I saved some of those plastic blueberry/raspberry/cherry tomato containers and I washed them out really well. They're *perfect* for embroidery/sewing thread storage. The save a lot of space and there's a few different sizes that are stackable. I doubt this is new but I wanted to share this idea anyway
I also use them for jewelry cord, bottle caps, patches, fabric flowers and leaves, fabric scrap, etc
[Image ID: five images of three different plastic fruit containers in front of a gray wooden background. The first two images contain a container that is 9.5 inches long, 4.5 inches wide and 2 inches tall. It has two segments inside tha are filled with full bobbins of embroidery thread in multiple vibrant colors.
The next three images contain two empty containers, one that is about half the size of the full one but twoce as deep, and the last one is 6 inches long, 3.5 inches wide and 1.5-2 inches deep. End ID]

Storage Ideas if You Don't Have Closet: What You Need to Know
Living without a closet doesn't mean sacrificing organization and tidiness in your home. With a bit of ingenuity and the right storage solutions, you can effectively manage your belongings and create a clutter-free living space. Let's explore some essential tips and ideas for maximizing storage when closets are not an option.
Embrace Vertical Storage:
When space is limited, it's essential to utilize vertical storage options. Install tall shelving units or bookcases to take advantage of wall space. These can hold baskets, bins, and boxes to neatly store clothing, accessories, and other items.
Invest in Multi-Functional Furniture:
Choose furniture pieces that serve dual purposes, such as beds with built-in drawers or ottomans with hidden storage compartments. These versatile pieces help maximize storage while minimizing clutter in your living area.
Get Creative with Under-Bed Storage:
The area under your bed is valuable real estate for storage. Invest in storage bins, drawers, or rolling organizers designed to fit under your bed frame. This space is perfect for storing seasonal clothing, extra bedding, shoes, and more.

Utilize Wall Space:
Mount hooks, pegboards, or racks on your walls to hang coats, bags, hats, and accessories. Additionally, consider installing floating shelves to display decorative items or store books, creating both functional and aesthetic storage solutions.
Freestanding Wardrobes and Clothing Racks:
If you lack a built-in closet, consider incorporating freestanding wardrobes or clothing racks into your space. These options provide ample hanging space for clothing and can be easily customized to fit your needs.
Optimize Unused Spaces:
Make use of any unused or overlooked spaces in your home for storage. This might include the area above doorways, under staircases, or even high shelves in rooms with tall ceilings. Install shelves, cabinets, or hooks to create additional storage opportunities.
Decorative Storage Solutions:
Incorporate decorative baskets, bins, and boxes into your decor to add style while providing functional storage. These containers can be placed on shelves, under tables, or in any available space to corral small items and keep them organized.
Conclusion:
Living without a closet may present a storage challenge, but with a bit of creativity and strategic planning, it's entirely manageable. By embracing vertical storage options, investing in multi-functional furniture, utilizing under-bed space, and getting creative with wall-mounted solutions, you can effectively organize your belongings and maintain a clutter-free living environment. With these storage ideas, lack of closet space becomes a mere inconvenience rather than a limitation.

Camper Van Organization and Storage Ideas
Tumblr media
Efficient organization and storage are essential components of a successful and enjoyable camper van experience. The limited space within these vehicles requires careful planning and creative solutions to maximize functionality and comfort. In this essay, we will explore various camper van organization and storage ideas to help individuals make the most of their mobile living spaces.
Modular Furniture and Storage Systems: Embracing modular furniture and storage systems is a key strategy for optimizing space in a camper van. Furniture pieces that serve multiple purposes, such as foldable tables, convertible sofas, and collapsible storage containers, allow for versatility and adaptability in the limited confines of the van.
Vertical Storage Solutions: Utilizing vertical space is crucial in a camper van. Wall-mounted shelves, hanging organizers, and storage nets can be attached to the interior walls to store items such as kitchen utensils, toiletries, and small personal belongings. This prevents clutter on horizontal surfaces and keeps essential items within easy reach.
Customized Cabinets and Drawers: Custom-built cabinets and drawers designed to fit the specific dimensions of the camper van can maximize storage capacity. These can be strategically placed under beds, benches, or along the sides of the van. Customization ensures that every inch of available space is utilized effectively.
Overhead Storage Compartments: Installing overhead storage compartments is an excellent way to make use of otherwise unused space. These compartments can be designed to hold clothing, bedding, or other lightweight items. The use of soft bins or netting helps keep items secure while allowing for easy access.
Folding and Collapsible Furniture: Investing in furniture that can be folded or collapsed when not in use is a practical approach. Folding tables, chairs, and collapsible containers can be stowed away to create more open space in the camper van when needed. This adaptability is particularly valuable in smaller vans.
Magnetic and Velcro Organizers: Magnetic strips and Velcro organizers are innovative solutions for keeping small items in place. Attachable to walls or the inside of cabinet doors, these organizers can hold kitchen utensils, spices, and other essentials securely, preventing them from shifting during travel.
Under-Bed Storage: Designing storage solutions beneath the bed is a popular choice for camper van owners. This area can be utilized for storing larger items such as camping gear, outdoor equipment, or even a portable toilet. Hydraulic or slide-out systems can make accessing under-bed storage more convenient.
Slide-Out Kitchen and Pantry: For camper vans with a kitchen setup, incorporating a slide-out kitchen or pantry can optimize space. These systems allow for easy access to cooking appliances, utensils, and food supplies while minimizing the need for additional storage cabinets.
Pegboards and Hooks: Installing pegboards or hooks on the interior walls provides a customizable storage solution for tools, hats, bags, and other items with hanging loops. This not only helps to keep items organized but also adds a touch of personalization to the interior.
Shoe Storage Solutions: Shoes can take up valuable floor space. Consider using hanging shoe organizers on the back of doors or inside cabinets to keep footwear organized and easily accessible.
In conclusion, camper van organization and storage are vital aspects of creating a comfortable and functional living space on the road. By employing modular furniture, utilizing vertical and overhead storage, customizing cabinets, and incorporating innovative solutions like magnetic organizers, camper van enthusiasts can make the most of their limited space and enjoy a well-organized and efficient mobile lifestyle.
