The Four Pillars grew out of a relationship with a faith-based self-help group in Newtown, Connecticut, that Durst photographed over several years. Despite their ostensibly comfortable lives, these affluent suburbanites felt unfulfilled and directionless. They met weekly in church basements to discuss spiritual and secular strategies to find meaning and purpose, and to deconstruct the markers of success, progress and identity within middle-class American society.

Durst's staged, inventive images build organically on this self-critical base structure by inventing scenarios that interrogate the relationship between the individual and the group, the norms we aspire to, and the social gravity that holds these two in alignment. Durst takes the details of these scenarios – mundane family portraits, team bonding exercises, pregnancy groups, school gyms, amateur theatre, county fairs – and amplifies their strangeness, through a lens that is at once factual, fictional, banal and absurd.

patient in everybody dies is a mirror for house. he had a good life but a skiing injury left him in pain. painkillers weren’t enough. tried heroin and said that it felt like god being injected into his veins. felt like there was no longer any pain or misery in his life or in anybody else’s. he then lost everything because of it but he doesn’t care. reality sucks and the drugs and their happiness are all he chooses to live for. house spends the episode looking for a way to be happy and so he thinks that being like that guy is the solution. so the episode ends with house doing what that guy did. he finds a way to be happy and destroys the rest of his life for it. but it isn’t drugs. it’s wilson. wilson is the only thing strong enough to end his pain and misery. wilson is like god being injected into his veins. they mirrored drug addict house to a guy who threw his life away for drugs to be happy and then had house throw his life away for wilson. genuinely what the fuck was house md

While I appreciate the Elite/Hangman stuff being brought back up to continue, I also don't want AEW to diminish Dark Order by simply swapping them out.

Initially I had hoped that we'd put Dark Order over by having them rise to meet the BCC, since they are still good wrestlers who made the Trios finals, at Blood & Guts. But with the Elite coming in it does feel like they are at risk of being job guys again.

Instead, I want to encourage AEW to go a different route, make this a 3-way battle for Hangman's soul: you have the BCC who respect Hangman but want to literally beat him into submission (we could have it be like a recruitment angle), the Elite are his old friends capable of standing to the BCC and penitent for their rift, and Dark Order are the friends who stuck by Hangman at his lowest but seem a little out of depth. We put a fourth for Elite and BCC (Adam Cole for Elite and maybe someone like Hobbs for BCC since he did roll with Mox for a bit, or Shota, may be too soon for heel Danielson) while keeping Stu because Stu is great and then we have a great narrative feud as well as a great in-ring feud.

Hell, 3-Way Anarchy in the Arena it with Hangman making a choice on who to side with, just don't shuffle Dark Order to the side.
