First battle Wound of the day 😔🥺I have no idea what else I can do. It was over the light switches, I wanted lights on so I could see. He wanted them off. I tried to get him to show me what he wanted them off for but since he is non speaking it is hard. This is part of my life and many other’s lives, we get beat up. We get kicked and bruised. We get bit, and now imagine you are a teacher and you get paid less than someone at McDonald’s to do this job with up to 10 other kids or more and one para: you can see why they are quitting in mass. I am his parent but they are not. And sometimes this outburst goes to other kids. It’s sucks but for a lot of us this is our reality . I am homeschooling again because of things like this and also he isn’t learning in a regular school. MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK #iReadBookTours Mickey on the Move: Farming is about a little boy who loves helping his mom on the farm with the animals, but one thing about Mickey is that he is deaf in both ears. I was excited to read and review the first book about Micky and his Cochlear implants that helps him hear, and this second book is just as exciting. Before Micky couldn’t go outside with his Cochlear implants because he couldn’t get them wet, but now he has the new Aqua Cochlear implants that allow Mickey to go outside and enjoy the sounds, and he didn’t have to worry about getting them wet. I so much enjoyed this book. I fell in love with this sweet little boy in the first book, and I love him in this new one. And these Mickey books are about a real little boy. It is fun and interesting to read about the Cochlear implants that help Mickey hear the sounds he wouldn’t hear without them. Jenny Phelps does an amazing job bring this story to life with the vibrant and beautiful illustrations that fit the words so well on each page. I love the book cover with the same illustrations as well. This is a special little book that would fit well in any elementary school library as well as any daycare. It would be a fabulous read to help children understand these implants if they are around someone who has them. I love that this story shows how a child living with these Aqua Cochlear implants can enjoy life just as other children do. I encourage parents to pick up this book for your children as well. Hi my name is Marrisa and some people call me Mar.

I am a wife, working momma of 3 kiddos and am passionate about my relationship with Christ.

I have been married 7 years to my husband and we are not perfect by any means or have the perfect marriage. However it is a process, it is a life journey we choose to live together. We have been through some things that we never that we would but in the end we are both there for each other working our way through life.

My eldest daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when she was 7, she’s now 14. It has been a world wind for sure managing life with a T1D doing through life’s changes and helping her figure it out on her own. She also struggles with ADHD (it’s the only diagnosis they will give her). I am starting so see some positive changes this year in her and excited to see her grow.

My son was just diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, so we have had quite a few doctors appointments lately and that will probably continue for a while. Our goal is to keep him independently active as long as possible. He’s a smart, funny, caring, little man.

My baby is 3 and I love watching her grow every day! She just got glasses and is just the cutest thing! She is smart and will talk your ear off.

I love supporting others and showing them what they are capable of doing. I was raised around strong women and have tried to be the same and raise the same. I am a listener and watcher this is how I learn about others. Once I’m comfortable around you watch out, the Fbombs come a flying and I’ll probably tell you too much information at times.
