it was one with Shieldshock and hacking, post-Infinity War, so everyone was dusted except for Steve and Darcy. It was kind of Schrödinger's ending because it might have been happy? I left it open (and I won't ever tell the 'real' ending).
What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Most of mine do. I can't help it. Especially since the 'happy ending' tends to be because of sex. I mean...
Do you get hate on fics?
A couple times but it was really insignificant and swiftly deleted.
Do you write smut? If so, what kinds?
I write it all. Kinktober was kind of my 'thing' for a few years, as in, some followers looked forward to it each October. I rarely don't have some form of smut in a fic. The filth is fun, and so is the intimate erotica type of stuff. The fluff is great, but I have actually written one that had no response whatsoever and I think it went a little too far for my regular readers.
Do you write crossovers?
I think some of my Darcy fic count so I'm going to say yes. I've written her with most Chris Evans characters, like Ransom Drysdale to name one. It counts, right?
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Yes and it's still up lol
Have you ever had a fic translated?
I've had a couple translated into Russian but can't recall which, it's been a few years.
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I had someone ask me to ghostwrite their fic ending and then when they weren't happy with what I'd written they said 'no thanks' and haven't spoken to me since, does that count?
What’s your all time favorite ship?
I will never be able to decide this, sorry. It's been years and I can never pinpoint it. Literally hundreds of thousands of words written over the three particular ships I'm thinking of and there's no way. There's just no way.
What’s a WIP that you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
The Americans. It's been nearly 2 years since I updated and I think it's been forgotten about anyway, so that's me off the hook.
What are your writing strengths?
I can't answer that. I have no idea.

My pacing is the worst. I repeat myself. I don't think I'm consistent in any way. I get impatient and hardly edit sometimes, which bites me in the ass later. I am bad at a lot of things.

I've done it and it's fine. It's my average high school level French, but it's passable. Literally I passed high school French.

🖊️ New Things I Tried 🖊️
Started off the year strong with posting alien smut for the first time in Haunted by One Another! Inquisitor/Nizana have been an OTP of mine within different Star Wars RP groups for a hot minute (like, literal years a hot minute) so it was about time I actually got to writing about them and their dynamic.
And of course I started with smut because I’m a simple being at the end of the day, but also because they have a very base relationship that starts out as just Enemies With ‘Bennies. They’re kinda sorta real toxic, but I like to think even their smut speaks a lot for their dynamic and I had a lot of fun writing it. 💖
🖊️ Fic I Spent the Most Time On 🖊️
Its Dueteragony.
You know its Dueteragony, I know its Dueteragony, we can all go home now.
But, seriously, everyone here knows Dueteragony is my baby, and even though I didn’t get to work on it this year as much as I did last year, I think the overall quality of the writing was significantly higher. I may not have put out as much but I really think I’ve grown as a writer and I’m really happy about that. I’m still learning a lot and that’s really exciting!

Its a pretty short piece, but Within you lies the Best of Us is definitely up there. There were moments in basically everything I wrote that made me super happy this year, but being able to gleefully wait for your friend to realize that your friend has received a gift fic HITS DIFFERENT.

ALRIGHTY, SO...
• Get Dueteragony mostly finished (I really want a good chunk of that bad boy done prior to Dreadwolf, if all of it. Though, I do accept that parts of the last fifth of the story may have to be tweaked depending on the events of Dreadwolf. I HAVE PLANS, I HAVE CHARTS, I HAVE SO MANY SPREADSHEETS.)
• Write a sequel to Haunted by One Another. I really want to post more of the Inquisitor and Nizana’s relationship, how they went from Enemies to Lovers, and also just... write more fun smut between those two losers. I’m currently working on a direct sequel, but I also want to do a prequel, and maybe some oneshots. I’ll most likely end up making a little series grouping for them and shove them all in there for ease of organization rigiuerbgierb

This was a ton of fun and a really interesting way to look at all the things I’ve done this year. ^_^ It’ll really be fun to see what next year brings as well!! :D

37. Promote one of your own “deep cut” fics (an underrated one, or one that never got as much traction as you think it deserves!). What do you like about it?
oh this is an interesting question... maybe pecking order? it might be because it's the third fic in the series, or because guardiancest shippers are few and far between these days, or maybe even the vomiting tag lmao but for some reason it does not have nearly as much traction as the previous two fics, which is a shame, because i love it dearly! david going kind of completely unhinged as he tries to deal with any new feelings he may or may not be having... bro dealing with that the best way he knows how (not backing down At All)...
alternatively each heart touched but that's just my plug for everyone to go try cultist simulator, actually, i fuckin love that game. it's confusing and weird but it's FLAVORFUL and honestly that's all i want.
39. Is any aspect of your writing process inspired by other writers or people? If so, who?
OH YES. i see you, you little scamp, because now i am morally obligated to concede that my characterization of MANY characters is informed by the great fanfic writers that came before. you, for instance!! and geometrician's dualshock desertbloom is very informative of my bro characterization.
i am not super sure some of the other blogs i draw inspo from would appreciate the shout out so i'll keep that to myself, but know this: if you have written strilonde fanfiction or we have ever spoken in depth about the characters, i have probably drawn some measure of inspiration from your fics or the things we talked about, because that's how the creative spirit works!
i think that a lot of fandom in general is also often built upon the backs of old concepts and fanon. some of that has gotten torn down over time, like... god, specifically all i can think of is dave rn. like common fanon used to be that he was literally too cool for school and now it's generally accepted that actually that was a massive front and How Did Anyone Buy Into That. i think that maybe some of us have flipped a little too hard in the opposite direction and made dave like. Soft Baby-fied? but i feel that's also a very fandom thing to have happen lmao. oh to woobify your faves for fun and profit. no harm in it but i do think it's very interesting!
41. Link a fic that made you think, "Wow, I want to write like that."
you know i think the most recent experience i had like that is with your words destroyed my planet, explicitly because i want to be able to plot out and execute longfic like this person can. it's a cool fic!
42. Have you ever received a comment that particularly stood out to you for whatever reason?
i've gotten a few comments that have stuck with me! the one you sent me on discord made me CRY (in a good way no worries) but if we're talking purely public on ao3...
there was one comment interrogating the like. NATURE of david in my demonstuck series and how i explained it in the fic that was honestly SO interested and gave me a lot to think about.
also someone told me one of my fics made them jizz instantly or something like that which was SO FUNNY to me as an ace person who does not really write or read smut to be horny about it most of the time. why do i? i dont know. it's Interesting, i guess??? like yes!!! CHARACTERS!! smushing our barbie dolls together!!! YES!!! i am EMOTIONALLY TITILLATED

✿ BEST EXPERIENCE I think my best experience was in a multifandom chatroom I frequented with my friends in high school. it was just! crossovers galore, and it somehow just made sense. it was so wild and fun! ah I miss the simplicity of it. there was just. not a care in the world about all the little details back then.
✿ RP PET PEEVES/DEALBREAKERS posts that go untrimmed kind of annoy me, but I wouldn’t call it a dealbreaker. promoting drama and / or posting a lot of negativity and shitpost-y content to the point where it’s the only thing on my dashboard kind of is, though. o(-( I don’t mind it once in a while, but when it’s the only thing? dsfkhdf none for me, thanks. ✿ FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT I enjoy all three in no particular order! it really depends on what I’m in the mood for at any given time. I’m always So Soft for fluff; it’s easily my favorite thing to write. but I’ve been kind of on an angst kick lately, and I won’t lie, I’m always down and in the mood for spice LMAO.
✿ PLOTS OR MEMES I like a mixture of the two, tbh. memes are such a nice way to break the ice and explore new scenarios and concepts, but when I don’t have a direction or goal for a thread or a dynamic between two characters, I,,,tend to lose inspo Very Fast aaaa;;;
✿ LONG OR SHORT REPLIES I much prefer to start short and transition to longer replies if / when the inspiration strikes dkfjhsd a lot of people can set up a scene right out the gate, but I’m the opposite where I gotta start with a vague idea and feel it out / build it as I go DSFHSD IT’S WEIRD I KNOW I’M SORRY.
