hi sweet tacky! thank you so much for asking me this <3 absolutely adore your list of five with some of my favorites of yours on it. It was fun to do this today when I'm feeling so far from my writing -- both to remind myself of the parts I like, and to see what has changed from times I've thought about this kind of question in the past.

Meet Me at Midnight (T, 57k) - i wanted to lean into the atmospheric dreams, and i think i did so well here! i didn't expect the social justice aspects of this when i started, but it became a good outlet for so many of the feelings i have about the world around me right now (and how different kinds of people interact differently with these issues).

Saltwater Stain (M, 9k) - this fic (and I Demand a Soft Epilogue) were some of the hardest to write, and yet came out really nicely -- the vibes are there, the creep factor is there, and (hopefully) the suspense is there too. i also felt that these characterizations were unexpectedly the most accurate to how i see harry & draco!

On Permanence (M, 2k) - this wouldn't have been on my list before, but it was being reblogged again recently and i reread it and reminded myself how much i like it. i'm all about tender touching and quiet confessions of romance and almost-love found despite difficult circumstances, so this is on the list because it feels most true to me.

Surface Texture (E, 5k, Teddy/Harry) - i often struggle to write E-rated stuff for some of the very reasons i am drawn to non-sexual intimacy and subtle confessions of one's feelings. but this fic nails it, i think, with the UST between the characters, and then when they finally touch. it's also got lots of my poly feelings in it too lol

Two Zinnias and the Scent of Lemon (M, 17k) - sometimes I wonder if I peaked when I wrote this fic! i remember the feeling of putting it together and seeing the pieces of it slot together in my head. there are things I'd edit about it now, but overall, I'm so pleased with how it came together.

okay rambles but i started creatively writing in like ... 5th grade? and. oh god just a little encouragement to anyone looking to get into writing or insecure or whatnot, but HELLS, maybe it's to he expected with my (obviously) very young age and inexperience with writing then, but my writing was really. yeah. Yeah. but then i'm what... a lot older now, obviously, and my writing has gotten leagues better. i'm probably not a good example for this bcs childhood years development stuff are different etc etc BUT practicing writing more and whatnot really does go a long way :]

What are your opinion on Lucifer and Michael i see them like brothers

Oooh, okay, good question!!

We did not get to see much of it, but back when they were both angels they had peak sibling energy since they were just midly annoying to each other (I think it was mentioned that Michael used to sneak into Luci's room at some point in the story...?) and the whole bit about Michael being "crazy about Lucifer", as Mammon so kindly put it, imo seems like a younger sibling being absolutely mesmerized with their older sibling, so I 100% agree with you about them being like brothers

That being said, it's a bit tricky to work out their exact relationship since we don't know that much about Michael. What both games did indirectly show us, however, is that he cares deeply about the people in his life. Luke mentions how he still catches him staring at the place the brothers' portraits used to hang, in NB Raphael complains about Michael worrying about Simeon and Luke since they keep forgetting to send their daily updates to the point that ends up neglecting his duties and then bombards them with all the gifts Michael had for them, and he still has a lot of keepsakes of back when Lucifer was still an angel. Which imo makes it all the more interesting that in NB Michael seems to hold a small grudge against the brothers (while still caring about them). I really hope we get to see a little more of that

Lucifer on the other hand seems fairly neutral in NB. I actually feel like he never really held any malice against Michael after the Celestial War to begin with, especially considering how he immediately thought that Michael was the one that gave MC the Ring of Light no matter which option you pick. To me it seems like he believes that Michael sent MC to the Devildom to look after them, and from Luci's perspective it would also explain why MC kept trying to help them adjust and kept inserting themself into their business

Fastforward to the og game, and their relationship seems to be in a good place again. Luke does mention that he thinks it's not fair that Michael still loves and cares for the brothers so deeply while they have moved on and don't really seem to care much about him anymore, but in regards to Lucifer that's not true imo. Like yeah, Lucifer doesn't really bring him up, but to be fair it'd also be kind of weird for him to? First of, Lucifer is the Avatar of Pride. No way he'd just publicly admit that he misses Michael or still cares about him. Also he's a demon now with a whole new set of responsibilities to deal with, and he doesn't really have any constant reminder of his time back in the Celestial Realm the same way Michael does with the missing portraits. Imagine if they were prepping for the play for the school festival and Lucifer just starts talking about Michael all of a sudden. Would be weird as hell

Plus, he does reminisce about his time as an angel whenever it makes sense for him to, and he seems very fond of his memories and usually ends up talking about Michael in some form, like that time Raphael fell asleep from drinking too much Demonus and it reminded him of Michael and the two of them drinking together

Speaking of drinking Demonus--I headcanon that part of the reason Lucifer collects and enjoys Demonus so much is because it reminds him of all the times all the seraphs went drinking together

Also, Lucifer and Michael are actually still in touch. In the Devilgram 'A Job From Michael' Luke and MC tail Lucifer since Michael asked Luke to. Lucifer then later explains that Michael actually gave him some advice on how to deal with his brothers and adds that Michael was probably curious if Lucifer actually followed through, which is why he asked Luke to keep him updated

So yeah, they're definitely not as close as they used to be, but all in all they seem to be on good terms again

HAHA. SO. YOU KNOW HOW IVE BEEN MAKING EDITS OF NOAH AND CODY KISSING IN PLACE OF CANON COUPLES.

Initially, I had planned on making only one short comic for the Boyfriend Kisser kiss, entailing replacing Gwen with Noah and Courtney with Sierra in the musical number. When I got to the first kiss, however.

It helps that Noco in world tour was made incredibly special to me thanks to a fanfiction I had read of it when I was 12-13, but finally making it to the WT part of the edits got me exited enough to make a short comic for the first kiss. After making that comic I recalled the rest of the kisses I had ahead of me and. Saw a string tying them all together. The more time passed, the more detailed the story got.

I honestly didn’t mean for it to get so elaborate, but that’s what happens to the things I’m passionate about I suppose. I’m kinda glad it did, though! It’s been a lot of fun making something like this, and I’m glad there’s people that enjoy it as much as I do!
