what fandoms do you write for?
At the moment it's just Good Omens, but there's been a lot of Dragon Age, some Lord of the Rings, and way back in the day there was Harry Potter and a lot of anime. I am toying with dipping my toe back in LotR, there's a thing I wrote ages ago that's entirely finished and just needs editing and I've been meaning to get it out there for ages. It's long though, so that'd be a commitment.

Yep! Sometimes just with "Thanks!" or hearts but I try to. Though they get away from me sometimes and then I do a bunch all at once.
What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Definitely Warmaiden, which is my "What if Éowyn got the One Ring?" fic, from an idea that occurred to me one day and wouldn't leave. Clearly that doesn't end well for her, or anyone. From GO fandom it's probably Silent Night, which I still want to expand into a larger fic to be a set with Give Me Your Illusions. Someday, someday.
What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Most of them! But for the happiest I'd say Swan Lake Revised, cowritten with @mostlyjustgoose. And if we ever get part three up it'll be even more happy. And smutty. Very smutty.
Do you get hate on fics?
Very rarely. I've been lucky there.
Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Oh here's the irony. I used to do a lot a lot a LOT of online roleplaying and mygod I wrote smut. So much. So. Much. I don't do as much rp these days but even so the threads I have going are still frequently pure filth. But in fic, much less so, even though I want to. Why it all gets channeled into rp and not as much into my fanfic I do not know. Honestly I want to write a lot more of it. Smut forever!!
Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Sometimes, when I have a good idea. But the craziest one I ever wrote, ages ago, was a pure crackfic for my 21st birthday, where I imagined a bizarre party for myself in which LOADS of fictional characters (mostly from anime) showed up so I could make them interact in wacky ways. It was utterly ridiculous but amused me. Making all the characters voiced by Megumi "She's Everywhere!!" Hayashabara meet up and wonder why they all sound alike, for example. Also I wish I'd written an Artemis Fowl breaks into Gringotts to rob it fic before I became so disillusioned with both Artemis Fowl and Harry Potter. Heigh ho.
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Yep. It was impressive how lazy the person was about it too, they stole all the html as well. Someone brought it to my attention pretty quickly.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
Twice, yes. Into Portuguese, as I remember.

Hi @mostlyjustgoose, I adore you, please co-write things with me forever. <3 Our baby is Unusual Strings, a reverse omens AU love story, and it's SO. CLOSE. to being done. So close. Aughhhh. I love our angel!Crowley and demon!Aziraphale so, so much.
What’s your all time favorite ship?
Aziraphale and Crowley, Faramir and Éowyn, Hiccup and Astrid. Don't make me choose between those three, my head will explode.
What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Shut up shut up I will finish all of them ALL OF THEM I SAY…sigh. Beauty and the Battousai. Though I should probably mention A Demon in the Dreaming and The Queen Bee. (they're plotted and outlined and parts are written aaahhh come on ADHD meds help me out here)
What are your writing strengths?
Dialogue, definitely. I'm good at putting humour into things. Got compared to Patricia Wrede once and honestly, life goal achieved there. I can do memorable phrases and descriptions and edit well.
What are your writing weaknesses?
What is plot. Why does it hate me. Why are my original characters one-dimensional cardboard. What is worldbuilding and how do I do it without getting stalled into paralysis. Baaaah. This is why my original novel will never be finished and I keep running back to fanfic instead.
Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
Hoo boy contentious subject! I love reading it so long as it's translated somewhere in the footnotes, I'd be happy to write it if I knew other languages, the question of whether it should be italicized or not has apparently Officially been settled by The Publishing Industry on the side of Not.
First fandom you wrote for?
Oh gosh I think it was the Dragonlance books by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. The first that ever got shown to other people was Ranma 1/2 though.
Favorite fic you’ve written?
It's still What Custom Strictly Divided. Though Unusual Strings comes very close.

I'm a sucker for a happy ending, so this is much harder to answer! I am avoiding answering this with the obvious innuendo haha. Maybe In Any Life? I feel like the vibe of that last chapter is so very soft, with a spring breeze blowing through the window in the house Fenris and Maria made together c:

I've gotten some snarky comments, but never outright hate (thankfully!)

Yes--not sure what is meant by "kind." M/F and F/F--soft and gentle, hard and fast, mildly kinky, plot-relevant and pwp, etc. A variety of smut, haha.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
Not really. Crossovers aren't really my jam, but if I wrote one it would probably be Inquisition characters in Mass Effect (like a genre switch thing, not picked up and dropped into our solar system).
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
When I was like 13 on FF.net, yes. It's why I stopped writing fic until I was 28.

Not that I know of!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Only in a sense! I have a few pieces sharing an OC with a friend that were largely rp first before I set them down as a narrative c:
14. What's your all time favorite ship?
God. Don't ask me this haha. My first DA ship was Fenris/Hawke and it still lives so closed to my heart, but Cullen/Lavellan got me into the fandom and Zevran/Tabris brought me someone very dear to me. I don't think I could ever judge any of them by the merits of the ship alone at this point!
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Hmmm more than I'd like to admit :/ Probably The Red Crossing Arrangement, which is an arranged marriage/Halamshiral still belongs to the elves AU. It took so much more world building that my ability to write it slowly petered out. The odds are high that it will remain at roughly 80k for the foreseeable future (unless I suddenly want to get back to working out trade routes and governance and commerce, which is what did me in; I'm good at world-building culture on account of the degree and all, but the semantics of daily life don't really interest me as much)
(tragically, this means the Adalene and Elandrin fix-it portions of this story may never be published :C and this does honestly make me so sad :C)
16. What are your writing strengths?
Voice and characterization/internal dialogue. I've been told that the canon characters I write feel very similar to canon and that's something I'm really proud of c:
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Physical space. I forget to define the setting very, very frequently. It's the next thing I want to focus on in my writing, actually, when I get back into it!
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
Eh. I think it can add flavor, especially in fantasy settings where the cultures and worlds are built dissimilarly to the real world. I don't think there's anything especially fun about not being able to discern what's happening in conversation---I think it's most effective when it's a handful of phrases that repeat (hello, I'm sorry, I love you, etc.) or when followed by a translation of some sort.
As a lover of Latin, I especially find google translations very unreliable and often incorrect. Better to just italicize it and indicate it's another language, imo.

Oof. It depends on when you ask me this haha. For the moment, I think I'm loving As Two Reflected Stars a little extra right now c: I just love wound-tending and idiots in love and this is definitely both!

1. How many works do you have on AO3?
on my current account i have 154. being unemployed and hypomanic during lockdown will do that to you.
2. What is your AO3 wordcount?
895,907. i can't tell if that's a normal distribution for my fic count or not.
3. What fandoms do you write for?
at the moment: silent hill, bloodborne, and pathologic. most of what i have up there is for pathologic. i've got other fandoms up there though.

i've responded to most comments i've gotten, though it's always months late because i tend to read the e-mail first thing in the morning, head to work, and completely forget to respond. responding feels more personal. i know i'd be more likely to comment on someone's fics if i knew they appreciated it, so i try to make the effort, even if i struggle to know what to say.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
god this is old as hell but probably life in technicolor/the end of all things. they're life is strange style aus for one punch man and genos dies at the end of one of them, and at the end of the other the city is destroyed. the fics are connected, but i won't say how.
7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
so tired, so tired, my heart and i (pathologic) is probably the sappiest i've ever written a fic so i'm guessing that one!
8. Do you get hate on fics?
occasionally. i got transmisogynist hate for when you finally get inovlved, face to face for writing chihiro as a trans girl, and it made me stop writing for danganronpa altogether. i got a guest user on some burakhovsky nsfw i posted (idr which one) who said "jesus christ, tag your trans shit". and someone who went off on me years ago called vita in motu (pathologic) "borderline mpreg" and they very much meant it derogatorily. so if i seem a lil paranoid about interacting w people there's a reason why lol.
9. Do you write smut? If so, which kind?
i do! i actually write more smut than i post because i am not showing everyone my oc/canon smut. like some friends will be able to see it but i'm not brave enough to show the whole world that. also a lot of au smut recently that has no context and i'm not posting it to ao3 without context.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest crossover you’ve ever written?
i did moreso in the past than currently. we're not gonna talk about the craziest one though<3 love and light

nah. i've had people write fic very inspired by stuff i've written but not copy-and-paste stolen, to my knowledge

people have asked but as far as i know it never happened. always thought it would be cool!

a rebel without a case rewrite that i started because i wanted to fix what i saw as timing issues in the film.
an akira/mob psycho 100... crossover? au? both? i had some real ideas for that one but it's not going anywhere
a silent hill au for mob psycho 100 that apprently someone was interested in enough to try and make their own while referencing mine. it was an audience participation fic and i'm honestly upset that i lost steam on this one because it was a lot of fun!
a magnus archives statement from artemy burakh. the idea behind that one was that he saw daniil die, and then be replaced by another actor... but artemy's the only one who noticed the different actor.
literally dozens of pathologic fics that i have started like you have no idea just how much i have started for that stupid game.
16. What are your writing strengths?
i'm not sure! my partner says i do vagueness well, and the unease that comes with that. i think i do decent at introspection in general
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
action for sure. i tend to do better with thought than with action, so i can write really long scenes where absolutely nothing hapens. kind of an issue!
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
i don't really do it because i only know like...extremely basic german and i feel it'd be a disservice to other languages to just google translate. i will occasionally describe characters using sign, but again... not knowing it, i don't feel comfortable just saying shit, you know?
19. First fandom you wrote for?
i wrote something like fanfic as a like, eight year old? for a book series i can no longer remember. but for first published fanfic it was either bones or soul eater. those fics might still be out there, who knows!
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
i don't really have one! i'm still really proud of o tempora, o mores (pathologic), vita in motu (pathologic), and my mind has changed my body's frame (bloodborne) <- less sure of that one bc not much feedback but y'know!

1. How many works do you have on AO3?
I have 22 works on ao3!
2. What is your AO3 wordcount?
237,770 words and counting :))
3. What fandoms do you write for?
I have written for a few things over the past few years, but right now I am writing pretty exclusively for Resident Evil, though I do have a Call of Duty fic in progress that might see the light someday.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
(Im going to go with only Resident Evil ones because i said so)
1) what are you willing to sacrifice for peace? - my Vendetta fic! also the start of my connected chreon series
2) Please Don't Leave Me - a Leon sickfic I haven't gotten around to finishing yet lmaoooo (also part of the chreon series)
3) in my dreams, we're far away from here - part two of the chreon series, a 3+1 with carrying as the theme :))
4) When I need you, you're always there - another part of the chreon series, Leon has a nightmare
5) all it takes is a snap - my singular whumptober fic with hurt Leon haha (chreon ofc)
None of my newer fics are getting traction but thats okay! gonna enlighten as many people to the hurt Chris agenda

I try to! i sometimes am busy and forget to, but if i see one i usually comment back!

To be fair, I haven't killed anyone off yet. All my fics end happy because my poor heart can't take a bad ending.

I haven't yet, but I don't get too much engagement anyway. I don't think I have had the opportunity to get any. Haven't gotten any hate here either.

I do!! I used to not, but now that I kind of know how it's done, I've been experimenting and practicing. Most of my fics nowadays have sex scenes in them (or multiple) but i have written a pure smut fic.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest crossover you’ve ever written?
I haven't! I'm not the biggest fan of crossovers and often avoid reading them because I'm not interested. Doesn't mean they're bad though. Just not my thing.

I hope not! Not that I'm aware of at least.

I have not (though if you wanna, please ask! I'm very open to it)

Yes, I have! I am actually in a roleplay server and have a writing partner. We have been turning many an rp in a fic for you guys! Like I can't escape this now, unless you show me how (mine and @leon-thot-kennedy 's re 5 chreon au)
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
CHREON!!! I have liked a lot of ships from other fandoms, but chreon is without a doubt my favorite Resident Evil ship as well as all around ship. Other ships are just fine but chreon is my OTP, the source of all happiness in my life.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Oh definitely Please Don't Leave Me. I have an outline and a plan and everything, just haven't had the juice to write hurt Leon nowadays. I hope to come back to it though!!!
16. What are your writing strengths?
I don't actually know haha. No one has told me anything, but I like to think I do suspense fairly well? Not as good as other people but I'm still learning! This year marks my fourth year of writing though so that's exciting :))
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Definitely balancing dialogue, action, and internal thoughts. I always have too much of one of those. Also I tend to reuse phrases or sentence structure and I need to learn to spice it up a little lmaoo
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I think writing dialogue in another language is perfectly fine. Especially if the character speaks another language. You just have to be aware that not everyone will understand what is being said. But if it's essential to the plot, saying that they said it in another language works too.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Star Trek (2009) or the reboot movies lmao. It's funny, I started out not shipping anyone, but then started to ship Jim and Bones. But then I watched the original series and shipped Spirk in the old series. So I actually think that this was my first foray into shipping men together. Haven't been the same since hehehehe.
I was into Star Trek for about a year and a half! longest to date and I would say it was my first true hyperfixation. Resident Evil is creeping up on length though haha.
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
Favorite fic is hard but I actually REALLY like I can't escape this now, unless you show me how . It's my baby, my magnum opus. The best thing I have had a hand in creating (even if only half of it is mine). For fics that are purely mine, The Stars Were Out was the most fun to write with the forest and stuff. Was kind of experimental but it was fun to try and describe things a little better and draw out the scenes.

THG. I’ve been writing in it for ten years (RP before fic), and I much rather go into publishing before I move to any other fanfiction tbh.
4-What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

5-Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Absolutely! I try to, at least! Sometimes I get so excited about a comment that I’ll leave it in my inbox for a few days just to get excited again. Especially with my first fic that is very niche in this fandom, I get insanely happy about the fact that people are interested in it enough that they comment on it.
6-What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
This is hard, as I’ve only really written two works. Burning bright comes the closest, even if the final sentence is more a relief than anything, but it is mysterious throughout. Depending on who readers think the stranger outside is, the entire story can either be very angsty or not angsty at all.
7-What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
SSLWR is technically not finished as it has a second longfic coming up, but it ends on a very happy note. I’ve had THE urge™ throughout the fic and even while planning to kill Virgilia off as a repeated circle notion, but it’s breaking the circle that is so vital.
Even if she has succeeded in finding out the truth about the past wife (a mystery from the first chapter onward!), educated herself about our past, and found actual love that exists/is not a fairytale, it’s still not a character journey over.
If anything, characters—and on a meta level people—like her deserve a happy ending. Even if just to show that there’s the chance to do a 180, no matter the situation. (Doesn’t mean the horrors aren’t awaiting her though 😊)
8-Do you get hate on fics?
No, and I’m kinda? Surprised lol? Like maybe it’s just that niche that you’d only click on it if you are at least semi-interested, but with the heavy subject matter I had expected some people being very critical of the content—the whole debate what belongs and doesn’t belong in (fan)fiction.
9-Do you write smut? If so what kind?
Sort of? SSLWR included a smut scene in ‘Queenside’. It was very flowery, though. So, yes, but it’s not a very descriptive scene. I wanted to stay true to V’s character and focus more-so on the emotional inner thoughts and meaning of having this moment.
That said, of course this isn't the last time they will do it, especially with the next longfic including more romantic couplings, but I don't see the purpose of writing them out. The before and after seems much more important, so if I end up wanting to write it again, it will be similar to the first moment in what it did and did not mention.
10-Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
Not in fanfiction, but I’ve done a lot of AUs for Caesar and Virgilia in RP context.
Caesar has really been in any kind of popular media from the past decade to roleplay with people’s characters there. He’s been a Tyrell in ASOIAF, and he’s been a former show host in TLOU-like verses. My most used one is a modern AU where he lives in NYC as a late night host.
As for Virgilia, it’s been much fewer and I don’t really set her in other media anymore. But she has several modern verses, among those one where she grew up in a FLDS-like cult and escaped eventually.

14-What's your all-time favorite ship?
I don’t really do ships outside of the ones I have; which are Caesar/Cinna, Cressida/Fulvia, and Virgilia/Plutarch. I also have two ships with my rp partner, @beedelia. The first is Caesar/Bedelia Du Maurier from H.annibal, and the second is the sole victor I'm shipping Caesar with; a middle aged victor from 7 who lost his eyesight in the arena.
15-What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
I only have one more WIP planned and it’s going to take some time, but I have confidence in it being finished. I do have some loose ideas about writing some one shots that detail more on tertiary characters, such as Paylor, but it’s nothing more than an idea. Would be in the same style as Tigris' one shot, so it's more a "once I really start, I don't think it will be abandoned".
16-What are your writing strengths?
I think I’m a good character writer. It’s a given coming from RP, but I think I can breathe life into the characters I write, and give them good story arcs. With Virgilia especially, I’m always baffled that people say they like her character or liked her journey, so I’d say that’s working quite well for me writing wise.
17-What are your writing weaknesses?
That I take a long time and overthink everything. I want my first draft to be really good, so I cannot settle for okay. I rewrite sentence and am generally slow because I want what’s coming out on the blank screen to be good. It doesn’t help that—obviously—I’m no native speaker, so my sentence structure or vocabulary is never going to be the best; I feel like both are fairly repetitive. I do try to use Merriam Webster a lot to spice it up, but it can only help so much.
I’m also not sure how I’m doing pacing wise. Coming from RP, I was used a lot more to, say, 200-500 word replies where I was writing short scenes with someone else. Pacing was never a question here. But I feel like I’ve improved on this ever since I started writing longer stories.
18-Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
It doesn’t happen in Panem, anyhow. As @bodyelectric77 has said, some headcanon that Spanish is spoken in District 4, but I don’t believe that the fascist government would want to keep any other language than English in its country, because it makes surveillance so much harder.
But for a more general approach: I find it unnecessary. If the character doesn’t speak the language, then it’s essentially just a blank for them. Why should they know what the other is saying? If they do speak that language, then don’t build on the reader being able to speak it (or being bothered to look it up. Why do I need google translate for a fic, grr!). Just give me indirect dialogue then (“He said XYZ in Spanish”).

Harry Potter back when I was 12 or so. Both in RP and fanfiction.
20-Favorite fic you've ever written?
She smelled like white roses. It’s my passion project. Though I’ve got a feeling that Birds of the Capitol (current WIP) is going to be my magnum opus in a way. Really encapsulating 10+ years of writing (RP/fanfiction) in this fandom. I’m excited, scared, nervous, thrilled. Everything.

3. What fandoms do you write for? I write for a lot of different fandom because I like to write one or two pieces for every show/movie/manga/anime I enjoy. These days it's mainly BLs and Naruto.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? I do respond to every comments or close to it, usually with a few days/weeks delay. I like to get replies to comments, so I give them out too. Usually the reply matches the length of the comment. I like this link with the readers and I want them to know I'm out there haha.
6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Probably These Violent Delights Have Violent Ends since it's a Malec Romeo & Juliet AU... Slightly different ending but still terrible.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Most of my fics have happy endings since they're just one shot of people being happy after all the angst. But I guess it would be Ending, Beginning since the whole point is to write my ideal happy Naruto epilogue.
8. Do you get hate on fics? Not consistently. I've had a few repeated offenders on Naruto fics and the occasional not very polite comment, but nothing major.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Not at all, I never have. It usually fades to black, or it's very tame. Like sex does happen in some of my fics but it's never explicit.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written? The only proper crossover I did was Stranger Things x X-Men with Eleven attending the Institute.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? I have, someone started to post Flip the Coin on ff.net at some point without mentioning me anywhere. Was warned by a reader. There is also an audio version of it in spanish on youtube for some reason, I never went to the bottom of that...
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Yes, a few! Mostly some Malec stuff in Russian, and some Spanish too. And I translated some of my own fics myself between French and English.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? No, never. Did some RP though does it count.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship? The ship of my heart is Naruto n Sasuke 4ever, otherwise my faves vary.
15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? The one I'm most torn over is Start Digging because I was really into it and had quite a bunch planned, but the fandom deserted my heart for some reason. If I get back into MHA I might pick it up, but so much happened since then... Otherwise I don't write a lot of multi-chaptered fics and I tend to write one shots in one go and post them immediately so I don't have that many WIPs.
16. What are your writing strengths? Big Feels I think? And emotional dialogues. That's what I enjoy anyway.
17. What are your writing weaknesses? Fight scenes because I hate them. And also I feel like my vocabulary is not very varied since English is not my first language, sometimes I have the impression that I use the same words ten times in one fic...
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? I do it if the other is not supposed to understand it, I like it. But I only ever did it with language I had a grasp on, it would feel strange to just google trad some stuff. If I can't and it's not that relevant I would just put "they said something in that language" or something like that.
19. First fandom you wrote for? Weirdly enough it was the manga/anime Get Backers. I went on a deep dive in search of this fic since I deleted it from my ff.net account a long time ago, and thus abandoned this post for several days, but I can't find it sadly. It was a self-insert.
20. Favorite fic you've written? I like my work a lot and reread it frequently. The ones I enjoy the most vary with time, but I have to say Flip the Coin for the sheer size and work that went into it and the audience it got. A true accomplishment in my book :)

Thanks for the tag, @thotpuppy! I've been thinking about this off and on the last couple of days. I really do enjoy this sort of thing, both reading others and making my own. Blank after the cut.
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
135. 23 of which are drabbles
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
354,120 total, all since the beginning of 2020
3. What fandoms do you write for?
The big ones are Teen Wolf and Black Jewels., but I also write Perilous Courts and The Hollows, along with some other assorted SFF book fandoms. I have a lot of Men's Hockey RPF fics, but rarely revisit the fandom. Spideypool's another fandom I fell out of at some point.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Tell Me No Lies (Spideypool, 5k. Explicit, grocery store meet-cute)

I try to respond, but sometimes it takes me a while, especially when I have a lot I want to say.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Probably it kind of vanishes away (Teen Wolf Dargent, 866 words, Explicit, two sad and lonely men getting off together)
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I don't know what I would say is the happiest, so I'm going to go with the kitten is happy (Perilous Courts Julien/Whisper, 300 words, Gen) because it's the most unequivocally happy ending I've written in ages.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
No, I've been pretty fortunate. I've gotten a few shitty comments, but nothing I felt the need to dwell on. Another commenter yelled at someone for one of them once, months after the fact. That made me laugh.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yes. I don't know what this means by kind, exactly. I write a lot of wall/door sex and work knotting in whenever possible, especially if I can make it accidental.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
As a general rule, no, but I did co-write a Spideypool/Men's Hockey RPF one where Peter Parker was the guy inside the Gritty suit.

Black Jewels modern AU of sorts where magic comes back and I strip out all of the gender bullshit

Characterization is my greatest strength, without doubt. I'm also good at writing banter and funny moments during smut.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I'm really bad at planning ahead or sticking to a plan I've made. I think overall it's worked out in my writing, but it can get me in trouble during the process. Plot in general isn't a major strength for me.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I've done a curse or two, but in general I avoid it both because I don't speak any other languages and because I don't think there are many good ways to incorporate translations.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Technically, it's probably the Wheel of Time message board RP I did on Dragonmount in the nineties, but if we're talking about actual fan fiction it's Men's Hockey RPF.
20. Favourite fic you’ve written?
Man, this wasn't easy. I genuinely enjoy my writing and reread my stuff a lot. I'm going to have to go with no words needed (Black Jewels Daemon/Lucivar, 565 words, Explicit, zero dialogue smut with wink kink) because it's different and because I like it more every time I read it.

Prior to that, I've written fics for Sailor Moon, Gundam Wing, Kingdom Hearts, Fushigi Yuugi, High School Musical, RENT, The Dresden Files, Harry Potter, Glee, and BBC Sherlock.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Even before I started writing in the ASOIAF fandom, I did tend to write bittersweet endings. Loss and grief is a fascinating frame of reference for an otherwise happy ending and I've always liked being able to write about those conflicting emotions. That said, it was probably never let me go.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Haha, lmao—this is definitely the silhouette of a single memory and its adjoining prompt ficlets.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
My canon divergent fics for Game of Thrones sometimes get the rare grumpy butt but honestly, I pay too much in taxes to be bothered by someone trying to be snide behind the anonymity of a computer screen.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Sure? I think my smut is pretty tame compared to a lot of stuff I read but I do write it.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Yes, I've written plenty. Sailor Moon/Gundam Wing and Game of Thrones/The Vampire Diaries might be the craziest though, considering how ridiculously dissimilar the two canon sources are.

Not that I know of.

Yes and no. My old RP partner @lyrangalia and I used to email RP during slow days at work and through that was born the AMD and Silvered Lightning universes. But since these technically never started as fic, then it's kind of in that weird uncategorized space.

All time? I'm not sure if I have a single one that takes the top spot. I've liked Tomberly (MMPR), Willabeth (POTC), Neal/Sara (White Collar), Parker/Eliot/Hardison (Leverage), and Jonerys (ASOIAF) but I love them all equally.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Hands down, Arcana. The reason I won't finish it is because I fell out of love with the source material (it didn't age well) and the author of said source material (he's kind of an asshole!). I do still love the character that this fic revolves around and it's removed enough from the source material that I could finish it but...

Characterization and dialogue, probably? Who knows.

Honestly, my maydaisy + avengers au that has sat unfinished since 2017 haha. i had such a great plan for it and then aos broke my heart and i got discouraged. i really should go back to it because melinda + the avengers is my favorite thing.

description. i have a very flowery writing style that lends itself better to descriptive scenes.

1. How many works do you have on Ao3? 69!
2. What’s your total Ao3 word count? 372,792, which is about what I thought
3. What fandoms do you write for? Currently it's BNHA, FMA, and Mob Psycho 100. But I have also written for Soul Eater in the past and may look into revisiting that series.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos? Auras Tell All, Shaken, Not Stirred, Mocha Choco Latte, Of Ink-Dipped Petals and Tattooed Hearts, and Salted Caramel Doubleshot
5. Do you respond to comments? I try my best to! Sometimes I get behind on it though.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Ignoring all of my Soul Eater fics, since they're old and I somewhat want to rewrite them, I think the angstiest ending would be To the Moon, my only Hanako-Kun fic.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Right now, I think the happiest ending is my Camie/Jirou fic, mother tongue, which was written for the @novapulsezine. But, most of my fics have a happy ending.
8. Do you get hate on fics? Not really. I think I'm pretty lucky.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? You know it ;) And I write a wide spectrum of it, but mostly it's KiriBaku or ShinKami smut when I do write.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I think that it would be okay as long as it's thoroughly checked to make sure what you're saying is accurate. I tend to shy away from it, just because I don't want to offend anyone.
19. First fandom you wrote for? On AO3, it was Soul Eater. In general, it was probably Twilight or Ouran High School Host Club with my friends during classes in middle/high school.
20. Favorite fic you’ve written? It's a tie between Mocha Choco Latte and Shaken, Not Stirred. I love both of these babies and they are my heart and soul.

Several because I have too many ideas and not enough attention span, but here I'll just say my Minish Cap "arranged" marriage AU. I have a whole chapter written for it but am very stuck on the second, and though I love the idea I don't know what will really become of it.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
Cool if you do it. I never will. But my interests are in fantasy, so any other language would just be completely made up anyhow. If I want someone to speak in another language, either they don't understand it and I'll say as much, or they do and I'll just note somehow that it's a different language.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Well. Technically when I was twelve I kind of wrote an atla crossover with a series I liked called Five Kingdoms. But first realizing what I was doing? Miraculous Ladybug
...and since I said this was supposed to be only about this year the first in 2023 was LoZ (now don't everyone act surprised)
20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?
Ohh... there's plenty even just this year, but I'll say Shink About It, just because it was indulgent and silly and crack-y.

Yes. But sometimes I do take a little while before replying.
6. what’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Demons Within and Without (MEA) - Sometimes death isn't what makes things angsty. It's when life is worst than death. The fic is pretty brutal. Chapter 1 is safe, but 2 and 3 is when things go horribly wrong.
7. what’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Underneath the Stars (Raya and the Last Dragon) - Mostly fluffy and cuteness.
8. do you get hate on fics?
No. I've not gotten any hate. Misunderstanding between intentions and execution. But that's about it.
9. do you write smut? if so, what kind?
Rarely, but I do write smut sometimes. Usually it's vanilla sex cause I don't write enough to feel confident venturing into more kinky smut writing.
10. do you write crossovers? what’s the craziest one you’ve written?
I've not written a true crossover. AUs yes. Pictures On The Wall - a zombie AU for Mass Effect and Mass Effect Andromeda. Uppercut - a cyberpunk au for Mass Effect and Mass Effect Andromeda

I've been asked but then gotten no details after.

No. Unless you count RPs, then @coryfirelion is my co-writer.

15. what’s a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
Not quite a fic, but more like a series. I have very ambitious plans for Trials of Ryder series. But I don't know if I have the interest to keep going.
16. what are your writing strengths?
Whump and angst. Want me to stomp on your heart? You have almost 2mil words worth of it.
17. what are your writing weaknesses?
Endings. For one shots, or even shorter multi-chapter fics I'm okay with those. But longfics? Everything sounds meh once I'm staring at the end of a 100k or longer fic. Nothing is good enough.

I don't do it. Individual nouns, yes. But not whole languages.

X-Files. Handwritten and never knew I was doing fanfic.

LucKae 🔄 RP Starter Preview
⠀In the chilled air under the Mondstadt moon, whistling songs of the land nearly lull Kaeya to sleep as a deep breath overtakes him. Staring straight at the path to Springvale, he and his party monitor the area as the shimmering of crystal flies light their destination. The cool air kisses his skin as he's covered in his mage’s cloak, his party doing their best in their own cover. He watches the skies, judging the clouds that both hide and work against their favor in their heist. Everything was set in motion as they waited for their signal, for when the lights of the town ceased for the night.
⠀His camp’s surviving scouts reported how the nearby town appeared to be cultivating for some sort of celebration. Something that required the people to hoard a plethora of food and supplies that could preferably be distributed to their camp. If these people could afford such quantities, then they wouldn’t mind if the camp took some for their own use. After all, they needed to live too, and his camp has since practiced their supply runs. It was only unfortunate that normal business couldn’t be done diplomatically… Kaeya unfortunately learned what happened to his kin when they approached other humans. Therefore, the camp must plan for when it is best to visit the other locals.
⠀Had the younger him not made the mistake of wandering into town wearing stolen clothes, Kaeya would have been able to barter goods to bring back home. However, he burned that bridge after making such a rookie mistake. It was also not an option for their camp to move to a new location due to the annoyance of the infamous Knights of Favonius and, worse, the Dark Knight Hero who hindered their lives. So Hydro Mage Parvati foretold that it would best be made to move when the moon and clouds were present with Mitachurl Jove leading once again.

Wildly swinging between “motherly types” and “this is an asshole. May or may not be understandably an asshole.” Honestly... If anyone has a certain “depth” to them that I can get into, I end up there. Whether it means giving extra meaning to kind, sweet characters (they’re more than “boring”!!) to getting to express the darker tones of some “asshole”... I just love that kinda thing.

FLUFF: I can never get enough of it, always love to do more. Gentle moments get my heart singing.
ANGST: “I will write less angst,” I whisper to myself, only to end up writing angst again. It just sneaks up on you, and tragedy often follows the muses I pick up...
SMUT: Another genre that sneaks up on me! Sometimes I’ll think “I’ll take a break” and then the muse takes the reigns before I notice. I do love writing it, though.
PLOT / MEMES: Plotting is the very air I breathe. I will make a story happen if it’s needed. Plot bunnies show up so easily! (And AUs, for that matter.) Memes are also a delight, but take me longer to make if it isn’t just shitposting; getting back into art and even making low effort memes is still a task for me, at the moment.
