Business Guide:

How to get started

When you have a business name in mind look up the domain name to see if it’s taken. You don’t want to spend money on an LLC just to find out that your name is taken. Thats a waste of money because you also have to pay to dissolve it.

If the name is not taken, great, don’t file an LLC yet. Go online and get a virtual business address. Why? If you’re running your business out of your home like I am, just know that it’s public information if you use your address to file your LLC. A virtual address should cost like $10-$20 a month. Use that to file your LLC.

Once you’ve filed that LLC get your Ein. That’s your Employee Identification Number. It’s your businesses tax id. It’s free to file on the IRS website. Don’t fall for the scam websites you guys.

Once you’ve gotten your EIN go to Google domains and get your website name aswell as 3-4 emails. An email for your social media accounts, an executive email for yourself, an [email protected] for things like your business bank account, Shopify account, etc; and maybe a customer support email. I use the social email as a customer support email. All of this should be like $50/month.

Once you’ve don’t that get on Canva and make that logo bookie. Personally I paid someone on Fiverr to make mine because I’m a “soft business life” kind of girl and I’d rather pay the professionals. Thats just me though.

Once you’ve got your logo go ahead and get them social media accounts going. Instagram, tiktok, Facebook.

Alright now this is where it gets specific to clothing brands because that’s what I own.

Time to find a manufacturer. Head over to alibaba and search what kind of product you want to sell. Be sure to add “oem” if you want a manufacturer that customizes. Look for the amount of orders they’ve gotten on that product. If it says zero orders that’s ok. Some styles are new and thus haven’t been ordered yet. Check any reviews they have for other products. Also check the total revenue they’ve done. It’s on the store profile. I can’t tell you what the sweet spot is yet bc I’ve only used one manufacturer so far but I’d look for mid six figures and up if you wanna be real safe.

Chat with them and order a sample. Even if you buy from a vendor list you’ll need your own sample to make content with. I suggest buying one and first. It’s worth the wait because if you buy multiple and end up not liking them you’d have wasted money that could’ve gone into testing a different manufacturer.

Do not launch with more than 2 products. Even 2 is a stretch, wallai start with one.

This is because if you’re doing the preorder, which I suggest, you’ll be depending on customer orders to pay for the bulk order. Manufacturers do their moq by color or style. If you have too many options in your website and customers order a mix of things, you better pray you have enough money to cover the bulk for all those different styles. Stay safe and give them 1-2 options to choose from.

Pre order method is great if you don’t have a lot of cash to start with because the orders pay for themselves. Bulk orders start to wrack up. Especially if it’s a custom style or material. You don’t want to break the bank for something that might not sell.

Once you’ve gotten and approved your samples choose a launch date. 2-3 weeks before that launch dates post consistently. At least once a day but remember quality over quantity. Now don’t be tricked. Quality doesn’t mean a full cinematography. It means connecting with your audience and relating with them to a point where they’re like “this business gets it”. Either that or attaching yourself to an identity they want to have. “It girl ig influencer”, “feminine soft life babe” “clean girl Pilates princess” whatever the fuck it is embody ur as best as you can. When customers attach your product with an identity that is aspirational to them they will buy it without rationalizing. It’s why the luxury market makes so much off of ppl who can’t afford to buy it twice.

Focus on the backend

If you have a goal of getting an influx of orders and making a lot of sales, be sure that your business is structured in a way that can handle it happening at any given time. You know those tiktok businesses that get one viral video and sell out over night? That could be you but if you’re not prepared ppl are going to be upset. I suggest working backwards:

A customer service platform/inbox so that you can answer them right away with frequently asked questions.

Have stock so that you have something for customers to buy once they finally land on your website.

Have a well presenting website so that ppl don’t think you’re a scam. I’m going to do a post on this bc some of these business websites drive me fuckin nuts. Color theory ppl, color theory.

A social media page with some kind of social proof ie reviews from customers in some way shape or form. Ppl are going to be looking for what others have to say about your brand. Hire UGC creators to make videos that you can post on your page. They’re cheaper than influencers but still know how to convey the message well. You’ll have to have extra samples and items on hand to send them. Also check out their usage rights. Some will allow you to use their videos in ads but you have to pay extra and it’s only for a certain amount of time. But if they do it right, you’ll get a great return. Scared money don’t make no money.

A social media page that shows the products in movement and different lighting. I need to be able to imagine myself in the item before I buy it. Where would I wear it, how will it fit on me. Even when I’ve already ordered something I stay going back to the businesses social media page just to see the clothes again. I might even search it up to see other ppl wearing it.

Packaging

No need to go crazy with the packaging in the beginning. Don’t get me wrong, branding is important but as a beginner you may not have the money for that yet. You need to focus on spending money on what will give you the best return. Just get regular poly mailers from Amazon in your brand colors. You’ll also need:

A stack of 6x4 shipping labels

A thermal printer

A scale

When your manufacturer sends you the clothes they will most likely be in their own little bags. If not you can get those from Amazon too.

Later on you can go to alibaba and find a manufacturer to print you custom poly mailers for that extra edge. Put your logo, a cute message, and your social media handles on the bag and that’s it. Good to go.

You can also design your own thank you cards as well. I won’t be doing that.

Little things to remember

Don’t feel like you have to keep up with big brands. You don’t need to launch something every two weeks. As a matter of fact I advise against emulating super fast fashion brands. I only launch a new item once the pre ordered items have been shipped out to customers.

Be nice to your customers. You’d think this was obvious but it’s not. Some ppl are rude, ghetto, and uncouth. If you hate authority and have a smart mouth I think you should either take a customer service course or hire a virtual assistant from the Philippines to do your customer service for you because no customers = no money.

Influencers

Not every influencer with a mass follower base is going to be your influencer. It’s possible that you pay $5000 for an influencer with 75k followers to post your product on her page but that post makes you less than $3k. That means you’ve net negative $2k. What a fuckin waste of money.

This is why it’s important to develop a persona for your brand. What is your brand identity? Who is your target audience? What are their psychographics?

Where do currently shop? What are there favorite social media apps?What is their race? Their age? Their ethnicity? Are they in college or highschool? Do they have parents that support their lifestyle or are they hustlers? Are they concerned about price or quality more? Are they married? Do they have children? Are they environmentally conscious?

You need to embody Joe Goldberg and peer at them through their window. Acquaint yourself with every part of their life.

Also, you might not be your target demographic yet and that’s ok. The girls that shop with my brand have social lives. They go out with their friends and need outfits to wear. I don’t have a social life. The only clothes I wear are my work clothes to go to work and my robe when I’m at home.Or a sweat set and a bonnet to run errands.

Don’t think to yourself “ I would never wear that.” “I would never buy something at that price point”. That’s fine cuz someone else will. A lot of people will.

Another thing is your demographic could change once you start your business. It might be that you create content that attracts a different type of person than what you originally planned and that’s cool too. We don’t live in a perfect world. As long as they’re close enough to what you had predetermined it’s ok. Sometimes our business comes out different than we hoped but it’s just as good if not better. It’s like child. Don’t destroy its greatness trying to turn it into something it doesn’t want to be.

User generated content

Love, love, love her down. She’s that sweet spot between making content yourself and having an influencer with a large following make the content for you. UGC is a form of social proof which is something you need for an e-commerce brand especially. Ppl can’t just pop into your store and try on your stuff so they need the opinions of “regular” people to sell them on it. They want to see that person try it on, do a close up of the fabric, wear it to a social setting, etc;

What I like about UGC is that I can pick someone who fits into my brand persona to represent my brand even if I don’t. Someone that appears aspirational but still relatable. Like I said previously, you yourself might not embody your brands persona but you can pay someone who does.

A little translate for yall: I do not live in a nice apartment. My room is small, and dark, and filled with boxes. My living room has mix matched decor and I myself am not the body type I’d like to be (pls don’t hit me with body positivity babe). What I can do is pay a girl with the opposite of all those things and knows how to sell a product.

I have a girl right now that I’ve inquired to make posts for me and she’s got it all. Her rate for one video is $100 with an extra $30 for 90 days of usage in ads. $100 is the new 50 and for the return I’ll get on her, THATS A STEAL.

If you need to find a UGC creator search it up on tiktok and Twitter. Most of them have a portfolio of past work they’ve done. If you feel like they match your brands vibes, keep their info for when you’re ready.

I suggest to have a roster of them because if ppl keep seeing the same person over and over, the thought that that person is just a regular degular customer leaves their mind and you lose the magic of UGC.

I’ve been sick but yall ain’t paying me so it’s ok. Here’s the update.

Website

Your website is your home babe and when you’re preparing for guest you can’t have your home looking any type of way. Not only does it need to be clean but it needs to be cohesive and inviting.

You know how many times I’ve opened someone’s booking page on Instagram and I click off. Not only am I not reading through all of that small ass text but my head hurts cuz you’ve got a black font on a hot pink background.

Some of yalls websites to not comply with accessibility guidelines so pay attention to that bc you can be sued. Ppl should be able to read what you have on there without getting a headache.

Good rule of thumb is to have one primary color, and then black and white. Don’t over complicate it. Your primary color will be your logo, think twitters blue, then your secondary colors should be black and white, for your text. You might have an accent color like gold or silver, this should be used sparingly for a little dazzle.

If you’re a clothing brand like me, keep the text short and sweet. Think about it, when you go shopping on your favorite website are you bombarded with a soliloquy on how the collection came to be? And even if you are do you stop and read the whole thing? I don’t bc I don’t care. That’s what your Instagram story is for.

All I want to see is the attention grabber and a short,but convincing, tagline.

Example: Ski Resort 2023-“Stun the slopes and stand out on the ski lift with best sellers spotted at St. Moritz”

Let you images tell the rest of the story.

Don’t overwhelm them with options

Guys this is so important. The more options ppl see the less they buy or the less likely they are to buy. Why? This is the thought process.

“Omg the stuff on this website is so cute! Let me go through their catalog and add to my cart as I go”

5 minutes of scrolling

“Ok I have too many things in my cart let me just save to a wishlist instead”

Another 5 minutes of scrolling

“Ok I’ll just stop here and go back to my cart and decide what I’m going to get rn”

Goes to cart

Spends 10 minutes deciding what she’s gonna get bc there’s so many good options

Takes 10 items out of her cart and only buys two basics bc she knows those are less likely to disappoint.

And scene

That is if she didn’t leave after the second five minutes of scrolling. Nowadays five minutes on a non stimulating website is a lot, don’t let it take that long.

Obviously this also depends on the customers budget. Some people have the money to just buy everything in their cart (I wish- one day), but most are just window shopper you hope to convert with your nice styles, images, and prices. Don’t make it harder for people to give you their money.

AITA for refusing to join my dad's bootcamp?

I am adult, and F. When I was still a toddler, my dad (T) got thrown out of the house by the head of family (i don't actually think i'm related to the head of family? it's more like three or four large families living in the same place tbh) because he had killed a guy (intentionally) and disabled a girl for life (accidentally - well she wasn't the one he was targeting).

Anyway, I didn't know that when T came back at the head of his own group of families (he'd basically been chosen by another, already formed group, to take over their head of family who had died of sickness) and he asked that my twin brother (B, same age as me, at the time we were teens) and I join him because we were his children and it was only fair. Nothing was said about our mom being allowed to come too or anything? It was a bit fishy and people refused to let us go anyway.

But the thing is, ever since T had been banished, the whole group/family has been treating B and I like complete, utter garbage. The only person who treated us well was our mom. B even got an adult assigned to watching over him so he didn't because some psycho killer or something, just because he looks like our dad ig. Now, having an adult watching over each child as they are teens is a thing in the group i'm in, it's not shocking, but there's a relationship based on trust supposed to be born of this care, and here it was the contrary, so it sucked. PLUS! We didn't know why we were being treated like that, because no one told us what had happened to our dad! The adult who didn't trust B only took us aside when we were like 12 to explain to us that the guy was a monster. And he only did it because our dad had been trying to contact us and he wanted us to hear our family's side of the story before T's.

When I was around 15, I snuck away in the middle of the night to join my dad because i was sick of the bullying/harassment/mistrust. When it became public, B was put on the spot (he didn't know i'd left for that either) and refused to join me, which stung but you know. That's his choice and I respect him. It seems that everyone trusts him much more now that he's made a public display of loyalty.

When I came to live with T, I realized he was, actually, a complete POS and I shouldn't have come. But also, people in his group actually treated me well, so I didn't regret my choice. When T realized I didn't want to become a mini version of him, we became rather distant, until he left the group entirely (through no choice of his, may i add).

I learned later that, before I joined his group, he found a side chick with whom he had twins too, but she left before he knew she was pregnant. I learned that when she outed the boy twin (H, at the time a young adult, he's what... twleve years younger than us?) as T's son at a public gathering, like six months ago.

Since then, I've learned that T has been rekindling contact with B and H, when he took contact with me too. He basically tried to persuade all three of us (no sign of his other daughter, but she's in medschool so i suppose that's not the profile he was looking for) to join his bootcamp in which he'd teach us how to become "better versions of ourselves". Because he's an AH and because I've been learning all these years since he left that I shouldn't build my life around what others want me to be, I refused to join his bootcamp, and I advised B to refuse too (i'm not close enough from H to give him this kind of advice).

But now i'm thinking that, since he couldn't spend our childhoods with any of us, maybe he's just trying to keep in contact, you know, through teaching us and bonding with us, with sports and workout being the only things he knew how to do so that's what he focused on. Maybe I'm making a mistake, and seeing, as an adult, what he's like, would give me more perspective? What if i'm being as narrow minded as the bullies from my childhood? IDK what to do.

Yeah I can well believe that about the agency. But I think all agencies of “influencer” models will do the same, try to get the girls on Raya and invited to parties with sportspeople. That is part of their job, to get these girls seen. People want to make it a sordid thing but it’s a pretty standard operating model.

Idk people have this weird thing about “clout chasing” the same way they used to have a thing about models getting “work” done like…sorry life doesn’t just happen to people, it’s all called “their job”. Grow tf up 🙄

(also stop infantilising the men. These men hang out where they hang out specifically TO FIND girls like that. They know what they’re doing. Dating is literally a meat market, they’re just shopping in a different supermarket. It doesn’t make them stupid)

I mean…if she cheated, she cheated. It’s not great but where is the moral indignation coming from from people bc Lando isn’t your friend, why do you care? Also, if the public knows about it, then Lando knows about it. Whether he’s dating her or not, he will know about whatever happened because they are clearly friends. He doesn’t care, so why does anyone else?

The whole obsession with people hating on this girl just gives “bored and bitter”.

Also I high key wish people would lift the lid on these celeb dating things (and NOT when they’re trying to sell you a “how to” ebook) because people just really think “PR” or “transactional” relationships are SO much more dramatic than they actually are. And I’ve never dated a famous person but I’ve dated in adjacent circles and fr the way people think these young women are all Anna Delvey scamming idiot men is so…not true.

Hey there! First time running into your account, and by God! I love your Starfire content! One burning question - since we know Starfire is a model under the alias Kory Anders, what do you think that life as a model would be for her based on her character? How would she handle clubs/parties? What would her IG handle and followers count be? What would she model for? How would she cover up her superhero identity given she’ll be followed by simps?

I'm not going to pull any panels for this because I'm feeling very lazy! I love this question sm, though, because Kory's modeling career is very interesting to me + inspired me to pursue my own for a time!

Kory is only incognito as a model very early on in her career and, at some point, the Wolfman-Perez team quietly dropped that aspect and any time she was modeling, she was openly herself w/o anything covering her eyes. her career isn't really touched on much outside of the handful of photoshoots we see--like her early denim photoshoot, a beach shoot with Donna, etc.--and also outside of her being recognized by the press for both her modeling and her status as the resident alien princess superhero on Earth (which is why Dick, instead of Kory, is almost always incognito when they go out together after a certain point in NTT and then New Titans)

as for her life as a model: Kory is 6'4" and, in most depictions, is thin in the extreme meaning she would have no trouble finding editorial work and walking some of the most high profile shows. her modeling career isn't super serious in the comics, so I don't see her modeling for most of the year but she would absolutely end up being the muse of either an established or up-and-coming fashion house. she's not a model you see in product photos, she's a model you see on the cover of Vogue, a model you see in editorials in local and international fashion magazines, etc. etc. her career would be relatively easy in that she doesn't have to go looking for jobs and she probably doesn't have to go to casting calls (which are literal hell sometimes). I think modeling would be like a fun hobby for her more than a job because she doesn't have to do it all the time and would get the highest paying jobs, which supplement her income for most of the year.

her IG handle would probably just be @ koryanders or koriandr because, as mentioned previously, she doesn't seem to have a ton of interest in covering up her identity. she's definitely one of the models that has upwards of a million followers because she's been on Instagram FOREVER and I think she would eventually go on to do public speaking which would draw even more people to her page. I also don't see her going to parties/events beyond the requisite events or events that she personally is really drawn to. meaning, she's going to go to after parties and she'll go to events thrown by friends or by her agency or to events that she absolutely knows Donna is going to be at but I don't think she would be interested in parties that strangers throw, ykwim?

I think that she would eventually form her own sort of mother agency, while still modeling for the agencies she's signed to, as a means of providing younger models with an opportunity they may not otherwise get.

So not only people are trying to ruin JK’s image by spreading a rumor about him being involved with a very problematic family but people keep on believing “supporting” thus it gives the upper hand to village idiots to post more stories dug from a raccoon”s booty hole.

The girl who posted the video on her IG is Algerian.. I mean no offense to Arabs heck i’m too but y’all’s supposed sasaeng tea is bullshit i don’t know maybe save that money you’re wasting on better thing like.. Getting proper education to get your head out of the gutter?

Why am i not even surprised tho i remember reading a few months ago “tea” from another Algerian “sasaeng” that said that Dreamers was supposed to be a subunit and Hybe didn’t want to bla bla bla bla..

At least get the facts correct, i will repeat it for the gazillion time, if you’re trynna lie, at least make it believable, don’t go around making up lies when the truth is out there for everyone to see but i blame the dumb farts on the comments asking if it’s true or “feeling bad” for the situation. Do yourselves a favor and go to school that’s actually really embarrassing.

It’s me again with the first ask about H’s finsta - yeah, I found it hilarious that he’s following so many meme accounts (and gay ones haha). It was also mentioned in that (stunt) RS article that he’s only using his IG to see plants (and it’s obviously not his public profile like i went through what/who he follows multiple times and not a single one dedicated to plants) so maybe there can be some profiles dedicated to plants and urban jungle. And maybe also profiles dedicated to architecture//interior//art ‘cause I have a feeling he’s into these things too. It just blows my mind that on his (known) finsta he follows more profiles than on his official-work profile. And as I’m writing this, I think that he doesn’t actually made close friends group but when he accidentally uploaded his stories it was that he forgot to switch accounts haha. Altho that last accidental story wearing 1D tshirt wasn’t accidental at all and maybe he wanted to say something when Louis’ AOTV had premiere in like 5 weeks and served some unseen Larry moments - we know that he knows what he’s doing eventho it looks like accident sometimes.

I remember seeing that Louis follows some interior design blogs, too. I’ll bet H does follow plant and home design blogs. And I definitely side eye that whole “accidental” post. The rumors we saw said he wasn’t even staying at that hotel, so why would he come to the hotel just to work out? Either way, it was cute.

There is something I don't understand, I looked on Google and it's Renell who is the cofounder of Ice Studio and not Jess so why did she make everyone believe that it's her the co-founder of this company and yet it is written on Google Ice Studio by Renell Medrano and I saw nowhere that Jess works there as a Photographer, model, designer or whatever.

Does Renell accept that Jess posts celebrity photos on IG ?

Is Renell paying Jess to post her own work (Renell s work) ?

I'm wondering all these questions because Renell follows Jess on IG, it's not that I'm defending Jess but if she is stealing photos of companies whether Renell or Quill by taking screenshots and posting them on IG without both of their consent, they would have sued her.

The official website is very poorly set up and confusing. If you go to the official site this is what you'll get:

The only links that you can click from this page are up at the top left which is a link to the Instagram account, the online store (which isn't even open or running), and an email address [email protected] which was changed because it used to [email protected] in fact, all of the contact information used to go directly to Jess. It doesn't now. There are no other active links on this homepage that you can access just by looking at it because whoever is setting up these websites doesn't know jackshit about web design.

However, if you do a bit of digging, you can eventually find this page:

There is no link to access this page from their homepage, which you think there would be because the static homepage alone gives literally no information as to what this website or business or page is. At all. Which is why people go to websites in the first place. Here on this page, you can see what it says in the corner:

Only here will you find Jess mentioned on the site (the link/button that says close doesn't work either) so basically their website is broken and they've hidden this information from the general public who might find their website in the first place.

You can also eventually find this page if you look hard enough but in total, there are only 4 pages on this website, you have to look for all of them (and know their exact URL). Most people aren't going to know how to do this or won't bother. They might click on one of the three available links up at the top but that's about it. Their website has always been mostly set up like this anyway but now they've definitely gone out of their way to hide Jess being part of it more than they had before.

It is true that if you Google the shop it only says that Renell comes up:

The problem with this is that back when Complexcon was happening Jess was not only "advertising" that they were looking for a graphic designer (as if she were hiring them) but she also promoted the convention and then someone thanked her for her help setting up the shop/booth whatever at the convention. Jess also has worn Ice Merchandise quite a few times in her IG stories and for years the link in her IG profile bio has been for the shop not for the main website. This means that Jess must have some kind of investment in this shop because she wouldn't have a reason to promote it otherwise. Renell also used to have a post claiming Jess was "ice cru" but removed that post from her Instagram as well. [Source]

It gets even weirder when you realize that Renell herself, by herself, not with Jess, founded Ice Studios as a business in 2017 before she even met Jess. Public records show that Ice Studios LLC was established in 2017.

This is confirmed by interviews that Renell did where she says she already created the business and they date back to 2016 and 2017. [Source]

In that weird interview Jess does for BEATS REWIND she says flat out that she has no idea how to manage a photographer or what she's doing or anything like that but she "Has to help Renell" and she apparently approached Renell with some hair-brained half-assed scheme about being her manager and representing her and talked her into forming the Ice Studios artist collective or whatever which was established in 2021.

Still, once again, Jess does abundantly appear to be part of this shop's creation because of posts she's made about the shop and merchandise dating back to 2021 when Bella Hadid was actually doing things with them. Jess has some investment in both the shop and the "artist collective" (though I'm not sure if the collective makes money or even how it would make money). Except the Ice Studios business was founded entirely by Renell, and that can be proven, so how Jess ever got to the status of co-founder makes no sense. Not unless Jess bought out half of the business or made some deal with Renell to get half the business so she could call herself the co-founder.

How Jess manipulated Renell into doing this when by her own admission she had no idea what she was doing (she just saw Renell as a cash cow and "had to make it happen") I really don't know. Jess didn't have experience with this (still doesn't) and yet she still somehow conned Renell into believing that her help would be super beneficial. The problem is we can all see that it has never been beneficial. Bella Hadid cut ties with modeling for them and promoting for them. They aren't a recognizable name brand to basically anyone. They aren't trendy or even a niche/cult trend. They just had a sample sale to try to get rid of merch and almost no one even showed up to it.

By all accounts, Jess has only ever been detrimental to Renell, Quil, and Nikki.

As for the stolen/borrowed/owned photos....there's a whole can of worms. If Jess legally owns half of this business entity then she may have all legal rights to post all photos that Renell takes because Renell works for/owns part of Ice Studios. This may be a situation of whether Renell likes it or not because Jess is so entangled with the "business" Jess can do whatever she wants with any photo Renell takes because if that photo is automatically property of Ice Studios and Jess is part owner then Jess owns it too.

I did mention that Jess has abruptly stopped posting Quil's photos and Nikki's Photos (for some reason) when she used to do that all the time. She also used to straight up steal celebrity photos from other accounts (like Billie Eilish and Lily-Rose Depp) and repost them but she doesn't do that either. The long and short of it is that something definitely happened here that is shady, went wrong, and it looks like they are trying to distance Jess's association with them. The problem is that if they are trying to do this and Jess does legally own half the business they still have to list her as co-founder, still cut her in on what little she is legally owed, and still have to put up with her even if they don't want to because otherwise she can sue them.

The only other way to get her out is to buy her out or potentially sue her but if she isn't violating whatever business terms/agreements that were already made they have no case. If they want to buy her out then it will have to be at a price she accepts and knowing her it'll be something ridiculous that Renell can't afford since the business is basically drowning. Whatever narrative her stans like to push (that she's successfully running this company or both of them or whatever) is not true. You can see on paper that it's not true. You can see how badly the "business" has declined since Jess got involved. You can see how they are hiding her involvement from the website as much as they possibly can.

If I had to guess she's only still allowed to do these things and post these things because on paper and legally she owns some part of the business but no one really wants her there so they can't do anything about it until she decides to relinquish control. If she's this awful to deal with over a business she didn't start and should all rights not be a part of imagine how hard it's going to be for Jamie to get rid of her.

Just a recap of what we do know (links to proof at bottom):

Ever since the little girl started sexually harassing Ted under his pics on Insta and under his tweets people have been telling her or asking her not to do this and to please treat him with respect. Even if her age wasn't in her IG bio months ago it was clear she is very young, and it is definitely clear NOW.

2. How this all 'started'

He was mentioned on Tw multiple times in tweet replies that this girl is a MINOR and that she should stop this. He was active on Twitter liking tweets, the girl had responded to his tweet about the dentist 'I bet you go to lots of wild parties Ted'. He 'liked' this reply, so he saw her commenting suggestively again and showed her he LIKES her reply. It's been clear that him liking or replying to her comments (she commented 'be my munch' months ago and Ted replied 'oh my...') has encouraged her to keep at it, because she never stopped and she has been saying to ppl, 'he thinks I'm funny, he always likes my replies'.

3. After he liked her reply about the wild parties he started to follow her. Mind you, he knew this 15 y/o girl had been posting half naked pics of herself on her public twitter, because he followed her almost right after a couple ppl notified him. Ppl say he doesn't have time to check everything... He is very active on socials, he even liked an older pic by a 22 y/o female fan, proving he def scrolls down on twitter accounts, because he had to scroll down several tweets to get to the pic he liked.

4. People are now saying some proof of DMs someone spread is fake (it was an edit the girl made, we weren't aware this was fake). Okay, that's fair. But let's not get side tracked. The real DMs will never be shared. We do know the girl showed off to her friends on TikTok saying he followed her (which we know is true because we can see it's true) and that he initiated contact by saying 'Why, hello [name redacted]', which sounds flirty and inappropriate. People are calling the girl a liar. But what if she's not lying about him DMing her now that he's following her? Would it be okay then? Even in a non sexual context it's inappropriate for a 57 y/o man to be social media friends with a 15 y/o girl, and we've already established there's a sexual context from her side at least, because it's been documented. Teachers get fired for stuff like this, because of the power imbalance.

5. If you're accused of something like this, what would you do if you were innocent? Would you stay quiet, waiting for it to blow over? Or would you do anything to show you haven't been doing anything illegal? What seems icky to me is that the girl has locked her Tw, so if Ted likes a lewd pic, no one would know. And if there's nothing disturbing or illegal going on, why are her Tw and IG profiles private and has she deleted her entire TikTok acc?

This is not drama, it turned into that because people launched personal attacks, I have been guilty of that as well. I won't anymore because that is not what this is about. This is about a minor being at risk OR a celeb nearly ruining his whole career because he didn't just tell the girl to stop, didn't just block the girl, but instead decided it would be smart to follow her and most probably DM her, initiating contact with a 15 y/o.

Am I the only one who finds it very strange that Johanne even changed her profile picture at all to one she took way back in what, like July or August? Especially knowing that her last 3 profile pictures were all pictures taken by Alex. Wouldn't just a new picture he's taken of her suffice if she just "wanted a change?" Because that would still do the trick as the last 3 pictures did if we assume it's to show, "We're together, he's mine, he took my photo, look. See?" Maybe I'm just being pissy and reading way too much into it, but it seems that her every move on Ig is for some kind of sneaky purpose so I just felt like they actually were having issues during the holidays, and now she's just being petty. Am I crazy? Please tell me I'm just crazy and just looking for something to complain about!

And honestly, I thought Alex's New Year's story was a jab at her. That unlike her, his every move didn't have to have a photo and be posted on the internet. We all know he takes pictures of practically everything, and he would know that him saying he "needs to take more photos" is laughable. (And side note, I actually did see at least 2 or 3 fanpages call him out for saying he doesn't take photos by posting the picture Nomi took of him literally taking a photo! 😋) So this is why I think he posted it to basically, "Pull a Johanne." Haha Again, am I just reading too much into it and giving him way too much credit? Definitely need to hear what you guys think......hoping you say I'm crazy....

Personally, I believe anything is possible at this point, so your theory is a plausible one. Judging by the change in her "posting pattern" during the holidays, it was discussed whether she and Alex had spent that time apart. And then, those assumptions turned out to be correct. What we don't know are the reasons behind this, since them being apart, Johanne not reposting the pictures Sladderkongen shared of her and Alex (but only the one where she was alone) and Alex's "cryptical" New Year's story seemed to denote some kind of "trouble in paradise" between them. However, when a fan's comment asked Johanne about Alex, she was quick to post a picture of the two of them, where he's lovingly kissing her head, as to show that everything is alright. Now, we don't know whether this is a recent picture or not, but the fact that she posted it seemed to serve the purpose of silencing the rumors that something isn't right between them.

What I also find a little strange, is that none of them posted a "2023 recap" so far, when they usually do so and this was supposed to have been a good year for them, especially since it was their first year together (officially) and they even travelled to some beautiful places. Could it be that something happened and that content doesn't make much sense to them right now, so they're refraining from posting it? Or maybe we're just reading too much into it once more, and they just didn't have the time/disposition to work on it yet, but will eventually post it later this month? Time will tell. 😊

Returning to the subject of Alex's story, it could indeed have been a dig at Johanne, just like her refraining from reposting Sladderkongen's picture of them could have been out of pettiness, especially if their hypothetical "quarrel" had anything to do with boundaries of what should and shouldn't be posted on IG. However, there are also other hypotheses to consider. Maybe he wasn't aware of Nomi's story when he posted his? So telling his followers that he didn't take many pictures during the holidays would be in accordance with his public persona — the one who's claimed that self-promoting on IG is boring, and that people could benefit from a day without phones. Or, just like this anon suggested, by mentioning his photography and intention of taking more pictures, he could be trying to direct people's attentions to a photography project in the near future? Or maybe there wasn't anything cryptical about his story at all, and he really meant what he wrote — that his New Year's resolution would be to take more pictures (maybe he would like to improve his photography skills this year?) and that he really didn't have any pictures to share from New Year's party (note that he didn't say he didn't actually take any pictures, just that he had none to show — so maybe none of those were flattering to the ones involved? 😆 Maybe he didn't want his followers to see him & his friends partying while drunk? And that's valid, of course.).

About Johanne's new profile picture, I think that your interpretation is also absolutely valid, especially under the light of "trouble in paradise" theory. However, even if everything is alright between them, maybe she entered 2024 with this "new year, new me" mentality? So if in 2023 a lot of people had this idea about her, that she was basically in "Alex's shadow", reaping all the benefits of being in a relationship with him and even claiming some kind of "ownership" over him, his clothes and his home, as well as the notion that she'd be unknown without him, maybe in 2024 she wants to distance herself from all that? Maybe she wants to prove that she can actually shine as her own person, without needing Alex's help? Or maybe we're reading too much into it once again, and she just really liked the disco balls and pink background. 😆

Whatever their reasons were, I believe that with the little info we have so far, it's only normal to speculate and try to find possible explanations, but we can't really tell with 100% certainty what's happening. However, in due time, I'm sure we'll understand it much better. Guess we'll have to wait and see! But until then, I believe it's okay to share your opinions and theories. So keep bringing them on! 😉

I take it this involves his private account? Because for years his public account has only followed that alpaca farm in Italy lol. Anyway, I don't know what's going on there, if it's true that he unfollowed GD (and YB?), but I remember hearing about GD unfollowing TOP a month or so ago on his private... then following him back like a week later. Some people were agonizing over it, spinning all kinds of stories about them and fighting with each other, using it as fanwar fodder, to the point where, when the follow was restored, they griped, "All that drama for nothing, thanks Jiyong." Drama? What drama? It's fans creating unnecessary drama. There was no good reason to read into it so deeply. I didn't back then, and I'm not going to now.

Another recent thing that's perplexing: that article TOP shared in his IG stories, the one about his Naver profile change. Though it's easy to find it ominous, no one can be sure why he brought it up. Did he highlight it because it signals a new direction in his career... and a growing distance between him and BB? Are there implications for his relationships with the other members? Maybe it's the result of a copyright conflict with YG now that he's no longer under contract with the company? Or is this just another episode of TOP calling out the media with a bemused "lol look at this shit." Because the article, if you find and read it, is full of more of the media doing what they've been doing ever since the February announcement of his departure from YG: reporting on him like he's out of the band and gone for good (for life, you could say). Without any comment or explanation from TOP, just a screenshot, it's impossible to know what he meant by sharing that headline about GD&TOP. Really, I'd just not worry about it for now. There are no definite answers at this time.

Xander's dad had a friend who was a photographer and he ran a blog called Philly Chats. It was partly about Philly in general but he would also post a lot about Harry and Xander. He posted photos of them together, or Harry out and about in Philly, and sightings. He had an instagram page too and answered fans on it. He never said that they were in a relationship but imo he talked in a way that suggested they were like mentioning romantic dates, sleepovers, meeting parents, sharing clothes, jewelry etc. He wasn't the only one who did this because there were several others connected to Xander who also pushed the Xarry thing including his brother Max. So that is what made me think it was fan service because for what other reason would they do that? Unless they were looking for attention from Harry's fans and went about it in a creative way lol. I understand why Brad wiped his IG but not why most of his instastories are about Harry. Like clockwork, he posts a pic at a location and then we get pics the next day of Harry having been there. So now fans have connected the dots that Harry is everywhere Brad is. Other things like sharing clothes. The yacht pics of them in Australia. The backstage Brits pic where Brad was beside Harry but the rest of his team were at the back. The matching tattoos which the media brings up. Fan vids of Harry with Brad in the background, fan accounts of meeting Harry and Brad being there too. Pap pics, sneaky fan pics. I really doubt Harry and Brad are together all the time so why do they make it seem like it? Again, I don't think they're in a relationship but I thought maybe it was to keep fans speculating. But I 100% agree with you that they panicked when the tabloids picked it up. After that we didn't see Brad for like a week. But now we're seeing him again and the media does tend to post fan chatter. So I'm curious how they're going to manage this lol. Maybe they'll have Brad post a pic with a girlfriend, it's probably the only way. Sorry this is so long but am interested in your thoughts!

Okay I think maybe the issue here is just a fundamental difference in how we look at celebs and relationships.

My starting point generally when it comes to friends/family of celebs is this - people share about all sorts of parts of their lives and that might include their famous friends. I’m not sure how useful it is to get into specifics but let’s imagine that I was right and Brad doesn’t want to share his personal life now that he is under more fan scrutiny but he does like to share bits of his life on social media, especially if he’s doing a job that’s interesting/fun/prolific - why would there have to be a wider agenda? Maybe staff on LOT are encouraged to post about the tour also? I’ve worked in jobs where a social media presence has been encouraged and in jobs where it’s highly restricted.

Some of this I just don’t agree with also, like the matching tattoos thing I think is a bit mad to try and make work, sharing clothes like don’t you share clothes with your friends? My pal was here for the weekend and wore my hoodie out for the day, we’re not dating.

You said you really doubt that Harry and Brad are together all the time, but I don’t think that’s up for debate here bc I agree, I do think that they’re together a lot while Harry is on tour. There could be many reasons for it - I do think him being someone Harry enjoys being around or is doing his job is a valid enough option.

I’m also not familiar enough with the Philly chats content to comment on how things were framed, you can defo send me some if you have it, but I’m pretty confident in what my position will be.

I think Philly Chats was maybe trying to raise its profile by maximising the connections he had. I also think it’s a bit of a stretch to think that Xanders dad’s friend who runs a public blog would be posting about his friends son’s famous boyfriend or would even know about any relationship they had beyond ‘they know eachother’.

I’m not sure I think they need to do anything else just now - I think the bradrry rumours have died down a bit. I also don’t think it’s likely at all that Brad having a girlfriend would be related to this, the issue is not Brad but speculation about Harry’s sexuality - the obvious response would be for Harry to continue to perform heterosexuality.

Afraid of Love

I'm 28 year old lady and I have been single since birth. Having flings are unappealing to me because I want a serious and honest relationship with a guy. Crushes are temporary and by luck, I get a nanosecond of a guy's attention before he find someone worth their time. But, I guess that's my fault since I'm closed off and my lack of social skills. I lack the ability to flirt and it doesn't help when you're an introvert who's socially awkward. Guys never approached me and I don't have the courage to approach one either. I don't have a problem being single. Slowly, learning and loving myself more but it doesn't mean I don't want a relationship. In fact, I love to be in a relationship where I can love and care for the guy I love and his as well. I want to experience snuggling with him on the couch while we're watching movies, holding hands and smiling at each other when we walk down the street, bantering and laughing at our silliness and slow dancing to our song. But, the problem is I'm afraid. I'm afraid of love. It's not because I have commitment issues. One thing about me is I'm very loyal and not afraid to commit. What I'm afraid of is him falling out of love for me. I'm afraid when I wake up in the morning, I don't see the love in his eyes anymore. He would say the words I fear the most, 'I don't love you anymore', and gets up and leave. I'm left crying and heartbroken. I'm afraid that I'm not worth enough for him to stay.

I have some experiences where a guy would reach out to me in social media and we would talk ang laugh for long hours. They would flirt with me and I would try to flirt back but I ended up complimenting him which they will laugh and say they find it cute but it doesn't last long. The last message would always be me greeting them good morning and telling them to have a great day and be safe. They left me on read and never replied back. The last one I thought it was going to last.

He reached out to me on Instagram in the year 2020, in the middle of the pandemic. I was skeptical at first because he's a very handsome guy and told me I'm beautiful. I ended up replying later on and we've been talking to each other for two years. He would make me smile and laugh with his cute flirting and we would talk about our dreams and goals. He would tell me his silly pickup lines and I would smile and laugh. I felt happy when he said he liked me because I liked him as well. He told me he hoped I wasn't talking to anyone else and reassured him I wasn't which was true. But, he never said we were couple and I don't want to presume we were because he never made it official and I don't know if I should say something or not. We lasted for two years and I was slowly falling for him but not once he said we were exclusive. His last message was his reply from the joke I learned from Tiktok. Then, a few weeks passed he never messaged me. At first I thought, maybe he was busy with work or resting so I let it be. One day, I decided to message him and asked how he was doing. Only to find out I can no longer view his IG profile. He blocked me. How did I know he blocked me? I have another IG account with a different name. I created it when I was still in college. His profile used to be private but then he made it public. I saw his new posts and stories. I checked the dates and it was the exact same time where he stopped messaging me. I never saw those posts and stories which meant he hid it from me before he blocked me. I saw his IG story with a girl and they were traveling together. In his post, he captioned the girl as 'his love'. I was heartbroken and I felt so stupid. I cried and mend my broken heart. I was like that for two months. It was funny because we started in August 2020 and ended in August 2022. Sadly, he never told me we were couple and maybe that's why he just did what he did. Although, I wished he would talked to me that he found someone and want to end things. I mean sure I would be heartbroken but I will let him go. I won't beg him to reconsider and stay. I just wanted closure but I guess what he did was closure enough.

I know it's ridiculous to get affected but I can't help it. When he blocked me, it felt like I was a piece of trash. Easy to throw away. It made me feel I was never important and not worth his time. To me, my worst fear became a reality. Now, I'm scared it's going to happen again once a guy reaches out or approaches me.

I want to fall in love and be happy but at the same time I'm afraid. I'm afraid he would leave and I don't want to get hurt. The idea of him falling out of love for me at any time scares me.

Now this makes that OP who brought her heavy Elle magazine in the middle of the night thinking she'd bump into taehyung story suspicious. Tae's autograph in that magazine is a little different, too. However, the clearer video shows that it was Taehyung despite only his side profile is visible.

I never really considered this a publicity stunt coz a lot is at stake for the both of them. I thought it's a bit of a reach, but now I'm considering the possibility of it. I can't stop thinking of that Kdrama scene where they were making a dating scandal or something. It's freakin' similar! lol

The gurumi photos looked really like Tae and Jennie, but then none of the photos were clearly showing their faces. They either have their phones or masks covering their faces or they're not looking directly at the camera. We see how clear the photos Tae and Jennie post on their IG, so why are there no clear photos of them together? And where is gurumi now? But I also remember the YG statement before about Jennie's cloud being hacked or something, so maybe those are real photos. I dunno anymore. lol I'm also considering the DC Gallery and how HYBE and YG staff being involved in this.

Also, the lack of response from Tae, considering how protective and assertive he is, makes me question the truth of this dating issue. Weren't those photos and videos a go signal for them to come out already? Since they were out in the open now anyway, and a lot of media especially kmedia have reported about it already. It's impossible for them not to know this.

He and Jennie might probably just keeping things lowkey for now (If they really are together) that's why they're not giving any statements.

The hate Jennie is getting, and Tae being silent about it, is very uncharacteristic of him. Maybe he just doesn't want to make a mountain out of a mold, and most of the hate Jennie is getting is because of her lack of enthusiasm in concerts and her HBO show anyway, so he might not want to meddle in that.

Anyway, all these theories feel like a kdrama. lmao. Let's tune in for the next episode.

Celebs know how to go around unseen. They wear plain clothing, and not flashy jacket's like Tae's Celine one. They don't go walking around with a whole team when they want to go unseen. They don't go and sign autographs when they want to be private. Arists do say no to fans and paps if they want to. No-one tried to stop that pap, and he was around them for some time. THey wanted to be seen that night, I am sure of it.

If thos Gurumi pics of Tae Jennie are actually from her Instagram (which is what most people seem to lean to) either Gurumi picked the odd ones, or Jennie posted weird pics on there. Jennie having pics of them on her Insta that early in their "relationship" means they would have already been rather serous back then, because she had no trouble letting her private followers know. And yet they are still hesitant to make an actual statement now, while also having no problem walking around in Paris.

I know what it looks like to me.

On a side note: I've gotten a few asks about how people see Jennie. I won't be posting those, because I'm not a Jennie-discussion blog and I don't really like the turn the conversation is taking. CA anon, thanks for you ask... it was very helpful. Misogyny anon, it is about letting women make their own choices, not about how others percieve those choices.
