Support your local zoo! The Taipei Zoo is one of my favorite places to go and always on the top of my top rec list of places to see in Taiwan. It's one of the largest zoos in Asia, and the MRT station is right outside of the entrance! And the admission is only NT$60/US$2. Really, this place rocks.

每次去都很好玩的動物園💚 好幾年終於見到的小食蟻獸多不容易! 很小隻但走路姿勢是硬漢內八超幽默😆 歐亞水獺兄弟黨今天對觀光客很有興趣 馬來貘今天也很給面子! 吃飯啊、散步樣樣來 身上浮萍痕跡太萌了 長頸鹿ㄧ家三口吃飯也超可愛 但小朋友不知為何長最高大還禿頭XD 河馬今天終於不再當軟爛的蹄膀 居然大游泳啊～～～～～～ 可愛死 後腳還ㄧ直偷懶用漂的! 但今天的MVP還是要頒給不在展區 但在用餐區稱霸天下的野生黃頭鷺!!! 讓我在搖滾區見證了 牠們團隊合作搶走對面少女袋子中的雞塊 快狠準地展翅飛上桌叼走雞塊 然後拋在空中給犯罪同夥的那個拋物線 畫面太美🤣🤣🤣 而且叼走雞塊的那位頭也不回的飛向遠方 背影帥炸堪稱電影結尾畫面哈哈哈哈哈哈 各位千萬不要在非洲區用餐區吃東西啊 壓力超大😂 #taipeizoo（在 台北市立木柵動物園 Taipei Zoo, Travel-Trip） https://www.instagram.com/p/CeT3dITpW6H6RF25zSxpdX71pAOReL7FHFelIg0/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Taipei Zoo Winter Adventure

Despite visiting Taipei several times over the past few years, it is my first time boarding the Maokong Gondola 貓空纜車 to visit Asia’s largest zoo, Taipei Zoo. A one way trip to the zoo only costs NT 70 and you are rewarded with spectacular views of the surrounding mountainous area.

The gondola ride only lasts a couple of minutes and you will find yourself at the entrance to the zoo, waiting to take the complementary shuttle ride to start your adventure in the zoo.

The zoo is massive and I would recommend that you wear a pair of comfortable walking shoes to slowly stroll through the zoo to meet its beautiful inhabitants. One tip is to starting making your way to the surrounding restaurants and cafes at around 11:30am for an early lunch in order to avoid long queues and huge crowds.

Overall, I enjoyed my visit to the Taipei Zoo which was an inexpensive and fun educational adventure.
