The absolute best MCU Tony Stark characterization I’ve ever seen with like...perfectly in character IronDad interactions + complex Peter has to come from How To Repair A Broken Heart. Tony gets Extremis and it is FANTASTICALLY terrifying. Everything is incredibly cinematic, including breathtaking action sequences that could’ve come straight from the Iron Man trilogy, heartwrenching personal struggles, political conflicts, and sci-fi elements! There’s technoporn! Tony’s struggle with his anxiety is so poignant and real, as is his ongoing battle with addiction, and his fears of becoming like his father. Peter is so realistic it hurts. Especially in his relationship with Tony, which is fraught with fights over their mutual wellbeing and Peter’s growing independence vs Tony’s need to protect him. The GoG have pretty hefty features, there’s whole new resolutions to the debacle with the infinity stones, and there is just the most INCREDIBLE “Tony Stark is a hero” moment that should have been in Endgame, tbh.  Read it. It’s fantastic and another WIP that deserves massive support.
