A quick doodle of Tigerclaw! (Though I use the term quick loosely as this took about ehhhh, I think almost two hours lol)

I used the SSS version of Tigerclaw since that's the best design if you asked me :D

Also I noticed that the construction lines I used look like blood/scratch marks, which was not intentional at all! So don't worry it's not blood, but if enough people tell me I'll add a warning to this!

Felt like stitching together the mural seen in the credits of Episode 2 part 3 of SSS Warrior Cats. I don’t know if the artist of this mural ever uploaded it to Deviant Art or else where, I just think this mural perfectly illustrates the design philosophy behind SSS Warrior Cats. I like how simple the main three cats are along with the exaggerated looks of LionHeart, TigerClaw, and YellowFang. (Atleast I think that’s YellowFang)

A lot of this was because of the crossing with anime at the time, as it was still niche in america. For an anime adaption of the characters, these fit well.

this is such a challenge ouughughug so many i like. im really fond of graystripe's pretty eyelashes.... oakheart's design is also really really good and lionheart's shape language is SO SO GOOOODDD.... but i think my favorites have to be bluestar, longtail, and tigerclaw's X3 !! also, sorta cheating, but smudge might actually be my favorite solely because HIS VOICE !!!!! i love the voice they gave him its so endearing i love him so much TToTT <333

WindClan / ThunderClan kinda share a spot for me because i honestly go back and forth on how much i like them, but theyre definitely my least favorites of the entire set ^^; thunderclan just because my looord weve spent so much time in there. and windclan because. as much as i adore some of the characters that have come out of it, i hate so many of the windclan characters im ngl ALFSDIUFHDSUIF windclan characters are hit or miss for me

Everyone keeps saying Longtail is beige because of this ss warrior cats thing but I've never even heard of whatever that is and I've always imagined him that colour long before ever interacting with the fandom. That's just Longtail's vibes.

Back before MAPs were a thing there really wasn’t a lot of animated warriors content on YouTube, the most popular warriors content was “spoofs”, AMVs by and handful of individual people (no collabing unlike MAPs), and SSS Warrior Cats - an ambitious project which aimed to animate all of the first arc of warrior cats I believe, but after several years they only got as far as Tigerclaw killing Redtail - but the episodes are fairly long for fan animated content (about 10 minutes each) and they’re fully animated and voice acted. SSS Warrior Cats was really a staple of the early fandom and it is regarded extremely fondly by people like me who watched it at the time they were still releasing.

But yeah that’s fair - before I watched SSS warrior cats I think I still saw him as brown? It was so long ago now so I could be wrong lol

7. realistic or sparkle designs for roleplay?

I haven't roleplayed in ages, but I'm a realistic* person, myself. I'm not super worried about being 100% genetically accurate but I do like things being kinda true to form. That being said, sparkle designs are cool and fun and I definitely have some, but they kinda belong "with the other" sparkle designs in my opinion. If everyone is using sparkle designs then yeah go for it lol live ur life

also another ask cus i got warriors designs on my brain, what’s your fav tigerstar design? if so could u link it?! warrior cats designs make me go insane i love when people make up their own hcs for designs. it makes me quite happy

i really enjoy the russian tigerclaw design from i think tigerclaw's fury! the art in general is p cool imo, reminds me of older traditional furry art, but i enjoy how he looks there. i also like the poland tigerclaw design by anna podedworna. never watched sss warrior cats but i like his design there too!! amelia b's tigerclaw design rocks! and roakkaliha's designs fuck!! their art is really yummy too

it's kinda telling based on the ones i listed lol but overall i really enjoy depictions where he's very large, hairy and scarred! what also gets me is when people give him similar aspects to a tiger particularly with the placements of the markings/stripes. this makes me realize i've never drawn him before i need to make my own design
