Mouth-breathers will hurl themselves from high places and swim with deadly creatures for fun–evidence of their underdeveloped brains, I suspect–and they treat dolphins like whimsical pets instead of the violent, unstable perverts they are. The first time I strayed close enough to shore to get a good look, I did so under the assumption that a creature that would try to feed hungry Delphinidae with their bare hands wouldn’t be smart enough to notice anything strange in the water. That was a mistake. I’ve figured out why mouth-breathers are always sticking their fingers out at things that want to kill them; it’s because they have a pseudo-suicidal, species-wide instinctual drive to pet everything that will hold still long enough. I was lucky that time. It was only a pup.
