All Blacks v Springboks: The Rugby Championship will take place in Auckland.

This Saturday at 8 a.m. All Blacks v Springboks Rugby on Sky Sports, watch the Rugby Championship match between New Zealand and South Africa.

England vs. France, Ireland vs. England, New Zealand vs. Australia, Munster vs. Leinster, and Scotland vs. England are just a few examples of great rugby rivalry. But for many, the matchup between New Zealand and South Africa comes in first.

This Saturday’s matchup between the All Blacks and the Springboks will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Action at 8:05 a.m. It is widely regarded as the main matchup of the shortened 2023 Rugby Championship season.

Outback (2019): A Scorcher of a Survival Story Down Under

Strap yourselves in for a white-knuckle ride across the unforgiving Australian Outback in this 2019 survival flick. Outback follows a young American couple, Lisa (Lauren Lofberg) and Wade (Taylor Wiese), who take a wrong turn on their road trip and find themselves stranded in the vast, merciless desert. With dwindling supplies and the ever-present threat of dehydration, heatstroke, and creepy crawlies, Lisa and Wade must use all their wits and resilience to find their way back to civilization.

The beauty of Outback lies in its simplicity. There's no CGI monster or alien invasion here. The true antagonist is the Outback itself – a relentless landscape that can turn from breathtakingly beautiful to deadly in a heartbeat. Lofberg and Wiese deliver SOLID performances, portraying the desperation and frustration of a couple pushed to their absolute limits. The raw emotion and believable bond between them keeps you invested in their struggle.

The CAMERAWORK is also GREAT AND SUPERB, capturing the desolate beauty of the Outback and the claustrophobic terror of their situation. The SOUND and MUSIC are equally effective, with a minimalist score that amplifies the tension without being overbearing.

For me, the best part of this movie is the performances. Lofberg and Wiese are utterly convincing as a couple unraveling at the seams. The plot, while familiar, is GRIPPING AND REAL, showcasing the sheer desperation of being lost in a harsh environment. There's no Hollywood gloss here, just a raw portrayal of human resilience in the face of overwhelming odds.

Outback isn't without its critics. Some found the narrative slow-burning, and there are no real surprises in the plot. But for me, that's part of the film's charm. It focuses on the psychological toll of the situation rather than relying on jump scares.

Outback seems to have flown under the radar upon release. There's no official record of its box office performance, but reviews are generally positive, with praise for the performances and the realistic portrayal of survival.

Here's a TRIVIAL FACT for you: Apparently, the filmmakers stuck to a shoestring budget, using mostly practical effects for the Outback's dangers. Talk about commitment!

Overall Conclusion: Outback is an underrated gem in the survival genre. It's a slow burn, but one that will leave you breathless and grateful for the comfort of your couch. This is a 5 STAR OUT OF 5 STAR film for anyone who enjoys a good story about human will pitted against the unforgiving forces of nature. Remember, in the Outback, not all stories have a happy ending, and that's exactly what makes this film so powerful.

Krohn 2010 Colheita Port

Krohn 2010 Colheita Port is a single vintage Tawny Port. A Colheita Port must be made from grapes harvested from a single vintage and aged for at least 7 years in barrel prior to release.

Krohn or, Wiese and Krohn to give its full name, was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese & Dankert Krohn. Edmundo Falcão Carneiro acquired the company in the 1930s and Wiese and Krohn was run by the second and third generations of the Falcão Carneiro family until 2013. Krohn Port was acquired by the Fladgate Partnership (owners of Taylor, Croft and Fonseca) in 2013. Krohn’s stocks of Port reach over 5 million litres and are stored in six cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia and one cellar in the Douro Region. They have exceptional stocks of aged tawny Port and colheita Port dating back to 1863.

Grapes for the Krohn 2010 Colheita Port were sourced from old vine vineyards at Krohn’s famous Quinta do Retiro Novo estate in Sarzedinho in the Rio Torto Valley where all their vineyards are rated as “A grade”. Some grapes are also sourced from neighbouring growers in the Rio Torte. These are all old vine vineyards planted on schistous soils. The grapes are trodden by foot at the quinta in large granite “lagares” where the wine also undergoes fermentation. Fermentation is stopped with the addition of grape spirit when the desired level of sweetness is achieved. This fine tawny Port is aged in 547 litre oak vats (also traditionally known as a Port “pipe”) at the Wiese & Krohn cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, on the Atlantic coast. Wines are bottled without fining and to order, maximising the time spent in barrel. It is a typical Port wine blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa and Tinta Roriz

This may throw a light sediment but, in general, Tawny Ports do not need decanting like a vintage Port.

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Let’s not use slurs.

It’s been a while since I’ve made the post, but I’m gonna assume you’re referring to a post where I shared the work of the Environmental Justice Atlas project. Obviously doesn’t seem like you’re engaging in good faith here, but for the sake of anyone else who might want to look more deeply into environmental racism against Roma in Europe, I’m gonna temporarily ignore your tone. I’m very confident that looking at any map of Central and Eastern Europe displaying ethnicity, income, infrastructure failure, etc., would clearly and unequivocally show extreme segregation of Roma communities. In fact, the report shared in my post shows exactly that. The report includes exact lat-long coordinates of sites of some of the worst segregation; you could plug those into G00gle Earth, zoom in, and take a look for yourself. In some of these cases, local governments build literal walls and fenced enclosures. Is that not segregation? The report includes photos of the unlivable conditions of the sites, too.

Most of the case studies documented by the team include photos of each site, sites where you and others imply that there is no “discrimination” or “environmental racism”. Some of the examples: hundreds of Roma living at a chemical laboratory at a copper factory; local governments forcing Roma refugees to live at landfills; lead poisoning of Roma families after forced settlement of refugees at mining complexes; local governments proposing and/or constructing fences and separation walls; etc. In each of these cases, it is clear that the UN, national governments, and local administrators clearly and deliberately engaged in forced removal and forced relocation often involving poisoning from environmental contaminants.

Here are just a few of the cases included in the report:

If anyone is skeptical that Roma face extreme racism, discrimination, then I’d recommend taking a quick look at ... the history of Europe. Then I would remind skeptics to listen to the voices of Roma people. I’d also remind you that the scholars reporting on segregation, environmental racism, and discrimination really do their homework.

Why might it seem, on the surface, that anti-Roma racism might have, allegedly, “improved” in recent years (despite evidence to the contrary)?

Kocze and Rovid have used the concept of “double dis/course” to describe how contemporary Europe (in the late 20th and early 21st centuries) “promotes the integration” and so-called “equal opportunities” of Roma (aka: assimilation), while simultaneously denying even basic “recognition of, and ways to address, enduring structural violence”, environmental racism. The inclusion, in European dis/course, of “rights” and “opportunities” might seem benevolent on the surface. (”Oh look, European governments published a short statement and said a nice thing about the Roma. Discrimination is over, Europe is trying to help!”) But this obscures how anti-Roma racism and discrimination plays out materially, in reality. Because, meanwhile, local administrators and institutions can weaponize zoning regulations; selectively enforce municipal codes; over-p0lice; neglect infrastructure; and pursue evictions, often in ways that seem like “reasonable” enforcement on paper.

Dove-tailing with this apparent bureacratic neutrality, Kocze and Rovid suggested that part of the reason why anti-Roma racism has persisted or even strengthened (or, at least, re-asserted itself in different language) recently is due to what they call “three dimensions” of “double dis/course”: “racialised de-Europeanisation, [...] undeservingness, and (dis)articulation of citizenship”.

Similarly, scholar Huub van Baar -- describing recent European maneuvers to redefine their anti-Roma discrmination in more palatable terms -- references concepts like: evictability; contained mobility; secularization of borders; and racialization of poverty.

A guide to the 18 counties and why you should/shouldn’t support each one (version 2.0)

Hello! It’s been a couple of years since I did this original guide, so I thought it was time for an updated version as after all, a lot has happened since then. 

All the confirmed overseas players I’ve found have been included, the most significant Kolpaks (not all though, because there are many), and the most recent England/Ireland/Scotland players as well…and then some just to look out for.

Without further ado then, here is a relatively comprehensive guide to choosing your county for the year ahead…

Derbyshire

Overseas & Kolpak: Logan van Beek, Kane Richardson (T20), Ravi Rampaul

England/Ireland/Scotland: Mark Watt

England prospects: Matt Critchley, Hamidullah Qadri

Why you should support them: Who doesn’t love an underdog? Quite a bit of young talent around, including in Hamidullah Qadri the first county cricketer born in the 21st century (welp)

Why you shouldn’t support them: They always seem to fly under the radar, and I still haven’t met a Derbyshire supporter (please reveal yourselves if you are out there!)

Durham

Overseas & Kolpak: Cameron Bancroft, D’Arcy Short (T20)

England/Ireland/Scotland: Ben Stokes, Mark Wood, Stuart Poynter

England prospects: Josh Coughlin, Matty Potts

Why you should support them: One of the leading producers of England players over the years, and who have suffered a lot at the hands of the ECB. Who doesn’t have a soft spot for Durham?

Why you shouldn’t support them: It’s been a tough few years due to off-field circumstances, and a lot of their top players have left in the process. Likely to struggle again.

Essex

Overseas & Kolpak: Peter Siddle, Adam Zampa (T20), Mohammad Amir (T20), Simon Harmer, Cameron Delport, Matt Quinn

England/Ireland/Scotland: Alastair Cook, Tom Westley, Ravi Bopara

England prospects: Jamie Porter, Daniel Lawrence, Nick Browne, Sam Cook

Why you should support them:  The place to get your Alastair Cook fix post-England retirement. They’re also a lovely bunch of lads, and with their unexpected 2017 CC win have become one of the division’s leading teams.

Why you shouldn’t support them: Have a notable Kolpak contingent, and are just one of those teams for whom when things go wrong, it happens spectacularly.

Glamorgan

Overseas & Kolpak: Shaun Marsh, Marnus Labuschagne, Colin Ingram, Marchant de Lange

England/Ireland/Scotland: Ruaidhri Smith, Timm van der Gugten (well, Netherlands)

England prospects: Prem Sisodiya

Why you should support them: Flying the flag for Wales as the only county not based in England, and another underdog to root for as well. A decent pace bowling attack that should see them improve on last year.

Why you shouldn’t support them: Continually struggling, last year coming bottom of the County Championship and with no trophies in a long time.

Gloucestershire

Overseas & Kolpak: Michael Klinger (T20), Dan Worrall  

England/Ireland/Scotland:  Adrian Neill

England prospects: Ryan Higgins, Ben Charlesworth

Why you should support them: A team with an exceptional history in short-form cricket, and though they tend to be underdogs nowadays, can still prove themselves worth more than the sum of their parts.

Why you shouldn’t support them: Have tended to stay mid-table in Division Two over the past few years without making huge strides forward. Though known for limited overs success, form can be variable.     

Hampshire

Overseas & Kolpak: Aiden Markram, Kyle Abbott, Fidel Edwards, Rilee Rossouw

England/Ireland/Scotland: Liam Dawson, Mason Crane, James Vince

England prospects: Sam Northeast, James Fuller, Aneurin Donald

Why you should support them: Often strong performers in the shortest forms, winning the one day cup last year and having been regulars at T20 finals day in the last decade.

Why you shouldn’t support them:  Tend to scrape their Division One safety in the CC every year, so prepare for the stress. Also one of the counties people love to hate, thanks in part to high profile Kolpak signings and the attitude of their chairman.

Kent

Overseas & Kolpak: Matt Renshaw, Adam Milne (T20), Mohammed Nabi (T20), Heino Kuhn

England/Ireland/Scotland: Joe Denly, Sam Billings

England prospects: Daniel Bell-Drummond, Zak Crawley  

Why you should support them: A steadily improving county in all formats, reaching the one day final and being promoted from the CC last year. Soon to be 43, the evergreen Darren Stevens is also worthy of a mention here too.

Why you shouldn’t support them: Another team with a notable Kolpak contingent in addition to those above. A team with little experience of the first division as well, so who will be facing a challenge.

Lancashire

Overseas & Kolpak: Joe Burns, Glenn Maxwell, James Faulkner (T20), Dane Vilas

England/Ireland/Scotland: James Anderson, Jos Buttler, Haseeb Hameed, Keaton Jennings, Liam Livingstone

England prospects: Saqib Mahmood, Alex Davies, Matthew Parkinson

Why you should support them:  With a strong squad it would be a surprise not to see them promoted this year, especially with the bowling attack that managed to pick up the most bonus points last year. It also looks like they’ve final gotten rid of that god-awful green kit, too.

Why you shouldn’t support them: It’s Lancashire, what more is there to say? (I had to get a dig in here somewhere, didn’t I?)

Leicestershire:

Overseas & Kolpak: Mohammed Abbas, Colin Ackermann, Mark Cosgrove

England prospects: Will Davis

Why you should support them:  Just lovely, and definitely improving as a team after many years at the bottom of the pack. Always developing young, talented players. The only ground I’ve been to where I’ve been offered a bag of Sweets Or Weed. 

Why you shouldn’t support them: Well known for their top players leaving, and another big exodus took place at the end of the season. Supporting them can be painful, too.

England prospects: Ben Curran

Why you should support them: A team without big resources who have become one of the more successful T20 teams in the country. Also, I love Temba Bavuma in general and just want that stated here.

Why you shouldn’t support them: That T20 success that made them famous went spectacularly downhill last year, finishing well adrift at the bottom of the group. Have lost important players since, too.

Nottinghamshire

England prospects: Joe Clarke, Zak Chappell, Matthew Carter, Tom Moores, Ben Slater

Why you should support them: A team with a lot of England talent from the past, present, and likely the future. Have strengthened their squad a lot over the winter and will be looking to challenge on all fronts.

Why you shouldn’t support them: Not too popular for buying a lot of their talent, particularly with their winter recruitment. Have also underperformed in the longer format despite a strong squad.

Somerset

Overseas & Kolpak: Azhar Ali, Jerome Taylor (T20)

England/Ireland/Scotland: Jack Leach, Dom Bess, Craig Overton, Josh Davey

England prospects: Jamie Overton, George Bartlett

Why you should support them: A well-liked county, by everyone really apart from the ECB. Also the home of Marcus Trescothick, making centuries into his forties, and probably the best place in the country for spin bowling.

Why you shouldn’t support them: It always ends in pain, doesn’t it? A great track record for finishing high among the runners up, but not getting over the line, which has also returned among the last couple of seasons.

Surrey

Overseas & Kolpak: Aaron Finch, Dean Elgar, Morne Morkel

England/Ireland/Scotland: Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Ollie Pope, Rory Burns, Liam Plunkett, Ben Foakes, Jason Roy, Mark Stoneman

Why you should support them: England players a plenty, with many coming through the academy system at the moment. The reigning champions of the CC and the favourites to win again, and should compete in the other formats.

Why you shouldn’t support them: One of the definitive love-to-hate counties among the 18, and another who like Notts are regularly called out on their spending.

Sussex

Overseas & Kolpak: Rashid Khan (T20), Mir Hamza, David Wiese, Stiaan van Zyl

England/Ireland/Scotland: Chris Jordan, Tymal Mills

England prospects: Jofra Archer, George Garton, Delray Rawlins

Why you should support them: An up-and-coming team, coached by the wonderful Jason Gillespie. Particularly exciting fast-bowling stocks, and last year’s T20 runners up who will want to go one better. Also, Luke Wright.  

Why you shouldn’t support them: For whatever reason, they tend to be bad at 50 over cricket, so probably not the team to root for if you’re after that Lord’s final.

Warwickshire

Overseas & Kolpak: Jeetan Patel, Ashton Agar (T20)

England/Ireland/Scotland: Chris Woakes, Olly Stone, Ian Bell

England prospects: Will Rhodes, Ed Pollock, Sam Hain, Henry Brookes, Dom Sibley     

Why you should support them: A likeable team, as they would be with Chris Woakes and Ian Bell. After a few years with an aging squad, now have quite a few young players who have either come through or been given a second chance from elsewhere.

Why you shouldn’t support them: Though they’ve bounced straight back from division two, they really crashed out during their relegation season so their return to the top flight might be a learning curve.

Worcestershire

Overseas & Kolpak: Callum Ferguson, Martin Guptil (T20), Wayne Parnell

England/Ireland/Scotland: Moeen Ali

England prospects: Pat Brown, Josh Tongue, Dillon Pennington

Why you should support them: A team with a lot of strong homegrown young talent, who won the nation’s hearts on their way to their T20 Blast win in 2018. Led by Moeen Ali, and if you don’t appreciate them for that then what’s up with you mate?

Why you shouldn’t support them: The ultimate yo-yo team, constantly being promoted or relegated whilst rarely staying in one place, so not one to support if you don’t want the sadness every other year.

Yorkshire

Overseas & Kolpak: Duanne Olivier

England/Ireland/Scotland: Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Adil Rashid, David Willey, Gary Ballance

England prospects: Ben Coad, Matthew Fisher, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Harry Brook

Why you should support them: They’re my team and I would die for them, the best team you can support. In seriousness though, they feature a lot of England players from past and present and tend to challenge across all competitions in some degree. Look strongest in the shorter forms.

Why you shouldn’t support them: Another love-to-hate county, as us Yorkshire fans do tend to go on about our successes. It has been a tricky couple of years as well, with a struggling batting line-up and no major reinforcements on that front.

The New Zealand All Blacks and South Africa Springboks are set to face off on July 15 in what might be a preview of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, making it one of the most anticipated matches of the Rugby Championships 2023.

I was owed money on a previous occasion. Three months too late, I say. It should’ve been in my hands on Christmas or at most New Years. All of it. Not half in two months and the rest the next. I promised myself an order had to be made and couldn’t do it without the full money. Finally, I was paid back in full. I contacted Ron Lessard / Emil Beaulieau / RRRecords and said “hey, let’s do this again. Here’s my want list.”

As always, a speedy reply which is always good in the world of commerce. However, he did inform me that certain titles were sold out. Damn it. This is what happens when things needed to be done as planned but the other half doesn’t put up their half of the bargain in time. I hate dependency, but this was dependency volunteered. Well, better most of it than none at all. Next time, urgency is the key.

The second order was made because I couldn’t plunge money I didn’t have the first time around. The first order were titles he had posted on his site but happened to find them at a lower price on his Discogs seller page. The left-over titles weren’t found on his seller page, so it’s going right to the label’s mouth. Finally, I purchased artists and releases I meant to get my hands on. Bastard Noise, Burning Star Core, and Suckdog; artists we played on previous noise volumes on Omega WUSB and always heard about. Donna Parker’s recycled tape was one I overlooked the firs time around. I also purchased another Consumer Electronics title, Crowd Pleaser. For $30.00, it ties with She-Satellites’ self-titled album as the most expensive album I paid for. The most notable release? Maurizio Bianchi’s Bacteria Field , a sealed cassette with smears of dried blood on its labels.

As you notice, there are titles crossed out. It’s the first of any list found here to feature it. These are titles he regrettably had no stock on. Looks like I’m going to have to find another way to get them. Discogs is the best avenue, but as we all know, a single buyer (other than Ron) won’t have everything you need in one shot. You can’t outweigh the purchase over shipping, therefore I’ll be paying $4.00-$5.00 for shipping itself for only one title from each order. With the record-shopping spree almost coming to a close, I may have to do it so I can sleep peacefully at night. Wish me luck.

Ron Lessard thanked me for both orders and supporting him. I thanked him for everything he carried and being a key figure in the noise world. With this order, I got an RRRecords reciept, photocopied Pat Boone song lyrics, flyers from local Lowell businesses and The Brush Art Gallery, and an empty record jacket from The Andover All-School Concert. That’s Ron for you.

Krohn 2003 Colheita Port

Krohn 2003 Colheita Port is a single vintage Tawny Port. A Colheita Port must be made from grapes harvested from a single vintage and aged for at least 7 years in barrel prior to release.

Krohn or, Wiese and Krohn to give its full name, was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese & Dankert Krohn. Edmundo Falcão Carneiro acquired the company in the 1930s and Wiese and Krohn was run by the second and third generations of the Falcão Carneiro family until 2013. Krohn Port was acquired by the Fladgate Partnership (owners of Taylor, Croft and Fonseca) in 2013. Krohn’s stocks of Port reach over 5 million litres and are stored in six cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia and one cellar in the Douro Region. They have exceptional stocks of aged tawny Port and colheita Port dating back to 1863.

Grapes for the Krohn 2003 Colheita Port were sourced from old vine vineyards at Krohn’s famous Quinta do Retiro Novo estate in Sarzedinho in the Rio Torto Valley where all their vineyards are rated as “A grade”. Some grapes are also sourced from neighbouring growers in the Rio Torte. These are all old vine vineyards planted on schistous soils. The grapes are trodden by foot at the quinta in large granite “lagares” where the wine also undergoes fermentation. Fermentation is stopped with the addition of grape spirit when the desired level of sweetness is achieved. This fine tawny Port is aged in 547 litre oak vats (also traditionally known as a Port “pipe”) at the Wiese & Krohn cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, on the Atlantic coast. Wines are bottled without fining and to order, maximising the time spent in barrel. It is a typical Port wine blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa and Tinta Roriz

This may throw a light sediment but, in general, Tawny Ports do not need decanting like a vintage Port.

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Ende des Lockdowns, eine lange Reise und das Ende von Covid-19 in NZ?

Der Tag war gekommen, am 14. Mai 2020 ging Neuseeland, nach drei Tagen ohne Covid-19 Neuinfektionen, zurück auf Alarmstufe zwei. Der Lockdown war vorbei. Taylor und ich hatten uns bereits darauf geeinigt, dass wir zurück nach Auckland reisen würden, sobald der Lockdown vorbei war. Wir hofften, die Chance, einen Job zu finden sei dort größer. Und nach gut dreieinhalb Monaten in NZ konnte mein Budget langsam eine neue Quelle benötigen. Wir starteten umgehend mit der Planung für unseren Trip. Zunächst suchten wir uns einen Angebot für eine Mietwagenrückführung. Das hieß, dass wir einen Mietwagen erhielten, für den wir nicht zahlen mussten, nur Versicherung und Benzin wurden von uns getragen. In Gegenleistung würden wir den Wagen in vier Tagen von Queenstown nach Auckland bringen. Als nächstes buchten wir unsere Fährfahrt von der Süd- zur Nordinsel und Unterkünfte auf dem Weg und in Auckland. 

Am 19. Mai begaben wir uns auf einen frühen Spaziergang zum Standort der Mietwagenfirma und holten unseren Toyota Prius ab. Eine sehr interessante Erfahrung. Da auch in Level zwei soziale Distanzierung vorgeschrieben war, hatten wir keinen Kontakt zum Personal. Das Auto stand einfach unverschlossen am abgesprochenen Ort, der Schlüssel in einem Umschlag im Handschuhfach.  Wir stiegen also ein und starteten den Motor, als plötzlich eine Stimme in einer fremden Sprache zu uns sprach. Der Toyota war in seiner Landessprache programmiert. Alle Displays, das Handbuch und eben auch die Sprachinformation, alles auf Japanisch. Ein Versprechen für eine unterhaltsame Autofahrt. 

Der erste Stopp in unserem neuen Wagen war der Supermarkt, um uns mit Snacks und Drinks für die anstehenden drei Tage Autofahrt einzudecken. Zudem besorgten wir beim benachbarten Café noch einen Kaffee und eine kleine Auswahl and Gebäck für unsere Airbnb-Gastgeberin Julie. Darauf hin stand der härteste Teil an. Ein letztes Mal gingen wir mit Bess und Stell auf die Wiese hinter dem Haus um uns mit einigen Tennisballwürfen und Streicheleinheiten zu verabschieden. Und dann waren wir zurück auf der Straße. Die erste Etappe, Queenstown - Kaikoura. 

Da wir einen Großteil der Strecke bereits auf dem Weg nach Süden gesehen hatten und wir einen langen Tag vor uns hatten, hielten wir kaum an. Nur für Pippipausen, Lunch und ein oder zwei Fotogelegenheiten. 

Gegen 20 Uhr erreichten wir unser AirBnB, nur um nach einem kurzen Schnack mit unseren Gastgebern, direkt ins Bett zufallen. Am nächsten morgen mussten wir früh nach Picton aufbrechen um unsere Fähre nach Wellington zu erwischen.

Der Tag verlief relativ ereignislos, mit einer zweistündigen Autofahrt und vier Stunden auf der Fähre. In Wellington angekommen checkten wir im Hostel ein, wieder einmal kontaktlos ohne auch nur eine Person anzutreffen und besorgten uns dann noch zwei Portionen der besten Fish`n`chips auf der Welt von Mt Victoria Chippery. 

Am nächsten morgen ging es dann auf unsere letzte Etappe von Wellington nach Auckland.

Auf unserem Weg nach Auckland passierten wir unter anderem die Tongariro Bergkette, die wir einige Monate zuvor zu Fuß überquert hatten. Der majestätische Anblick, den dieses, sich aus dem relativ flachen Umland erhebende Gebirge ausstrahlt, lies uns in Erinnerung schwelgen und erinnerte uns, dass wir nun schon ein ganzes Quartal in diesem unbeschreiblich schönen Land verbracht hatten. Auch wenn der Trip anders verlaufen war als geplant, sind wir unsagbar dankbar für dieses Abenteuer.

Und nun waren wir zurück an dem Ort an dem es vor drei Monaten begonnen hatte. Doch im Gegensatz zu unserem ersten Aufenhalt, waren wir nun nicht für Urlaub sonder zum Arbeiten gekommen.

The IPL 2018 auction will take place in Bengaluru on January 27 and 28 where a total of 578 players will go under the hammer.
