A Regressors Age Guide

1 Year edition! (Baby baby)

Traits and Behaviors

These teeny babies are often dependent on their cgs as they may struggle with getting things done on their own.

-They may crawl and roll instead of walking

-They may be non or semi-verbal

-Often very sensitive to tone

-At this stage, these babies may prefer to cuddle up to their cg and have a nice nap

-They may enjoy reaction games like peek-a-boo instead of bigger kid activities like climbing trees and playing video games

-These little ones may enjoy being coo'd at and sung to as it can be hard for them to contribute much to a verbal conversation

-They may cry to communicate instead of using words

-These babies may find it hard to see what's wrong with them (They may be hungry, thirsty, tired, they may need a diapy change)

-These tiny babies may need diapies or reminded to go use the potty

-They may need help doing most tasks, feeding themselves, picking out clothes, showers or baths, most things biological babies would need help with, these tinies will need help with

Paying Attention to Your Baby's Non-verbal Ques

You need to make sure that when your baby is regressed to such a dependent age like this that you're paying attention to their non-verbal ques. If their body language indicates that they're uncomfortable then take that as a sign.

Take notice of your baby's schedule, that may be easier to tell what they need. If it's their lunch time and they're expressing discomfort, they may be hungry. If it's close to bedtime and they're a bit fussy, maybe it's time to get them ready for bed.

Another thing to take notice of is their body language, if they're rubbing their eyes then they may be tired and need a nap, if their tummy is growling, they may need to use the potty or they may be hungry.

If in doubt, asking your baby yes or no questions could help a lot and all they need to do is nod or shake their head.

Diapies

Some babies in this age range may wear dipies! It's So important that you as their caregiver know how to diaper safely (if you do their diapy Changes)

Always communicate with your tiny! Tell them what you're doing and ask if they're okay with it

Ex: "You need a diapy change, sweet baby, do you want me to change you or do you want to do it yourself?"

"You need a diapy change, little one, is it okay if I change your diapy?"

And make sure your tiny is comfortable during their diapy change, make sure they have their favorite paci and stuffie and make sure to have a blankie on hang in case they get uncomfortable or cold!

Make sure you're changing frequently if they're using their diapies and make sure you're using baby powders and barrier creams to stay safe

Activities and Fun Things to do With Your Baby

So you may be finding it harder to find some fun activities to do with a baby so young but I'm here to help!

Sensory play is always great fun to a baby this age, babies are super curious and always looking for something to keep their attention so playing with toys together like rattles, fluffy toys, toys that make noise can be great stimulation for your baby's mind and it can also help them maintain their regressed state better. Playing games together like match making games is always good. Reaction games are also great for Regressors this age as well like peek-a-boo and patty cake

Bath time is always great fun and binding time for any regression age, having these little ones splash and play in some shallow bath water is so fun, make sure to put some bubbles in the bath for your baby to enjoy

A great way to get in some quality time is watching a movie together too! Bright colors and the voices from the characters from a movie of your choosing is a great way to keep your little one entertained.

Food

Usually baby regressors want soft foods! So foods like mashed potatoes, oatmeal, grits and yogurt, soft foods like that can be great for baby regressors cause they don't have to chew or think super hard about what they want to eat. Another thing you can do is blend up some of your favorite fruits and add some yogurt into the mixture to make sure your blend is nice and smooth. Bananas and steamed vegetables are also great because they can be soft and easy for your little one to eat!

Shows Movies and More!

Some great shows are shows aimed towards a younger crowd

You can find some great shows for younger kids on sites like Nick Jr, Disney Jr, and pbs kids!

Personally, I like shows like Octonauts, Gabby's doll house, baby einstein and Thomas the tank engine

Some movies I like to watch are actually Disney movies when I regress to an age so so tiny! I like Winnie the pooh, I like toy story and Cars but I also have been trying to lean away from Disney recently due to their political stances and I've found some great movies on Netflix Instead!

Know Your Baby!

Know your baby before they regress around you, ask them what they like to do and like to watch well Before they end up being so itty bitty with you! I know it's tough to have the awkward conversations but it's so important to know how your baby expresses themself Before you're in a situation where you don't know what to do. Each and every regressor has a different experience regressing so I may love something while someone else may not.

Hello, pumpkins! This is the second post in a thread of posts I'm making! You can find the first post here, I accidentally posted it to my alt account but the rest of the posts will be posted on this page. I also want to preface this by saying that not everything I'm saying here is going to apply to everyone and each and every person who regresses or dreams will follow these traits and stuff!

Okay, now to the post!

Traits and Behaviors!

☠︎︎This is about the time that babies start to get up and play around, small jumps, walking, bouncing and maybe even some small sprints

☠︎︎Babies this age are starting to like playing with other babies and parallel play could be really fun at this age, they may have trouble sharing though so make sure to have enough eye grabbing toys for all the babies

☠︎︎This is also the age where babies may start to throw more tantrums and have bigger feeling, they naturally want to test the boundaries at this age and they don't like being told no. They're also going to be a bit more bossy and want their way.

☠︎︎Since this is the time they're starting to have bigger mood swings and test the boundaries, that may result in having big reactions which may be aggressive, they may hit, yell, throw tantrums or even hurt themselves to try and cope with their big emotions

☠︎︎They may mostly use hand gestures but they're starting to babble a lot more and mimic language

Activities to do With Your Baby

☠︎︎This is a great age to play a lot of simple puzzle games and games to practice motor skills, patty cake is a great game to play with your baby and so is playing with toys like stacking blocks and ring-stack toys

☠︎︎Pretend play, these babies are growing up fast! They want to be just like cg. Playing dolls and stuffed animals, putting them to bed and feeding them is a great way to spend time with your baby

☠︎︎This is a great time for parallel play, though babies won't always feel interested or know how to play together, they still love to interact with each other and play together to some degree and parallel play is a great fun for babies this age

☠︎︎New textures and sounds are extremely interesting to babies in their two's! Playing with new textures like sand, slime, dirt and more can be super fun for these babies!

Foods and Recipes

These tinies are starting their food journey, they're starting to upgrade from baby foods and apple sauce to solid fruits and hard cereals!

This is one of those things that's very individualized to each regressor! I can tell you what this age range usually likes to snack on but you should ask your tiny what they like either way.

Babies in their two's are starting their palate expanding journey, usually it's best to stay away from super strong flavors and stick to mild and bland flavors. Younger taste buds are much stronger than adult taste buds so when your regressor was a bio baby, they most-likely had blander foods so giving them some mild and bland snacks can be a comforting factor t their baby space

Shows and Movies

Again, this is one of those things that are super individualized to each and every baby! So still be sure to ask your baby what they like to watch either way! Some shows and movies two-year-olds like to watch are

Potty Time for the Terrible Twos

Generally, kiddos are using the potty on their own anywhere from 1.5 - 3 years old but that doesn't mean that kiddos older or younger may deviate from that. There's good info Here about how to properly diaper someone and what products to use

This is also a great video on how to diaper yourself if you're a baby who does their own diapy changes.

Know Your Baby

You're going to want to know and talk to your regressor before they regress with you! The only way you'll be happy with each other is talking about boundaries and the best way to cat or to each other's needs beforehand. Having the awkward conversations are hard but necessary

Wieght gain tip number 2: what should i eat 🤷‍♀️

Now that we talked about the best nutritional intakes to gain weight, both healthy and unhealthy, next next question to ask yourself is: what do I eat?

Now, let's start with you unhealthy piggies first. Good news for yall! You get to have all the fatty and delicious food you want 😋. Now, what is a good meal plan that will last you a week and won't hurt your wallet 🤔

Well any American knows the magnificent super store called Walmart 😌. Now what if I told you this bad boy can get you so fucking fat with only 40-50$ a week?

At 35-50$ a week: you can get around 3k calories per day for 1 whole week

Let's get the fun stuff out of the way. For your morning snack should be light compared to your afternoon snack, I recommend getting fritters. You can scarf down 720 calories with 2 fritters. A whole box of 6 fritters is merely 4 dollars, sooooo you should pick up 1-2 boxes. Your breakfast should be your lightest of your meals. If you want to go the extra mile and be lazy, I highly recommend Jimmy Dean Sausage, Egg & Cheese Croissant Sandwiches, each sandwich is 400 calories and one box has 4 sandwiches in it, so once more get 1-2 boxes for the week at this point you've spent between $10-$20 and eaten around 700-1.2k calories so far. It's not bad for a start, but im sure that tummy is still very hungry 😋. So let's move on to some lunch, and I know just the meal that will fill that gut! Starting off with your sides, you should pick up some Great Value Seasoned French Fries. 11 servings per bag with 140 calories per serving and only $3.75. As always, I recommend getting 1-2 bags like usual, of course, the more the merrier 😁. For your main meal, I recommend eating some nice and healthy American made burgers 😋, so grab some patties (recommend 20% fat 80% lean). The All Natural brand sells 12 patties per pack at $10! And if course you can eat a burger without buns, sooooo let's grab some big carb filled buns 😌. Great Value Jumbo Hamburger Buns should be the cheapest and most carb heavy buns you can get at only $2 (although you have to pick up 2 for all 12 patties). So let's have the final snack before bedtime, I think something light like walmart's famous Freshness Guaranteed Frosted Sugar Cookies should do, hehe 😉

In total, this should set you around 2.7-3k calories worth of food, which is more than enough to fatten up anyone under 200lbs

I feel like I get some variation on this ask every month or two, which is delightful, since it gives me a chance to remind myself of my plans for the wolfverse and keep it all fresh in my mind. Currently among the six (6!) scrivener documents I have open on my poor old bedraggled writing laptop are two different installments of wolfverse: the interconnected stories of the two elder Hughes brothers (Quinn/Brady and Jack/Nico, featuring ace!Quinn which I'm SO excited for). After I finish my current commissions, it's a bit of a tossup whether I dive into those or the Trevor sequel to the Jack/Nico D/s story, since I'm super excited to write all of them. I'm also planning on:

Trevor/Jamie (gotta fix that trade)

TK/Patty (omg so overdue, and probably needs to happen before Trevor/Jamie)

Cole/Nick?? idk, I've made him and Jack and Trevor all omegas on the USNTDP together, so it seems unfair if he doesn't get a story 😆

And then there are some throwbacks which I might write or which might just get folded into the other stories where there's team overlap:

PK/Carey -- I already made Carey a wolf in one of the Bennguin stories I think, so I'll need to decide what's going on with him and Carey before I write Jack/Nico

Claude/Danny -- Ditto with Claude and the TK/Patty story

Eric Staal/Jeff Skinner -- I was more excited about this one back when it looked like they'd be on the Sabres together for a while and before Eric was a jerk about Pride jerseys, but hey, still fun to make him a gay wolf!

I've also had asks about Lardunn and Roope/Wyatt, who I could see being included down the line, and Caroline Ouellette and Julie Chu have been on my list for ages (it would be so fun to explore what it means to be a female alpha). So as you can see, no plans to wrap up this 'verse anytime soon. 😄

Sorry I kept on asking about Michael you've ran out of facts... I just really like your version of him I'm sorry.... Then can we hear about Elizabeth?

you’re all good! I’m still writing stuff for him and coming up with new stuff. I’d love to talk about Elizabeth. She’s one of the characters I still need to flesh out quite a bit, so this’ll be fun!

Something that will always be canon to me is that Elizabeth was a daddy’s girl. Makes her story more interesting I think. Finding out about all the shit William did was hard for Michael, who never really had the best relationship with his father. So imagine Elizabeth, who loved her dad more than anyone in the world, getting locked up and tortured in HIS murder basement. Even after all of that, she still loved him even though she didn’t want to.

Elizabeth LOOKED like her mother tho. She looked like a miniature version of Patty, in the same way that Michael looked like a miniature version of William.

Elizabeth was a very rough player as a kid. She was very prone to getting hurt, and she always had a bandage somewhere on her body. She constantly broke her toys and roughhoused with her brothers a lot. Being the 80’s, it was really hard to get her into a sports team. She did ballet for a while, but she got kicked out for being too rough and competitive. William and Patty eventually got her into little league baseball, and she loved it. She was also REALLY good at it too. She did get in trouble once because a boy on the team said that girls couldn’t play baseball, and she bit him.

She wasn't necessarily masculine tho. Elizabeth actually really liked pink and skirts and dolls (she def had a lot of Weird Barbies).

She was also very close with Charlie. while she loved rough housing and playing baseball with Michael, it was also good to have someone to talk about "girl stuff" with. Henry and William often worked late into the night in the Aftons' garage, so Charlie would have 'sleepovers' with Michael and Elizabeth a lot. Charlie was friends with both of them, so she would alternate who she hung out with. One she would talk mechanics with Mike, and another she would play dress up with Liz. On particularly good nights in the summers, they would all hang out together in the living room and trade baseball cards, watch movies, and have pillow fights.

Elizabeth was actually Williams favorite. The Afton's in RtH are based around the typical narcissistic family unit, with Michael as the scapegoat child, Elizabeth as the golden child, and Evan as the lost child. Elizabeth was not super heavily favored, William loved all of his children, but Elizabeth was the one who acted the most like him. She was rebellious, yes. But she wasn't rebellious to William, at least most of the time. In fact, he often was the one encouraging her behavior (but this led to a lot of issues, both before and after her death).

and yes, i acknowledge there are problematic implications with the narcissistic family unit, and that it is much more complicated than the very watered down explanation i gave. I have both witnessed and lived some of those complications. The Afton's themselves have much more complicated dynamics, but this was a simple starting point that worked with a lot of William's untreated issues. i didnt want to get into that too much because this post is about Elizabeth, and I will elaborate more on William and the Afton family as a whole when i am writing about them.

That's it for now, but I would be happy to talk more about Elizabeth and her relationships with her brothers and parents, both before and after each of their deaths.

this was my first act as a hockey fan it has such a special place in my heart.... i thought about it while i was in class and sorted everyone into categories Definitively. thank you for making me do this. of course some of the things i have these guys do you Shouldnt Do on a golf course, and like this is Super unrealistic but i love having my fun ok…. just Good Vibes… (also, im generalizing “clubhouse” as both people who work as servers at the course’s restaurant and the people who help golfers with carts/clubs/etc and all that. i did Not work there At All so it just makes it easier for me to loop them…. imagine they just like rotate around or something….)

OK… so…. starting with the two who started it all, mitch and auston.

i dont ever think i ever totally explained what mitch and auston's roles were besides surface level stuff so!! mitch is a member of the turf team at the golf course, which are basically the group of people who go around and cut the grass and do the landscaping and all of that. like ice crew, but just for the golf course.

auston is like. i don't know. some sort of moderately rich guy. maybe he's Auston Matthews or maybe he's just rich, i have no clue. all that matters is he golfs. maybe he's a professional golfer. of course, i imagine everything in this au as happening at my course, but tbh it works at any course...

(now, of course, one of mitch's friends works at the clubhouse, and tells mitch every time auston is sitting there looking for him... willy nylander youre a real one)

just imagine mitch driving around a work truck with a rake, a bucket of sand, and a leaf blower in the back and auston (dressed prim, and proper, white pants white shoes white hat purple shirt all nice) literally falling all over himself to talk to him. loitering all over just Hoping that Maybe mitch will drive by and he can rope him into conversation. meanwhile when mitch sees willy he’s like “yeah auston’s so cute but like idk if he’d ever go for me” and willy is like “yeah you have no fucking idea”

i used to have to do this task which was just. watering all of the flowers near the clubhouse and i can imagine mitch doing that and like surroptitiously glancing over his shoulder to check if auston is around or watching or something… just some good old fluffy pining yk…

i have a like Whole Ass procreate file w everyone sorted into lil groups so here’s some little tidbits …

i think i mightve talked abt this in another post but sid (crosby) and claude (giroux) both work for turf and are both Incredibly Competitive about it in the most insane way ever… im talking “you take half the course i take half the course and we see who finishes faster” (starting at 6am ish) mowing competitions and theyre both done at 8 on the dot…. insane people shit…. they did it with bunkers ONCE and claude tripped and fell into a bunker and broke his wrists so they do not do that anymore o7….

the thing to know about guys who are higher up on the turf echelon is that not only do they all know each other but they also went to school for it… turf school…. all this to say top grad of turf school Sidney Crosby got some little ducklings and thats how Connor McDavid (top turf school grad) got to this course…. we love that for him

connor mcdavid, who keeps getting his work paused by these three golfers, which always makes him grit his teeth and smile softly at them, because Holy Shit Let Me Get Back To My Job Please. matthew tkachuk (son of Great Golfer Keith Tkachuk) seems to take joy in interrupting connor while he’s in the middle of something, jack eichel always catches him bent over and sweaty trying to shove the wheels back onto a greens mower for one of the kids, and leon draisaitl stands on the side to wait until connor’s at least done a pass to ask him something. matthew jack and leon can be seen at the clubhouse after they finish a round, head in hands, because connor is oblivious to their flirting. maybe they should try learning the names of different types of grass.

jamie drysdale (uni student staying with his grandparents over the summer) always comes to the clubhouse for breakfast with them, which absolutely delights bored server trevor zegras… too bad the summer has to end some time! lol! anyway

tyler bertuzzi (turf) seems to always have dirt under his fingernails, some mulch and woodchips stuck to his shorts, scuffs on his knees, and a dirty ass sweater on. dylan larkin (clubhouse) finds him INCREDIBLY endearing.

brady tkachuk (son of Great Golfer Keith Tkachuk) when he’s not driving his brother around so he can try and find connor (“seriously, matthew, he looks busy” “no, it’ll be fine, look—”) is smiling sweetly at the fumbling german waiter who always engages leon in rapidfire german conversation. tim, his nametag says, and brady would love to have more than a few word conversation with him. maybe he should interrupt leon’s brooding time with matthew and jack and ask him to teach him some german.

if you want to communicate with the turf team’s mechanic and don’t want to be asked “where sid? tell him—” you should bring sid with you to see him. however, if you do bring sid, you will have to watch him and said mechanic do Weird Flirting for a good 30 mins before your question is answered. this is outside of the Weird Flirting they do anyway, all the time. if a day goes by without sid twirling his hair kicking his feet over some shit geno said to him earlier in the day has the day really gone by?

followup turf/clubhouse Flirting (I CANT BELIEVE I ALMOST FORGOT TO MENTION THEM IYKYK) tyler seguin, Pretty Boy Galore, and his loud, bubbly, and all consuming obsession with quiet doe-eyed turf worker jamie benn. now thats what i call oblivious. “yeah i flirt with jamie all the time but he just thinks its a joke haha he couldnt want me i know that like have you seen him?” “yeah tyler flirts with me but he’s just joking he doesn’t mean that he could never like me like that have you seen him?” and all that good good shit… tyler sees jamie take off his shirt once because it got soaked and loses his mind.

jack hughes (brother of turf guys luke and quinn) absolutely has the biggest crush on his coworker, fellow clubhouse worker nico hischier. once nico got wet in the rain and soaked through his white work shirt and jack almost lost his fucking mind. absolutely twirling his hair kicking his feet.

both pairs of bruins that i like (bergeron/marchand and swayman/ullmark) are fun little golf tandems. me when i get a hole in one and hug and twirl around a kiss my golf partner. what if we kissed in the front seat of a golf cart. and all that.

finally… honourable mention to john tavares (golfer, has his own labelled golf cart at a course in toronto… love that for you king….) kris letang (turf) and marc-andré fleury (clubhouse) who get to listen to sid moan and groan about geno, and self jarvis (turf) who is completely out of place among the other teams included in this au but i love him so hes here lmfaoo

anyway. yeah. i have LOTS of ideas about this au if you couldnt tell and anon i am SO happy you asked abt it… sorry it took me a few days i have to write like most days for school this semester and its leaving me Very Little time to do anything but reblog posts and draw matty and woller. Let's all stop and take a moment to remember that this is a children's comic from the 50's. We don't think about it much these days because Peanuts is so thoroughly baked into the background radiation of American life but it really is kind of incredible to see topics like depression and existential dread discussed so bluntly in this format. Hell, even today you rarely see it.

Nov 11, 1950 A recurring pattern in Peanuts is characters entering the strip as either babies or very small children and then slowly aging up into roughly the same age cohort as the rest of the cast. It seems fitting that the first example of this is CB himself who starts off as kind of a little brother to the rest of the cast. You can really see this dynamic emphasized in this one.

Nov 13, 1950 Another staple of early Peanuts is kids doing kid versions of adult activities. Expect a lot of jokes like this.

Nov 15, 1950 Here's some more of that progressive attitude towards gender roles I mentioned earlier. It's kind of racist against dogs though tbh. Nov 29, 1950 Reinforcing negative stereotypes about women? Maybe. But I love how openly ruthless Patty is all the same.

Final Thoughts:

I really like the tone of these early years. If the later strips are a mediation on depression and failure these parts are a meditation on how human relationships are dysfunctional in a more general sense. The characters are still awful to each other, but they don't stew in their misery like they do in in the more contemporary strips and it makes these early bits so much more fun to read. Not that I dislike the later strips, mind you. But I feel like the comic lost something along the way as it evolved to tell more emotionally complex stories.

I guess what I'm saying is "Hollywood, please make the next Peanuts specials in this early style, TIA".

What the fuck is blue archive if you know. I got 3 friends trying to pull me into it. Game looks pretty but not a fan of it being literally schoolgirls.

If you're not a fan of that then you're really not going to like it, yeah.

I played it a few months as a side game, for reference:

It's an autobattler that's nnnnnot really fun or good in terms of gameplay and I'd say it's boring, to be frank. However, the main draw of Blue Archive is not its gameplay, it is in fact everything surrounding it, it's got production values up the wazoo, including stellar music, great graphics, excellent animations, crisp and smooth effects, and overall it's a truly gorgeous package and wrapping. Basically, BA doesn't really care about having gameplay worth talking about and instead focuses on everything else presentation-wise and when it comes to its cutscenes, bond cutscenes, Live2D animations for characters, and all that. I'm told that it has a solid plot but I've also been told gullible is written on the ceiling so I'm just relaying that info but I'm not putting my name behind it. From what I played, I can tell you it had fun writing in a wacky way (I still hold Aru and Problem Solver dear, they are Team Rocket, basically), but that's the extent of my praise for (and my knowledge of) its writing.

It is unapologetically catastrophically horny for school girls so if that's a no-no for you, then that's THE no-no for you and you should not even consider it, yeah. You'll hear "um there's teachers too", which is true in the same way that the cheap delicious sandwich you ate at that joint last week was totally not rat meat because it had 2% ground beef in the patty.

So if you're looking for a game with great presentation, worth a look, if you want a game with fun gameplay, ActRaiser for the SNES is right there and it's very easy to emulate, you can play as an angel in that one and it's real fun and ambitious for its time, also it's got a real Castlevania-ass vibe going on with its music, and if you want a game in which you don't go googoogaga over schoolgirls, then you already stopped reading a few paragraphs ago, because, again, BA's absolutely not the game for you, so I'll take the chance to say that maybe look for a guide for ActRaiser before starting for the builder sections but JUST to see what things do, try to figure things out yourself from there on, trust me, it's a fun game. Super Castlevania IV is also good tbh you could try that one too, it's challenging but REAL solid. Listen to ActRaiser Stage 1.

Robin sometimes got a bad rap for being scatterbrained or for rambling on incessantly. Both things were absolutely true, but she’s never gotten enough credit for how thoughtful and kind she is. Being her sister since you were six and she was five, you’d grown up seeing how she cares for those around her. You’d been the beneficiary of many of her acts of kindness, but you think she outdid herself this past Christmas. 

Ever since the Buckley’s adopted you, you’d wondered about where you came from. Not in the sense of wanting to know who your biological parents are, but of knowing your heritage. Growing up hearing people talk about traditions that had been passed down from ancestors who came to the melting pot that is America made you jealous. Sometimes you felt stupid for it, but you wanted to know what parts of the world you came from. 

On Christmas morning when you opened up a DNA kit that would reveal your ancestry and heritage, you’d teared up. Robin was watching you carefully, not wanting to miss the expression on your face; she knew she’d hit it out of the park with this gift. The way you tackled her into an enormous hug confirmed that thought. She’d helped you by reading the instructions to you as you spit in the tube and taping up the box when you were ready to send it back to the company. 

The long weeks between sending in your saliva and waiting for the results were tortuous. It was amusing, however, to listen to your friends make bets about what the results would be.

“You’re definitely mostly French,” Steve said.

“I’d put money on you being Greek,” Eddie said.

“Brazilian, for sure,” Nancy added. 

When you’d finally received your results back, there was a mixture of heritages on the paper, but one that dominated all of them. Irish. It made you grin, seeing the country’s name on the paper. You were from quite a few places around the world, but most of your family’s roots were in Ireland. Robin had expected the tears, no matter what the results were. Just the fact that now you knew made you emotional. 

Filled with an inner peace that you’d always longed for, you went on with your life, but your sister still had a surprise up her sleeve. 

As the middle of March came along, Nancy asked if you’d like to get lunch and see a movie one Saturday. Eddie was your usual movie buddy—because of your similar tastes in films and the fact that you were secretly head over heels in love with him–but it was always nice to spend time with Nancy. Lunch is enjoyable, Nancy taking you to a place that has much too fancy names for sandwiches that have basic deli meats and cheeses on them. The movie isn’t your typical pick, but you definitely agree with Nancy that the love interest is one of the hottest guys you’ve ever seen. You expect Nancy to just drop you off at home, but she gets out of the car as well.

“Just gonna say hi to Robin,” she says. 

Opening your front door, you’re greeted by a sea of green. It’s almost blinding, your usual living room turned into a mini Emerald Isle. Green streamers hang on the walls and from the ceiling, and a green tablecloth is thrown over a table that’s covered with food and what looks like pints of Guinness. Tiny gold coins litter the room, glinting in the fading sunlight, looking like a rainbow threw them up. Not to mention your friends all decked out in green. 

“What is going on?” you ask with a laugh as you step inside. 

“It’s your Irish coming out party!” Robin yells. 

“You wouldn’t let me throw you an actual coming out party!” you call back to your sister. 

“This isn’t about me,” Robin says, waving you off. “This is about celebrating your Irishness.” 

“And getting drunk?” you ask, picking up one of the pints of Guinness.

“Eddie got those,” Steve says. Speaking of the metal head…

“Happy St. Patrick’s Day,” Eddie says as he walks up to you. He’s wearing a shirt that says, “Kiss Me, I’m Irish.” Seeing the message brings heat to your face and you shake your head.

“Eddie, you’re not Irish,” you laugh. 

“Yeah,” Eddie says, pink tinting his cheeks. “I know.”

“He just wants a kiss,” Robin says. His head snaps in her direction, face going from pink to red. 

“Is that so?” you ask, astounded by your own bravado as the words leave your lips. 

“I think your sister’s had too much Guinness,” Eddie mumbles.

“Haven’t had any,” Robin says, coming over to the table to look over the food that lays there. There’s corned beef and cabbage, various forms of potatoes, some bread, and a type of cake. Your sister notices you looking and points to them in turn. “Irish soda bread and Irish apple cake. Steve was gonna make an Irish stew but then I said he should take you out today while we set up. Eddie threw a little pity party at that idea, though.”

Eddie rubs his hands over his face, letting out a sigh.

“Okay, maybe I had some Bailey’s already,” Robin says with a shrug. 

“All right, Robin,” Steve says, coming over and patting a hand on her shoulder. “You’re about to give the guy a coronary, so why don’t we have some food, yeah?”

Making sure to try a little bit of every type of food, you load up a plate and make sure to sit next to Eddie as your friends gather around your dining room table. 

“You guys didn’t have to do this,” you say, looking around at all the festive memorabilia. 

“It meant so much to you to learn about your heritage,” Nancy says. “When you found out you’re Irish and we realized St. Patrick’s Day was coming up, there was no way we could just let it go by.” 

“Thank you,” you say, trying your best not to get emotional. 

Under the table, Eddie takes your hand, making your potato-filled stomach erupt into butterflies. 

“Oh!” Robin says, perking up. She hops out of her seat and hurries into the kitchen. Steve chuckles, shaking his head in amusement at her. Robin returns, five green drinks held in her arms. “I don’t think we could’ve gotten more American Irish than having Shamrock Shakes from McDonald’s.”

“It’s perfect,” you say, accepting the frozen treat from her. 

“Shit,” Steve curses after taking a large sip of his. “Brain freeze.”

Robin continues to drink more Bailey’s and Guinness than milkshake, and you’re glad that you’re already in your own house so you don’t have to worry about driving her home. 

“Did you intend for Robin to inhale all the alcohol?” you whisper to Eddie.

“No,” he says with a laugh. 

“Whatcha whispering about?” Robin asks, but doesn’t give either of you time to answer before she continues. “OH! Who’s gonna kiss Eddie?! His shirt says he’s gotta be kissed!”

Eddie blushes, moving to fidget with his rings. The gazes of both Steve and Nancy fall on you.

“I think the guest of honor should do it,” Nancy says. 

“Yeah, the Irish belle of the ball,” Steve agrees. 

“Y-You don’t have—.” Eddie is cut off by you leaning in and pressing your lips against his. He tastes of mint and Guinness, with something distinctly Eddie behind it. His hand comes up to cup your cheek and you’re distantly aware of your friends cheering. 

“Finally!” your sister shouts. 

“Henderson owes me twenty bucks,” Steve says.

When you part—only because you need air—you rest your forehead against his, unable to keep the smile from your lips. 

“How was that?” Eddie whispers, a matching grin on his own face. 

“Even better than being Irish.”

OOOOOOOOUGGHH DETER AND HIS MOM. FUCK, THE H U G S BIT HURTS MY HEART EVERY TIME IT IS VISCERALLY EFFECTIVE PELO YOU MONSTER ❤️

Moloch is so threatening I GASPED as we finally got to see him achieve Leg Rights and dud he ever put them to WORK running like that all over town!!

Gregor was incredible and competent and despite being opposing to the norm of how the kids go about things, a net positive for the town. His entrapment/death/conversion to what the cult put him through in the ending is an endangerment to the safety of everyone. That he really did care and want to protect the kids was sweet, and while harsh his reality check to Lila was something she's had coming.

I WAS RIGHT ABOUT SO MANY THINGS GOING INTO THIS I WAS SO EXCITED!!!!! Not beating the witch allegations in the slightest and still with so many questions and wonder.

I love how much we learn and yet how much there is to learn. Connections that are only half-given and have to be speculated and discovered with the ARG and background inferences. I still need to go over the frames and take in all the background characters. I don't know how far into November this is set but it's not long enough for Lila.

Getting the feeling that the Theives Duo were hired to go through the house yet settle on the attic, to nab THE DAD'S STUFF given its all strewn about the house after they get whooped, and then the New Grounds Ending confirms it had me shaking. Had me wondering if that's what BOB was sent to do initially in the very first epsiode, but when Lila ran into him he was gonna get a snack. That the cult members backed off at mentioning the spider and the Candy Dealer notes them as having been lucky + the picture revealled of it having been the Dad's (plus Pelo mentioning it has eaten people before) is making thoughts mimic a windows 98 trying to run the Sims.

The Gregor and Moloch ship those working on the show go for and snuck reference to in the show. The "and they've never been married but they are SO divorced" vibes of their interaction here, how Moloch called him by name and would have only ever lied in the past due to Gregor not having Moloch's in kind [the devil a deciever to any word said] hooooo I don't go there but it's next door and it looks fun!

The foreshadowing with the drawings done with Dexter and it's accuracy + Pelo drawing Moloch possessing a lot of characters + also doing so with Eyes + the Other Drawing = F E A R AND EXCITEMENT!!!!!!!

THE EYES IN THE BUCKET STILL LOOK LIKE DEXTER'S AND ARE ACTIVELY MOVING (especially in the Ending Spider Scene) HE IS STILL THERE AND TRAPPED AND AAAAAAAAAA!AAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

The Ooga Booga Jumpscare was fascinating and done super duper well!!!! Wanna make a whole breakdown about why and how it worked better than any other so far. There are some layers and misdirection and it's built up really well! Plus what looks like a version of her on Jaune's TV foreshadowing what's gonna happen like it did before with Bob.

It makes me wonder if there's more parallels to Moloch based in the line "I can be ANYWHERE now!" After scaring the Audience. I have a theory that a part of his possession tactic is Fear. To enter someone's body who isn't willing they need to fear him and he can only get one such victim at a time (hence why only Roy and not the whole Hatzgang at once vs Skid and Pump at the same time with no difficulty as they let him in). It's why he Stalks and Stares (Patty, Ignacio) and consistently when we get to be around for when he goes for it, he *roars*. Not bite and claw but roars. He's put off and doesn't enter those that have no fear of him (Gregor, Rick, Ignacio) and I think it's because he CAN'T. It's why even when at his weakest he roared at Gregor. To break the chant, the concentration, to make the wounded and bleeding enemy falter and fear and let him in with that response of weakness. It fails, of course, but hoooo with anyone less devoted I don't think it would have.

BRICK TO THE HEAD. THE COWARDS. THEY GOTTA AMBUSH THIS OLD GUY EVEN WHEN HE'S ALREADY LIMPING TO STAND A CHANCE THATS HILARIOUS.

The way Pump was distracted from opening up and being vulnerable with his sister and kept happy by the toy and the lie, while Skid has no such escape as his own heart to heart is burdened further by the sobs of his mom in a home that is no longer in any illusion safe with a shattered door and evidence of earlier break-in everywhere. These 2 have been diverging in small ways in their outlook on things for awhile now, but this episode's ending and scenes about parents, about knowing more and less than each other (The way Skid didn't know about Moloch not running but Pump did and how Skid started to ask what he meant, how Skid still associates all Happy Fellas as Stabby while Pump could see it was Dexter-specific because he could **see** through to what Dexter WAS according to the notes... if Gregor hadn't interrupted there may have been Words. Going forward, it feels like they're going to again.)

IGNACIO AND THE ILLEGAL GUN OF COMEDIC CONTRAST

I cannot stress enough how much Kevin feels like he's being pushed further and further towards a total breakdown and that he NEEDS a coworker to help like Radford [AAAAAAAAAAA THEATRE MAN RETURNS I WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE HIM HE PLAYS OFF KEVIN SO SO WELL AAAAA] It's not an if so much as a When with the way his vision is Scribblifying so much (a treat for the eyes tho) and while he CAN cool off if nothing goes immediately wrong its just gonna keep going wrong.

Roy is having problems and given his parents and vibe of his family plus his contact to Skid and Pump, guessing it's likely tied to how it's status quo isn't sitting well and the need for escape with friends. Parents who are present yet Not in how it matters and how they're needed by the child. So glad he's willing to open up at all (the contrast from the second episode is staggering) but like Kevin it feels like he's building up to a bigger breakdown.

It is for Susie's safety and well being that she never met Moloch and yet she might well have been a huge fan given her enjoyment of demons! Have to wonder how she'd react to seeing the ashen form of Moloch in the attic if she ever went digging for what's been going on herself.

Ignacio may be any number of things and the picture with the dad is making me run in circles around the room I am seething with th3 need to shake him even though he'd shoot me point blank. Speaking of, the fact that he was carrying it on his person with taking out the trash and how he used it genuinely made me think that if Skid and Pump bothered him one more time he was going to pop 'em where they stood the same way he was so unbothered and at the ready I was wheezing XD

Why does the portrait have a diamond why does it have only ONE diamond why is it like that despite looking like it's the one for the old mansion we glimpsed in the second epsiode what the hell is with the mannequin and SHY DOES IT HAVE A FACE IN THE HELL CREDITS CARD

The oath Gregor uses portraying a Lord yet not a Father yet maintaining The Son, as well as a Sacred Sky, has me going no-clip on my chair. I am Not Normal about this and I cannot pretend to be I need the implications of this world's religions being impacted with Eyes having been ever-present STAT and the horror of the cult not being to a different God but the same as Gregor's, simply met by a bridge of heresy to meet mortals with the divine while still of flesh and bone and claim of Death....

I thought Evermore was bribing the hobos to blow up the church but now... now it feels more likely to be either Bob's place (seeing his corpse wheeled in the soundtrack video + that Patty was about to cut into him again when the kids interrupted+ Evermore asking for a specific body to be moved) OR the Mansion (not being invited into any cult and wanting John to shut up about it so he gets an unofficial, literal backalley deal going for some nobodies with no credibility to do the work for him). Evermore is the kind of vain who'd spill that he was in an exclusive group to brag and is also wonderfully insufferable with his blatant ego; the idea that he ISN'T part of the cult and his not knowing and terrible mayor strats only benifit the cult so they don't bother with the risk of somone in power knowing about them and his denial that somone as important as him would EVER be excluded if there WAS one which must mean there ISN'T just has such a good punchline and I hope it's true I really do.

THEY SHARE A VA, IS THE MASCOT GUY THE SAME CHARACTER AS THE BOB COSPLAYER CAUSE HIS BAD LUCK AND MISFORTUNE FEEL SIMILAR! Also the happy fella furthest left moves its eyes after the kids so uh. So uh they might've been on the money to destroy them cause looks like one is already possessed by Something and it also gives greater legitimacy to the internment of the one in The Candy Tube of Shame at Kevin's workplace gosh they're STILL BEING SOLD if they become A Problem beyond Dexter and that's when we get to meet Robert's little sister who has one....

The way Pelo has explained how Moloch got stuck and how the possession works means we KNOW Patty was tethered to her body and unable to do anything except watch as Moloch used her to kill (any by the mess and lack of remains) eat Michelle (mom's name in description cast list) to regain some power and begin to sate the prolonged hunger Moloch has been trapped in. It's how he was able to perfectly mimic her and Dexter. It's why her lower half is coated with so much blood it may as well be dyed the color. It's no wonder she's adamant to have a gun! Glad to see evidence of her still actively working with John and Jack on the mystery in the ARG images too.

That doctor, Mort, I don't know who he was talking with but while he's sus as hell I'm not so sure he was taking the call we see Ignacio make. There isn't a reason to be informing him about the priest, even if bother WERE in the cult- going straight to the mourge and opening with asking if the body had been moved feels like it was a micromanage from Evermore to be sure that what he asked for is happening in a timely way. Gosh I love the soundtrack I've been looping the playlist for it while writing all this, again, not well, so so many thoughts. This isn't even all of them but it's past 1 am I have been typing for over an hour gonna pause it at the realization that something DID curse the Candy Corner for the holy water to have worked as well as the fact that the red head kid, Lucky was super cursed for what we now know as LEGIT HOLY WATER to have had such an effect on him. It wasn't boiled it was in that pot to get as many of the kids crowding as possible, as we see the bottles only effectively splash a single person. A friend mentioned Gregor may not even directly see Lucky given the behavior towards the child is abnormal and as we see here he IS normal towards children, even with costumes he sees as mockery of the lord, so ignoring him crumpled on the ground and the siezing on the doorstep are strange outliers. ALSO LEARING ABoUT GREGOR'S FULL NAME AND THE MEANING AND THE RELEVANCE OF THE ANGEL WINGS IN THE CREDITS AAAAAAAAAAAA!! For the headcanons for an AU, one where Zoom breaking Barry's back has some more lasting consequences?

oooooh absolutely!!!

first of all it takes way more than a pep talk and a couple days to get Barry back on his feet, I know he has super healing but we're talking a potential spinal cord injury here which is significantly worse than a broken bone, so Barry's in EoWells' wheelchair for an extended period of time which has to have it's own trauma since it's something of a representation of EoWells

getting into the science part of it, on a normal human a spinal cord injury can range from taking ~3 months to heal to being completely irreparable depending on the severity and how it's treated, usually with PT, OT, and/or orthotic intervention - judging by Barry's original recovery time I'd guess he probably had a less severe injury but that's no fun so for more lasting consequences I'm gonna say his injury in this AU is probably irreparable on a normal human

stem cell therapy and electrical stimulation are newer options for spinal cord recovery but I'm also going to say, due to his specific metahuman biology, stem cell therapy isn't going to be particularly effective, I definitely think Caitlin would try this though (and then Barry just gets more frustrated when it doesn't work)

meanwhile Harry and Cisco still manage to rescue Caitlin and get Grodd through a breach so at the very least they've got that bit handled

so now we have Barry several weeks in absolutely vibrating with frustration and nervous energy and probably horrifically depressed because Central City NEEDS The Flash and it feels like Zoom has actually broken him for good (and also Patty has to find out he's paralyzed at some point which DEFINITELY proves to her that he's The Flash because EVERYBODY saw Zoom take him down)

Barry makes progress ｓｌｏｗｌｙ but the moment he can KIND OF run he decides that's all he needs to start heroing again, this turns out to be a bad call and he probably ends up hurting himself further much to both his and Caitlin's irritation - he still manages to stop Turtle tho and Harry still kills Turtle but now Harry has a problem because Barry hurt himself again and can't run so his plan to steal some of Barry's speed and get Jesse back is in jeopardy

Caitlin and Cisco design an orthotic brace that Barry can wear in his Flash suit if he's gonna keep being stupid about it and Barry runs enough to get Harry the bit of speed he needs, Barry is too slow to save Iris from being stabbed by that rogue flying car part but he FULLY blames himself for pushing himself too hard and doesn't suspect Harry's involvement at all

I'm actually unsure if he'd go to Earth-2 without Caitlin, I think Caitlin would insist on him either staying or her coming with them as his doctor to make sure he doesn't completely ruin all of their progress in this case

I was just watching some Lee Know vlogs. And I can only imagine how soft he is with his kitten first thing in the morning. Like very gently pats, shielding her eyes from direct sunlight, asking about her dreams (he wants to know if he’s in them).

But also just imagine if they were away on a group thing and for whatever reason they couldn’t sleep in the same room. So he’s up at the crack of dawn waiting for her so he can cuddle her on the couch and even if she drifts back to sleep.

every morning text from him to his kitten will always be along the lines of "morning beautiful. did you sleep well? did you dream about me?" at first she'd be blunt and say yes or no depending on the answer.

if the answer was no, minho would simply reply with a ): and a teasing "you don't like me anymore? i see how it is..."

if the answer was yes, minho would reply a (: and ask all the details.

eventually she'd learn to ditch the "no", and opt for a "not last night baby but i'm daydreaming about you right now" which would lead to some form of phone sex or flirty messages right on the spot.

if they were sleeping together, minho would make sure to ask. "tell me everything, baby. all of it. what were we doing? were we married? did we have pups? were we still at the den? was chris bald?"

during one of their trips to the woods, half the rooms were being serviced, so the sleeping arrangements made it so minho and his precious kitten couldn't get privacy nor cuddle the other to sleep because jisung had invited himself to sleep with them and begged until they let him sleep sandwiched between the two.

when she woke up the next day, with only jisung clinging to her frame, she was a bit confused. so she made her way downstairs to find minho curled up on the sofa, hugging a pillow.

as soon as minho spotted his kitten he let go of the pillow and opened his arms with a sad pout on his lips, and she just chuckled and immediately plopped on the sofa and let herself be engulfed by her boyfriend's body heat.

"what are you doing here, baby?" she asked him immediately. and minho grumbled back a "i was mentally trying to get you to wake up and come join me. i love jisung, but i want to hug my girlfriend to sleep goddamn it. also, i woke up because the sound of chris and our mum 'sneaking out' for a morning fuck was just too hard to ignore so i moved as far away from the crime scene as i could..."

immediately after though, he'd ask as usual, mumbling against her hair. "did you sleep well? did you dream about me?"

"i did, baby. but it was....... you were fighting sir percival for a burger patty... in your wolf form"

"that's good enough for me..." minho mumbled again, hugging her close, sounding incredibly sleepy. after a few minutes, he fell asleep, and his kitten just snuggled impossibly closer and fell asleep shortly after.

He claims he just buys them from "that one little bakery" That Maka suspiciously never finds but in secret (not really) he really does them by himself and is proud when they're well liked!!

Maka

She's deffenly a little sport nerd kinda girl that got to like things like Basketball and soccer/football quite a lot, but she also would still enjoy a good book (or ten) at times as well next to solving crossword puzzles and other Puzzles and riddles!

Basically everything that makes her Brain go brrrr! Also idk how much it's connected to the hobby aspect, but I hat girl would have Duolingo on her phone and use it almost religiously every evening before bed!

It's super ironic but like Kim he actually has some hobbies he either won't admit to or people simply wouldn't believe it since why would a guy like him he interested in something like THAT???

Heather- She is head over heels for you, so anything that you want to do she is happy with. The thing is though is that she’s quick to do things for you or help you with something that sometimes you have to actively make her sit down. When you do get her to finally rest, usually it’s when she’s tired out. She’s more than happy to sleep during the day just so she can spend as much time with you as possible. Happily snuggles up to you even though you’re not the warmest person.

Mercurio- Fun fact, when you talk to Rosa at the beach, she tells you that he’s one of the only people that you can fully trust in the area. So, his place is absolutely a safe space for you. You ever feel like everyone’s out of get you or things are overwhelming he’s telling you to come over. Totally the type to threaten to beat up anyone that’s bothering you. “Just point me in a direction and give me a bat.” Most of the time he’s just kidding. Other times the only thing that’s keeping him from making good on his threats is that he wants to spend time with you. Also the type to worry over you eating. Not in a fearful way more so like, “Have you eaten tonight? Did you eat enough? I’m gonna run out and get you somethin’.”

Knox- Info-dumps are a big thing here. If he’s not telling you everything that he can about his night then he wants you to tell him about yours. There’s hardly anything that he doesn’t get excited to hear about. If it was something that you did then its totally awesome. More importantly though, he doesn’t feel the need to be so high-ocatain around you. While the whole ditzy thing is part of his personality he does play it up a bit more than it really is as sort of a decoy. He likes that he can just take a breath and calm down with you.

Vandal- He crashes at your place a lot. Turns out that he’s just been sleeping in the break room at the hospital when he could. There was nothing to keep him away from you or the chance to sleep in an actual bed once you offered. Once he shuffles his way into the apartment after a long night of working he’ll just flop onto the bed…whether or not you’re on it. He’ll be right next to you or on top of you while you both just lie there and watch tv. It’s not in a lovely sweet way like Heather though. Rather, he doesn’t have the energy to move so however he lands is where he’s going to stay. He will deny it, but he’s more likely to end up close to you than giving some space; it’s almost like he’s going it on purpose. Smacks you in his sleep sometimes, but that’s on accident as he’s reaching over to feel if you’re still there.

Paul- There’s not much to say about this one because he’s super dead. Bad luck buddy.

Patty- If you want to be that close to Patty, then heaven help you. If she’s not straight out telling everyone that you’re a vampire, then she’s insulting you in one way or another. Very much suggested to leave this one be.

Romero- He’s going to be happy to have someone to spend his nights with him in the graveyard. Not only because he was getting lonely from being by himself all the time, but also he has an extra set of hands for if the zombies get too rowdy. That being said, he will get annoyed if you get in the way on purpose, so be sure not to do so. Other than that, if there’s not much going on, then he’ll be glad to just sit with you on the couch and try to get reception on the old tv in his shack. It’s nice for him to have some down time and indulge in his more romantic side; he is a ghoul of a Toreador after all.
