revival of hearts.
synopsis. ever since jason formed the outlaws, he thought his love for you slowly slipped away, especially in artemis' presence, but then he realized something that's because of you.

Should you truly act as if everything is fine? You genuinely don't know.
Those many months he spent apart from you felt like ages, since it had almost been a year for him without your touch. It lingers, the way his thumb would brush against the back of your hand so delicately. You missed it, dearly.
You couldn't utter his name without disbelief. Only his face, with some long-lasting war scars. Jason, it merely comes an expression of incredulity, just like the day he told you you were trapped in another's loving hand.
Until now, your heart had been unable to bear the weight of the anguish struck in your chest, caught in the liberation of a broken heart, that he had found another, just right when he had said it right to your face on that meet up. He did fine without you. Artemis must've been a great company to him.
Is he actually to blame? He is, after all, a vigilante, which means he gets a lot of chances to meet fresh faces. You'd always assumed that the two of you shouldn't be in proximity, that a vigilante and a regular citizen couldn't prevail, and the uncomfortable truth became a reality.
It had been a year since you haven't seen him, though such a thought would linger in the most random moments. Since you failed to let him escape your mind— his image still haunts you, his name still spoken amongst the stories from the underworld and in the dark alleyways.
Because you blocked his number, the plethora of missed calls and text messages couldn't reach you, blinded by your pride and anguish, you didn't know. and he merely abandoned what the two of you shared.
Though, toward the end of Jason's journey with the Outlaws, an unconfirmed connection he had with Artemis, eventually came to a finality too. Their hearts were linked, but for a brief time, they thought everything about them was platonic.
Artemis bid goodbye to Jason with an epiphany realization of their tie on the eve of their departure, imploring him to return to you no matter what, telling him that perhaps his true home was in your psyche. They parted ways after that. It is unknown when fate will bring them back together.
But, for the time being, Jason allowed himself to bask in the afterglow with his erstwhile comrades before attempting to discover and stand in your path once more.
He spent a week separating himself from you and gathered ideas for ways to get you in touch with him again.
As the sun shone brightly, you stood out among the golden daytime crowd, with strands of light falling on your hair and eyes. A few feet away, he had seen you with both of his eyes and was suddenly caught by the actualization that he too missed you.
He was drawing nearer to you gradually as you followed closely behind the crowd. His feet were betraying him; he isn't quite ready yet, but this will be the turning point.
A hand abruptly made contact with your shoulder, causing you to be frozen in your steps. Your curiosity was piqued by the lovely parole of your name, prompting you to turn around as your eyes met those softened gazes of piercing pupils cast in your way, which was a bit close to you.
You stayed motionless for a nanosecond until you recognized the person in front of you—the one who was there in your voyage of amorous reverie, which you thought had ended. It caught you off guard since your heart was bursting out of your throat and dropping out of your chest at the same time.
In front of you, he stood tall yet his heart was weak. "I'm sorry for all those months I couldn't get to you," he continued, regretting in tone and eyes that he never returned. He can imagine the content look on your face when there hasn't been conflict between the two of you in those earlier times.
Despite the fact that it failed to convince you to forgive, doubts still remained as evident in your trembling voice when you questioned, "and I waited for nothing. Were you happy with her?" Your uneasy sigh accompanied the inquiry.   Witnessing you in such a state, where your heart visibly sank due to the distressing memory of his departure, caused him distress as well.
He hesitated upon being asked that question sincerely. Despite the lingering emotions within him, Jason felt compelled to respond truthfully, confessing that he still holds deep affection for you. "Yeah," he murmured softly. Anxious, you await his subsequent answers, desperately attempting to prevent tears from blurring your vision.
"But I realized," he mused wistfully, tugging at his lips with a hint of bitterness, as he delved into memories of his encounters with Artemis. Despite the passing of several months, thoughts of you lingered in his mind, yet articulating them seemed unattainable at present; the elusive words he sought eluded him still.
"She was just a companion, a friend, a sister..." He let out a long breath, acknowledging his defeat with a firm expression. With deeper exhalation, he confessed, "Even if I was with her, I still think about you." His words continued to reveal the truth, and the heavy feeling on his chest disspated, providing a slight sense of comfort, albeit he remained conscious of your startled response. He knows, it was a lot for you to take in.
You stayed hesitant, both of you fortifying for yourself against your apparent sudden outbursts. "I know I made a mistake but will you give me a chance to make it up to you?" This question, you've yearned to listen to, although your gaze betrayed you as tears of warmth streamed down your cheeks, you quietly sniffed. You were still angry with him, but you couldn't reject the fact that your affection for Jason still existed.
He feels pain witnessing your current state, especially when he is the cause of your tears. Unsure of how to help, he scooped you into his arms tenderly while you continue to weep, releasing all your whirl of emotions with each teardrop. He remains steadfast, ensuring that you won't slip from his warm and safe grasp.
Jason displayed patience as he awaited your calmness, gently stroking your back in an attempt to bring you comfort.   His heartache for you slightly diminished when the tears in your eyes dried off.
"Are you okay?" Was all he could manage was to witness your attempt at regaining composure, yet you remained entangled in a state of fragility, you hastily nodded. He sighed in a slight relief.
"I promise, I'll make it up to you no matter what." He added, as he hadn't allowed his arms branch out, but was still securely curled about you, as you buried your face in his chest, allowing yourself to be alleviated by his tender touch. This causes his lips to curve into a contented smile, and because you seek solace in his touch, he is more than happy to oblige.

Sweetheart (Rockstar!Eddie x MusicStar!Steve)
Steve is new to the music industry, he had worked as a teacher at Hawkins Middle School for six years after Venca, but now he's basically got his name in lights wherever he goes. Everything went by in a flash when it happened, the phone call saying he got the record deal, the congratulations from his friends and moving to New York with Robin. Now he was about to go on his own tour for his album “Sweetheart”, the album he had written for Eddie. (all steves songs are taylor swift songs)
Eddie’s been in the music industry for eight years now, he’s learned the ins and outs and all the ways to work the system. THe only thing is he isn’t exactly “Eddie Munson” in the industry. After everything that happened in Hawkins. The murder accusations, Chrissy’s death, Vecna. He couldn’t handle being Eddie anymore, the doc Hopper had introduced him to had set up an alternative life for Eddie after he reached out three months in Hawkins. Now he had his new band and a new life as Darren Mack. Their band Raining Hellfire was world famous and they were about to go on tour.
Dear Eddie, With Love... A Collection Of Letters
A collection of letters written to Edward "Eddie" Munson of Corroded Coffin during his 4 month coma in 1986. These letters were written from friends and family when they were struggling with their losses and the fear they would lose Edward as well. This collection was published in 1996 after Edward came out as gay and announced his queer relationship with well known human rights activist Steven "Steve" Harrington.
The Aftermath
A bunch of one-shots that will come together in one holiday party ending
Nancy Is Dead (WIP Name)
Ronance, Steddie, hopper wants to adopt evryone, protective Steve.
Jason beats up robin for being gay and visiting Nancy's grave on their aniverity.
A Bullet Through My Heart (no full description yet)
during season 4, ronance, hinted steddie, mad robin, miscommunication, robin nancy fight, very emotional
Don't Mess With My Best Friend:
When Robin shows up at Steve's door covered in blood and bruises, he panics. His dad never let them keep a first aid kit in the house so he has no way to help his best friend. This leads him to call in a favour from Chief of Police Jim Hopper, who knows that Steve dosen't live in a great environment.
Steve nurses Robin back to health while trying to figure out who beat up this best friend and deals with his own trauma from his problematic father.
Also Nancy is dead :)
Trust Me I Love You:
A collection of our favourite people proving to their favourite people that they love them platonically, romantically and everything in between.
Fuck You Munson (havent started writing)
Steve's about to start his the tour for his first album Sweetheart when Eddie Munson gets brought back into the conversation. Steve still hasnt forgiven him for packing up and leaving in the middle of the night and dosent want to. Steve just wants to enjoy his tour with Robin and his fans.
Eddie's never been one to keep up with new artist but when he hears Steve Harrington said over the radio it pulls him from his current downward spiral. He's stopped smoking, any drop of alcohol is gone from his apartment. Eddie's biggest regret was leaving Steve now he had a chance to fix it.
Everything goes down hill when Steve find out their venue has been double booked and he now has to do a show with Eddie and his new band Raining Hellfire.

(and it dies) a million little times
Part 1 of 2:
For you I would ruin myself
I have to post something so I still feel like I'm accomplishing things while I write (what was going to just be the other half of this) the second part of this. And also while I wait for inspiration so strike for Protect You or Skate Into My Heart because I promise I haven't given up but I have commITMENT ISSUES LEAVE ME ALONE
ANYWAY this is for@the-love-yourself-journal (or I guess @perseusjackson-jasongrace) who is the literal queen of Jercy idc. She got me to ship them in the first place so thanks babe
Ps Percy isn't white because canon Percy isn't white fight me
It felt wrong, hiding such a secret from her. He and Annabeth had always been honest with each other, it was why they had been drawn together from the moment they met.
She was definitely the best marriage option he had seen. Despite that, despite being able to converse with each other in a way that most married couples they knew could not, there was something missing.
When he’d met the blonde-haired boy, he realized what it was.
Percy had struggled his entire life with this. This sickness. It had always been drilled into his mind that people experiencing what he was experiencing was wrong, sinful, in fact. So he never spoke of it. Never spoke of being attracted more to the boy next door than the girl. Never spoke of the fact that aside from his wedding night, years ago, he’d never had sex. He couldn’t. Not with her. Not with any her.
Laughing blue eyes, annoyingly perfect teeth.
He couldn’t tell her. At best, she’d laugh, then ignore it. At worst, she’d tell everyone, and he couldn’t imagine what would happen to him then.
A horrific death on the street, most likely, followed by a long, agonizing stay in Hell for his sins.
A small, faded scar on his upper lip from his childhood.
Percy was sitting at his desk in his office, pretending to work while actually waiting for him to appear. As always before he actually showed up, Percy’s mind ran rampant. His own brain spat insults at him, his gut twisted at what he was doing. What he was doing to Annabeth. His heart screamed at him for not being able to stop himself, from not fighting harder to go back to being in love with Annabeth, despite knowing he’d never been. His soul longed for its other half.
The way his nose would scrunch when he laughed, the laugh only Percy could draw out of him.
Percy shifted in his chair. His tie was too tight around his neck, he was going to suffocate. Maybe he should. The clock continued ticking, as it always did.
The feel of his hands, on his face, his hips, his back.
“He is here to see you, Mr. Jackson.”
“Send him in.” Voice professional, practiced, despite the lurch in his gut. His brain, his heart, his soul all screamed louder, arguing their own points. Waging their violent war within him.
As always, the sight of him quieted them all.
Percy stood, adjusting his tie, and made his way over to the man leaning against his now closed door. His throat bobbed as Percy approached.
Percy lifted a hand and traced that scar, his voice barely above total silence, “I’ve missed you.”
Jason Grace’s breath was hot on his hand. His voice matched Percy’s, “You will be my ruination.”
“You are already mine.” Then Percy lunged forward, capturing his lips.
Looks like his soul had won this one. Again.
~~~~~
Piper McLean fidgeted uncomfortably with the hem of her skirt. She’d ruined many perfectly good skirts like this. Sitting. Waiting.
“Sooner or later you’re going to completely unravel one of those.” Piper looked up and was met with gray eyes. The same gray eyes that had been staring at her all day. She’d been staring right back.
“The children’s break is short,” Piper murmured back, standing from her stool.
“Indeed,” Annabeth replied, moving forward to take Piper’s hands.
“What are we doing?” Piper’s voice was hoarse, scratchy. “We have husbands.”
“Indeed.” Was all Annabeth said again, her grip on Piper’s hands tightening.
“I love Jason,” Piper said, mostly to herself.
Annabeth’s lips pursed, “I love Percy.” She took another step forward, Piper was almost completely pressed against her teaching desk. She dropped Piper’s hands to cup her face, and Piper’s eyes fluttered closed in response. “But not like I love you.”
Piper opened her eyes, “We are going to destroy each other.”
“I would gladly destroy myself for you, moya solnishka.”
“Don’t you feel bad?” The distress in Piper’s voice forced Annabeth to pull back. Her eyes held a level of concern that made Piper’s breath catch.
“I do,” She conceded after a moment of silence, “For lying to Percy. For lying to everyone in my life. For having to hide you. For having to hide us. But I do not feel bad for loving you.” Her voice held a note of desperation, she was begging Piper to understand. “Do you?”
Piper didn’t respond for a beat too long, Annabeth pulled further away, her face flushed.
Their time was up, the laughter of the children echoed through the schoolhouse as they returned.
“I’m sorry,” Piper said.
Annabeth shook her head, “No, Piper. I’m sorry.” Her eyes were miserable, “Forgive me.”
For what? Piper tried to ask but the lump in her throat stopped her.
“I have ruined you,” Annabeth said simply. “I am forcing you to go along with my sins.” Her back was straight, her face was empty, but Piper could see how hard she was fighting to keep it that way.
Piper shook her head but Annabeth didn’t see it, she was walking out of the door already.
Oh, gods. What had she done?
~~~~~
“How was your day?” Jason asked his tone the same forced lightness it had been for months.
“It was good! Nothing out of the ordinary.” Her tone was the same.
Jason nodded from his seat at the couch, “Good. That’s very good.”
“What about you?” Piper’s hands were shaking as she laid the plates on the table.
“My day was the same,” Jason said as he slid into a chair at the table.
Piper looked at him for a long moment and came to a decision.
“Jason?” She asked, clutching her fork tightly.
“Yes?” He looked up from his plate.
“I would like to visit a friend after dinner.”
Jason nodded, “Of course. I’ll invite over one of my coworkers while you’re gone.”
As they resumed their meal, they seemed lighter than they had all evening.
~~~~~
Piper knew she couldn’t very well just appear on Annabeth’s doorstep, so after she washed the evening dishes she called her.
Her fingers were heavy as she slid the ring to dial the numbers she had long ago memorized.
Piper’s hopes were answered when Annabeth was the one to pick up the phone.
“Annabeth,” She was breathless. “I-” She remembered Jason and her voice dropped low, “I need to see you.”
Annabeth was speechless and Piper wished she could see her face, “May I see you?”
Annabeth’s voice was just as low with an edge Piper couldn’t name, “Yes. Yes. Meet me.”
She didn’t have to say where. Piper knew. The place they’d always meet at. That secret place, filled with their sin. Their secrets. Their agonized love.
Piper hurriedly stuck the phone back in its place and pulled her coat over her shoulders. She kissed Jason on the cheek and was out the front door before he could respond.
~~~~~
Jason sat, bouncing his leg until Piper had been gone for long enough. (It may not have even been long enough, it was just until he could not wait any longer.)
He raced to the phone and dialed the number engraved on his heart.
“Hello?” Percy asked. Thank god. Jason hadn’t thought of a decent excuse to give Annabeth if she’d been the one to answer.
“Can you get away tonight?” Jason asked.
Percy waited for a beat, as if in thought, before responding. “Yes, I can.”
Jason smiled, “Piper is out for the evening. You could come here.”
“I’m on my way.” Jason laughed at how quickly the words fell out of his mouth and the hurried click signifying he hung up.
~~~~~~
Annabeth trailed her lips up the column of Piper’s throat, and breathed deeply through her nose, “Is that a new perfume?” They were in their spot, a dark, shadowy corner in between two factories, hidden away from the rest of the world.
Piper dug her fingers into Annabeth’s shoulders, “Yes,” She knew what Annabeth wanted to ask, but knew she wasn’t going to put Piper in that place. “It’s for you.”
Annabeth froze and pulled an inch away from her spot on Piper’s jaw. “It smells good,” Her voice was hoarse and she resumed her ministrations along Piper’s jawline.
“Annabeth, about this morning-” Annabeth cut her off, shaking her head.
“No. It’s alright, sweetheart. You don’t need to apologize for your feelings, ever.”
“The rest of society would disagree.”
Annabeth understood her meaning and ducked her head to hide her face. “How long can we keep doing this?” Desperation.
“I don’t know,” Piper wrapped her arms around the other girl’s shoulders and pulled her flush against her.
Piper breathed deeply, feeling the warmth of Annabeth’s body, a stark contrast to the metal of the factory wall at her back. “All we can do is live in the moment.” Piper pulled Annabeth’s face away from her neck. “Damn the rest to hell.”
Annabeth nodded, “Damn the rest to hell.” Then they were kissing again.
~~~~~~~
When the doorbell rang Jason raced to answer it, feeling like an excited puppy.
Percy was leaning against one of the pillars on the porch. He was beautiful; Jason had yet to see a time where he wasn’t. Shining green eyes, so painfully alive, that black hair Jason knew he frequently fought with to make it ‘work appropriate’. The lean, toned body that Jason often found himself staring at, or thinking of.
Percy was surveying the neighborhood, the picture of unruffled aside from the tightness in his lips. When he heard Jason open the door, that tightness vanished, replaced instead by the grin that Jason had fallen in love with in the first place.
Whoa. Reel that back in. Calm down, Grace. No love here. Just a drug that always gave him the high he needed. No love. That makes it too serious. This is harmless fun. Well, not harmless.
“Jason?” Percy interrupted his spiral and Jason realized he’d been staring silently, that he hadn’t let Percy inside.
He shook his head, “Sorry.” He stepped back, opening the door wider. Percy walked in and threw himself on the couch, looking perfectly content and at home. As if what they were doing wouldn’t result in pain, physical and emotional.
He could always go back, he reminded himself. There was always an out. He was addicted to the poison that was Percy Jackson, but he could always escape.
The click of the door closing was a death sentence.
He could always get out, right?
~~~~~~~
It had been a few days since Annabeth and Piper had seen each other, the two women were teachers at the same school, yet they always seemed to miss each other. In the hallways, the break room, before and after classes, they could never catch more than fleeting glances and the swish of hair and hips around a corner. Annabeth was determined to change this.
She saw a flash of brown hair that she immediately registered as Piper, glancing at the clock to make sure she had enough time before her students were expecting her, she nearly sprinted after the other girl.
Piper was leaning against the wall when Annabeth found her, grinning. Her eyes, shards of multicolored glass Annabeth always found herself drowning in, were glittering in the harsh light. Annabeth stalked closer and Piper’s grin didn’t fade.
“Oh no,” She drawled, leaning enough to rest a hand in the curve of Annabeth’s waist, attempting to tug her forward. “You caught me.” Annabeth couldn’t resist Piper’s smile and met it with her own, the smile she only gave Piper. “What will I, this poor damsel, do?”
This was risky. This was really fucking risky. They were basically out in the open, where another teacher or staff member or even the students could easily find them.
Piper reached up and drew the pad of her finger against that crease in Annabeth’s brow and Annabeth knew she was done for. Piper smiled, this one soft and adoring, and Annabeth melted through the floor.
Annabeth gave up on trying to stay as unaffected as possible, pressing her lips to Piper’s. Piper pressed herself closer as if she was trying to mold them into one person. The soft, smooth contours of Piper against Annabeth’s sharp, hard edges of Annabeth was like some kind of poetry. It was probably a metaphor about who they were as people, blah blah blah. She didn’t have time to think about damn metaphors. Not while Piper was here, kissing her like she actually wanted this. Like she’d do anything to keep this. Annabeth knew it wasn’t true, knew Piper wouldn’t ruin her life for this. (She didn’t blame her, but it was nice to pretend sometimes)
Piper smiled into the kiss and mumbled, “This is nothing like how the fairytales normally go.” Annabeth let out a surprised laugh.
Piper pulled away, staring unflinchingly into Annabeth’s eyes, the storms she was responsible for keeping at bay. “Gods,” She turned her head and Annabeth had no idea where this was going with this. “This is better than any of those fairy tales.” Then she moved, winding her hands into Annabeth’s hair, and kissed her again.
Gods, she’d fallen for this girl. She had no idea when it had happened. Maybe 30 seconds ago, maybe the first time they’d met, three years ago. Maybe it was when Percy was on business trips, which meant that Annabeth could work without anyone to make her sleep, eat or anything ‘healthy’ and Piper would come over. Make her take breaks from her work. Listen to Annabeth rant about things she knew she didn’t understand. Annabeth had so many plans, to escape this hell town, fight for her rights, build something permanent somewhere she loves with someone she loves and be unafraid to live. She also had even more impossible dreams; to build something. Piper humored her, always listened to her, attention never wavering. It was more than Annabeth could ever ask for.
She was more than Annabeth could ever ask for.
Annabeth pulled away, telling her as much and something flashed in those kaleidoscope eyes but she didn’t respond.
“Piper?” Hazel’s voice echoed into the hallway they were in. Piper leaped off of her, hurrying to straighten herself.
Hazel rounded the corner right as Piper and Annabeth had gotten themselves together.
The woman smiled at them and looked at Piper when she spoke, “Leo needs to see you,” Piper opened her mouth but Hazel cut her off, “I have no idea why.”
"Okay, thanks," Piper said, definitely too out of breath for it to be anything but suspicious. Piper hesitated a second longer, fighting to not look back at Annabeth but finally, she walked off.
Annabeth smiled awkwardly at Hazel and the other girl grinned but it quickly turned somber, "I don't know what you're doing, Annabeth." She shook her head, "I don't want to know. But I want you to know this," She stepped forward and clasped the other girl's hands in hers. "I care about you. I care about Piper. Be careful, please." Her wide gold eyes were begging, "Be careful, Annabeth."
"I'm trying," Annabeth tried to say but it came out a choked whisper. "I'm trying."
Hazel nodded and leaned forward so they were touching foreheads. "I'm scared for you."
Annabeth wanted to reassure her, but the words got caught in her throat. They both knew Annabeth couldn't promise anything.
~~~~~
Percy was staring at Jason.
This wasn't a rare occurrence, the opposite, actually. Percy could often be found staring at Jason.
But there was something about Jason Grace under the moon and her stars that was absolutely breathtaking.
His head was tilted back, eyes closed, breathing deeply, a small smile on his lips. The starlight seemed to wrap around him, shielding him from the world, announcing him as one of them. His blonde hair was damp from their earlier shower and the moonlight danced through the silky strands. Gods, Percy thought, taking him in, he's ethereal.
He was leaning back on his hands, ankles crossed over the edge of his porch.
They were in Jason's backyard, sharing a smoke; Percy took a long drag, trying to ground himself. Piper would surely be back soon, he didn't have much longer. He needed to come back to earth and distance himself from the star that was Jason Grace.
When Jason's eyes fluttered open and he turned those crystal-blue masterpieces on him, his smile growing into something wide and soft and fond, Percy knew he was done for. Fuck coming back to earth.
Jason reached over, and plucked the cigarette from between Percy's lips, and brought it to his own. He leaned back to stare at the sky again and Percy leaned sideways until his head was pillowed in Jason's lap.
Jason kept one hand on the deck to prop himself up and ground the cigarette out, dropping it to comb his free hand through Percy's hair.
"We should leave," Percy said suddenly, breaking the peaceful silence.
Jason's hand stilled briefly. "What?"
"Leave town, together."
"Where would we go?" He didn't sound angry (thank the gods), he kept his voice soft, but Percy could hear that note of disbelief.
"Anywhere," Percy replied and Jason huffed a laugh above him.
"That's not much of a plan. Besides, we have lives here."
"You're all I need," Percy said, way too sincerely, tracing a pattern on Jason's knee with his index finger.
Jason's hand stilled again and Percy cursed himself and everything that existed to make him say that. Now I've scared him away, Percy thought bitterly and got off Jason's lap.
Jason was staring at him with a look Percy couldn't decipher, his lips parted slightly. Percy wanted to kiss him; this wasn't the time to kiss him. Keep it together.
"Perce-"
"Jason!" Piper's voice carried out the back door and wrapped around the two of them like a vice.
Jason went considerably pale and Percy stood up. "I'll see you whenever I see you?" Percy said.
Jason just nodded, still staring at him.
Percy opened the backdoor and stepped inside, saying a brief 'hello' and 'goodbye' to Piper before finally making it back to his car.
He slammed his hands on the hood and cursed, "Stupid, Jackson. That was stupid." he opened the car door with considerably more force than necessary and sat down heavily. "Fucking idiot." And now he had to go home to Annabeth and pretend nothing was wrong. Great.
~~~~~
It started with the notes. Sticky notes with slurs scrawled on them (against his race, his orientation, anything they could get a hand on), in horrible handwriting, stuck to his desk at work. Jason didn't mention any, but when he took his coat off and draped it on Percy's couch, one fell out, crumpled as if Jason had furiously shoved it in his pocket.
Percy had picked it up, saw what was written there, and knew that this wasn't a coincidence. Someone knew. Someone knew about them and wasn't very happy about it.
He'd briefly wondered if it was Annabeth, but no, she didn't seem to be angry at him or disgusted, but she had been colder lately. When the notes started appearing in places that weren't as public as his desk, Percy got more concerned.
He still hadn't talked to Jason about it; the notes and what had transpired on Jason's porch either.
They'd elevated too. Notes in his car, calling him a disgrace to his family and god. But Percy wasn't as worried as he probably should've been. After all, this person was hiding behind ink and paper, if they had something to say, they could do it to his face.
But when they started threatening him, Percy finally spoke to Jason about it.
"Have you been getting notes?" He asked.
Jason was sprawled on Percy's bed, sans shirt, arm thrown over his eyes as if shielding him from the light.
Percy himself was sprawled next to Jason, head on his chest, legs twined together.
Jason peered down at him, blinking wearily. His glasses were sitting on the side table. "What?"
"Notes," Percy said as if this explained everything. "That are calling you-" He swallowed and Jason's eyes tracked the movement.
"Yeah," Jason said finally. "I haven't been too concerned." A lie. If Percy knew Jason at all (and he did) the other boy had been worrying himself to death over this, afraid to tell anybody, panicking and overthinking alone. The thought made Percy's chest ache.
"I wasn't going to mention it," Jason said.
"Me either, but this recent one," He trailed off, already doubting if he should be worrying Jason over this. But it did technically involve him.
Percy pushed off of Jason and the other boy made a whining noise in the back of his throat. Percy grinned as Jason flushed in embarrassment.
Percy pulled the crumpled note out of his discarded jacket and read aloud to Jason, who was still on the bed, "I know all about your illicit affairs-"
"Oh, how proper."
Percy snorted, "Tell me about it." He cleared his throat, "Anyway. -with Jason Grace." Jason stiffened. They knew his name. "If you don't do what I want I will tell Annabeth and Piper all about it. And maybe more than just the two of them, too.”
“Mhmm. And we believe them?”
“I’m not sure,” Percy said tossing the note onto the nightstand and belly-flopping onto the bed next to Jason.
“If you did, you wouldn’t be here,” Jason said, practically.
“And how do you know that?”
“Because I know you.”
Percy smiled, "Yeah, I guess you do."
Jason smiled back, only for a few seconds before his face fell; Percy felt his heart jump to his throat. "What are we going to do?"
"You already have an idea," Percy said, staring at him.
"You're not going to like it."
Percy sighed, "Let's hear it."
"We can't see each other."
Percy shot to his feet. "No! I'm not letting some heathen," He pointed angrily at the note. "Bully me into staying away from the man I love."
Jason went deathly still and Percy's brain finally caught up to what just happened.
"'Man you love'?" His voice was quiet and Percy didn't know how to read that.
"Yeah," Percy whispered. "Yes."
Jason wasn't looking at him and every second that passed, Percy felt his heart chipping away.
"I-" Jason swallowed and wet his lips. "I love you." His voice was hushed as if he was scared to be heard.
Percy stared at him for a beat of bated breath before lunging at him. Jason laughed as his back collided with the mattress.
Jason held Percy's face in his hands and looked him over, drinking everything in before kissing him.
The notes could wait.
You've only lived in Angel Wood for 1 1/2 years, so the boosts the coin gives you is normal to everyone. (Like you didn't suddenly get strong like Billy) 4. You already know about Zordon and Rita, you found the ship when you accidentally fell into the water. You have been training ever since and can morph. You can morph because you always imagine having a team and being connected to them and trusting them. Plus you've been practicing since you were 16. But you haven't been ale to use your zord yet.
Tumblr media
What the hell? Trini thought as the wall starts talking to the group. "These are them? They are so small." Zordon said. Trini rolled her eyes, who did this wall think he was. "Show me the coins." Zordon demands and everyone in the group pulls out their coins, "The Morphing Grid is never wrong. If the power coins have returned to the ship with these... teenagers... then these teenagers are the Power Rangers." Power rangers? Trini thought, confused. "Power rangers?" Zack asked, voicing his confusion. "Yes Power rangers. Any other questions?" Hi. How you doing? My name is Billy. Billy Cranston. Kids used to called me Billy Cramps..." "Billy! Stop." Jason interrupts. "Sorry. The images here in this sphere tell the history of the Power Rangers. Looks like the Power Rangers were a team that protected life? And life is a bright light. Or a piece of light?" Zordon looks slightly impressed with what Billy figured out, "Yes. Yes, Very good Billy. It is called the Zeo Crystal..." "Oh. I love this part. Every planet in the universe that has life. Has a piece of the Crystal buried inside it. 65 million years ago, Zordon's team died... defending the Crystal here and what is now Angel Grove. The Coins have chose you five. Now you must protect the Zeo Crystal and life on Earth." Alpha 5 said, interrupting Zordon's story and finishing it for him.
(Time skip all of the explaining cause not gonna lie it is long)
Trini woke up with a start. What the actual fu--, she thought as she looked around before realizing shes in y/ns room with y/n laying in bed with her. That just makes her even more confused. Last thing she remembers is getting hit by a train and now shes in bed with her girlfriend... It just doesn't add up. She checks the time and sees its 5 am and still has a little less then 3 hours before school. Trini slips out of the bed and leaves a note for y/n, saying she went home. After getting home and getting ready for school, Trini sat downstairs in the dining room wit her family. "So..Where were you yesterday and last night? Were you with friends? Do you have any friends? Why are you so tired?" Trini's mom asked before Trini's dad stops her. Her mom gave her dad a confused look. "You did ask her four questions... before she's even answered the first." He says to answer her confusion. "Because she's like a ghost around here. She needs to start communicating." "June." "Say something." "Speak! I just..." "Relax. Okay, relax. Okay, Trini, let's start over. Please tell us one thing you did today." Trini just rolled her eyes at her mom trying to get her to speak and her dad trying to stop her from interrogating me. "Me and four kids from Angel Grove found a spaceship buried underground. What? I'm pretty sure I'm a superhero. And I was with y/n last night." Trini responds being truthful. "Cool!" Her brother say. "Not cool. Pee in that cup! I knew that y/n was a bad influence on you." Trini rolls her eyes at peeing in a cup but tenses when her mom makes a comment about y/n. There was no way someone was gonna bash on her girlfriend and get away with it, even if it was her mom. "Don't speak about y/n that way. Shes probably the only good thing that has come out of moving here." Trini says before walking away, not even letting her mom respond.
(Time skip to after school)
Trini was happy she got to spend time during free period and lunch with y/n. Y/n even took her off campus to Krispy Kreme to help her relax. Y/n always seemed to know when Trini was stressed or not in the best mood. And Trini loved her even more for it, even if they haven't actually said the L word yet. Trini wasn't really looking forward to going back to the space ship and wanted to spend the afternoon with y/n but they said they had something they needed to do. Walking over the hill Trini was a little surprised to see everyone there. Everyone stood in awkward silence for a few minutes. "Well lets get this over with." She mumbled before jumping into the water. Everyone else following after her. When they got into the space ship, Zordon had them attempt to morph. As everyone got on their platform, they all noticed one was empty. "Why are there 6 platforms? I thought there was only 5 of us." Jason asked voicing everyone's confusion. "There are 6 rangers, red, blue, black, yellow, pink, and white. The white ranger already knows of Rita and my past. They have been training with Alpha 5 for a little over a year. You will be meeting them today." Zordon responds like its nothing special. The group looks around in shock. "Now lets get back to the task at hand."
Morphing was a complete fail, so Zordon had everyone start training without armor. It was the third day of training and the team was looking a lot better. "When will we meet this white ranger?" Zack asks after practice that day. "Actually they should be here any minute." Alpha says before spawning 10 practice dummies. "Wow that's a lot. Why did you do that?" Kimberly asked. "Zordon like to catch white off guard, says it helps with practice. I don't kno--" "Guys look!" Billy exclaims, cutting of Alpha. The team looks up to see a body moving through the water. When they body gets to the edge of the water they stick there hand out of it and wave to everybody. The team looks around, a little weirded out. Alpha just chuckles, "They always mess around like that before practice." They watch as the hand suddenly stops waving and clenches into a fist. They all watch in awe as their hand get wrapped in white armored gloves. They suddenly drop from the water and start destroying the practice dummies. When they finally defeat the last one they stop and turn to their new teammates. Y/n feels her eyes widen comically when she sees Trini there. While the y/n is panicking over seeing their girlfriend, the team is looking at the mysterious white ranger in shock. "Whoa!" Billy practically yells, "How did you do that? Why does your armor look different from what ours are supposed to look like? Why--" Billy goes to continues but stops after feeling a hand on his shoulder. "Breath Billy." Jason says, "But he's not wrong, why does their suit look different from what ours is supposed to look like?" He asks turning to Alpha 5. "Well unlike your coins, the white ranger coin has been passed down generation to generation in a family. When the eldest child of the white ranger reaches 16 they are given the coin and sent here to train. The last ranger before the one you see before you decided to move to Angel Grove sometime after the coin was passed down because of the threat of Rita. Anyways, since the coin wasn't hidden away it has gotten some updates. Their zord is different too, while you all have dinosaurs the white ranger has a tiger."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Your power ranger suit and zord)
Trini smiles hearing the word tiger, thinking about how you and her were gonna get a dog together after high school. You had finally agreed to the name Tiger after a long discussion and some... convincing. You watch as Trini smiles and you blush under the helmet, knowing exactly what shes thinking about. You get pulled out of your thoughts as you see the team turn to look back at you. "Oh sorry I guess I should introduce myself." You watch as Trini looks at you in slight confusion before shaking it off, your voice just sounded so familiar to her. At the point, you were sweating buckets. Yeah, Trinis a ranger now but its only been for a couple days. You on the other hand had been keeping this secret since the day you met and you know Trini is big on trust. You just hope she doesn't get too mad and realizes you had to keep it from her like she has to do with everyone else now. You take a deep breath before sticking your hand out. "My name is..." Your helmet disappears, and Trini lets out a gasp in shock, "Y/n?" You just awkwardly chuckle as everyone looks between the 2 of you. "Um yeah, and I'm the white ranger."
Just as Michael's about to answer their question, Jason's phone goes off. "Perfect timing," he mutters before going outside to take the call. "Jason Morgan."
"Mr. Morgan, it appears Mr. Renault is at the office demanding to speak with you. What should I do?" One of his employees informs him.
"Cyrus has my number. If he would like to schedule a meeting, tell him he can call me and we'll have one."
"I've already told him that and he won't agree to it."
Dammit. Peace in this town is fragile enough; the last thing they need is an angry Cyrus. He's been unstable as of late, not agreeing to this could lead to a gunfight. Well, that's actually to be expected. "We'll meet at the office in twenty minutes then. Tell him to call off his men, including Brando. Look around the perimeter and have the rest of the guards check to make sure that there's no one on the premises or within range of hitting someone."
"Yes sir," the employee agrees, hanging up the phone.
"Business stuff?" Willow asks cautiously. After all, this is the first time she's been in this situation.
"Yeah," Michael answers, sensing from the businesslike stance he's taken in their kitchen. "Let's go check on the kids."
They leave the room and instantly Carly asks, "What did he do?"
"Demanded we meet. I don't know why or what this is about, so please tell me you didn't do anything stupid that could cost the truce to be undone."
"I haven't done anything. I've considered it, but I haven't done anything yet," she tells him. "How long til the meeting?"
"I've gotta get going. You have to stay here, this doesn't concern you. Cyrus is looking for a fight and you'll give him one. He's looking for any reason to violate the truce and take me out," Jason informs her. "I mean it. No showing up."
"Is it a solo meeting?"
"Yes."
"You want me to sit here and list out the times he's tried to kill you this past year and a half? Jason, you can't got to a meeting alone. You'll get killed!" Carly exclaims.
"No I won't, Carly. I've got it handled, I told you," he says, glancing at his watch.
"Yes you will! You need to stop agreeing to these one on one meetings because one of these days he's going to get you killed and I won't be able to survive that!"
"I told you, I'm not getting killed!"
"Can you predict the future? No, you can't! I know you might want to go and have this meeting but you can't do it alone!"
"I'm going to the meeting, Carly. You are going to stay here with your kids, grandkids, and Willow," he says, voice unbudging. She's not going to win.
"Promise me you'll come back."
"Carly-"
"Promise me, Jason, or you're not going!"
"I promise."
"Fine, you can go," she surrenders, hugging him. "But be safe."
"As safe as I can be, meeting with him," he agrees.
"Alright, well you better go now or you're not going to be able to say goodbye to the kids."
He bids them all goodbye, hugs Carly again, and leaves for the meeting. His gun is on him, as is his cell phone. Though the usefulness of a cell phone is to be questioned when it's a mob meeting he's having. Not like he can exactly call the police if anything happens, they'd arrest him.
Arriving at the office, he senses that today's going to be a long day.
"Hey Harry, is it clear?"
"Yes sir."
"Alright, thanks," he says before walking into the office. "Cyrus. What's so urgent?"
"Well, Sonny's been gone a year now. I was hoping we could revisit us joining together for a way to continue the peace in this town," Cyrus answers.
"Like I told you the day you found out he was missing, that isn't happening. You're not going to run your product through this town and ruin it. This was Sonny's territory and if he's not dead and comes back, it'll be his again. We both agreed no drugs. It's not happening. Is that all?" Jason asks, bored.
"No, actually. I was wondering how Mrs. Corinthos is holding up. Given that this is the anniversary of losing her husband, I'd presume not well."
"None of your damn business."
"No need to get so defensive, I'm merely posing a question. Trying to make conversation."
"If you don't have anything related to business to discuss, my men will escort you out."
"Oh, but I doubt you will," Cyrus says, laughing evilly. "You'll be too dead to even have the chance to get me out of this room." He takes his gun from his pocket rather dramatically for Jason's taste and aims for him.
Drawing his gun himself, the now mob boss ducks, narrowly missing the bullet before firing his own, missing the other mobster by only a few inches. That was on purpose; a warning shot of sorts. "It never occurred to me," the ponytail clad man continues unaffected, "that you'd be so easy to take out. I mean, really. Your reputation is that you're businesslike and directly to the point, but then you've agreed to several meetings with me alone. I was planning on having some fairly difficult plans to kill you, but you've simply fallen into my lap. I do suppose I feel a bit bad, however, that Mrs. Corinthos will have to deal with you being dead as well."
There's a line you just don't cross in business, and that's been crossed. He remembers his promise to not die and snaps into action. "Fire that gun again and I hit you right between the eyes," Jason warns, setting himself up for his shot.
"I sense I've hit a nerve," Cyrus smiles, "mentioning her like that. Tell me, Mr. Morgan, has it ever occurred to you that you're the reason she even knows about this business? With you gone, I suppose she'll be taking it over. Though I don't doubt her, I do doubt her ability to properly run this business. It's doubtful that she'll even make it a few weeks before she's ki-"
Another warning shot goes from Jason's gun, this one only barely above his head. "Last warning, Cyrus. This isn't a game. She's barely involved in this business and you have no right to bring her up when this fight is between us. So drop the gun and get on the ground."
Chuckling as though he doesn't even really believe that he's about to be taken out, Cyrus stupidly continues, "I'll probably send one of my men to kill her, you know. Try to make it painless out of respect for her."
"Talking about me?" Carly asks, walking in with armed guards. She's got the worst timing.
"Yes I was, Mrs. Corinthos. How are you?"
"I'd be better if you were in a casket six feet under," she answers calmly. "Now, put your gun down before I kill you with my bare hands."
Where the fuck did she learn how to do that? He didn't teach her, neither did Sonny. Who did? Not the point, Carly isn't supposed to be here. She's now got the chance to be shot. That would kill him faster than the bullet wound he feels he could get.
"You heard her," Jason says. "Gun down, on the ground."
Turns out that's what needed to be done. The guards with guns pointed at his head doesn't hurt either, he's sure, but Cyrus finally gets on the ground and drops his gun.
"Good. Get Mrs. Corinthos out of here, now," he orders, to her complaints. "Carly, just go."
"I, personally, have nothing against her being here," Cyrus voices.
"You have no say." When Carly leaves, Jason calmly continues, "You mention her name again in front of me and I'll kill you. Talk about your plan to take me out again and you'll be dead. Nothing is changing. This is your last warning. Next time you try to kill me or someone I care about, you'll be dead quicker than you can even move from the scene. Get out."
Angrily, the ponytail clad man leaves, escorted by the guards. Jason then makes sure everyone knows to make sure there's no evidence of what happened, and that there's especially none Carly was ever there before he joins her in her car.
It's a quiet ride, with him firing off orders for his men and her pouting.
"I was right! He wanted you dead! You fell right into his trap!" She exclaimed when they walked into the living room of her house.
"No I didn't! Carly, I had it all under control!"
"Gun pointed at you, Jason! I walked in and there was a gun pointed at you!"
"I had mine pointed at him too! You can't walk into a gunfight!"
"Oh, but you can start one? You can get shot, I can't? Is that how this works?"
"The only reason you'd be shot in general is because of me, Carly! I introduced you to the business, I'm the reason you and Sonny got together, and I'm the reason you're still apart of it. I can deal with getting myself shot, I've survived other bullets before, but I can't deal with you getting shot!"
"I didn't!"
"Yeah, because I kicked you out of there!"
"I brought the guards, I was safe!"
"You walked into a gunfight when I told you it was the stupid thing to do! I told you not to go but you couldn't help yourself, could you, and you went to the meeting."
"You want me to tell you I was wrong and apologize? I'm not gonna do that! You could've been killed! God knows what Sonny's livelihood status is, but yours is alive. Alive, Jason! I'm not risking you dying, alright?"
"I've survived bullets before, I'd survive this one!"
"How do you know that? I need you to stay alive, so I don't care what your feelings are on the subject and I'm not apologizing! If I had to do it again and it was the only option, I'd go unarmed and alone. I would've been shot if it meant saving you from that! Cyrus wants you dead!"
"I wouldn't be able to live with myself if you died because of me! Your kids need their mother! Cyrus wants you dead too and I'll be damned if I let it happen."
"So what, Jason, you'll do the noble thing and die instead of me? That'll kill me. I couldn't breathe when we thought you were dead last time. Imagine how I'd be if I knew I was the one who caused it!"
"You're not dying!" He shouts back, but there's no edge to his tone anymore. He's less pissed. "Not when it's preventable. You're not getting shot either Carly. If I cause your death, I'll hate myself."
"And you think I won't hate myself if I cause yours?"
To be continued after midnight bc I have thing to add to my blog
Blind Memory
Chapter 3: Something hopeful
The asylum can be creppy yet haunting for the moment you stayed this place for a very long time ago until your sanity will drop out and get used of it as you become one of them which is called insanity. By the echoing noises across the empty halls in the early morning, the door belongs to the Rabbit brothers that they stayed and slept for god knows 9 years. Joen peacefully sleeping his comfy bed after that long hours inside the Box for some reason was his attempt to escape by the psychiatrist and the guards with his outburst, he smiled at his sleep finally had his head rest from the horrific noises, bad odors from his inmates inside their solitary confinement who are in between his cell, lack of comfort of sleep because of his restrained jacket and laying at the rough floor and most of all his hunger.
He haven't been eaten any dinner after his attempt to escape for an hour which he deeply regretted for skipping his meal and not being with his brothers as such. He was in deep tiredness as he heard shouting from his ears causing him to wake up and hurt his eardrum to who ever woke him up this early morning.
Jason: WHITE!!! Wake up!
Leon: its time to wake up White.
Joen groan in annoyance, sit up from his bed slowly with the black rabbit's assistance to carry his body in sitting position and yawn tired, rubbing his eyes before he confronted his younger brothers.
Joen: *groan* Why do we have to wake up so early in the morning?
It is 6:30 am, that is the asylums daily routine to wake up early in the morning and the start of the day. Nothing much actually. The white rabbit lazily stands up from his bed and scratching his head, looking at his brothers together with their own stretches, Helios is still sleeping while Jacob tried to wake the big black and white rabbit besides Leon and Jason fixing their beds.
Leon: White, you should go take a shower first. I could smell you stinking out at your sleep while we snoozing at night.
In all honesty, the black rabbit isn't lying. The white rabbit did in fact smells horrible because of his sweat and tears during his solitary confinement time. Joen rolled his eyes, slowly leading his way to the opened metal door before giving a small fart to make the younger rabbit disgusted from his mischief action and giving the white rabbit a punch at the shoulder causing them to laugh together before he headed to the mens bathroom.
7 am they all went to the canteen where they all lined up in boredom. The Rabbit man felt his stomach growling loudly through his ears with a sigh in annoyance about the fact he haven't eaten for a long hours and he waited impatiently from the line of his inmates are getting their food trays. This place felt like a prison instead of a asylum because when he finally made it to the line, his tray was nothing but less food or anything that he likes. However his oldest brothers told the other 4 to force eat the food that they gave them in their trays because the lunch lady isn't really kind enough to give the patients what they really like or inmates isn't allowed to sneak inside the asylums kitchen to steal food. He hated about this and went to his brothers same table they hang out together.
Eating just a small portion of vegetables, meat and a single apple at the corner of his tray, to his brothers have different foods they get but the portion of their food is less like he had except his brother Jason who was a bowl of cereal and suger for some reason. Forcing himself to eat like he didn't mind because he likes food yet the asylum canteen is worse then the school canteen when he and his brothers are just young cotton balls.
They aren't allow to go back to their cells instead all the patients will either go to their own routine, some has a schedule for their therapy section. For Joen, he has one, he couldn't just skip to meet his same psychiatrist since the guards in this place is well secure and much stronger then him when he outburst his rage toward his psychiatrist or his attempt to escape out of struggle. As for his brothers, the brown rabbit is actually been to the same routine, Jacob did been to the Box multiple times but not mostly then Joen's. Helios has been restrained like Joen to prevent him to go crazy from the hallucinations that haunts him and often go to a room which they didn't know or explore that room, Leon however been out of reality at the same chair and table with yellow flower that he pluck it out making a huge mess while singing weirdly or doing scary pranks at patients, doctors, guards or anyone except for his brothers. Although his youngest brother Jason, the gray rabbit has been to the Box for just 2 or 3 times then the white rabbit and the brown rabbit.
They all had their own daily routine, the Rabbit's psychiatrist will be here soon and he had time to go any therapy section that is available. Two rooms that he enjoyed, one was the music room which is mostly what he and the 5 Rabbit brothers was most talented. He always be there to practice dancing his own dance moves with inspiration from his brothers, singing vocally and mostly writing his own song with his own head, he is a very intelligent rabbit man he is. Speaking of intelligent, the other room he always went were the puzzle room to test the patients intelligence. Books, puzzles experiments, and interesting education is just what Joen like the most. Being the smartest rabbit from his brothers, he likes to have a common everyday questions. He may be a mentally unstable rabbit man but he is still the most smartest one of the asylum.
Hours later, the speaker called his name echoing through the halls with Joen jolt his head with a twitch then sigh as he get off from his chair and left the room grumpily walking through his way to his favorite (hated) psychiatrist to her office. Hours later of argument talk to his psychiatrist, it is almost night time with his brothers going back to their cell to rest. Joen came in the room with just 3 of his brothers, he knew his brother Jason will always be the last one to came back to the room. The white rabbit take a deep breath before yawning by tiredness again due that he is still tired from the lack of full sleep. Before he could went to his bed, he heard something from the outside of the door through the halls.
Joen look back at the door window and take a peak at the window door to see what it is.
Tumblr media
A sound of metal wheels squeaking, loud multiple foot steps walking through the empty hallow halls that some screaming and shouting at the distance, a quiet faint sobbing that sounds almost like a little girl crying. He look closely seeing the shadows of many people coming to pass his cell as the people revealed was doctors and nurses behind the new patient while one big guard carrying a type of stroller that has chains and a strapped little girl crying with her head down.
Walking almost pass his cell, the little girl has black, long hair in a messy pigtails and a white bandage around her face to cover her eyes when she raise her head and look at Joen's door with her wet face and a soaked bandage from her eyes as if she has been crying for hour. The Rabbit man could make out what she looks like behind the bandage covering her eyes and the people who carried a mysterious new patient girl carried her to her cell. Curiosity lead to some sort of feeling, that's what he felt when a new patient came to this place, he became pity from them if they are stuck in this place for a life how long will she last long.
Jason: White?
Joen heard his brother called him from behind and turn his head to see his brother.
Jason: its time to bed.
Joen: yeah Gray, I'll be on my bed for a moment.
He soon went to his bed with his hand rubbing into his face as he groan. He had a long day of a never ending boredom from the asylum. No fun or anything new for him to see, he still thinking about the amusement park he used to have along with the circus. Yup, he still missed his old times at the amusement park where he entertained, cheer, do magic tricks and things that he loves, food which he made and his favorites that he want to devoured for his greedy stomach after that long starvation when he is finally release and lastly..... He missed his time with his brothers together with a song they all make for the longest time as a family together in one house.
Unfortunately, the asylum has become his home too..... That he loves and hated so much. Joen loves to wear all white straightjacket that is so crazy which reminds him of his crazy ringmaster suit that doesn't fit him anymore. He likes to keep the straightjacket after he release him but if they doesn't allow him to keep it then he must make one for himself, actually he doesn't know how to draw his own straightjacket design that he likes, his time at the music room and the puzzle room where he boost up his talent in the highest level in the past 9 years and mostly that one friend who is now release 3 years ago.
However, what he hates is everything. Torture, restrainment, lack of proper food and sleep and the people who put him into the Box, the horrible smell, the disgusting inmates beside his Box, the noises that he wanted to block his ears and most of all loneliness. He hates being alone at the Box where he is unable to call for his brothers that he needed them the most from the intense mental breakdown for hours for christ sake!
He said goodnight to each of his brothers as they said goodnight in return before forcing them to swallow a single sleeping pill to knock them out to slumber. Joen was in deep sleep opening his eyes to his dreamscape nonetheless this isn't his....
Joen look around his dream and it felt something wrong about this dream. This dream isn't his, the dream revealed a location that he never went there at all. The place in his dream was some sort of school, a huge school and he is standing at the middle of a open spaces. He started walking around the huge school with strong curiosity and excitement, this may not be his school that he used to enrolled but this dream just told him to explore the place.
He went around, up and down, reading articles and some books can be found in classrooms, the calendar even wrote the same year and date, rooms he could look around, he teleported to return to where he had started, then lastly he is going to explore the huge stage outside the open space of the school where he just first standing. He look around the stage first then ended to the right side of the stage with stone stairs, he get into the first step of the stone stairs until he heard a soft humming song at the stage. He didn't look up until he step by step through the stairs then stop where he was going, there is someone at the stage seeing just right infront of him with her back showing, she looks familiar to him.
There is a girl in a white dress, black long hair in pigtails and there is a bandage around her but couldn't make out her face because he is behind her.
Joen: hello?
He said giving a stranger a small greeting to caught her attention. Did he saw this person before?
Tumblr media
She flinch from behind that someone is here in this lonely place, she turn around slowly to meet the rabbit man behind her with her bandage covering her eyes. Joen was surprised to see the girl turn her face to him. This is the same girl he just saw at the halls, the new inmate.
To be continue.....
A few hours (and ice cream cones) later, Donna leaves to go to the Q's to play with Wiley and Ophelia. "I finally found a dress. It took three stores and way too many dresses that fit like crap but I've found one and I'm ready for the Ball tomorrow," Carly says excitedly when she finds him in the park. "I ditched the guards hours ago."
Of course she did. He rolls his eyes. She's going to get kidnapped again or something as a part of some new competitors revenge on him and she ditches guards. The mob is not a friendly business but leave it to her to forget that, less than six months after her kidnapping and rape. Only Carly. "Stop ditching guards."
"Well I've got you to protect me," she argues, smiling. When his expression doesn't change, she relents, "Fine. I'll take the guards when I'm not with you."
"Thank you," he says. "Donna's with Wiley and Ophelia at the mansion."
"So long as Nina's not there, I'm fine with it." Not this again. "Don't roll your eyes or tell me to play nice, Jason! She wants me arrested and she's acting like Nelle wasn't a terrible person! I don't care if she's Wiley's other grandmother."
Sometimes, Carly's exhausting to deal with.
He rolls his eyes again as she rests her head on his shoulder. "You know, Joss has been complaining lately she's feeling stuck in Port Charles. Which is stupid but it reminded me that I've never taken her to Florida, or any of the kids besides Michael and now I want to. So you coming with me or am I bringing guards?"
The last time they went to Florida, Michael was barely one. It was to officially bury Virginia and it was a very bittersweet experience to see Florida for the first time and also be packing up the house of a dead woman.
"Who exactly are you bringing?" Carly cheers when he agrees to go without agreeing fully.
"Donna, clearly. And I'll bring Joss and, do you think that Ava will let me bring Avery? Michael should go too, he spends way too much time cooped up in that house or at Aurora, so him, Willow, Wiley and Ophelia. Ooh, you should bring your kids! Scout and Danny will have fun in Florida and I'm sure Jake would love it. Well, of course, that involves Elizabeth letting you take him. Maybe if we bring Cameron too- well actually, no, that won't work because him and Joss broke up a few weeks ago and it's still way too raw for her. I'd suggest we bring Dante but he broke Lulu's heart so that's a big no, I don't care if he's my children's brother. Should we bring Brando and Sasha?"
She's rambling excitedly about this trip that seems to double in size each minute and he chuckles to himself at the absurdity of it. Somehow, within five minutes, Carly's built herself an entire vacation to Florida. Complete with exactly when they should go ("The third week in June! It shouldn't be too rainy or humid yet,") and how long they should stay (a week, she's decided). This woman owns an island and insists on going to Florida for a week so her kids can see her old home.
Before he can figure out what's happening, someone has taken him hostage, his hands inexplicably behind his back and he notices that another one of the surprise humans has taken Carly hostage. Fuck. No. He can't fight this guy, somehow he's too strong. And he can't reach for his gun because he's got his hands tied behind his back! Which means she's getting kidnapped and so is he.
Of course, the same thing is happening to Carly, but the dude who grabbed her is underestimating her gravely. She's got enough sense to try and kick him in the balls (so that's why she always wears heels) before settling for a good slap or two to wherever she can reach moments before her hands are tied as well.
He's basically fucked. And so is she.
"Let me go or so help me god-" Carly threatens before they put a gag in her mouth which she does her best to spit out. Fucking hell, these people are terrible.
"Let her go," he demands, feet unrooting themselves from the ground as he desperately tries to break out of this hold.
"How sweet, he's willing to sacrifice himself for his girlfriend. Touching, truly. Not going to work, however, Morgan. Enough of the touching goodbye, you better stop fighting if you want to see her alive again," his goon threatens. This guy sounds like one of Cyrus's old guys. Cyrus is behind this. Which means-
Carly comes to the conclusion at the same time he does and spits out her gag (impressive). "You better have a damn good excuse for this."
The goons don't even bother threatening them, they just drag them apart and Jason gets dropped in the back of some truck before he gets knocked out. His last conscious thought is where the hell Carly is and where he's going.
A few hours later, he wakes up, disgusted by the surroundings he's found himself in. He's handcuffed to a chair with his legs and his hands. And there's no blonde in here with him, he realizes. At the very least, he senses that they haven't took his jacket off or phone or gun from him. "Good, you're awake." Who's voice is that? He recognizes it from somewhere.
"Where is she?" He asks instead of worrying about his own surroundings.
"Your concern for her is really quite touching, but your girlfriend is fine," the dude says again, yet another voice he remembers but can't trace.
"She's not my girlfriend."
"Sure, you just sleep together, live together and act like a married couple. Oh, wait, is she your wife? That would make more sense," the voice says. Who's voice is that? It's on the tip of his mind but he can't remember.
"Very funny. We're not married. Now, tell me, where the hell is Carly?"
"Calm your tits," that's a stupid expression, "she's being well taken care of. Let yourself worry about you for a minute, please. Your relationship with her is..."
"None of your business. I need proof she's okay." Why the hell aren't his demands being met? Who is this?
"Protective, how sweet. Answer the question."
"She's my best friend," he answers calmly. "Got any more questions or do I get proof she's okay and alive?"
"You don't sleep with a best friend, Jason." Shut up, they're not labelling things and this has nothing to do with the damn kidnapping!
"And who are you to judge us?" Mouthing off to a kidnapper, great idea.
"Me? I'm just the messenger. Don't shoot the messenger."
What the fuck is this dude getting at? He's speaking in goddamn riddles of sarcasm. "Where is Carly?"
"Well, that's none of your business." This man is absolutely infuriating. He's a douche and dead the second he gets to his gun. Or, really, anything that can be used as a weapon. Maybe even a pair of handcuffs. Kill him with handcuffs, yeah, that'll work after he finds Carly's location out.
"If so much as a hair on her head is harmed-"
"Your threats are in vain, though your concern for her is adorable. Tell me, do you expect you're calling the shots here? You're not, dumbass. I am. Well, technically my boss, but you know what I mean." Infuriating.
"You lay a hand on her and-"
"Are you going to keep threatening me? You're the one tied up to a chair, not me. I can move whenever I want to, you cannot." Bile pools in his stomach at the thought of someone's hands on her, hurting her. Causing her pain. Doing what Cyrus did to her again, as often as they please because he can't save her. "But, for your information, no one's gotten handsy with her yet."
How relieving. "Keep it that way."
"You know, she keeps talking about you like you're some damn superhero. To be honest, I don't see it. You're so in sync though, she's worried one of us are going to hurt your pretty boy face."
"Careful, you don't want to show all of your cards at once," Jason teases. It's probably a bad idea but Carly's kidnapped too and he can't get out on his own dammit.
"Keep mouthing off and I'll make sure she's beaten up good. Bruised so bad it won't go away for months."
That's a damn good threat, he's got to admit.
Clearly enjoying his silence, this dude continues, "Your only chance of getting to her is playing by my rules. Then again, she's been mouthing off to us the whole time we've had her. Stubborn brat, that one is. She won't let anyone even give her food, she's just been saying that you'll save her because it's how you two work." That's his girl. He can't help but smile at the thought of her talking the ears off of a kidnapper. He might talk the dude into letting her go. "You two are adorably in sync, her fighting us using your name as though you're a hero. Tell me, what did you ever do that made her think of you as her hero?"
"I guess I've just always been there to save her," he answers. Looking the kidnapper in the eyes, he continues, "and I always will, no matter the consequences."
"Cute. Your whole hero thing is cute and I think it's adorable that you both love each other so much. She's already about to kill us if it means she'll get a single piece of information on her big hero who always saves her."
Sounds like Carly. "If that's supposed to surprise me, it doesn't. I've known her so long nothing she can do surprises me."
"And you love her enough you'll do anything for her. Touching, really. Never have I ever had the pleasure of having two hostages who are so helplessly in love with each other like you two are, yet they're apparently only friends. Tell me, is there anything you wouldn't be willing to do for her, if it meant she'd be freed?"
"No."
"Good, good to know. I think we're ready to discuss the terms of your mutual release, because she's pissing my guy off so much he's had to get a little handsy." Name, address, the whole nine yards. The second he gets them, that dude dies. "Calm down, it was only once. She won't even scar."
"The terms," he spits out in an attempt to control his anger. This is infuriating.
"In exchange for your mutual release, you will give approximately fifteen million dollars to my boss." Who the hell needs that much money? Whatever. If she's free, he'll do near anything.
"I don't have my checkbook on me right now, but I can make that deal." Donna. How is she dealing with this? He suspects he's been gone long enough now that she's been able to understand what's going on.
"Good. You will make a check for fifteen million dollars to Miss Fiona Svlankovich," the hostage holder says, handing his checkbook to him.
"Wait. This seems too easy."
"It's not, I assure you. Fiona's a bit of an evil lady, but when she says she'll set you free after you do something, you and your “best friend” will be released," he informs him. A bit of an evil lady? She's a lot more than a bit evil.
"I can't exactly sign this with my hands tied behind my back," he says calmly.
"Shit," the hostage holder mutters. "I'll uncuff one of your arms, but only because you don't have any weapons on you." Idiot. He can feel his gun in his pocket as he gets uncuffed and signs the check.
Before he can be recuffed, he pulls out his gun and fires a single bullet into the dude's leg. "Tell me where Carly is or I'll take you out right now."
"On a date or in a murderous way?"
What type of fucking question is that? "Murder. So, her location."
"Someone's horny," kidnapping dude chuckles before he gets punched. "Fine, fine. She's somewhere in this house. You figure out where, that's up to you. So, you gonna kill me now?"
"Thinking about it. You take me to exactly where she is, right now," Jason answers, gun trained at this hostage dude.
Without a witty remark, he gets led the way to Carly. Conveniently, she's screaming at that exact moment, "He will find me and you will die. I hope you look forward to death because he's been getting me out of messes for longer than you've been alive."
She's tied up in a pantry, he notes before kicking the door open. "I swear to fucking god-" she starts before noticing he's there and tearing up. "Oh thank god you're here."
Unceremoniously, her guards pull out their guns and he shoots them both before shooting his own guard, Carly yelping each time. She's not a fan of the sound of a gun going off, nor kidnapping, so he doubts this is fun for her.
He makes quick work of getting her uncuffed and she falls into him, embracing him in a tight hug and burying her face in his neck as he does the same. "I knew you'd save me," she says and he can feel her tears soaking his shirt, but it's okay. He's got extras at home (and, of course, the clothes she bought a few months ago).
"We've got to get out of here," he mutters and she pulls away, tears of joy and relief still flowing down her face.
A few minutes (and dead bodies) later, they make it out of the weird ass mansion they're stuck in. Now, of course, the big issue is how the fuck they get out of here. There's no cars he can see.
"I don't want to walk but I will," Carly says, frowning as she looks at her disgusting outfit. "I liked this outfit too."
To be continued hopefully after this headache clears up
