Anonymous asked: Hi ilove ur writings so much ur so talented im so happy that ur back again, if ur taking requests could u please write one daemon targaryen with hightower reader or reader having feelings for him but he marries laena and afterwards rhaenyra also with something like betrayal during the dance i know im just rumbling but i trust you would make a masterpiece ur so good with ideas and words thank you.
He hates your father. Your father hates him. Naturally, it was the Gods-ordained start of a torrid, love affair.
Your father tapped the stem of his chalice and you took to your cue. Swift and in silence, as if to be invisible, you darted over to the Hand of the King. With a slight tilt of the wine pitcher, Arbor Red trickled into the half-empty cup with only the slightest noise. Then, you did a round about the table, checking the chalices of King Viserys, the Master of Coin, and so forth, pouring where more libations were needed. All while being imperceptible.
Though, from his seat as the newly appointed Master of Laws, Daemon Targaryen always seemed to see you. His eyes would trace your path during conversations of grave importance, like tithes and taxes, matters that needed legislation. Matters that needed an attentive Master of Laws, which Daemon was not. At least, not when you did your rounds.
And you could feel it, his watching. His eyes would linger on you as you found your place beside the cups and bottles once more. He would smile too, a wry expression that reached his eyes in a far too charming way and had you gritting your teeth with annoyance.
“He’s no good, Daemon.”
“The next Maegor, unless Viserys denounces him.”
“Our House will be at risk if Daemon ever sits the Throne.”
“Stay yourself away from him.”
“Daemon has a distaste for Hightower green.”
At first, you discounted your father’s words. The feud between Otto Hightower and Prince Daemon was no secret, particularly to the Hightower children. You and Alicent had endured countless recountings of court and reports of debauchery in Flea Bottom, all of which Daemon featured heavily. So countless that your father’s warnings echoed in your head whenever you met the Rogue Prince’s gaze. His eyes gleamed like signal fires; his voice rang like the siege bells.
In Small Council meetings, he was loud, pushing for laws that tightened the Crown’s grip on King’s Landing, and bright, weaving between Otto’s advice to Viserys with the cold logic of a battle-hardened knight. Daemon was everything your father warned you about, everything and more; and how alluring that more was when it shone through.
“Curating a select force of warriors to maintain the King’s peace within the city walls is vital to strengthening your entire governance, brother.”
“In the Small Council chamber, you will address his majesty King Viserys as such,” your father intervened, waving a dismissive hand at Daemon. “How do you aim to keep his peace when you fail to address your King as befitting your station.”
Daemon rolled his eyes right into you, despite your cupbearer station being tucked in the shadows of two pillars. He smiled at you, a softer thing than usual and in it, you saw that more. You felt in tickle in your chest, how it reached out from there like blooming flower petals, spreading itself until its newness was all you could detect.
So clouded by Daemon you were that you missed how your father saw everything, and everything Daemon was in his politicking mind. He coughed, and the sound broke you out of your reverie with a start. You nearly started off with the wine pitcher towards your father, but Otto placed a palm over his glass while the other squeezed at the ceramic ball that denoted his presence at the meeting.
“If we can move forth to more pressing matters, there is the cost and planning of the Princess Rhaenyra’s upcoming nameday tourney. That is if you wish to repeat the celebration from the year previous, my King?”
“Yes, of course. Though, leave the day of her birth itself unimpeded by plans. She wants the family to picnic in the Dragonpit.”
“That will ease the expense,” Lord Beesbury noted, a smile stretching through the wrinkles in his aged face.
“Not that the coffers are waning, yes?” Your father was quick to ask. Lord Beesbury began bumbling out an answer when Daemon cut through the chatter.
“Cupbearer,” you flicked your head and saw the Prince raise his chalice above the heads at the table. “I find myself in need of more wine.”
Heat eeked into your face at his calling out, but you quickly made your way over to him with the pitcher in hand. The metal of the vessel cooled you slightly, but you were warmed back to life almost as soon as you stood by Daemon. Heat seemed to emanate from him as if a fire burned beneath his skin. It didn’t help that, as you stood and poured the Arbor Red into his chalice, Daemon’s hand brushed against you.
Through the fabric that covered your thigh, you felt his knuckles. His touch shocked you into a shudder, a gesture unbecoming of a Small Council cupbearer, and you fought to regain your composure as the back of his knuckles continued to stroke. Your steady pour slowed as Daemon fell into a sort of pattern with his movement, a looping touch against you that had you floundering like a Velaryon-caught swordfish.
When you finally freed yourself from his net, you let your eyes flick down. Daemon’s gaze was already fixed on you when you looked at him, watching you, as he always did. More laced his smile, shone in his eyes. As you stepped back to return to your station, his touch lingered with his fingertips reaching after you. For a moment, you feared his grip would close about your garments and pull you back until you tripped over yourself. In your head, Daemon made you a mess with spilled wine and his lips.
Eventually, the chatter of the Small Council filtered back into your ears and tarnished any thought of Daemon’s lips. Thank the Gods.
“On account of marvelous weather,” King Viserys said suddenly, “I call this meeting to a close and order you all to soak in the sunshine.”
He stood, and the rest of the Small Council followed suit. As Viserys passed through the doors, Daemon snuck swiftly after his brother’s heels, pushing himself out of his seat with such speed that you were nearly knocked to your feet. The Prince did not spare a glance in your direction as he moved, even shouldering past you with a roughness that stood in stark contrast to his touch from mere moments before.
When Daemon charged out of the chambers, you recovered yourself with a steadying, though still trembling, breath and moved towards the wine stash. You set the pitcher to the side before fumbling for the corked bottle. Before you could clean the station entirely, you heard the familiar gravel of your father’s voice.
“Pay no heed to Daemon.”
You turned and bowed your head respectfully. When you lifted your head, you waited until the other lords and leaders of the land filed out to speak. “You have grown a sort of patience with our Prince. I fear I have yet to grow my own as he does not…regard me in the same manner as he does you.”
Otto, not quite picking up your dropped implications, nodded at you before filing out with the rest of them. You watched your father disappear behind the Small Council Chamber doors. You watched until a pang in your chest reminded you to breath. A gasp fell from your lips and your whole body shuddered, as if Daemon’s touch had never left.
A distracting warmth played with you, tickled you to the point where your cleaning of the wine station was slowed. So slowed that palace attendants filed into the room to collect the chalices for the kitchen and wipe the table to a shine. So slowed that those same palace attendants left you to yourself again.
At least, they left you for a little while for, as you finally finished, the doors crashed open, lacking any of the decorum typical of a servant in the Red Keep. You jumped at the sound, spinning on your heels, armed only with your furrowed brows and angrily muddled mind, to face whomever entered.
With his chest heaving and face flushed, Daemon was leaned over the table, his arms taut supports as he stared down at the shining stone. At the sight, you took a step back, with your rear bumping into the wine station. The wood teetering against the floor, a dull, hollow noise that brought Daemon’s eyes up to you.
“My Prince,” you bowed, trying to play off your surprise. “Apologies.”
Daemon scoffed and straightened his posture as his sharp, gliting gaze lingered on you. “For what?”
“Apologies,” you echoed, hoping to find your answer between the syllables. “Apologies for earlier, my Prince. I should have been-” your eyes fell to his hand for a moment before flicking back up before you got lost in the mere memory of his touch, “-more attentive with the pouring of the wine.”
“My, my,” Daemon drawled, stalking towards you with each step whispering of the intent of something more. “Your father has wound you up tight with the ropes of etiquette, hasn’t he? That is a true shame.”
He continued towards you, a smile pulling at his lips as you shook your head. “My father taught me a means of surviving King’s Landing.”
“He taught you how to elevate him at court,” Daemon countered, “by being a docile little lamb.”
Daemon was so close that you could smell the dragon on him, the cinders and wine. The part of you caught on what your father failed to see wondered if you would be able to taste the wine if the Rogue Prince kissed you. You had never partook despite your work. Would the fruits of your labor taste sweet or bitter?
“Though, perhaps not so docile,” he mused, his hand rising slightly, just enough to brush against the side of your thigh again. You fought the shudder that trailed his touch. “Your father would not approve of this, now would he?”
“He hates you,” you said, hoping the words would sting; but they fell from your lips deafened by the softness of the shock of getting what you wanted.
“Oh, dear, I know it,” Daemon said, leaning in. His nose brushed against yours and his breath danced about your face, your neck. More, you wanted more, and all patience grown was squandered. “This,” his wandering hand squeezed your hip and you gasped softly, “would kill him.”
You caught your breath after a moment and met Daemon’s gaze with all the strength you could muster. The Hightower of you leapt out off your tongue. “Unless he kills you first.”
“Let’s find out, shall we?” Daemon asked with a grin.
Suddenly thirsty, you leaned up and kissed him, hard. Deep. Daemon’s hands clutched at you and his body pressed you against the wine station until you were caught between its cold stone and his warmth. It was delicious, and the fruits of your labor sweet.

Halo Reloaded: Rogue II
Deep within the twisting labyrinth of Forerunner architecture that adorned Genesis Halo, the air hummed with ancient energy, an ever-present reminder of the galaxy's age-old mysteries. It was here, amidst the echoes of a long-forgotten past, that John found himself confronted by an all-too-familiar figure.
Fred, built like a tank but with the agility of a panther, stood resolute. "John, what are you doing, man? We've scrapped side by side against worse odds than this. Don't make me the bad guy here."
John's stance was unwavering, a rock amidst the surging tides of war. "Fred, you know I can't just stand down. Not with Cortana out there, somewhere, needing us."
Their exchange was terse, the air crackling not just with the energy of Forerunner tech but with the tension between two titans of the battlefield.
And then, as if on cue, hell broke loose.
Fred, known as the best hand-to-hand combatant among the Spartans, wasted no time. He charged at John with the force of a runaway train, his fists aimed with the precision of a sniper. John, anticipating the assault, sidestepped at the last second, sending a swift kick towards Fred’s side that would have sent a lesser opponent flying.
But Fred was no ordinary foe; he absorbed the hit, using the momentum to spin around and launch a counterattack that was a blur of motion.
The clash was titanic, echoes of their strikes resonating through the halls like thunder. Fred unleashed a barrage of punches, each one a masterpiece of combat artistry, aimed with lethal precision. John, ducking and weaving through the onslaught, countered with his own repertoire of moves, a mix of Spartan training and his unique improvisational style. He flipped over Fred’s head, landing a hit that would have floored an armored vehicle, but Fred merely staggered, a grin audible in his grunt of acknowledgment.
As the fight escalated, the environment became a weapon. John leaped off walls, using the Forerunner architecture to his advantage, raining down blows from above. Fred responded in kind, his strength allowing him to literally tear pieces from the structure to use as improvised projectiles, turning the ancient hall into a battlefield of flying debris and energy sparks.
Energy swords ignited, casting eerie shadows on the walls as John and Fred clashed with a fury that made their previous spars seem like friendly tussles. The sound of clashing energy blades sang a deadly duet, each strike aiming to end the battle. Fred managed a near-impossible feint, his blade inches from John’s neck, but John, in a display of superhuman agility, twisted away, his counterstrike leaving a scorch mark on Fred’s armor.
The battle reached its zenith as they locked arms, pushing against each other with the force of titans, their powered armor straining under the exertion. It was a stalemate, a testament to their near-equal strength and skill, a battle of wills as much as physical prowess.
Then, in a moment of sheer determination, John channeled every ounce of his strength into a final push, sending Fred tumbling back. Not missing a beat, John launched himself at Fred, delivering a series of rapid strikes that blurred the air, culminating in a powerful uppercut that sent Fred airborne.
As Fred landed, the structure around them momentarily silent, both Spartans stood, panting, their armor dented and energy shields flickering. John, for the first time ever, had bested Fred in combat, a feat that neither took joy in. John offered Fred a hand, pulling him to his feet.
Fred, ever the warrior, acknowledged John with a grunt. "Go. Save her if you can. But remember, John, we're soldiers. We don't get happy endings."
John released Fred, offering a hand to help him up—a gesture of respect between warriors. "I know, more than anyone." He replied, his voice carrying the weight of their shared burdens. "Thanks, Fred. For understanding."
Without another word, John turned away, stepping deeper into the bowels of the Forerunner structure, his mission clear but his heart heavy. This victory, if it could even be called that, was bittersweet. Fred was left behind, not just physically in the echoing halls of Genesis Halo, but metaphorically, as John pursued a path that could very well lead to salvation or ruin.

In the midst of the excitement yesterday, I missed a few things! I caught myself staring at your beautiful art piece today quite a few times, and I noticed more details that I just couldn't help but adore!
• Feyre in the window is holding an arrow to her chest! Can I tell you how much I love that Feysand are in armor with wings out, looking badass with their beast companions? And the night court insignia between them gives me the vibe that they'll do anything to protect their court! 🏹
• The light coming through the windows combined with the light from the candles, lamps, and fireplace frames the piece perfectly, giving it a warm glow! 🕯️
• Rhys' shadows! Ooops, I missed that because I was staring at his chest! 🙈Anyway, I love that because Feyre is glowing and it's giving their classic light and dark vibes! 💕

But I must confess, whenever I'm listening to Taylor Swift's I Can See You, I can't stop thinking about Marius and the story because!!!! OMG.

THE TV SHOW, DEFINITELY NOT ANYTHING ELSE… (there is no movie in Ba Sing Se)
Not a movie, but still the best series of all time. It deserves to be mentioned and it deserves to be number one. Nothing compares. Labelled a kids show but it is so much more than that. The Asian culture, the redemption arcs, the characters, the plot, Zuko. I genuinely feel bad for anyone who never had the pleasure of seeing this.. and I don’t mean that in a degrading way. Many adults have recently watched this for the first time and love it. It’s a masterpiece. It changed my life and I will love this show forever.
Les Intouchables
The last movie I ever watched with my grandma before she passed away. It’s such a beautiful story of the meaningful friendship between two men, one who’s just trying to survive and scrape by and one who is fully paralyzed and is looking for a caretaker. Probably the most inspirational movie I have ever seen.
It’s a French movie but with subtitles it is very enjoyable and I HIGHLY recommend.
Encanto
Perfect. I love this movie so much. It’s my comfort movie. Probably because I too was raised in a tight, close family with my grandma being the matriarch. I love Mirabel and as an autistic person I really relate to her and her struggles of not belonging and being left out constantly. (I’m doing much better nowadays, don’t worry haha) I also love the Colombian culture and the story. The songs are bops too. It’s so refreshing to see a Disney movie that doesn’t entirely revolve around the female main character being obsessed with a handsome man. This story is about family and it’s beautiful.

A classic. I can’t find the words to describe it. It’s just a beautiful, inspiring masterpiece. It’s insane how ahead this movie was of its time. Humans truly are the bad guys for a lot of living beings. If you haven’t seen it you really need to. The spirituality, the love story, the alien culture, the LANDSCAPES OMG.
Frozen 2
Better than the first one imo. And that’s saying a lot because I love the first movie.
I just love the story and the sisterly bond between Anna and Elsa. I love Olaf, I love Kristoff, I love Sven. Reindeers are truly better than people.
A Cure For Wellness
My favorite horror movie. It’s such a mindfuck. It’s creepy, disturbing and it keeps you thinking from start to finish. Such a unique concept too, a horror movie in a wellness resort. It kinda makes my want to go there too if I didn’t know what happens. I highly recommend if you’re into psychological horrors/thrillers. There are no jumpscares.
Get Out
A horror movie again, but without jumpscares (maybe some tiny ones but they aren’t too bad). Without giving too much of the plot away, the stuff happening behind closed doors…It’s so messed up and it’s so sad that this is loosely based off of current racism POC are still facing. I do think the story sends a very good message though and I am glad it was made by Jordan Peele who is POC himself.
The main character Chris is a very funny and intelligent person and it’s so satisfying to see a main character in a horror movie make all the right choices though.

The music and the story are so good! I’ve been trying to find a dvd of it in thrift shops but so far no luck.

-Collin.... darling - Liliana called -Time to wake up Mr. sleepyhead!!! - she whispered in Nicholas' ears
-5 more minutes - Nicholas muttered in his sleep and tried to pull Liliana next to him. His wife resisted and pulled the blanket off him.
-come now! -she bosses
-fine...fine - he climbed out of bed and hugged his wife - good morning birdie - he kissed her on the lips. After a few minutes of kissing Nicholas walked over to the wardrobe as Liliana made the bed. The sun's golden rays shone through the windows, there was a slight smell of flowers in the air.
-Ana! I found matching outfits for us! -Nicholas beamed
-let me see - Liliana glanced over to Nicholas - oh yes!! I made those for a banquet. Do you remember?
-yes, yes I do. I love dancing with my beautiful queen .... Together... Under the spotlight - he kissed Liliana
-Except today we are not going to be dancing.. -she giggled back as she pressed a gentle kiss on Nicholas' lips
-are you sure about that Mrs. ballerina? -he gently placed his hand on His wife's back and smiled
-ooh. Alright, then Mr. King -she winked and grabbed her dress. -now, Nich can you help me put this on? -Liliana asked.
-sure sweetheart -Nicholas set the dress aside as Liliana pulled her shirt off revealing a lace bra. Nicholas stared at her skinny, fragile, yet powerful frame for a little then he began to speak - you look beautiful my queen - he held her hand as she pressed her head against Nicholas' bare chest. -now... Let's put on your masterpiece. -he grabbed the dress and helped Liliana to put it on. -all done queen. -he smiled as he fixed the position of the sleeves.
-Nicholas you haven't had a shower last night. You should take a bath... -Liliana mentioned as she started to unbraid her hair.
-you are correct. I suppose..... I'll be quick - he left and came back a few minutes later.
He put his pants, shirt, and suit on. Liliana made sure to fix the position of the badges and put the missing ones on. After that, they put on the crowns and left to get some breakfast.
-it's 6 am. We are on time darling - Nicholas said as he held Liliana's hand while walking through the corridor. Finally, they arrived at their table and grabbed the plate, the few sandwiches the cup of coffee and tea, that the maids prepared for them and left. They walked outside to the palace garden and sat down in the pavilion. The pavilion was made out of carefully carved quartz pillars and wrought iron railing that ran around the pillars. The roof of the pavilion was made out of quarts and looked quite like a dome. The carvings on the dome and the pillars were in harmony with the rose motives on the railing.
-I remember coming here when we were young... Wonderful place...... -the king smiled as he put the plate down on the table.
-I adore looking at the roses... It makes me so happy to be here... With you... -Liliana sang while sipping some tea. Nicholas sat down at the table and grabbed a sandwich.
-Liliana! It's one of your favorites. It has cranberry jam! -he offered
Liliana walked over to her husband and looked into his eyes and sat in his lap with a swift movement.
-oh hey Ana - Nicholas chuckled and handed her a sandwich
-hmm - she started eating - the bread is delicious… And the jam is perfect - she muttered between 2 bites
-I cannot agree more, I suggest that we should leave a little note for them. They'd appreciate it very much! -Nicholas beamed
-I suppose you are correct. We should leave them a message saying thank you. -Liliana agreed
After they had finished their breakfast they packed up and took everything back to the table in the palace. They left a small note on the table;
"The food was delicious. We have the best chefs in the word
-Nich and Ana"
Nicholas let out a small sigh - we have a speech to make. -he muttered
-yes... I hope it all goes well... I mean it is going to go well! -Liliana whispered as she hugged Nicholas.
The clock finally hit 10 am and a huge crowd gathered in front of the palace. All the citizens were looking at one thing. The balcony. The speech was watched by billions of people through screens. Nicholas looked at Liliana - thank you - he whispered and kissed her on the lips - come on let's make history -he beamed and opened the huge doors leading to the balcony. As the people saw their king, they cheered and screamed his name. And then as they saw Liliana they started to cheer even more and screamed in happiness. It was a long time since they saw their rulers smile like this. In pure happiness. The people knew something big will happen.
-my friends - Nicholas said and suddenly the crowd went silent. - We have invited all of you here to say thank you. The last few months had been rough. I didn't say anything new did I? It's a fact. A fact that I know, my beautiful wife knows, our daughter princess Light knows, and all of you hard-working people know! After all this, countless people told us to rest and relax since apparently, we deserve it... However... If we deserve it all of you my people deserve it. With that being said, we spent the past two weeks making improvements. -he smiled
-Firstly, we decided to help farmers. We want to thank you for the hours of work you did just to put food on our table. So I and Nick consulted with the agricultural minister and found some experts in farming. Some experiments later we have made the perfect farm. These farms can be used for any crop from wheat to carrots and even beetroot. With the help of the finance minister, we set up some financial support for the farmer families who have no money to invest in this new technology. However, we decided that we give 2 month trial for the automatic farms and if they work then in 3 months all farms will be converted to this system. -Liliana carefully explained
-Secondly, we will give out financial support to the families whose houses had been damaged during the wars. The financial support will cover all the repairing and lost items. The most affected territory was the South-west border of the kingdom. I am proud to say that these settlements did very well in the war. The damages are going to be repaired within 3 weeks. -he spoke in a stern, yet welcoming way.
-Lastly... Since our new territory has been abandoned by the people who lived there... They left huge mines and forests behind, so miners and lumbermen will have much to do. But first, we have to build settlements in the territory and then ask people to move there... -Lilian smiled
-obviously, this is a plan for the near future, but we thought about telling this as well, s everyone can plan ahead. -Nicholas said
-to sum up..... We are going to convert our farms to a new farming system, we will repair all damages that were caused by the war and shortly we will build new settlements in our new territory. We know these are basic things, but we'd like to say thank you for all of your efforts. Remember this is just the beginning of the new age... There is so much more coming - Liliana ended her speech and waved. The crowd cheered and shouted as Nicholas gently placed her hand on Liliana's hip she slowly glanced at Nicholas. He spun her around kissed her and teleported away with her. The crowd stood there for a few moments then began to talk about the things their king and queen said as they slowly left the palace grounds.
-I wish we could do more for the people -Liliana sighed
-Hey - Nicholas gently wrapped his hands around her - This is the beginning. We'll say thank you to them in many other ways. Alright, my wonderful queen? -his voice was reassuring
-I don't think we made history Nicholas - Liliana had tears in her eyes
-Liliana please - he cleared his throat - Listen, darling. Not many people pay attention to agriculture, and we made huge developments. -Nicholas smiled and kissed off Liliana's tears.

They hurried over to an enormous meeting room and stepped inside.

They went around the room and talked to everybody separately.
-it's been a long time since I came here... -A queen with raven black hair spoke as she laid back on the throne. She wasn't any queen, she was the first queen of the Light kingdom. Her husband was sitting on the throne right next to her. He was the first Kitagawa. -Nicholas darling. Were you afraid of calling us here? -she sang. Her voice was strict yet welcoming in a way. She used the same exact speaking technique Nicholas used.
-to be completely honest... -Nicholas stopped to breathe - I was scared... I was afraid of all of you judging me. But..... Over the years -he stopped again to glance around the room - I Have been thinking about what to say on this day. -he looked into the eyes of Edwyn.
Light was sitting in an armchair next to Edwyn. She looked at her father and smiled reassuringly.
-I've realized... That the bravest thing to do... Is to admit you are scared of things. - he smiled - all of you are scared of something... Running away never works... Locking your fears in a room might be a solution... But it's a solution that is not permanent. However... Tell me, how many of you have faced your fears? - he glanced around the room. Liliana was standing beside his husband and raised her hand.
-I did. -she spoke.
The room went silent. Everybody stared at the young couple. And then somebody stood up with a rapid movement.
-and he did! - Light's voice was filled with confidence. - you might think I am too young to understand... I don't think that's true. I've seen my parents fight. I've seen their actions and the amount of work they'd put into ruling the kingdom. The sleepless hours... The stressful meetings... Everything. All just... To save the kingdom..... And.... -she sighed - to save me. I was the reason..... For them to step outside of their comfort zone.... - please... Tell me.... -she looked up - what else should they do to show you that they are worthy? Everybody calls me a hero. Because I was able to stand the shadow's torture for 150 years... But they had done more. They fought the shadow face to face, not once, not twice..... 10 times!!! - she stopped - All while they were in another war. And they won that war! none of you were able to pull this off! I've read all the books on what each of, you have done.... and what most of you do is just sit here and brag about what you accomplished while you flap your pretty wings around. Of course, some people can prove me wrong since they have done a lot -she glanced at the raven black-haired woman. - however. Please tell me, why are you picking on them like this? - she was looking at Edwyn in particular - they have done everything to be worthy of ruling the kingdom. I know all of you have done something extraordinary and I look up to you for all that... But... Take a moment to appreciate their efforts. -she sat back down in the chair. And winked at the raven black-haired queen.
- Nicholas, Liliana darling please leave the room for me. - the raven black-haired woman, Queen Isolde spoke, she saw as Light tried to walk after them - Light darling... I need you to stay here - her beautiful smile made Light feel some sort of warmth........
An hour filled with talking passed. Finally, the doors of the hall opened and the queen and king could finally step inside.
-We must say... Light is correct. The kingdom... I mean empire is living its golden age - Edwyn stated
-Empire??? -Nicholas asked
-heh. Dear, you thought we won't praise you for the amazing things you did? - Nicholas' great-grandmother beamed - Light was absolutely right!
-we have made a decision - Edwyn's mother started as she gently led Liliana next to Nicholas.
-my darlings.... - queen Isolde spoke
-we decided that the two of you deserve the title of emperor and empress. -the husband of queen Isolde continued.
-indeed. Light was right about everything. Your speech Nicholas made me realize... I am not as fearless as I pretended to be..... I was afraid of many things... Yet... I never had the opportunity to face them. You both deserve this title. -she smiled -Liliana... I have welcomed many queens to my family... However... You seem to be different from the rest... The things you have done are unbelievable. I wish you both.....a great eternal ruling - she beamed.
Liliana was braiding her hair, sitting in front of her dressing table in their bedroom. She heard the door open and she spot her half-naked husband with a bottle of champagne in his hand.
-darling - he got two champagne glasses and poured the fizzy drink into them. -I know this will be hard... However, I am not afraid of this challenge. -he smiled
-I understand why Light decided she doesn't want to be queen... I had this fear...I didn't want to take the opportunity from her... But I've talked to her and I am relieved. She comforted me... She is so sweet... I wish we could have seen her grow up..... She was so happy to see us getting this title. She'd done so much already.
-now we can spend eternity together as a happy family. Being the emperor and empress will be quite hard, but if Isolde agreed then their decision must be right. We'll be great rules I promise! Alright, my.... empress?
-Alright my emperor -she giggled as she hugged Nicholas. - you know I love challenges...
-yes I know. -he firmly gripped his champagne glass - I should say a toast now..... But... I have no idea what to say - he chuckled nervously and glanced at his wife -Liliana... I have to tell you something.
Liliana's eyes widened in shock she gulped and put her glass down on the bedside table - yes? - she called
-I wanted you to know this for a long time.... however I never had the opportunity to tell you that, the fact that you are forever mine is my most outstanding achievement. You not only mean the world to me, you mean the world and all its weather, surrounding planets, and the wonder in it. -he gently pulled Likiana close to his body and held her hands. Liliana looked at him in admiration -The greatest endeavor in my whole life and as long as I breathe is to make you happy and give you a smile on your face for the rest of your life. I love you, Liliana -he kissed her on the lips for a few minutes then started to gently rub her back.
Liliana didn't say anything. She just pressed her body closer to Nicholas' bare chest, and gently kissed the lips.
-so you love me too birdie? -he smiled.
-you know me too well. -Liliana had an interesting body language when she was complemented by Nicholas she couldn't say "thank you". She showed "thank you" with kisses and hugs" Nicholas knew this very well and he was proud of himself for making his wife happy. He gently pat her hair and smiled.
-Nich - I want to do something fun - she reached for the glass filled with champagne on the bedside table and took a sip
-Something fun? -he asked - what's on your mind?
-as I said something dun - she giggled
-well then - he smirked and grabbed Liliana's hand - follow me, my lady - he winked and opened the balcony door. He led his wife onto the roof of the palace. They danced around the cold roof without making a sound. Their steps were gentle yet swift. Time passed by fast. The clock struck midnight. Liliana yawned as she leaned onto her husband.
-tired? - he whispered in her ear.
-exhausted -she whispered back. -she sat down on the roof and gazed at the stars - Nich sweetie, aren't you cold?
-certainly not... But I suppose you are.... - suddenly one of his white shirts appeared in his hand, he scooted behind Liliana and wrapped it around her shoulders, then he gently moved her blue hair strands away from her back and started to massage her shoulder. It didn't take too long for Liliana to melt again, just like yesterday. Nicholas carefully laid down on the freezing ground and pulled Liliana on top of him.
-Nich!! You're going to catch a cold... You are literally laying half-naked on the freezing tiles! -Liliana bossed
-I'm fine Ana! - Nicholas muttered
-Collin don't make me worried. - she sighed
-sorry love - Another shirt appeared on Nicholas, but this time it was dark blue - happy Lilian?
-I can still feel your skin on my back. -she stated
-how? You are wearing my shirt! - he said as he sat up while holding Liliana. He snapped twice and pastel blue hoodies appeared on both of them - I have never worn these in my entire life... They seem comfortable - he laid back with Liliana again.
-they are comfortable - She smiled - I am not used to wearing these... But to be honest they are not bad. We could wear them more often on nights like this. -she whispered
-are you saying you want more romantic nights with me? -he whispered back
-yes. Certainly...Collin.... -she mumbled
-yes love? - he whispered while he carefully wrapped his arms around her again.
-They say one only falls in love once in a lifetime, but every time I look at you I fall in love with you all over again..... -she smiled and turned around to kiss her husband.
-I know I am handsome - he giggled
-seriously you are - she smirked
-Ohh. I was just joking Mrs. gorgeous - he smiled
-but you are handsome - she beamed
-oooh really? -he whispered in her ear and started kissing her gently on the lips then moved down to her neck. - you enjoy this, don't you?
He watched Liliana nod then let out a genuine smile.
-I like it when you smile, but I love it when I am the reason. -he whispered and gave Liliana one last kiss before she fell asleep in the hands of her husband. -sleeping beauty.... -he whispered and carefully scooped her up and took her to bed, and her back till he fell asleep as well.

Ahhhh I just love how this album keeps growing on everyone lol
It might be because I got used to Fortnight being the single pretty quickly, but compared to ttpd, it has a beat that probably works best for a music video. Then again 'begin again' got a video so perhaps I'm just biased by what I already know(?)
Agreed! I listened to the album with a friend and we heard bits of old songs in them and got to the conclusion that Taylor's gonna have so much fun doing mash-ups on tour hahah
And you got me to agree again about if we ever get something similar to the long pond sessions!! I would DIE DEAD

Not in everyone. Because it's a different album and because people cannot fandom that an album called The Tortured Poets Department isn't the beacon of modern and deep poetry, they're losing their minds.
Like, sure, Folkore and Evermore have more writing quality, they feel in their own right as really poetry and narrative driven albums and even without it, at least, they captured a very specific moment in human life a moment that doesn't come often in our story. Just for that I feel like those albums are masterpiece. They capture isolation, escapism, dreams, broken plans and introspection really well - and it all got even bigger when listen during a world wide pandemic.
I was never the type of person to just go out and appreciate the day. I live in a big city when the closest park to me is like a huge pod with a small piece of greenery around, there's sure something beautiful about it, but I never went there on my own. However, when everything shut down during the pandemic, I immediately got immersed into Stardew Valley and other games that bring me a sense of open natural places, with green and blue, and nature.
Folkore and Evermore have a lot of that but in music form, how melancholy and slow and introspective most of the songs are, and it was what I needed at that time to just not let all the despair settle in.
That's when music shows it's value, when we feel less lonely or understood even if for a slip of second, and honestly, it's easy to find in many artists, but it's so shitty seeing people missing that point, y'know??
Maybe Taylor Swift isn't a tortured poet, maybe she's just someone who feels things deeply, who's deeply insecure, who's weak and a people pleaser, however, it's not about taking it seriously or in the most truthful of the word you can be, it's all art, it's all show, it's all about presenting a narrative and, brodosvisky, don't we all do that in our daily basis?? Don't we all perform and exaggerate and feel raw and unseen???
That's why in a deep level people can connect with Taylor's songs, even in an album that isn't necessarily our favorite.
I do hope she sings the new songs in the acoustic and surprise song of the eras tour, the mash-up are my new favorite thing to listen to. In the end we all love our acoustic songs. We all basic like that and aight nothing wrong about it. Like acoustic songs are almost cultural to me cuz I grew up with my parents listening to MPB (POP brazilian music but not really pop like North American music). So much so that I used to have an acoustic guittar myself. I did classes and everything but I was never really good about or even capable of playing a whole song perfectly.
It is so nice to talk to someone about Taylor!!! It's fun too!! Your asks were a big reason to why I went back and properly listen to the album too, I am glad I gave it another chance. Bye!!! Have a good day!!! And see ya. Thank you so much about the asks!!
