My issue with my disability is the burn out. Even when I wake up refreshed I’m like a Firework explosive (notice my outfit is on point worked hard getting dressed) literally it’s work to dress myself these days. I’m 29 and can’t do my own buttons talk about bruising your ego. I’m not alone though. I have at least a few other friends who suffer and endure major physical disabilities and our ages are: 29, 28, 25, 30, 30, 31, 36. In skating my mother would tell me “You’re alright you just have to push through” when I fell. That that failed jump only 2 points on the docket and the judge may have sneezed 🤧 and If I got up quick enough maybe they wouldn’t have noticed (like how I couldn’t catch my dolls being alive). Since then I have strived to Get up as quickly and safely as I can to continue on with the Program. These are life lessons I remember now when my body fails me for no reason... I’m O.K.
