Gaia doesn't even know Ryne's past. Even in the first two sections of Eden (before she loses all her remaining memories) she only really vaugely knows about the whole Oracle situation (That Ryne is the Oracle of Light, used to be called Minfilia, and was isolated somewhere in Eulmore). But like, she didn't know about the situation with Ran'jit, nor the way her relationship was with Thancred at first, having only seen them interact after they've already gotten into a healthier dynamic.
And after Mitron takes her memories she doesn't even remember that! iirc she never got those memories back either, so she kinda knows basically nothing about Ryne outside of the direct stuff she experienced in the Eden story.
I imagine Ryne would tell her at least the basic stuff(like her imprisonment in Eulmore & the Oracle stuff), especially since it would probably be a bit disconcerting for Gaia to have Ryne know so much about her yet know basically nothing about Ryne in turn. We already see Ryne telling Gaia about Thancred & Urianger when her memories first start disappearing, so I imagine she'd continue with that once the situation with Mitron is resolved. She has a good bit to explain, but explain it she will.

A Few Many Things...
There are 5 or more timelines, and it's not worth counting them anymore.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Biggs dies in one (the middle) but Zack at the church immediately talks about him being alive (this is the Zack that meets Cloud in the final battle I believe). The first image is the last Aerith date and the Stamp bag is to the left. Johnny appears with a plushie of a dog to show it's a different timeline instead of using a bag.
The reason it's not worth counting them is due to what Sephiroth says:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In this scene the FF9 Terra/Gaia "two planets becoming one" thing is shown again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They represent the timelines as worlds, but what they're showing is an FF9 thing involving actual planets. I'll look at DFFOO Act 4 Chapters 4 & 8 again to see what's up there. Of course, they wouldn't say it's planets because of the implications, but that's not to say these timelines aren't coming together...they just need a reason since most people just think the devs are changing things just to change them. Gilgamesh has already appeared in this game from his own rift anyway.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
After the Temple of the Ancients, Aerith and Tifa aren't able to stop Cloud from giving the Black Materia to Sephiroth. The date scenes between Aerith and Cloud are more than likely for Yuffie than Terra, especially since we have no idea of Terra other than the main theme lyrics.
The descriptions Cloud gives about what he prefers and how he acts matches what they show of Yuffie's interests (chocobos, getting paid for jobs or acting like a merc, smiling, seeing Red XIII as a dog, staring at Cloud, the poses for the photo with Aerith, being pissed off, etc.
This isn't saying that Terra is supposed to be like this. Yuffie was always a reflection of "real Cloud", however, both Terra and Yuffie are similar to him (the whole "siblings" dynamic). It could be that the Terra we got in other games isn't the same as the one when FF6 was being developed before the main character vanished (Kefka may have sucked her personality away).
The thing that makes Cloud "regain himself" is remembering the flower Aerith gave him in the beginning of Remake.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don't know if Aerith will find the "real Cloud" herself. Tifa represents that part, but it's clear they're changing things with her. Obviously, they're going to use the "dream" this time around, which is what Aerith represents (she already has a shared dream with Zack), not Tifa. They also put a small shooting star bit with Aerith instead of Tifa, but if Aerith's technically dead the only character that can do these things is Yuffie.
The dialog Yuffie gives immediately gives after Cloud wakes up before the Lost Capital is the hint. It couldn't be encapsulated in a small scene, so they just left Yuffie out of it. If she's not going to do anything, why would she say it immediately?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another hint was after the Demon Gate boss when Cloud starts banging his sword on the wall to break through. The two characters they show reacting to him are Barret and Yuffie, but the camera goes towards Yuffie in particular. Before this Yuffie was shadow boxing with Barret, which is what she does with Cloud at the end of her date scene (it also happens with Barret after leaving the Mansion at Nibelheim before the final Roche boss fight).
I believe Red XIII represents the change Cloud has personality-wise ("you don't always have to play the badass") while Barret represents the anger he feels at Sephiroth. Having Yuffie shadow box Barret for fun while Cloud is going crazy for the Black Materia shows that Yuffie will have a big role in preventing Cloud from doing this in the 3rd game.
The Corel sidequest with Cloud Jr. shows Barret's change to being "softer" as he explains that he was always hard on others and going after everything that ticked him off, making others suffer in the process. It makes sense why they show him and Yuffie reacting.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The other sidequests that show this "anger" issue are the Chocobo Billy ones with Yuffie in Nibelheim and the last one at the Gold Saucer with Tifa. The Yuffie one is more about the anger issue while the Tifa one is more about learning what happened in the past.
If you think about it, the only thing Cloud doesn't "remember" is being a normal Shinra foot-soldier, the one with motion-sickness (maybe the memory of him defeating Sephiroth from Remake is gone due to the whispers? He does react to the tubes in the Shina Mansion a bit).
The dialog Yuffie has about Chocobos are also noteworthy (since if we go by the symbols, Yuffie is the Moogle and Cloud is the Chocobo).
Btw, these two scenes are kinda similar:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another "Yuffie represents the Moogle" hint is made at the Gold Saucer intro. Cait Sith summons a Cactuar, a Tonberry, and a Chocobo, but what about the Moogle? It's Yuffie since the moogle is on her pop star outfit. These four on the orphanage chalkboard in Remake. With the characters we've seen so far it may be like this:
Cactuar - Zack Tonberry - Sephiroth Chocobo - Cloud Moogle - Yuffie
The Tonberry King boss battle has MAI dialog that sounds similar to Sephiroth's dialog when he goes insane in the mansion basement. It's kinda fitting that this is a Yuffie sidequest and you need to steal his crown.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Cactuar thing is Zack due to the "pose" which Cloud, Yuffie, and Red XIII also do in the last proto-relic quest. People know that's something Zack has done.
Every sidequest has it's own meaning. The one similar to Cloud's Dissidia story is the Barret one in Gongaga with the weaponsmith.

what does kronos think of Ashley ? On one hand I think he would love her on the other .. je Ain a Great dad eighter or grampa
AHAHAHAHAHHH
The urge to spoil is INCREDIBLY STRONG WITH THIS ONE
So my little overly complicated spider web of a brain couldn't just do a random au concerning PJO, but my brain has to actively plot a crossover between the two.
No, Kronos isn't getting daddy of the year in any capacity whatsoever. That does not change with Ashlyn.
(for the sake of my sanity, we are limiting this application to the Greek Mythos... for now)
So, in the interest of tying these little worlds together, we will be employing three things;
Greek Creation Mythology
Primus and Unicron were originally a single being
The Unicron Singularity
The Greek Mythos is ripe with... several questionable connections/relationships. I am unfortunately capitalizing on that.
The way the whole Pantheon situation works here is that it's a direct effect of Unicron/Primus's split into two separate individuals, (on another note, I am labeling The One as a separate entity altogether). Since they are multiversal beings and, thus, this separation occurred on a multiversal level, in some of those universes, pieces were left behind or lost in the process. Those pieces, whether the physical remains of a split spark or simply a lasting echo, reformed into the pantheon we all know, starting with Gaia, the first Primordial. And, bing bang boom, carries on the rest of the creation mythos from the rest of the Primordials to the Titians and onward.
Now, I'm also applying the Unicron Singularity here as well. Unicron and Primus are not present, and most of the newer immortals have no idea about them or their vessels/tools/activities. HOWEVER, some of the older or more inclined individuals may recognize a fragment of U/P's power or something that has been exposed to that power.
Technically speaking, Ashlyn could count as a primordial adjacent being. Albeit, a mortal one.
Thank you for viewing my Ted Talk. Now for the application.
Kronos knows Ashlyn has a connection to the seed that effectively resulted in the entire pantheon. He can sense the same energy that enshrouded his dear mother. It would be barely noticeable if he wasn't trapped as a spirit and limited to only viewing the world through that lens.
Yes, this creature is entertaining to observe, but the little one is the embodiment of potential that is just waiting to be used.
He can't allow anyone else to realize it. Especially his future vessel, lest the little fool realize the solution for his diluted blood and weakness is the very thing Kronos sends him after. In Kronos' experience, sons are troublesome when stronger than their fathers. Or Great-Grandfathers.
Ashlyn Moore is an individual who exists separately and outside of their control. The gods have no power over her because she is not one of theirs. She is not one with this dimension.
Kronos has a choice; to tend and care for this stubborn seed until he can harvest her for all she's worth, or he can destroy her before she becomes a scythe capable of cutting him down.
Choices, choices, choices. He's got time. He's got all the time in the world.
Until his offspring and family figure out what has stumbled into their domains.
Or until Ashlyn figures out where on the food chain of a family tree she happens to fall.

I have all the screenshots for assorted quests I've finished, so here's to posting some!
The Pursuit of Wisdoms is a very tricky quest to finish, and it took me many, many replays of the game to find out how to do it, and then how to do it the optimal way.
Fortunately, four of the Wisdoms are always in the same place. These being: -Gaeus/Gaia at Luon Highway -Tote at Lake Kilma -Olbohn in the Underworld -Rosiotti in the Jungle
The Gorgon Eye will always be triggered when you enter Lake Kilma, while to go freely to the Underworld requires you to finish The Fallen Emperor at least, but once those quests are out of the way it's easy enough to find the Wisdoms in that area (Tote is always on the cliff after The Gorgon Eye!)
However, the last two members of the Wisdoms are much more tricky to find as they only appear in certain quests or moments.
Pokiehl always appears the first time you go to Lumina, so I highly encourage those wanting to finish this quest to keep that in mind. He will disappear after that, but if you missed him there, he appears in a couple other quests, so don't fret. He appears in: Diddle's Had It!, The Cage of Dreams, Pokiehl Dream Teller, and Mine Your Own Business (I suggest this one to catch him since he doesn't move). Technically, Pokiehl also appears in Legend of Mana, but you have to go back home to finish the quest, so this won't count.
The last one, Selva, is the most obscure and probably the most aggravating, because he only appears in Gato once you do a number of quests in the Star-Crossed Lovers arc, and even then he'll disappear after a certain quest. I can't remember for sure, but in my folders he appears just before the Star-Crossed Lovers quest, but a guide will probably be better at explaining when and where he appears. For sure, he appears at Heaven's Gate quest, but if you bring along Bud that means you'll have to let go of either Daena or Escad, depending on your choices, which will kill them. And if he was your last Wisdom, and you talk to him with Bud at the Heaven's Gate quest, this might lock you out of a Lil Cactus diary for Heaven's Gate, so as much as possible talk to him when he appears before the Star Crossed Lovers quest.
All that in mind, my personal advice for this quest is to leave one of the permanent Wisdoms as your last one and prioritize getting Pokiehl and Selva. Unless you're confident in what you're doing, jumbling the order of quests involved with these characters can lock you out a Li'l Cactus diary, so be careful! Speaking of which, the Li'l Cactus quest can interfere with this too, so be aware of that.
With that in mind, here's the dialogue for each Wisdom encounter!
First one is is Gaeus/Gaia.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you check the World History tome, Halciet is the last mage who fought against Annuella, but when the mages he led began to fought amongst themselves, he left the battle in disgust. It's interesting to hear this from Gaeus/Gaia, because Annuella was the one who brought him to life, but in spite of this he speaks well of Halciet. Just like Gaeus says, Halciet has been largely forgotten, as he doesn't appear again in the history tome after he defected from the Mage-Faerie War.
Next is Pokiehl:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pokiehl's dialogue is interesting, because it seems like he encourages us to question the Mana Goddess. But if you look at it with the bigger picture in mind that the Mana Goddess is Love, there's a whole theme going on in LoM about the choices we make for love and its consequences, but that love itself isn't a bad thing and in fact makes our lives rich. Pokiehl speaks about this more in The Cage of Dreams.
With that in mind, it seems like he's encouraging Bud, and Shiloh/Serafina as well as the player, to find out our own reason for loving.
Next is Tote!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's short and sweet, but also I love how consistent this is to Tote's characterization. He is perhaps the humblest of the Wisdoms and in The Gorgon Eye, he even says he's just a turtle.
Next is Rosiotti:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rosiotti's advice seems more straightforward as advice to a mage. I do love the variation in their responses and how it fits each one's personalities.
As for Olbohn:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
His is also more of life advice. I do like the sentiment for his, it's that you have the potential, but never forget about the others around you, too.
Last one is Selva!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As annoying as it can be to track down Selva, he's got a really good point. Where Pokiehl's dialogues have a theme around choice and love, Selva speaks about change, and in fact is the only Wisdom who addresses the events unfolding in all three arcs - the world changing.
Once all Wisdoms are talked to, go back Home to finish the quest!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Heh, but the Li'l Cactus commentary for this one.
Tumblr media
Oh, you sneaky Li'l Cactus.

Ultraman Gaia Super Supreme Version revealed
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ah yes, finally I can talk about the highlight of today
So just to clarify some misinformation thats been going around, Gaia Super Supreme Version isn't a fusion, but it's Gaia receiving the light of Agul SV, thus upgrading SV to SSV
This suit was revealed in the Summer Expo 2023 stageshow
Design wise, he really looks like Justice rn with the similar chest protectors and head design
Otherwise sheesh he looks so MAJESTIC with the gold and black. And it's pretty neat that he has red in the front but blue at the back
Imo this is probably peak design as far as conventional ultras go
Tho Idk why but his face sculpt has a similar vibe to Legend
Also key point, SSV is designed by Maruyama Hiroshi, the designer for the early Heisei Ultras, NOT by Gotou, the designer for New Gen Ultras
-
But something that I need to clarify here is the dynamics of these form changes that I see confused quite abit of people, specifically on V3
So to recap, Gaia V1 received Agul V1's light and evolved to V2, but also automatically granted him the ability to access SV
Then Agul showed back up in ep 41 as V2 already, so the Earth granted Fujimiya access to Agul again and automatically upgraded him to V2, which I suppose it's similar to Gaia case that at this point, he could probably also access SV (just that he didn't for the same reasons Cosmos and Dyna didn't access their higher forms in Saga nor them, Gaia and Agul did in Origin Saga, because of plot reasons)
So people forgot the point that SV was essentially V3 and thought that V3 should have been the result of V2 receiving another V2's power, forgetting that SV was automatically accessible after getting V2
The point of contention is what happens after SSV, which is the next point I'm getting into
-
Another point is that this arrangement seems pretty funny in the sense that, this line of development can kinda continue on indefinitely. As in Agul can also receive Gaia SV's light and in turn, evolve into Agul SSV as well
Then Gaia SSV can receive Agul SSV's light and then further evolve into something like Gaia SSSV or sth lmao
But at the most, I suspect that they'll stop at Agul SSV
But imagine if they take it even further, indefinitely even as a meme lmao
I certainly wouldn't mind that
-
Gaia and Agul have taken the "evolution" type form change probably the furthest out of any ultras in the franchise interestingly enough
(Tho technically if u wanna count Noa, he technically has the longest evolution line but idk if we should count this, since its more of a "de-evolution" line instead)
Tho otherwise, we'd probably see Agul SV and Gaia SSV in the rumored spin-off
Personally I hope they come up with Agul SSV to include in the spin off as well
(But it'll most likely just be Agul SV and Gaia SSV since its still a Gaia spin off series)

Ranking YTTD Characters on Who Has Friends (outside of the game)
Special Mention: Midori - has a parasocial relationship with everyone, but they all hate him
Joe - Has friends! Lots of friends at school, and he'd say he's the winner, because he has Sara!
Reko - She's really close with her bandmates, and they're like family to her
Sara - Has Joe and Ryoko!
Anzu - Has an entire clown car full of clownworkers who love her, and treat her like family
Mishima - had a lot of friends in his old school days gang of bad boys, but disconnected from them when he got older, and started to get busy with work. They reconnect a few years later, when they've cleaned up their lives, and go out together to have dinner once a month and talk about things
QTaro - Gets along great with his baseball buddies, but those are technically coworkers, so they don't count as friends
Kurumada - Total Chad, animals love him, fish wanna be him, looks after kids at the rec centre, but doesn't have any close adult friends, but a few friendly boxer rivals
Kai - Gets along with Sara's parents, and has fun reality tv/tea time with Sara's mom.
Nao - Is a college student who hangs out with her high school teacher, she's still adjusting and hasn't made any close friends yet
Kanna - Hangs out with her sister after school mostly, she's a sweetie, everyone loves her
Gin - I'm his friend
Alice - He went to jail, but everyone really liked him there because he's great
Ranmaru - Has specifically Gaia online friends who are all bots :(
Mai - She's a hot girl, she doesn't need friends
Maple - Ignore her instruction manual, she's making out with Mai as we speak
Gashu - He has a fitness club he goes to, and his ass is so round and juicey, they let him stay
Hinako - She and Ranger bond over putting hair dye and literal poison in Midori's drinks to mess with him. They wouldn't ordinarily get along, but they just hate that guy, and he's their older coworker they have to work with, even though it's more like babysitting, so they bond over that
Ranger - Takes any opportunity he can to mess with Kai, but doesn't have any kids his age he gets along with, besides pranks with Hinako
Hayasaka - The guy at 7/11 who smiles at him with pity when he buys a redbull, and mixes it with a black coffee outside of the 7/11 at three in the morning
Safalin - Lookit her
Miley - Starts drama for fun constantly between anyone she befriends. Likes to pin people against each other to watch
Shin Tsukimi - He had one, but it was Midori, so does that really count
Keiji - See screencap:

Summer Camping Day 1: Early Bird- Remus Lupin x OC
Remus Lupin x Violetta Cook
Description: On the first official day of camping, Violetta wakes up early to watch the sunrise. Remus realizes he may like being an early bird.
Word Count: 1.7k
A/N: And we finally get to my latest (technically first haha) miniseries. This was written to celebrate my 100th fic. Hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
“I have an amazing idea,” Ella spoke unceremoniously as she opened up the train compartment. James, Sirius, Gaia, Remus, Violetta, Regulus and Cecelia sat in said compartment talking amongst themselves until her abrupt entrance.
“I’m not climbing on the Potter’s roof and making the stars disappear again Ella,” Sirius said immediately, taking a bite from his pumpkin pasty. Gaia snickered, remembering how much trouble the boy had gotten in with the Ministry of Magic for drunken misuse of magic.
“As funny as that would be, that’s not what I’m thinking,” Ella responded with a chuckle as she walked in. She closed the door behind her and plopped down beside her boyfriend.
“I’m talking about camping.” Everyone was surprised, out of all the things she could have said, it wasn’t that.
“Camping?” Violetta repeated, confused. Ella nodded with her constant enthusiasm, but everyone still looked unsure.
“Oh come on you guys, it’ll be fun,” she persuaded. “We’ve all had a long year, quidditch was extra hard because of the new Ravenclaw captain,” she paused when Sirius scoffed, not happy about the newest quidditch captain. “Moony, Vi and I were Prefects and had to deal with you lot, Prongs was Head Boy, and O.W.L.S. practically killed us. Now that it’s summer wouldn’t it be nice to get away from people and relax for a week?” Everyone was silent as they considered her proposition, and Violetta was the first to speak.
“That does sound a bit fun,” she said softly. “It’d be a nice little getaway for us, I don’t think I’m ready to go home yet.” The mood dampened a bit at her words. The entire group was fully aware of the Cook parents fighting over the last few weeks, Violetta had gotten a letter from her uncle that said her father was staying with him for the time being. Remus smiled sympathetically, grabbed his girlfriend’s hand, then looked around.
“If Birdie’s in, then so am I,” he stated. Sirius smiled a bit and glanced at Gaia.
“It’d be nice to get away from the city,” he commented, and Gaia nodded before looking at Ella.
“We’re in.” Ella smiled brightly when Regulus said he’d come as well.
“Someone’s gotta keep you guys out of trouble,” Cecelia added with a giggle. The only one who hadn’t answered was James, so everyone stared at him expectantly. He barely had to look around before grinning at Ella.
“Yeah, let’s do it.”
Tumblr media
Plans were made in record time. Everyone would go home and pack for two days then leave that next Monday, all meeting at the Potter house since they were driving a van that Fleamont and Euphemia had purchased for events such as this. It was a sprinter van they’d gotten for relatively cheap and had multiple custom luxury conversions so the passengers would have a comfortable drive.
The group met up at 9:00 a.m. to head to Stardust Campground, which was close to a three hour drive. James would drive for the first hour and a half then they’d make a pitstop and Remus would drive the rest of the way. The others mostly slept because of having to be at the Potters so early, but Ella stayed awake with James when he drove, then Violetta did the same for Remus.
They finally arrived and used magic to set up their tents by the considerably large lake in the campground. From the outside they looked like regular tents, but they were much more spacious on the inside. Once it had all been set up, they changed into their bathing suits and went into the lake to combat the hot weather. Everyone had been exhausted by the time night came. They barely got through dinner before the couples began wandering back to their tents one by one. First it was James and Ella, who had been awake the longest, followed by Remus and Violetta. Regulus and Cecelia were next and Sirius and Gaia were the last to go to bed.
It was 4:17 a.m. according to Remus’s phone. It was so late- er, well it was so early. So where was Violetta? After waiting for close to twenty minutes, the Veela girl hadn’t returned, and Remus decided to look for her. Thankfully he didn’t have to look long, Violetta was sitting on a dock that stood over the lake looking content. She was still in her pajamas, her silvery blonde hair braided and resting over her right shoulder. Remus couldn’t help but laugh and shake his head. Violetta had always been an early bird, he should have known that going camping wouldn’t change that.
She looked so peaceful and candid, Remus thought. He knew once everyone else was up it’d be chaos, so he wanted to capture the moment. As quiet as he could manage, the boy tiptoed back into their tent and grabbed a camera his father allowed him to borrow for the trip. He continued his silent walk outside and held his camera up to capture the moment. The sky had become a bit lighter as the sun readied to rise above the horizon and Violetta now stood at the edge of the dock. She had a few pebbles by her feet and she was now skipping one every few seconds. Remus lifted the camera and took a picture, perfectly capturing her skipping another rock as the sky went from a deep blue to mauve. It was an amazing sight to see, and an even better picture to look back and watch.
When he looked up from his camera, he noticed Violetta was now facing him. He could see her grin as she lifted her hand and waved him over. A grin appeared on his face and he held up a finger as if to say ‘one sec.’ He put the camera away and made his way over to the dock.
“I saw you take a picture of me stalker,” she teased once he reached her. His face became significantly redder and he began stuttering out an excuse, but she only giggled in response.
“I’m kidding Moony. Was it at least a good picture?” Remus laughed and nodded.
“They always are,” he responded simply. Pink dusted the girl’s cheeks and she giggled again. Remus never understood how someone could be so cheery in the morning, but he never complained about it since he had no reason.
“The sun is rising in a few minutes, did you want to watch it with me?” She inquired hopefully. How could he say no to that adorable look?
“I’d love to.” Violetta smiled brightly then leaned down and grabbed two pebbles, holding one out for him.
“Just to pass the time,” she explained as he took it. “Do you know how to skip rocks?” He gave her an incredulous look.
“Was I born yesterday?” He joked in response. She rolled her eyes in response then reeled back and tossed the rock. It skipped three times before finally sinking near the center of the lake. Remus pursed his lips, impressed by it. When she turned to him expectantly, he followed her lead and tossed the rock into the lake. He quickly became embarrassed when it barely skipped once before sinking.
“That’s okay Rem, I’ve been doing this all morning so I’ve had practice,” she comforted him. He was still annoyed, but her words made him feel better. They continued to skip rocks for a few minutes, but just as Remus began to skip another rock, Violetta rested a hand on his upper arm which made him stop mid-throw.
“Look,” was all she said, eyes on the sky in front of them. As she took a seat where she originally stood, he lowered his hand and followed her gaze as he sat beside her. What he saw quite frankly took his breath away. The horizon started off azure blue, then it faded into the same mauve purple as earlier. A mix of rosy pink and brilliant orange covering the rest of the area as the sun peeked over the water on the horizon. It was truly a sight worth seeing. That wasn’t what Remus was looking at though, no his eyes were trained on the girl beside him.
The wonder in her eyes was one of the most fantastic things he’d ever witnessed. When Violetta saw something as beautiful as a sunrise or sunset, her eyes would become wide with awe. Her demeanor always changed so she was leaning forward to get a closer look. She so often had that look on her face, but it never got old for him. If he could have it his way, he’d discover new things every day just to see it over and over again.
It didn’t take long for Violetta to realize he had been watching her. She turned her head and caught him red handed. He blushed in embarrassment and laughed as she spoke.
“You are so cliche Remus! Watching me while I’m watching the sunrise, how often do you read that in romance books?” She teased lightly. He rolled his eyes playfully and leaned back on his hands.
“What can I say? You make me feel like a cliche Angel,” he responded coolly. She smiled softly and placed a gentle kiss on his cheek before leaning her head on his shoulder.
Once the sun was in the sky they decided to head back to the tents and make breakfast for everyone, as they knew they’d be waking up soon. Though Violetta preferred to cook it the muggle way, Remus had to remind her that it wasn’t as effective or quick. The others walked out just as the couple began serving plates.
“How in the world can you two be so perky so early in the morning?” James grumbled groggily after watching Remus and Violetta talk animatedly about the sunrise.
“It’s been a good day,” Violetta answered with a shrug.
“It’s six a.m.” Gaia deadpanned, making the others snicker. Remus rolled his eyes.
“Hey, it’s not our fault you lot aren’t morning people.”
“Since when have you been a morning person?” Sirius questioned as Violetta and Ella got into conversation.
“Since I saw Violetta watching the sunrise this morning,” he responded without needing to think, taking a bite of bacon. James jokingly gagged at the sentiment, making Cecelia roll her eyes at him.
“Oh shut up James. It’s not Moony’s fault that you can’t be romantic,” she teased, making everyone else laugh. Remus wrapped an arm around Violetta’s shoulders and placed a kiss on her cheek. Oh yeah, he could definitely get used to being a morning person.

Anonymous asked:
For the headcanon memes; 2,4,6
Anonymous asked:
5,9, 10!
[Tidbits Headcanons!]
2.) Is your muse a good kisser?
No, no she is not.-- Ten has never kissed anyone in her entire lifetime, and since (prior to the events of this blog) she’s always been in big-Dark mode, there was never really a need or desire. The best she’s ever done is nuzzle her entire head against Chip, which wasn’t so much a kiss (because sibs) as... Basically her nuzzling the air because he was tiny.
4.) What does your muse wear to sleep?
The blood of the innocents. Strictly speaking? I doubt she ‘sleeps’ all that much.-- Sleep reminds her of being trapped under the crust, and technically, when she awakens from her million-or-so-years nap, she’s been resting for AGES.... So she doesn’t sleep whatsoever. Guess this means if she got a job she’d be good at the night shift! (I’m not counting the golden ‘bracelet’ that is permanently affixed to her tail.)
5.) What does your muse normally wear?
Also nothing, save the bracelet. Tenebrosity has spent her entire existence in the lava-filled depths between core and crust, so she’s never had a need for clothing before. However, since she’ll probably (eventually) wear clothes out on the surface, I figure she’d have outfits based on her color scheme (dark purple/black, blue, pink, pale-yellow) and outfits based on her brother’s color scheme (semi-burnt red, white, green, amber).
6.) What is your muse’s earliest memory?
The core of the planet rushing up to greet her, the feel of lava soaking into every pore and crevice as she turned back, the whisper of her very nature echoing across an empty, unfeeling space.... And then the crust formed over her, and the outer universe was no more. The burning cavern between crust and center is all she has ever known.
9.) What plans does your muse have for the future?
Aside from what she’s been doing since time began, nothing.- Tenebrosity knows that she will one day have to return to beneath the surface, return to that cycle that has made her the villain, return to being the villain.... So for now, she will enjoy what time she has up above, before she is inevitably pulled down.
10.) What physical trait is emphasized on your muse?
Hm... I never really gave it much thought. If we’re talking by outside forces, then obviously her more villainous aspects would be emphasized, which is a bit harder to achieve when you have some of the population who share physical traits with Dark Gaia (namely the horns). In terms of what Dark Gaia was thinking about the most when she made her disguise, she’d point to the tuft of fur at the end of her tail.- It’s based as much as possible off of the fur-texture of her brother, so that she never feels lonely (even when she’s so far away from her sibling). Most of her other features she’s nervous/on-edge about, since she’s tried to make herself appear like a normal mobian (which resulted in a mish-mash of physical features, although hybrids are common in my Sonic worlds so she really shouldn’t worry toooooo much).

Gaia Gang Running Jokes
I made a joke about Beta liking Old World memes the other day, and that got me thinking about the Gaia Gang/A-Team and what running/inside jokes they might have. Not sure if these are any good?
Also please feel free to add your own :D
*pointing at a poisonous plant* "Hey Zo, can I eat this?"
Whenever Aloy isn't around, everyone else brainstorms ideas for new titles/nicknames they can call her. The important part is that they never directly reveal the fact that they made them up, leaving Aloy to wonder if she's going to get bombarded with new nicknames next time she stops by a settlement. (On at least one occasion, Kotallo went out of his way to include Hekkaro in on the joke, much to Aloy's utter bafflement)
*holding up random Old World trinkets* "You see, this here is a Gigglegripper 3000, which the Old Ones used to trim nose hairs-" "Actually that's the JumbleHopper 4000, a tool for determining whether or not it's raining." "You're thinking of the WetWorks WhipperSnapper Dry XL LUXE edition, this is-" and so forth. Becomes way more prominent if Sylens or Tilda are around.
Constant half-joking debates about whether Aloy is Sobeck's daughter or Gaia's daughter, and if Gaia is technically Sobeck's daughter. Usually gets complicated further by someone asking if Current Gaia counts as the same person as Gaia Prime, and then someone suggesting that Current Gaia is actually Aloy's daughter (because Aloy did restore her, after all). Although things could be even further complicated (to a humorous degree) by the idea that Aloy is Sobeck (renewed/extended/reborn/reincarnated, whatever you want to call it), everyone knows that Aloy wouldn't be comfortable with the notion, so they exclude that from their joking.
"So Aloy is Sobeck's daughter, and Gaia Prime is Sobeck's daughter, but Current Gaia is Aloy's daughter?" "No no no, Aloy is Gaia Prime's daughter, Gaia Prime is Sobeck's daughter, so Aloy is Sobeck's granddaughter. Current Gaia both is and is not the same as Gaia Prime, and is Aloy's daughter. Therefore, Aloy's daughter is also her mother, and her sister is genetically her grandmother :)" (cue Aloy looking incredibly exasperated in the background)
*Aloy is about to leave the base* "Hey, wait, you almost forgot the most important tool of all!" *hands her a fucking rock*
Jokingly blaming Ted Faro for literally anything going wrong. Accidentally spilled your food? Ugh, way to go, Ted. The machine you killed doesn't have that part you needed? *sarcastic* Thanks, Ted! It takes a while for Alva to adjust, but after she joins the team it becomes one of her favorite jokes, though she also suggests occasionally swapping out "Ted" with "Ceo".
Sometimes folks will use "we/ours/us" in cases where "I/my/me" would be more appropriate, mainly in an attempt to remind Aloy that she's not alone. However, over time it evolved and now she uses it to her advantage. "Aloy... we need to talk about your hoarding problem. There are literally over a thousand medicinal berries in your stash!" "Don't you mean our hoarding problem?"
*handing something very light to Kotallo or Erend* "can you hold this" or "this is heavy, please carry it for me" or one of those followed by several seconds of silence prior to the realization that the prankster has, in fact, initialized hand holding
At one point Alva makes an offhand comment about the Old World concept of an "Evil Clone" (specifying that it was a common trope in Old World media), and there's a brief, uncomfortable moment before everyone immediately agrees that neither Aloy nor Beta are anything close to an evil clone. Eventually it becomes a running joke to point at masked/concealed enemies (and sometimes ones whose faces are clearly visible) and ask if they're an evil clone of Aloy

While I love BDG as much as the next guy, whenever I see people quoting the Sonic unravelled, I can't help but note that Sonic has, in fact, canonically killed at least one god (maybe two), and has defeated several more!
A short list:
Solaris, the god of the sun. In Sonic '06, Sonic went back in time to when Solaris had only just been born as a tiny flame, and blew him out! Literal, actual, canonical god murder.
The Time Eater from Sonic Generations. Technically an extradimensional being that can control/consume time, but honestly, that's about as close to a time god as you can get without explicitly calling it that. Sonic completely tore it apart, which reads a lot like murder to me!
Dark Gaia, the god of darkness. From Sonic Unleashed. Sonic did not KILL Dark Gaia, but did beat him up pretty good and cause him to prematurely fall into another millenium long slumber. Pretty impressive considering that Dark Gaia is the size of the planet's core!
Chaos, the god of destruction. And, you know, presumably chaos. And guardian of the chao. In Sonic Adventure, Sonic also did not kill Chaos, but he did beat him up with friendship until he remembered to be a good guy again! That was also pretty impressive, because at the time he was a water monster that had flooded an entire city and was attacking Sonic with an OCEAN
Alf Layla wa-Layla from Sonic and the Secret Rings. Not TECHNICALLY a god, more a demon genie, but given his whole thing was having the power to create or destroy worlds (of the arabian nights), I think it basically counts! He's pretty much a god in context. Sonic beats him up with the power of hate and traps him in a lamp for forever because he's a bitch.
I'm sure there are more I'm forgetting but that's just a short list of gods Sonic has beaten or killed.
Tl;dr, Sonic not only can, but has killed god! Sonic lore is so fun
(also of note, there are a couple of enduring fan theories that sonic is, in fact, either a god or something similar! theres that too)

Bless you, my friend. Bless you.

the character i least understand
Gotta be Quan, Vivi's Grandpa. He is the most puzzling character to me. There's evidence that he cared for Vivi but that he also, for a good amount of time, was planning on eating the kid. There's also the entire special scene between him, Vivi, and Quale, and like, I have gotten dizzy interpreting the dialogue. How did he die? Did he die starving? From imagining food and not actually eating? He's a chef that believes the only way to experience food is by not eating it but byimagining it?? Is this some kind of Socrates message on how deeper thinking and metacognition leads to truly being alive?? I don't know???????!!!!
interactions i enjoyed the most
There are seriously so many but if I had to choose just one it has to be Steiner and Zidane. I love them So. Much. Their development into trusted comrades is one of my favorite relationships in the entire game and one of my favorite's in fiction in general. It's my favorite thing period. I'll say it. And there is not enough content of them. People won't give me Steiner and Zidane friendship and shenanigans? Fine. I'll do it myself. I'll write for them until I'm dead. Steiner really started the game promising Garnet he'd give his life for her and that he would see to it that Zidane was HUNG for his "crimes," and then ends the game telling Zidane he'd march into HELL with him (Japanese translation). He never even said that to GARNET. Their friendship is so slept on. SO slept on and its one of the most compelling. HELL, people. He'd go to HELL for Zidane. He'd DIE for him. A THEIF HE SCORNED. STEINER would gladly go to the GALLOWS with and for Zidane. I can't... I... I gotta go. Gotta lie down.
the character who scares me the most
Does the Iifa Tree count? If I say Soul Cage maybe that will. The living tree that takes the living and replaces them with souls of the long dead is really horrifying to me. There's also the theory that Necron is the other side of the Soul Cage, the embodiment of death that is part of the Iifa Tree, a parasite that has rooted itself in every inch of Gaia. It's creepy and perfect. I just love how FFIX flips the "tree of life" troupe on its head with the Iifa Tree which is very much a purgatory or hell for souls, sentencing them to wander the earth as Mist. Terrifying! I love it!
the character who is mostly like me
I very much relate to Zidane's easy breezy attitude with high, suppressed levels of anxiety and doubt. I also very much relate to his mom friend woes.
hottest looks character
Hottest is so weird for me but if we're talking objectively I gotta say Hilda. Dead stop she's gorgeous and her design is impeccable. Cid was a fool and I am thankful he was forced to suffer as an Oglop and Frog for the entire game. Perish Cid.
one thing i dislike about my fave character
Only thing I dislike about Zidane is that he called Vivi a brat and told him to shut up, in Pandemonium. I gasped during my first playthrough. I'll never forgive him.
one thing i like about my hated character
I don't really hate anyone in FFIX. I honestly enjoy all their contributions to the story and game. But I'll pick Brahne? Just because she's a murderer and terrible mother. I really like the bit of mystery left with her character and her feelings for Dagger. Some of her finally words are "I hear my daughter's voice," but it always struck me that this is said just after the fact that we've learned that Dagger is not her true daughter. There was a Princess Garnet (the 1st let's call her) before Dagger. Yet when on death's doors - in the same way that Dagger says that Brahne is her only mother - based on her words, to Brahne, Dagger is her only daughter. Which is so extremely tragic because Garnet the 1st was completely erased and forgotten. For a parent, losing a child is often said to be one of the worst pains imaginable. Some will go on to have another child but it will never erase the one they lost. And yet here's Brahne, ridding all memory of her original Garnet. It is haunting. It really gives an insight on how this woman handled grief - which was not at all. Perhaps that is why she turned to war and power after her husband's death. The implications of Garnet the 1st is a detail I cannot stop thinking about and it makes Brahne all the more compelling to me. A bitterweet part of me likes to think that after the game ends Dagger decides to create a grave for the true princess, the little six-year-old child who died twice: once in death and twice in memory.
a quote or scene that haunts me
"The sunset makes the Eidolon Wall look like it's on fire!" There's something about this scene and the fact that a beautiful memory of the Eidolon Wall from her past is what triggers Dagger's memory of her home, burning with the Invincible's flames. Every time I play this part of the game, Dagger's flashback on the boat and the subsequent sequence between her and Eiko move me to tears .
a death that left me indifferent
Probably Mog. Only because, no matter how much I love FFIX, the Mount Gulug section overall feels a little lacking which is because of the execution of Mog's transform/sacrifice/and the events that follow. I do think it's a symptom of an overall problem in Disc 3 which may simply be the result of the opening of the game map and player freedom. The is though, that you have Eiko losing Mog, her sister, a huge emotional moment, when its extremely easy for you, the player, to forget about Mog entirely!! Of course you may likely play as Eiko in the Desert Palace but that's optional and Mog never makes an appearance!! There's no real lead up for the scene on Disc 3 that emotional prepares us. Mog's sacrifice would have been more impactful had she made an appearance in the Desert Palace or during the start of Disc 3 in Alexandria. Eiko has all this time alone for character self-reflection and Mog is technically there, hidden in her shirt, but she never appears for greater impact. There's just too much allotted game time between the events in Madain Sari and the events at Gulug Mountain.
a character i wish died but didn’t
Vivi. Must I say more?
my ship that never sailed
Blank and Ruby are forever in that "too hard headed to make anything meaningful come from their constant bickering." I both love and mourn their stagnant friends to lovers state. They'll never be canon but the post-game potential for them is excellent.

Was there ever a Sonic antagonist/rival that you wish SEGA gave more attention to? Maybe not making them a mainstay like Eggman, but at least bringing them back once in a while instead of having them appear in one game, then dipping?
Mostly? No. Let's look at who we're working with here:
Metal Sonic: He's constantly being brought back as the defacto subordinate of Eggman. This will upset some hardcore lore heads, but if you count all variants, Metal Sonic has appeared in Sonic CD, Sonic 2, Sonic & Knuckles, Knuckles Chaotix, Sonic R, Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, was intended to appear in Sonic 06 as DLC, Sonic 4, Sonic Generations, Sonic Boom, and Sonic Forces. That's also ignoring a lot of the portable games, where he showed up often. He will probably be in Sonic Rangers and is getting added to Sonic Colors Ultimate Edition. I love Metal Sonic though so it's cool.
Knuckles: Much like Metal Sonic, Knuckles is a mainstay of the series. He's probably been in more games than Metal, come to think of it.
Chaos: He got reformed at the end of Sonic Adventure so he's technically not a villain anymore. I'm sure there's more they could do with him, though, but his story is finished.
Shadow the Hedgehog: In the same category as Metal Sonic and Knuckles.
Mephiles/Iblis/Solaris: Good riddance, I say. Mephiles is basically just "The Evil Twin of an Evil Twin" and that's just bad storytelling in my book. Iblis is nothing more than just a big angry kaiju with zero personality, and Solaris is... too weird to be anything notable? Solaris barely even classifies as a monster, it's more just this shape that attacks. Which fits, given it's supposed to be this incomprehensible entity controlling all of space and time. It should probably look weird and unknowable. But it's also not something you can just bring back.
Erazor Djinn: Dude is not a major player. He exists exclusively in the realm of his book. What would he even want to do if he escaped? I'm not even sure he wanted to escape. He just wanted to rule the world of his story, didn't he? I guess I never finished Secret Rings. Point is, Sonic left that world and it seemed pretty wrapped up nice and neat.
Merlina: Her whole thing is that she was worried people would forget about her world's story. She wasn't ever really evil, just deeply afraid and maybe lonely. But, again, like Erazor Djinn, everything about her felt very self-contained and it would be weird bringing her out of that story and back for more.
Dark Gaia: They pretty explicitly say that Dark Gaia only comes once every epoch. More could be explored there, I guess, but fighting the creature of Dark Gaia itself doesn't seem like something worth revisiting.
Nega Mother Wisp: Along the lines of Iblis, this is less of a character to revisit and more just a monster. The circumstances of which don't really make sense revisiting. I know wisps are still around, but "oh no the nega mother wisp is back too!" seems weird and cheap to me.
The Time Eater: I don't know what this thing is and Sonic Generations doesn't explain it. Honestly? I'd be fine with a new game at least referencing The Time Eater. It could be related to Solaris. It could be a side effect of all of Sonic's time travel alterations, like The Dahaka or The Langoliers. The Time Eater feels important and they neglected to explain anything about it. They didn't even hint about it.
The Deadly Six: No.
Infinite: He's cut from the same cloth as Mephiles and feels like Dollar Store Shadow the Hedgehog. Oh here's this totally epic brooding rival with a mysterious magical power! Boring. We already have those. I'd be fine if he never comes back, because he's super generic and forgettable. At least Mephiles had "half of the devil's soul" as his character trait.
People like to say that Fang the Sniper needs to come back, but I eventually got sick of hearing that. Dude was all over the Archie comics for years and was in a fair few games: four or five, almost six if you count Sonic X-treme. He had his time and we don't need him coming back in every single game. Or even every other game.
But yeah. I dunno. I don't feel an especially strong connection with any of these guys where I feel like I want them to be returning characters.

Traveling with HADES is pure hell, that’s for sure.
Aloy expected him to be annoying, yes. Irritating, terrible to be around, absolutely horrifying, everything you can imagine, yes. But she never, ever, expected him to be like this.
Every single time he could annoy her without risking getting abandoned or buried in the ground, forever trapped in his lantern-shaped prison, he would. Every time he could make a noise, an unecessary comment or even remind Aloy of all the destruction she could have avoided, he would do exactly that.
And, to put the cherry on top, he realized, during the third day of travel, that he could annoy her by singing. A low and persistent sound of Old-One’s chants that HADES insisted were war ones, but Aloy was sure he was lying about that.
They were now a single day away from GAIA Prime, and HADES was singing for the last seven hours the same song.
Aloy was this close to madness. This close, but she was telling herself, for the last seven hours, that she survived multiple murder attempts, the Sun-Ring and the Battle of the Spire (and, of course, this isn’t counting the last travel to Nora lands. Aloy didn’t want to think about that. Too much guilt, too much everything), she would survive HADES being a huge prick.
“NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP, NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN”, he repeated, while Aloy tried to focus on finding a place to set camp to. “NEVER GONNA RUN AROUND AND DESERT YOU”.
Maybe she should try to block the sound with the carja silks, but he could simply raise his tone. She could get rid of him, and he believed she would do this, but, in reality, HADES was the best place to start trying to work her mind around restoring GAIA. So, it would be better for her to tolerate him, just a little bit more.
But, shit, how did she wish she could simply shut him up. At least he wasn’t screaming the songs when she was trying to sleep.
Aloy tried to ignore HADES while she was setting camp. She overrided a watcher to keep vigilant during the night, ate her latest (animal) hunt, and prepared herself to sleep next to the campfire.
HADES didn’t stop with the singing. At least he changed the song - something about rocking hurricanes, whatever that meant.
That was when Aloy discovered she wasn’t going to sleep. Not with her mind brainstorming and trapping itself on scenarios about GAIA Prime and how she would find the other subfunctions. Maybe CYAN could help her around? If only Aloy could discover how...
She sighed, ignoring HADES trapped next to the campfire, away from the overriden machines and from her. Maybe Aloy could try calming herself with Elisabeth’s voice - her conversations with GAIA were reassuring. Not because they were talking about comforting things, that’s for sure, but the voices were something Aloy enjoyed listening to.
She started to scroll throught the audiologs, the Focus' blue and violet lights being everything she wanted to see at that moment, and Aloy soon found what she was looking for.
The huntress closed her eyes as Elisabeth's voice appeared. Just a casual conversation, about a story of her childhood, about her own mother, and about what Elisabeth wished her daughter would be like.
Aloy asked herself if she could be this type of daughter. She wished she could, to make Elisabeth and GAIA proud, protect what they and everyone else worked so hard for — technically, she already did that. She saved the world, she helped people, but it would not be enough. Aloy had to restore GAIA, get the other subfunctions, stop the Derangement — if that was even possible —, hunt more machines. Then maybe, just maybe, they would be proud.
That was when he decided to interrupt everything.
"ENTITY SEEMS ATTACHED TO AUDIO FILES".
Aloy was never so close to burying him on the ground. "Don't you have more singing to do?"
"INCORRECT".
She rolled her eyes. The alphas were so lucky they didn't have to deal with this — heck, does HADES even know about his alpha? Or was he just like him? Urgh, Travis must have been annoying...
Wait a minute—
"You got that attitude from Sylens?"
"INCORRECT. WAS ALWAYS LIKE THIS".
"Well, you act like a bastard just like him", she responded, before goinf back to scrolling throught her own files.
"ENTITY SHOULD STOP. ENTITY DOES NOT KNOW WHAT I AM CAPABLE OF".
"Ending the world? With what extinction protocols?"
"DO NOT NEED THEM".
"So you want to end the world because someone called you a bastard? How mature".
"INCORRECT. ENTITY—".
"Do you remember your alpha? Travis?"
"NO", the response was immediate. Almost too immediate. "I DO NOT REMEMBER TRAVIS TATE".
"But you do remember who he is", she pointed out, now searching for an audiolog. She knew he waa lying.
"I DO NOT REMEMBER—".
Here. She had found exactly what she wanted.
"Hoo — so mama, she was right!"
The AI stopped talking in that exact same moment.
"Pardon?"
"My mother — she took the Bible seriously...".
Aloy waited until the audio was over to look at HADES, and he was quiet, left without any words. No commentaries, no insults, nothing. Even his form inside the lantern looked smaller than before.
"So you do remember him", Aloy whispered.
"INCORRECT".
"If you stay quiet, I can show you more of him".
"THIS DATA IS IRRELEVANT TO ME".
"So your own creator is irrelevant to you?"
"INCORRECT".
Now that was a quick response.
"Well, okay", Aloy said. "If you want to not cooperate, fine. I will just leave you at GAIA Prime".
She laid down on her makeshift bed.
Tomorrow would be a thought day.

For this event, Tropesters had to create a story with the Western theme of their choice and include four tropes of their choice with at least one trope from the Western section! Thanks to all our AMAZING writers, these fics were as Wild as the West and we are so glad you decided to share them with us!!
———
It’s The Chance Of A Lifetime (In A Lifetime Of Chance) (Rated T) [Emori x Gustus]
Summary: Emori gets in trouble with the law, and is given the choice of jail or time working at a dude ranch. She’s never even touched a horse before, but anything beats jail, right? And what happens when ranch life might just be the best things that’s ever happened to her?
if the morning light sets in, we’ve cheated fate again (Rated T) [Bellarke]
Summary: The wild west is unforgiving. Bellamy Blake and his sister are on the run with a bounty on their heads, and that’s just the beginning. They stumble upon a town that’s on the verge of ruin, plagued by a mysterious illness and only populated by other teenagers. With help from both Blake siblings, the town’s leader is hopeful that they can help discover the root of what’s going. And maybe Clarke Griffin will in turn help Bellamy discover more about himself along the way.
What better way to raise hell (Rated NR) [Clarke x Josephine]
Summary: After a tragic end to their high life of scamming and robbery, Clarke makes a drastic move to keep Josephine alive. Now they’re moving to a ghost town, the only place that’s safe for them, and where Josie will fit in.
It was supposed to be a quiet life, somewhere to see their days out together. But Clarke’s not made for a quiet life, she buys the old Saloon and brings a dead town back to life. But her wild days soon come and catch up with her - and desperate times mean desperate measures.
Mountain Lion Mean (Rated M) [Gen Fic]
Summary: Marcus Kane’s body shows up again six months after his disappearance, in the master bedroom of the Kane ranch house, holding a new will in one of its skeletal hands. Arkadia hasn’t seen this much excitement since his stepdaughter was investigated for his murder—the inquiry was dropped, of course, because the body was never found. Now the house, the land, the accounts, the bank stocks, and a previously unknown stockpile of cash in the backyard all belong to Clarke Griffin and her husband.
Funny how no one knew Clarke was married.
And now it looks like the bank won’t foreclose on the Blake Family ranch after all.
you will be the light (Rated T) [Harper x Murphy]
Summary: On his way to Sanctum to start a new life (and flee from his past), Murphy comes across the nearly abandoned Arkadia, a town still clinging to the old ways of life and dealing with a nameless outlaw threatening their continued survival. All he needs is some water and a new horse… so why does he end up helping them?
A highwayman comes riding— riding—riding— (Rated M) [Gabriel x Josephine]
Summary: While on a school trip to a museum set on the grounds of an old, historic ranch, Madi learns the true tragedy of Josie Lightbourne and her bandit lover Gabriel.
Kissin’ ‘Tav Blake (Rated T) [Linctavia]
Summary: Jordan Jasper Green is a kid that is cursed with bad luck. A curse that began with his no-good-dirty-rotten-horse-stealing-great-great-grandfather and has followed generations of Greens ever since.
Eden Lake is a town that had been cursed with a drought for over a century. A curse that began the day Lincoln, the onion man, was killed.
This is the story of how these curses came to be and intertwined to change the lives of their curse-bearers forever.
For It’s Your Misfortune (Ain’t None of My Own) (Rated T) [Memori]
Summary: Emori feels Wells stand up straighter, and Gaia sits up from her crouch on the steps.
“Head down, Doc,” Emori says.
There’s a step on the boardwalk, then another.
“Give us a prayer, Gaia,” Wells says.
Another explosion, and more shots in the distance, and the steady steps on the boardwalk.
“Judge between us and our enemies,” Gai’s voice floats down from the stairs. “Stir up thine own strength along us, give not this battle to the strong, but those who ask thy defense. Grant a full reward as it is due.”
“Amen to that,” Murphy mumbles.
“Amen,” Gaia says.
“Emori, darling,” a light voice drawls, “I’m back.”
forever in a moment (Rated T) [Bellamy x Harper]
Summary: A time machine mishap leaves Harper and Bellamy stranded in the 1800s.
From fake pasts to a fake marriage, they’re prepared to do everything they needed in order to make it in the past.
But how can they tell where the make believe ends and reality begins?
———
Honorable Mention of this submission to TROPED’s Non-Anon Collection! It won’t be counted in the voting, but we’d love for you to read it:
And You Know That Wyoming'll Be Your New Home (Rated T) [Memori]
Summary: The man who calls himself Murphy rides west from Sangeda on a borrowed horse.
Maybe he'll be back one day.
Probably he won't be.
He rides west, and they're hot on his trail, and the ghost riding behind him laughs and tells him he's being an idiot.
Please try to read as many fics as you can, leave some kudos/comments for the authors, and don’t forget to vote! If you missed the initial deadline you can still submit your Western fics to our Non-Anon Collection at any time!

The Last War fan review
So, our beloved show has ended. And while I wish things would have gone differently, I did cry with relief when Clarke looked over and saw everyone already waiting for her.
Anyway, I wanted to share some of my thoughts on the finale.
1) Going right into the title sequence kind of shocked me. It wasn’t that big of a deal, but I was just immediately like “oh.” It was a bitch-slap in the face that they left a gap in the credits for Bob Morley. Why you gotta do us like that?
2) Murphy screaming “come on” while they used the defibrillator on Emori was heartbreaking. And his little whispered encouragements were so freaking cute.
3) Clarke rampage? Yes, please! I love me a badass woman. However, unlimited ammo is a sin in writing. The moment Octavia picked up the sword was a big “oh yes.”
4) Did Cadogan not care about his son like at all? Lmao. Why is he so hung up on Callie and not his other kid (who I can’t even remember the name of). I don’t care if they explain in the prequel, that’s still a shitty parent choosing favorites. Along with his wife, like, was she not his greatest love? It was Callie? Kinda fucked up.
5) Why the fuck could Jordan figure out it was a test and not a war in 5 seconds when the Disciples were studying that shit for decades? I know he’s Monty’s son, but he’s not a genius or anything.
6) Thoughts on the test: I think Cadogan would have failed and the human race would be destroyed. Why bother asking questions if you already know all the answers?
7) Why wasn’t Gaia in the finale like at all?? Like, what the fuck. She was hunting??? For what?? That really annoyed me because I’ve grown to really like her and there was no point in her not being involved in the last episode. They seriously couldn’t have thrown her in there? Like, come on! Even Niylah was there! (not saying that I don’t like her, it’s just that Gaia has felt far more important to the story than her).
8) I do think that Jasper and Hope are cute together, and I know they spent the majority of their lives either alone or only with their parents, but GOD I can’t stand how awkward they are. Also, I know ya’ll have feelings for each other and shit, but is now really the time to be making out?? Why do people think that’s okay in literally the worst situations? I know it’s a show, but come on.
9) And how the fuck did Jordan throw and catch that sword? He’s a child who’s never fought a day in his life. Unless they suddenly want to tell me that Harper and Monty were secret ninjas and taught him all their tricks, I don’t believe that.
10) I’m being pissy and bringing up things from the past, but I don’t care. Why the fuck couldn’t Harper and Monty gone into cryo? I know they were happy and shit, but I’M NOT. How the fuck did it take so long for him to get into the files for Sanctum? His ass has done that shit a thousand times before in about two minutes and suddenly it takes him 80 years? Bullshit.
11) I’m still being pissy, but how the fuck does Jordan know what a magician is? “For my first trick, I will make an army appear.” Bruh, no. Monty wouldn’t have known what a magician was either. If they weren’t being taught what a Navy Seal was, there’s no way they knew what magicians were. Calling bullshit on that one as well.
12) I was pretty surprised that the Disciples didn’t start firing on Wonkru immediately. Like, this is the war they’ve been gearing up for forever and they don’t attack as soon as possible? Also, where the fuck did Wonkru get their war paint? Do they just constantly have it on their person? Or did their asses literally spend time making their paint before going to Bardo?
13) I fucking love Miller and Jackson. They’re freaking adorable. Murphy’s flat “I am glad you are safe” was so fucking funny. Also, saving Emori in one scene just to kill her in the next is bullshit. They should have just killed her the first time and done the same thing anyway. Murphy screaming at Jackson to do something and sobbing was heartbreaking. Fantastic acting on Richard Harmon’s part.
14)  Octavia putting on Lincoln’s same warpaint again was once again, so sad. I miss that man. He was too good for his own good. And while I do think that her and Levitt are very cute together, I’ll always prefer her with Lincoln. But I think that he would be really happy that she has found someone new to love.
15) Apparently whatever Echo “did” to Levitt was so forgettable that I don’t even know what she’s talking about. Bad writing. I shouldn’t forget that in just a few weeks, I should remember as soon as I see the two of them in the same room.
16) Lexa. Just all of it. There were some suspicions that she would show up for the last episode, but I didn’t really believe them because I didn’t understand how she would be integrated. I’m glad that they did bring her back, but I’m also not. It was amazing to see her back by Clarke in all of her armor and glory, but knowing it wasn’t actually Lexa was just a punch in the face. It wasn’t her mind, so it’s almost like they didn’t bring her back anyway. I honestly would have preferred if they used someone else for her Judge, because that just really didn’t do it for me. Their hug was sweet, but it didn’t even count as her returning. I personally think that her Judge should have been Bellamy or Madi instead, as they both certainly could fill the role of “the subject’s greatest teacher or the source of their greatest failure...it can be their greatest love.” This is just my preference. Believe me, I know how much Lexa meant to Clarke, but as a fan, bringing our favorite Heda back in that way wasn’t the best way to do it. As a writer, it makes sense, but it doesn’t as a fan. The writers can’t just think of what is the best storytelling, they have to think of what those watching will think.
17) I’m confused about the mindspace? Why did Clarke wake up in her solitary room with her memories painted all over the walls, but Emori woke up in the castle with a view of the desert? Why wouldn’t it have been her and Murphy’s cave? Is there a reason it was the bedroom and not the cave?
18) I know this isn’t canon in any sense, but could you imagine if Murphy and Emori fought over John’s body and she won, and then suddenly woke up with a penis? How fucking funny would that be? Just had to throw that out there.
19) Can I just again reiterate how fucking cute Miller and Jackson are?
20) I’m curious about the location of the test. Why did Cadogan’s take place on a pier, while Raven’s happened on the Ark? If it was their favorite place, wouldn’t Raven’s have been actually out in space? Like during a spacewalk? I’m confused about that.
21) I knew that Raven was somehow going to be involved in the test just because of the trailers we got for the final episode. My two guesses for who the judge would be were Finn and Abby. Though I am happy that we got to see Abby again, I would be curious to see if the scene would have played out any differently if it had been Finn.
22) Where was the full line that was given in the trailer? Because that was amazing. “We’re selfish, and we’re violent, and we have destroyed too much, but we survived.” I loved that line far more than what we got instead, which was simply, “Have we made mistakes? Yes. Clarke, me, all of us, but we were just trying to survive.” I definitely would have chosen the former over the latter. Poor choice on the editors’ parts.
23) How the fuck did Octavia and Echo go out to the field and get Levitt with Echo only being shot once? With all the bullets, the three of them should have been torn apart, I don’t care how much Indra could cover Octavia. Calling bullshit on that as well.
24) Bringing this up kind of late because I’m giving my reviews as I’m rewatching the episode, but what they had Eliza do was really fucked up. Her and Bob suffered a miscarriage during the filming of season seven, so the scene of her holding Madi and crying “my baby” is like 10 times more heartbreaking. If they made her film that after having a miscarriage mere days, weeks or few months before, that’s really, really messed up.
25) They really played-up Sheidheda’s bringing back of “jus drein jus daun” in the trailer. In reality, it was far less intense. I would have preferred what I had been expecting, which was him coming to help convince Wonkru that they would be able to win. However, I am super glad that he is dead and Indra finally got to kill him. I love how that bigass gun just turns people into mist lol.
26) The beginning of Octavia’s speech was literally like “what the FUCK guys” and it was hilarious. And I swear to god if I hear her say “we are Wonkru” or “you are Wonkru” another time, I’m gonna scream. I know it was legit the last episode but I’m sick of it by now lol. When Indra was like “I hope you know what you’re doing,” Octavia’s face was just like “omg me too” and it was really funny.
27) Bellamy. His situation was a whole problem itself. He deserved a hell of a lot better and wHY DID HE CUT HIS HAIR I LIKED IT THE LONG WAY. Anyway, you can bet your ass I’ll be writing a different ending where he didn’t die because FUCK THAT. When I do, I’ll be sure to share it.
28) I’m fucking confused about Murphy and Emori both transcending. Because, what the fuck. Emori died. The dead don’t transcend. Her mind wasn’t even in her body, it was in Murphy’s. So how the fuck did she end up alive and in her own body again. I’m glad she’s alive, but I just don’t understand. It would have made way more sense to have either not had her die in the first place, or to have Murphy, Miller, and Jackson keep pumping her heart so she technically “lived” anyway like Echo.
29) If Madi had decided not to transcend, would she still have been paralyzed? I mean, I would assume not because Levitt and Hope’s gunshots were healed, as was Emori, but I’m curious. Also, wouldn’t Raven’s leg have been fixed? Because if they only fix recent wounds and not old ones, that’s stupid.
30) On the point of Madi deciding not to transcend, why did she? Why didn’t so many other people choose not to? Like, not one Eligius prisoner or person from Sanctum chose to live? No one else from Wonkru? Why didn’t anyone else other than the main cast and guest stars not transcend? I totally understand the Disciples transcending, but seriously, nobody else wanted to live? That’s really weird. Madi and her friends really couldn’t have chosen to live on Earth with Clarke and the others? I just think it’s really unrealistic that not one single person outside of the group chose not to transcend.
31) I was really surprised that Murphy and Emori chose not to transcend, because as the Judge said, they would eventually die and not join them in the infinite. It shocked me due to their fear of dying and wanting to be immortal, but I’m really proud of them.
32) I’m disappointed that those who don’t transcend can’t have children. There were suspicions that Emori might have been pregnant (which were never confirmed), but the idea of her and Murphy having a kid together was adorable. They’d have their teeny tiny families with those two, Hope and Jordan, and Octavia and Levitt.
33) This isn’t as much me pointing out a problem as me wondering, what was Clarke going to say to the Judge when she turned around? What else did she have to say or ask? Was it about Madi? Or maybe Lexa? Or just transcending in general?
34) It’s pretty shitty that some of our questions went unanswered due to the fact that there will be a prequel. On the other hand, I live for lore, so I’m just glad that they eventually will be answered. But still, that doesn’t excuse shitty writing.
35) I want to see a stupid edit of Picasso taking the test where the Judge is Madi.
I think we all know that season seven was really not what we wanted it to be. We’ve been really disappointed by the writers and unfortunately, this is what we got out of it. I believe they really could have done a better job, but I am at least glad that everyone ended up together.
The writing was lacking. Too many questions were left unanswered, I don’t care if you’re making a sequel or not. Plot holes. It really could have been a good season if it was done better.
My ranking of the seasons is as follows: 3, 2, 4, 1, 6, 5, 7. Seasons 4 and 1 are kind of interchangeable for me in spots three and four, as are 6 and 5 in the two spots behind them, whatever the order may be.
But I still love the show. I love the characters, their development, and many things about it. It has been quite the journey and I am glad to have been a fan of the show.
May we meet again.

Do you think blazar could still fill the role of a new generation gaia by just simply being the ultra after decker so instead of tdg its tdb?
Most probably no for a few reasons:
1. Blazar would be more similar to Nexus if anything
Taguchi already pointed out in the official plot synopsis on the TsuPro website that Blazar would be a "new ultraman that has never been seen before, but is still a classic and traditional one". In addition, he also specifically brings up ShinU when talking about what the series would be like
So clearly this series would be taking on a more serious and mature tone that what we're usually used to
2. Ginga is technically literally New Gen Gaia already (in spirit)
As pointed out before. Heck, even Ginga's original draft was meant to be a direct sequel to the Gaia series to commemorate Gaia's then 15th Anniversary. Even including Ginga S covers the crux (imo) of Gaia with the dynamics between Ginga and Victory. So in that sense, it would indeed be sort of redundant to actually have an actual New Gen Gaia at this point I suppose.
And not to mention the other more obvious reasons like his name, design and plot settings as well
-
But with that being said, we would most probably still catch some Gaia references in Blazar no doubt. It's even reflected in his design already as I pointed out as well very early on.
Tho I guess if one really hopes for a New (New) Gen Gaia (like me), technically its still possible for it for his 30th Anniversary in 2028, which is apparently when the New Gen Era is slated to apparently end based on the released schedule by TsuPro
Otherwise, personally at this point as a hardcore Gaia fan, I've already kinda moved on and Blazar has plenty to look forward to in and of itself.
OH WAIT if yall rmb, the leaks said months back that there's supposed to be an Agul SV live action installment this year as well isn't it? So that's another thing we can look forward to as well
(Which may be what TsuPro may also be counting down to?)
Thanks for the question!
